Located on Guadalupe Rd at the East end of this strip mall. Plenty of parking. Limited table seating. For a hole in the wall, neighborhood dive bar, this place is good. Pleasant service. Satisfyingly good menu items and reasonable prices, even with a fairly recent menu update. Surprises me to see a kitchen that's actually incorporated behind the bar. And equally impressive is the quality of food the cook kicks out. I'm not saying this is 5 dining, but the food and drink value to price. Well you just can't get a meal at a fast food restaurant that's half as good or close in price. And let's not forget, there are cocktail options. Our waitress has always been great too. Timely approach, prompt with orders, and checks on tables regularly as well. And she's super nice. Will miss that gal from Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Televisions playing sports. I live in walking distance so I really wanted this dive bar to be a place to hang out but alas it's a DIVE. If you're feeling down and out or depressed this is your place. If you're an Alkie definitely your place. It's sticky, dirty, and smells. You'll probably get an STD if you touch anything in the bathroom and I think they like it that way. I tried to tip the waitress a bit over and she handed it back saying something of the effect of "Not here sweetheart." Additionally the wooden blinds and filthy carpet really hold in the despondence of the place. The staff is super nice very attentive. What I wasn't a fan of was the cockroach crawling across the bar. Made even worse by the fact I just ordered wings. Now I did eat the wings and they were absolutely great!!! Highly recommend! Additionally, there are some savory characters in this place so if you're a Snotsdale Princess that wants to go to a dive bar because for fun, stick to Coach House. The bathroom stinks of piss, and is dirty as shit. If you want to play pool, know there's no reason to check your cue, they're all bowed and crooked. An awesome local dive bar! The owner, Terry, provides excellent service and a great experience. There's many drink options and I highly suggest the breakfast shot, which comes with a piece of real bacon on top. Those were great! They also have a food menu with good variety. This is our local favorite. The foods great, get some of that fry seasoning on your cheeseburger it's yummy! Always get the seasoned fry's, we love the tendies, my man loves the chili cheese dogs. Everything is good. Best part is watching someone cook my burger it's like dinner and a show. I had LOVED this place for 4 years I was a regular. Olivia was let go so we stopped going. No big deal. I haven't been in about 3 yrs, went the other day since I was close by and craving a Philly.... This is a very cool hidden bar! Me and the bestie came last night since we both had a hard week, and were in need of fried food and ice cold drinks. We got a pitcher of IPA to share, as well as a few shots. I love that they serve your beer in a chilled mug! The shots were tasty, had the Starburst and lemon drop. Food was very good, and so cheap! We had the fried pickles, fried Mac and cheese, mozzarella sticks, and fish and chips. The service was as good as it could be for being a busy Friday night, and only 1 server working. First found a ROACH in our drink. Then waited over an hour for our food, reason being they only have one cook & because ours was a big ticket it got pushed behind others per the waitress. THEN when we asked for our bill to be discounted due to the horrible service, got an eye roll from the server & $10 taken off. Been here in the past & was never like this but won't be coming back. So I went out on a limb to try this place and my oh my am I glad I did! I posted on a local Facebook group asking for the best fresh cut fries in the area, and multiple people said Pub n Grub - so we went! We came in on a Saturday a little after 5:30. It's open seating, very casual (it's a dive bar!) and everyone was really friendly. Definitely lots of regulars there, which is cool! I ordered fried pickles to start...can't resist them! I didn't even take a pic because I was so hungry and the pickle chips were perfectly crispy! The cool ranch added some nice balance. We of course saved the ranch for the fries later ;) We both ordered burgers - I had the bacon cheeseburger and my husband had a bacon bleu burger. They both tasted awesome and were nice and juicy! You do order the fries separate, so we ordered a large to split. Whoaaaa the large is huge! We ended up taking some home. But holy cannoli were they exactly what I was looking for!! Service is suspect. This establishment seems to be understaffed at times as that has been my experience. I love the ambiance and special feel of a dive bar atmosphere. I mean that with the utmost respect. That is my thing and attracts me to these spots. Just something I love to be a part of. Likely an off day but I will check back in the near future. This time I saw the writing on the wall when the waitress snorted and said "yeah there's only one of me" when we tried to order food at the same time as drinks. It is a hole-in-the-wall bar and that has some cheap beer. And the food is not that bad either. I usually come here for my friends because they dislike the cheap food in the cheap beer. The atmosphere and setting is pretty standard and generic. There is nothing fancy about the place at all. It is not like a bar and grill at a mall or in a fancy parking lot, but just a normal bar and grill that is plaza but they small parking lot. One of those places only the locals would go probably. But yes, the have their burgers and fries, the beer, the liquor, and probably some food that's not good for you. But hey, you're probably there for the fun time. Not the healthy food. Went on Friday 04/21/2023 The food was okay but the service my 3 friends and I got makes me never want to go back ever again. Our server was one of the rudest people I've ever met and generally I don't even write reviews but I feel like it's worth it to tell how awful this was and if I knew the servers name I would give it. I have never had a server turn away from me ordering in mid-sentence. Practically made my friend cry. She also forgot almost every single order we made and charged us for drinks we didn't end up getting and barely said a word to us. By far the worst service experience I have ever had in any restaurant or bar. On top of it she dropped our checks on the floor when we were going to leave. Needless to say she didn't get a tip on a $100 tab and easily never deserved it. If I was management I would seek corrective actions. You cannot treat your customers like that. We as customers did not choose the servers profession. If you don't like service don't do it. It's embarrassing and shameful for the rest of your establishment which seems to otherwise offer good food and a nice atmosphere. read more

We've been coming here for years. Service is good, food is great!! Our favorites are the green hornet sandwich and the Philly steak sandwich. Both are fantastic. This place. How have we not found it sooner! We are Arizona natives/East valley natives, and never been here. If you are looking for amazing comfort food, where everything is good, and the vibes are good, this place is it. Not a dive bar, not a pick-up bar, but like a cheers bar that serves up your drinks fast, and the cook serves up your late night food right in front of you. It's been here since 1985, no changes, and no signs on the outside.
