Before you walk into this place you know what you're getting into looking at the door. This joint is a good old hole in the wall bar that is not trying to impress you. The restaurant & bar is like a neighborhood bar; but much better, they also have Karaoke on 3 nights a week with the usual great and not so great of singers! My husband and I wanted to check this place out as we are looking for a fun place to do karaoke. It was really busy but we sat ourselves at a booth and only waited 5 minutes for someone to get us a menu. The bar could use an update as the furniture in general was dated and the seats of the booth are frayed. But the place looked clean. The waitress was really busy but we did get to order fairly quickly. I ordered a pina colada but they were out of mix. The waitress was apologetic and nice about it. My husband got a patron and I got a water. We didn't stay long and the waitress was quick about bringing us the check. No one was rude or mean to us, but it was not my scene and I felt somewhat out of place there. I think if you're looking for a hole-in-the-wall sports bar/kind of country vibe with lots of regulars, you'll like this place. We ended up at level up in downtown and had a great time. read more

I don't like they run their karaoke. New singers should be put at the bottom of the rotation not in between the patrons that were there before them. We come as a group and like to sing after each other so we can leave together. You come later you go to the bottom of the rotation. Will not go there until things change. This is our go to spot when it comes to decent priced happy hour and food. The last 4 times we have gone the wait time for the food is absurd. It shouldn't take 30+ minutes for tots to come out. We just went again tonight and after waiting 30 + minutes for our food to come out we asked how much longer it would be. The server checked just to say the cook hasn't even started on our food yet. We're a family.. if you come here just know you're in good hands and someone always will have your back.. The food is bomb! The garlic Parmesan wings, crispy chicken salad and the mushroom Swiss burger are my go to favorites. This older gentlemen 70-80 a regular went from complementing my gf and I to being disrespectful to me and very inappropriate and aggressive with her and wouldn't take the hint from her, me or his friend. we ended up leaving very abruptly after he wouldn't stop. So i used to live across the street and never even realized it was here! That was years ago. Last couple years ive stopped by a few times for karaoke on thursday nights and then saturdays. Thursday nights blow. The couple that run karaoke are a very much older couple that run it very old school like. They are older so they dont relate to the young crowd. Which means Thursday nights here are either dead, or looks like the set of a viagra commercial. If you're older (you probably dont know what yelp is, but if you do) this is the spot for you. Cheap drinks and old people!!! Saturday nights hosts is a lot younger and as a overall host pretty damn good. Huge flaw is if his friends are there, you will sing a song maybe once a hour. Between singing your songs you will watch his friends put on a concert and sing 2 or 3 to your 1. If youre not here for karaoke, it'll be a fun night. Food is bland (again, I think they cater to old people). No flavors, no seasoning, sometimes burnt, 99% BLAND. Do yourself a favor, eat before you come. I just love this old Bar! It is such unassuming kind of bar, Karaoke is fun, the Staff and the people are very approachable! If you are looking for a perfect Bar, don't bother. These are human beings not afraid to be themselves. It is perfect for me. I had been feeling socially isolated for a long time, so this place was just what the Doctor ordered! I am glad to make this place my second home. I don't drink for the most part, I have to drive, so I drink water, sing Karaoke, mingle, and pay the Bar Tender $5. This was my 1st time here, and even though I couldn't chill and eat/drink because of everything that is going on right now, I ordered take out on one of their daily specials which was 2 beers and 20 wings for $20 best deal ever!! The wings were amazing, even after my drive home!! The beer was a bonus to the wings!! I can't wait to try their fish fry the next time I order. Hopefully they will be open for full service soon.....would love to go to one of the karaoke nights with my girls!! DO NOT ORDER THE GREEN CHILIE BURGER Horrible, I understand not getting my patty medium like asked at a sports bar BUT the green Chile's are canned so they are diced. So much was put on that my burger was mushy. I've never had a mushy burger before so YUCK. read more
