We were at the Chandler car show today and stopped in for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised that they had luve music today. The band consisted of a drummer and a guitar player. Wow were we impressed with them! Great music and they took requests. We ordered the loaded fries as an appetizer. Our drinks were a Jameson and Ginger Ale, and a Jameson and Root Beer. Both were delicious. For our main course we ordered the Shepherds Pie to share. We wre not disappointed with our choices. I must say the loaded fries were the best we've had in a long time! They were served on a piping hot cast iron pan. The Shepherds Pie was also absolutely amazing! The server was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was excellent. We will return!!!!

Stopped in with a group and this place was very fun!! They had the football game on and then when the game was over a live band. Our server was nice she was super busy so her being attentive was top notch. Get the peanut butter shot if you go it's so good!!

First time here! We really liked it, loved my Green Tea Drink (used to the shots) and he liked his Jameson Coldbrew!! Our Bartender Zac was very nice and accommodating! Loved the options of food and drinks! The chicken tenders were different thin and made from breasts. Super yummy!! Ambiance is super cool, restrooms were super clean and decorated modernly. A great hidden treasure in the middle of downtown Chandler. Worth checking out. I've only tried early it the day still have to go at night. We will return!

I don't come here very often because it's always very loud when i go. I can say they have good fish and chips, definitely worth going for their BOGO special on tuesday and their wing Wednesday has unbeatable wing prices. I've heard from multiple people they have "the best wings" but in my opinion they were pretty mediocre. The wings are abnormally large which that tells me they don't order from healthy chicken farms. The sauce they put on the wings are all good especially the jameson flavor but the issue is the only flavor on the wing is on the skin, coming from the sauce. I'm guessing they don't marinate the chicken and if they do, then not for very long.

We have patronized this establishment over the years and have generally had pleasant experiences. However, I was very disappointed with my visit last night. We were with a group of friends celebrating St. Patrick's Day weekend, and we stopped in for a drink at Murphy's Law. I ordered a draft Miller Lite and a frosted shot (one of their signature items). When I saw that they were charging $12 for a domestic draft beer, I thought it was a mistake. (See photo of the bill). The bartender said it was correct. So I then spoke with a manager and he said he had no control over the pricing, and that the prices were set by the owner "Brad". Additionally, not only was the beer price ridiculous, the establishment also added an extra 15% to the tab for the "weekend festival". Well, Brad, I hope you are happy with the profits you make this weekend, because we won't be returning. You don't take advantage of your patrons like that if you expect them to support your business.

Fun times - always a good crowd, live music and great people watching. I didn't try any of the food but everyone around me seemed to enjoy whatever it is they had ordered ..... if you're in the Chandler area it's worth a stop in

It is a not a trip to Chandler if we don't make it into Murphy's Law at least once! We have been coming here for years it is still one of my favorite spots but get ready for it to be very loud if you go, even during the day because there is basically always live music. We ended up going twice this trip! Our first time was our last stop on our night out with friends so we just enjoyed drinks, live music and of course the frozen peanut butter shots! The second time we went we actually went for brunch and I ordered the fish and chips which were super tasty and not too massive of a portion which I enjoy. My fiancé got the BBQ bacon burger and it was huge and gone very quickly, he said it was super delicious. He got his with their house made chips which were super good I love that they make them in house so they were fresh and crispy. See you next year!

Great Irish pub! We went in on a Sunday for an after dinner drink and we stayed for 2. They had karaoke and it was a fun atmosphere. The bartender was nice and attentive. The drinks were all good, but that frosted chocolate peanut butter shot they have was a first and it was delicious! Nice after kidder adult dessert.

I love Murphy's Law. The bartenders are great, they make good drinks and are friendly. I like there is easy parking. They don't have a dedicated lot but there is free parking out front. They had karaoke when we went on a Sunday night which was entertaining. The frosted chocolate peanut butter shot is great. Definitely a dessert shot. But worth going just to try that shot. Always a must stop for me when I'm in Chandler.

Pretzels were good a tad dry but I loved the mustard.

We were referred here by a coworker. We didn't expect for them to have a live band which was nice. I will say the sound wasn't great but after a bit it was worked out. The fish and chips was the best we have had! It was so crispy, great flavor, and I loved the tartar sauce mixed with cholula. Everything we had was so fresh and service was wonderful. They had really good Moscow mules. The only down to this has nothing to do with the restaurant it's the parking. So be prepared to park a little further. We will be back!

For years, I've been saying I should stop in this Irish pub but tend to be visiting other establishments when in the area. They have very limited vegetarian options, so it's not my first choice for dinner and drinks. My friends and I did dinner at Mingle + Graze, so this was an additional drinks on a Friday night kind of stop. This location was pretty noisy which made it hard to hear our group of four, even with seated away from the band. I was happy they had a cider on tap, but bummed it wasn't Strongbow or Magners. Angry Orchard is good, but love getting ones that bring me nostalgia. The whole group enjoyed their drinks, and would return again for drinks and perhaps some starters next time to nosh on. Side bar: my biggest pet peeve is when a restaurant, or people in general, call it a shepherds pie when it contains beef as that would be a cottage pie. I always have a hard time giving a 5-star when seeing this, thus a 4-star review was given.

Thick batter from mini fish and chips

Great spot for food and drinks. The daily specials and happy hour are very inviting. Wednesday's are $0.75 cent wings. Because I have had the wings before and love them, I chose not to get them initially during this visit.. I thought I would try something different. How about the mini fish and chips? I asked the waitress if she has had this item and she said yes it's pretty good and the fish and chips is a very popular item by other customers. So I decided to order the mini fish and chips. Unfortunately I was not impressed. The batter was way too thick and there was only small thin pieces of lfish in most of the pieces I had. Out of maybe 6 mini pieces of fish, I had one piece that had a greater fish to batter ratio. I ended up ordering a few wings because after peeling off all the batter to the fish I wasn't left with much protein. Because I know there are other menu items that are delicious and the service is good, this review gets 4 stars rather than 5.

We periodically visit Murphy's Law for food and drinks. This is a cool little Irish pub with good food. The drinks are always good with a decent beer selection and they have live music. My son wanted to go here for the Jameson Smoked Wings on a Sunday for lunch. The service was great with friendly staff. Although it was nice outside and they have a small patio, we chose to sit inside. What we didn't realize was the live music started while we were there and while the guys were good, it was pretty loud and made it challenging to talk. My son and I both got the wings and my wife got the Chicken and Waffles off the weekend brunch menu. The wings were delicious as always with lots of flavor. My wife said the chicken and waffles were also delicious (didn't get a photo because she tore into it right away). I highly suggest you stop by for a pint and some food. Keep in mind, this little place can get busy in the evenings.

The service was excellent. The waiter with the deep voice was attentive and had a jovial attitude. I had the French Onion soup and it was very good, pretty standard as French Onion soup goes. We also had the hummus platter type appetizer, again standard fare. Good but nothing that really stood out. I had the steak salad for an appetizer and the steak was cooked just the way I ordered it (medium rare). The salad was large and honestly, I couldn't finish it. But it was very good. Menu selection is good. All in all, worth a stop in and worth the price. I'd definitely go back.

Longer than usual but had a couple entrees, soup, and extended over our 3 desserts. Conversation was engaging and while we lingered we had to ask for our water to be refilled. Both times all 3 glasses were only filled half full. This was so strange and not typical of Keegan's service. I expect the server was hoping for additional tips from the next patrons and anxious for us to free up our table. This was disappointing to us since we are loyal customers to Keegans and drive out of our way. This was a one off out of at least 50 visits so we'll come again but disappointed.

Big portions, a huge menu (see pics), and genuinely good value across the board. Mmmm, that burger was good, juicy, thick, smokey, rich, and flavorful with warm, gooey cheese, fresh toppings and thick, warm, home-cut fries-o-plenty, excellent! If you're looking for a spot where the food punches way above expectations, this is it. *Atmosphere: depending on when you come, inside can get packed and feel a bit small when the crowd fills in. The vibe is extremely casual and laid back, the kind of place you could easily make your own and become a regular without even trying. The live music in the evening was great, but definitely loud, both the band and the crowd. If you're coming for quiet conversation on live music nights, this isn't the place. However, the crowd, noise level, and how packed it gets really depends on when you come in. Weekday lunch is significantly quieter, but evenings after work and weekends, especially when there's a band, get loud and busy fast. They have a large outdoor patio, which is a nice plus, but it was pretty smoky when we were there. Nice energy, just not the best for non-smokers. *Service: there were a lot of servers working, and ours was very sweet, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Exactly what you hope for in a bar like this. I felt "taken care of" and you can't put a price on that. *Overall: casual, lively, loud, and far better food than you'd ever expect. If you want a laid-back local spot with great food, live music, and a neighborhood feel, this is a solid pick and one you could easily end up visiting regularly. I added a few burger and menu photos to help you get a feel. Highly recommend!

I recently visited GTC after a high school basketball game with some friends and while we had a good experience I wanted more. The atmosphere is great. Dive bar feel that is clean and has charm and a great neighborhood vibe. The band in the corner didn't drown out our conversation and played old country music that was fun and upbeat. Our waiter was great offering suggestions and checking in on us regularly. Where the disappointment came in was our food and drinks. We ordered sliders, quesadilla, and the Philly cheesesteak. All of them were "fine" with the sliders being more bread than slider and same for the Philly. The quesadilla was the best of the options and had lots of ingredients packed in. Our drinks were also less than ideal as they seemed to have zero alcohol. If you are gonna drink go with beer since what you see is what you get. Cocktails were short pours and watered down. I even called them out after the first one and nothing changed with the second so I stopped donating. At the End of the Day, Good Time Charlis is not a bad stop and I'm sure the regulars are die hard. So if you go, let me help in my experience and simply order a quesadilla, beer of choice, and listen to the band...the best part of the night.

The location has a quaint, house-style feel with beautifully manicured grounds. The large doors were open, allowing a lovely breeze to flow through, a welcomed touch. There's also a convenient parking lot right next door, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options: outside patio, high-top outdoor seating, inside bar seating, and traditional indoor dining. We arrived in that sweet spot between lunch and happy hour, so the restaurant was quiet and relaxed, exactly how we like it. Drinks My Blue Hawaiian ($15) was absolutely amazing, it really hit the spot, and I was still feeling great when we left! My husband ordered the Pizza Port Chronic ($5) and said it was a nice, refreshing change of pace. Our Server Andrew Andrew greeted us immediately, walked us through both the food and drink menus, and was genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was the highlight of our visit. Exceptional service. Appetizer Butter Board & Bread We started with the Butter Board ($14), served with toasted bread. The butter itself, whipped with ricotta, herbs, and what I believe was a honey drizzle, was absolutely delicious. My only note is that the bread edges were toasted a bit too dark for my taste, leaving a slightly burnt crust flavor and aroma. Entrées I ordered the Seared Scallops ($48), which were plated with white potatoes, purple potatoes (possibly ube), and sausage over a rich sauce. Unfortunately, the purple potatoes had a burnt taste that was off-putting, and I wasn't able to finish much of my meal. My husband, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed his Grilled Striped Bass ($48), beautifully plated and well-executed. Final Thoughts While my entree missed the mark this visit, Andrew's outstanding service and the overall ambience more than carried the experience. The space is gorgeous, the concept is lovely, and I can absolutely see returning when the seasonal menu refreshes. In my opinion, it's worth a second chance, we will be back.
