The servers know us, everyone is friendly, and the service is always welcoming. There are so many menu items we love that the hardest part is honestly deciding what to order. Everything we've had has been delicious! You have good supervisors, strong upper management, servers who genuinely seem to care, and cooks who consistently deliver. Whatever the secret sauce is behind the scenes, they've figured it out. It's rare to find a place that consistently gets so many things right, but this location does. First of all, the service really made the experience memorable. Our server, Jessica (Jess), acknowledged and greeted us quickly, checked on us periodically and handled anything we needed gracefully (for example, drink refills, more napkins, etc.), and her personality was engaging. She was a lot of fun, guided us through the menu, and overall just made the experience memorable. My wife has a gluten allergy and Hub Grill and Bar not only offers a much more extensive set of options than most restaurants, but menu items that are really hard to find in GF versions - like fish n chips and fried chicken items, not just the gluten-free or gluten-friendly items that are naturally GF like proteins and rice. This place deserves a lot of credit just the selection of GF items, but they actually execute on delivering delicious tasting GF items! And they even have a dedicated fryer. I tried her gluten-free Hub Fried Chicken and I wouldn't have even noticed it was GF if I hadn't known in advance. They manage to make a great tasting GF breading that doesn't fall right off the chicken. And the chicken itself is moist and tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. French fries were also crispy, hot, and tasty!The wings (cooked in the dedicated fryer, a total bonus) really are what everyone raves about. I forgot to mention before now that the portions are sizable and you really get your money's worth here. I think it was two or three nice big pieces of fish let alone fries, slaw, and bread! A lot of restaurants offer MAYBE two pieces and sometimes even one for their fish n chips. Hub's was two or three big pieces (they are more flat like a cutlet than the thick pieces you see sometimes but still, plenty of fish). And there are SO many more items we'd love to try here (the peanut butter and bacon burger, shaved ribeye sliders, and steak stroganoff just to name a few). Plus, the happy hour is great (and early - 2:12 PM, and we old people love our early happy hours!). We really are looking forward to our next visit. We ordered the nachos appetizer and onion rings as a starter as we planned on spending a couple of hours to watch the game. We asked for some extra salsa and sour cream for our nachos. It arrived sloppy and dripping into the other. We have one person who doesn't like salsa but likes sour cream. It ruined that for us.
