Always a go to date night for my girlfriend and I, vibes are always 10/10 regardless of which location you head to, always something interesting to look at and analyze. Every single pasty I've tried have been such a home run. I make it a mission to get a new one every time I come and never once have I been disappointed. The dessert is great, the beer is great and there's happy hour deals so make sure to take advantage of those. Overall this place is great, great staff, great food, great music, all great

Cornish Pasty is always a great choice!! I love the dark, moody vibes of this particular restaurant. The tables and bar are so interesting! Our servers were great! Fantastic, attentive service. This go around I got the chicken tikka masala but I really want the Pilgrim but they were out!! I knocked a star off for not having some of my choices available on a Friday evening around 4 pm. They do sell out of their pasties and it can take awhile to get food if they are busy. But it is worth the wait. My daughter enjoyed the peanut butter and jelly pasty as well - her critique: too much jelly! But I thought it was pretty good! Make sure you give Cornish Pasty a try!

Food is good, service was completely rude. Ambiance is perfect for the emo lover but go elsewhere if you're not into alt rock. Also make sure you call ahead for what you want if you have your heart set on a specific pasty. I'd also just get drinks elsewhere - the staff don't seem friendly when asked about drinks they can do off menu.

Wanted a late night meal, so my friend and I stopped here. While I normally love their pasties, I wasn't a big fan of the ones we got this time: rosemary steak and the royale with cheese. I should've stuck with my favorite: lovely bit of salmon. If I had gone earlier in the evening, I probably would've chosen other favorites like the bangers and mash or the shepherds pie. The service was top notch though. The oven chips were okay...nothing super special about them. The server was great though. He was friendly and on top of it. It wasn't too crowded and had a chill vibe that late. I'd still go back especially for the bread pudding that I didn't get this last time.

Glad this place was open. I think I've only been here once before many years ago. I got the hamburger or cheeseburger pasty (I don't remember the name), my friend got some pasty with steak. We also got loaded fries (mediocre). When they brought our plates out, the same guy who took our order, also handed us our food. Mine looked weird, and has SO MANY tomatoes in it. I didn't enjoy it at all... turns out the guy handed us the wrong plates, and by this time my appetite was already spoiled. This place wasn't busy at all, actually it was near dead. So it was mind boggling that the waiter didn't hand us the correct orders and had no attention to detail. We grabbed an order to go for the kiddo. While the ambience of this place was really nice, everything else was mediocre at best. Not sure if I'd try again

If you haven't been to Cornish Pasty yet, this is your sign to go!! I've been a couple times and now that I live in CA, I recently had the chance to visit again. Service is attentive, friendly and helpful with getting drinks going, filling waters, checking up on you, taking orders and answering any questions. Plenty of tables inside and a nice outdoor dining as well. For food, I ordered one of my favorites, the chicken pot pie pasty and it comes with a gravy sauce on the side 10/10. Don't skip dessert!! The sticky toffee pudding is quite literally one of the best desserts I've had. You won't be disappointed! Great place to yap with friends, have a date night, play pool, happy hour, and enjoy great food!

Wonderful food with a great calming atmosphere, perfect for a date or intimate gathering with friends. I have gone many times and you can honestly not go wrong with anything you order. Also fantastic service!!!

Cornish Pasty is one of the few places open late. It's reliable and offers the best comfort food when it's been a long day. We've always had great service here too! They make it so easy to split a check too if needed with a group of 6! My favorite pasty here is The Pilgrim pasty. It's Thanksgiving in a pasty! Turkey, sweet potato, and stuffing are all baked with in pasty and served with cranberry sauce and gravy. I know it was just Thanksgiving but since it's my favorite, I ordered it again anyway!

We've been here a few times with friends and family and love it every time! The ambiance inside is unique and I enjoy the dim lighting and darker interior. The service was ok. They just took our order. The pasties are always good and there hasn't been a bad one. All of the sauces that come with the pasties and appetizers are very good. The scotch eggs in the past have been good, but a bit bland. We ordered the meatballs wrapped in bacon this time and everyone enjoyed them. They were flavorful and not dry. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Cornish is always great. The only thing I'd say about this location is that it is not a quick lunch spot. If you want something quick- go elsewhere. It's usually just one or maybe two guys working and it takes a while to get everything out. If you have time to have a beer, shoot pool, and relax, though, this is your spot. The food is always delicious, and I love the variety as well as the large selection of beer on tap.

My family enjoys going out for pasties because they are not something you can easily make at home. Cornish Pasty is great because they have a vast menu with a large variety of interesting choices. Unfortunately for my husband, they are often out of his first choice option though so you can't be guaranteed to get what you want. The pasties come out hot and it's basically a meal enrobed in dough. I would rate them higher except I feel their prices are steep compared to another pasty place I purchase from. An entree here averages around $18 and their fountain drink price is high at $4. The pasty combinations they offer are interesting and tasty though. I had the rosemary steak this last time and enjoyed the combination of brie, roasted red peppers, roasted red potatoes, rosemary and steak with a mustard cream sauce. They do a good job being innovative here so that's probably partly what you're paying for. We enjoy coming in occasionally.

Even though it seemed like they were a little short staff our waitress was pretty attentive. I ordered the Guinness Pastie and an order of the oven chips which both were both good.. I defin do like the atmosphere in here. The Mother Cali creamin was really good and refreshing

I came to the Cornish Pasty with my sister and mother. When we arrived it was quite dark but elegant. The food served was delicious, a definite 10/10. When I ran out of gravy our amazing server René was really helpful. He (and all the other waiters) were kind and welcoming. I felt at ease with my family at our high top. I also watched some girls playing pool at the at the two pool tables near the back of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend coming here for a good dinner and a great time!

Reservations were easy to make online and were confirmed quickly but beware that your confirmation email might get filtered into your spam folder which is what happened to mine. Our table was ready and waiting for us. We had the afternoon tea for three which included a varied selection of finger sandwiches, sweet treats, and scones. Two pots of tea are included and we chose the pudding tea and the gingerbread tea. Both teas were delicious and the gingerbread tea was nice in that it's caffeine free. All the food selections were fresh and fantastic. I would venture to say that I liked the food selections even more than at the previous location! While this new spot isn't as lavish as the golf resort it was previously at, the interior is still charming. Service was very friendly and we were checked on as needed.

Dear Mark C., I…read morefound the Quirky Royal Tea Room on YELP, however I pray that the commumity won't risk their health by eating at your restaurant. I came to your so called Tea Room on Dec. 14, 2025, with two of my dear friends to celebrate a birthday. It started out with us having a terrible time just finding your location. There is absolutely no signage on your store front and its very apparent that you must be struggling, due to your choice of being in a very run down strip mall. You say on your Yelp site that your Tea Room is classy, however, what we walked into was not the case at all. I would say it's very "tacky ". And, what is very interesting is that most of the pictures on the Yelp app. are a misrepresentation of your Tea Room. It doesn't look anything like where we were expecting. Except, for the pictures with the pink walls. What a disappointment for my myself and my friends birthday celebration. The food appeard to be all store bought, even though you say you have a baker on site. That is really hard to believe, based on what we experienced. The tea wasn't even warm and and what else surprised me was that the napkins were paper and the water cups were plastic. Yet, here's the aweful part, we had to rush one of my friends to the hospital. Approximately half-way through our meal, one of my friends had to be rushed away due to a sudden and horrible stomach ache, severe pains, a complete loss of facial color, and she could no longer sit in her chair. All she wanted to do was to lay down. We almost called 911, not knowing what was happening. It was that bad. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, she was diagnosed by an emergency room doctor with a case of food poisoning. It was confirmed that she hadn't eaten anything so far that day, except the food items at the Tea Room. She ultimately had a stomach ache and cramps for almost a week, following this incident. Just a few days later, our birthday girl also went to the hospital ER with stomach cramps, and ultimately had to spend 3 days in the hospital herself. In a later conversation between the 3 of us, we recalled that two us had in fact eaten the same lunch meat sandwiches. I did not eat these sandwiches and never felt these ill symptoms. Once my friends felt better, we went to talk to yourself, since you were confirmed to be the manager in charge. We made you aware, Mark C., that we in fact had documentation from the ER doctor that our friend had food poisoning from her only meal that day. Upon presenting our situation with Mark C. in a very calm and polite manner, explaining to him our experience that particular day, we simply wanted him to refund our $130 spent for that meal that day. At this moment in time, she hadn't even mentioned the cost for the ER hospital visit. It was only our intention to recover the cost of the meal. Shortly after our initial meeting with Mark, he became very rude to us. He kept insisting that there is no way she could have received food poisoning from this restaurant, saying that it takes a full 24 hours for symptoms to occur. In doing some research, this is what I found: "Food poisoning can strike from as quickly as 30 minutes (like with Staphylococcus aureus toxins) to several days or even weeks later (like Listeria or Cyclospora), depending on the germ or toxin, with common bacteria like Salmonella or E. coli often causing symptoms within hours to a couple of days. Viruses like Norovirus usually appear within 12-48 hours". Shortly after, in the same conversation, Mark told us to take him to court, to which we were very shocked that a manager and business owner would respond to us in the manner. It was at this time that we suggested we may report him to the Board of Health and let them sort this out. We simply wanted our money back and then we would then leave without so much nonsense. There absolutely was no bargaining with you Mark C, or the big words you seem to like to throw around like extortion and blackmail. All over $130. Shame on this man!

They don't have a large variety of choices like the "famous" pasty restaurant in town - they offer about ten here while the famous place has more than four times as many. Please note that Sonsons are about half the price though which certainly pleases me. I've bought pasties like the Cornish Cheezy (ground beef, sausage, cheese, garlic herb sauce), the Steak + Cheese (steak, cheese, potato, rutabaga, onion), or the Chicken Green Chili (chicken, potato, cheese, green chili.) All have been excellent but my favorite of all is the Cornish Cheezy. I highly recommend throwing in some extra gravy for either .50 or $1. We take ours home and bake them for dinner. You can also buy them frozen. The other option is to eat there at one of the small tables they have but honestly, it's not really a restaurant vibe here. Good variety of pasties on their menu and they also offer frozen and gluten free pasties. I ordered the traditional steak and cheesy wheezy. Diane asked if I wanted them warmed up, even though I was taking it to go, yes I do! 25 min later they were still warm when I got home! Yay! The pasties come with a delicious gravy but I grew up eating them with ketchup. The pasties had a good amount of tasty filling and the crust is more on the flaky thin side. I enjoyed both though the cheesy wheezy is supposed to have two kinds of cheese in it but I didn't taste or see any? Where else to go but to a pub! We arrived at 6:40 in the evening and seated ourselves as is the custom. While many of the tables are hightops, we chose a regular table off to the side. First was an appetizer of Curried Chips along with NA Guinness to wash it down. The chips were like mashed potatoes in the center and crispy on the outside. Along with the authentic curry to dip them in, it was deliciousness on a plate. On to the main dishes. Companion ordered Bangers and Mash. Excellent tasting sausages served over mashed potatoes in traditional style. Companion loved it but was unable to finish it. For myself, I had my Fish and Chips that I was craving. 2 large pieces of cod perfectly fried in a beer batter coating. Served over a pile of perfect chips and accompanied by malt vinegar I was back in the U.K. Only problem was that it was served with a side of English peas instead of mushy peas like one would get overseas, but one can't be too choosy. Of course, we had to have dessert. There is always room for dessert! Companion ordered Toffee Pudding with Hot Custard sauce and I ordered the Bread Pudding. The toffee was chewy and sticky as it should be and the hot custard sauce added just the right touch. My bread pudding was in dense slices as is proper in the U.K.. I stole some of companions Hot Custard to put on it and it was wonderful. This was an excellent dinner which brought back memories of pubs in the U.K. The only thing missing off the menu was a Ploughman's Lunch, but not enough people would order it I think. We continue to be impressed by both the quality and creativity of their food. On this visit, I ordered The Pilgrim, which is essentially Thanksgiving dinner wrapped inside a pasty. It features turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, and gravy. It arrived absolutely piping hot--seriously, give it a few minutes before taking that first bite--but once it cooled down, it was phenomenal. The combination of flavors was comforting and satisfying, and a little cranberry sauce with each bite provided the perfect balance. My only minor critique would be that the ingredients could have been distributed a bit more evenly throughout the pasty. I also found the gravy slightly more peppery than expected, occasionally overshadowing the stuffing, sweet potatoes, and turkey. Even so, this has become my favorite pasty at Cornish Pasty Co. We also tried the Peppered Steak pasty, which features sirloin, portobello mushrooms, leeks, zucchini, Stilton bleu cheese, and a peppercorn brandy cream sauce. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, especially the steak and the wonderfully flaky crust. For my personal taste, the peppercorn brandy cream sauce was a little more prominent than I prefer, and I found myself wanting more of the steak, mushroom, and Stilton flavors to come through. That's simply a matter of preference, though--it was still a well-executed dish made with quality ingredients. One thing Cornish Pasty Co. consistently gets right is the crust. Every pasty we've had has been flaky, flavorful, and substantial without feeling heavy. This wasn't our first experience with their menu. Over the years we've thoroughly enjoyed the Tikka Masala, the Lamb & Mint (which was a genuine "wow" dish), and the Royale. Those are all excellent choices, but after this visit, The Pilgrim has moved to the top of my personal rankings. Our two pasties came in under $20 each, making for a filling and satisfying meal at a reasonable price. We ordered takeout, and while there was a bit of a wait after we arrived, it's worth noting that these are made-to-order pasties, not fast food. Even though we only ordered a few minutes before arriving, the quality was well worth the extra time. My biggest criticism has nothing to do with the food. While waiting, my wife and I sat inside briefly, and we found the music extremely loud. During our visit, the restaurant was playing Silth, a progressive metalcore band. Musical tastes are obviously subjective, but the combination of the style and volume made conversation difficult for us. My wife eventually decided to wait in the car because it was simply too loud. The restaurant clearly aims for a lively pub atmosphere, with games available and a diverse mix of patrons enjoying themselves, so many people may appreciate that environment. It just wasn't a great fit for us. That said, the food is outstanding, the portions are generous, and we'll absolutely be back. We'll probably continue ordering takeout, but that's a reflection of our personal preferences rather than any issue with the restaurant itself. If you're looking for creative, well-made pasties with high-quality ingredients, Cornish Pasty Co. is definitely worth a visit.

Daniel is the genius behind the pastys! My favorite is the chilly burger, and honestly the Parliament wings. All in all this is a Bar Resturant that does not feel like a chain. Their bar selection is vast with tons of beers on tap and various bottles/cans available. While it is always pretty busy, there's always a spot to sit, and the service staff is on top of their game. The location has two floors, an upstairs bar and downstairs, and pool tables/dart boards on each level as well. The vibe is very cool, with plants and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. If you want more of a dark and mysterious vibe, head upstairs. If you like it a little more spacious, downstairs is your place! If you haven't had a pasty before, you are missing out on an exquisite dining experience. Whether you use a fork and knife or eat it as a proper hand pie, you'll love it. I am particularly fond of the chicken pot pie.

Today, I was walking near my office and came across the Downtown Phoenix location of Cornish Pasty. I enjoyed a tasty lunch with good service, and I am already looking forward to heading back there. When I approached the restaurant from the corner of Central and Monroe, it wasn't clear which door was the door I should enter though it seems like any door off Monroe or Central is just fine. There were limited number of tables plus the bar, and I was delighted to see a small table available. I was eating on my own with a book, and I was quickly greeted by one of several team members who stopped by my table over my lunch hour. I asked a few questions about three options, and I decided upon the Chicken Pot Pie Signature Pasty consisting of chicken, carrots, red potato, green beans, celery, and onion with rosemary. There was also chicken gravy on the side. Everything about the dish was delicious! I would consider ordering this again as I enjoyed it so much; however, I may want to try something else next time. There are so many options! I did learn though that you cannot substitute most options in the pasties. Visit the Cornish Pasty website at https://www.cornishpastyco.com. On the website is the history of the Cornish pasty, information about all 11 locations (of which 9 are in Arizona), menus, a photo gallery, catering options, contact form, employment options, online ordering, and gift cards. The menu consists of their signature pasties and premium pasties though they also list vegan and vegetarian pasties, salads, appetizers and soups, sides, desserts, and drinks. While the Scottsdale and Tempe locations appear larger than the Downtown Phoenix location, it was still comfortable and had similar positive customer service from staff. There are so few restaurants like the Cornish Pasty in the Phoenix area. I'd certainly recommend visiting any of the Cornish Pasty locations though for a positive experience Downtown, feel free to stop by. No reservations are needed. If you don't find a regular table available, feel free to stop at the bar and take a seat there. I look forward to returning back to the Cornish Pasty again soon. Yum!

Im not much of a beer drinker so I am not familiar w the sizes or names- I seem to only enjoy it in AZ because it's hot as hell for summer and I am not sure if the menu goes up after 630pm, but I was having a good time and I didn't want to make a big deal about it because it was a lot of people at the bar top, but def keep things consistent with what the menu says or update it accordingly with pricing. The soup was amazing! I had the chicken and bean soup- super flavorful and nicely seasoned! The bread that accompanied it was so filling, I left with a tummy ache from being overstuffed haha. Decline the bread in the future if you're watching your weight or counting carbs or only ask for one slice. It is thicccccck and probably should be shared or saved for later lol! I took a few pieces and dipped it in and also shared with a coworker. I tasted two beers before deciding on this rainbow sherbet sour that tasted like an old school flinstone pushpop ice cream that was also rainbow sherbet or orange sherbet flavored. The vanilla blueberry beer I think had too much of a vanilla essence for me and I didn't care for the taste. Thanks for letting me taste the soup and two beers before deciding my fate. I had a great time here! Always the perfect vibes!
