They had a costume contest which was fun to see, just a little hard to hear the announcer say certain things. I think there were 2-3 bartenders who were dressed in cute costumes. I think for Halloween there should have been at least another bartender since there was a perpetual line to get drinks, but whatcha gonna do? I personally didn't get any drinks (I did my fair share of drinking the night before), but my friends got shots and beer and I don't remember the prices being too outrageous in this economy so well done for that. My group also played a couple rounds of darts which they had electronic versions that kept score for you on screens. Good company, good vibes. Would definitely hit this place up more if I lived closer.

Some of the best food comes from dive bars, but un not this place. One of the stars is for the service. Our server was super sweet & personable. She did a good job for what she was dealing with. It's a large place & there were only 2 servers. Hubby got his favorite beer on draft. That's where the other star comes from. The beer was good & it was ice cold. I had Tito's & cranberry juice tall. It was a weak pour. Normally after 2 tall there is no way I would drive. But after 2 I was totally fine. We started With the breaded mushrooms. When they came out the first time, they were not hot & the middle was so cold it was a step above frozen. We let our server know. She apologized & took them back. The next time they were hot & cooked in the middle. We both enjoyed them. Hubby got a Rueben sandwich & fries. He said the sandwich was okay, it was most likely Boars head deli meat. His fries were way undercooked. I got the cheesy Mac. It was not good. I took 2 bites & pushed it aside. It has jalapeños in the sauce. I don't like jalapeños. Trivia starts at 630 and they have happy hour specials until 7. I'm so happy to see they had a French dip on the menu, mg fav. Their version of the French dip was pretty good imo. It was stacked with meat and the served it with a good serving of Au Jus. We also tried the cowboy burger with curly fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and the patty was big and juicy :). Both of the sides of fries (steak and curly) were delicious and perfectly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. I would totally come back for some trivia and food again.

I was disappointed. Talked this place up to a new employee I'm training and we decided to get a drink. I suggested Good Time Charlie's because I've had great times here but tonight I did not experience that. The service was fabulous. The 2 ladies behind the bar were wonderful. My problem was the band. The band was SO LOUD. They only played one kind of music and I understand some. SOME being the key word,(like 6 people) people there enjoying it but even the girls behind the bar were sick of it... we asked. Having a band that only plays one kind of music on a Saturday night is crazy We asked if they'd take a request and they rudely denied us. Refused. Don't get me wrong I love the culture in Arizona, especially the Mexican culture, but on a Saturday night after work I don't want to be inundated with only heavy trumpets. The bar was pretty empty. Most people were sitting outside. We decided to leave because it became overwhelming. Love this place, but I'd suggest the owners change up the entertainment on the weekends.
