    Bananas Foster French Toast
    Kendall N.

Went for breakfast on Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not crowded. We were seated immediately and got water quickly. I ordered the banana fosters French toast and my wife ordered the banana coconut crunch pancakes without coconut. The food took a while to come. Our server said there was a large to go order. Unfortunately when my food came out our server said they made my wife's order with the coconut but they were remaking it and it should be out in a few minutes. It was quite a while before it came out. He did give us a discount on her meal but I was finished before she started. The food all tasted good despite being late.

Visited T.C. Eggington's while in Mesa. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was busy but a bit cramped and awkwardly laid out, and the overall experience felt disorganized at the start, though service improved once it finally kicked in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had about a 15-minute wait to be seated, and then nearly another 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. In fact, I had to go back to the hostess stand to let them know no one had even greeted us yet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our table placement was also odd -- tucked into what felt like an alleyway-type spot with poor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Red Hot Mama Frittata, mainly for the chorizo, but it was difficult to find any real presence of it in the dish. Once service did begin, it was good and attentive, but by that point the early experience had already set the tone. Overall, nothing particularly memorable -- a one-and-done visit. Saluti.

I hadn't been here since I was a teenager and I stopped in when visiting Arizona last week. The food was great. Really enjoyed the red velvet waffles (which are gluten free!) We were seated right away and the service was attentive.

TC Eggington's is one of those places where the food, service, and atmosphere all align perfectly, which is likely why it's always packed and people keep coming back, like me. *Food: the menu is huge (seriously huge), with an incredible variety of options, and everything is consistently high-quality. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and dishes that actually taste as good as they look. I have a love hate relationship with trying new things, but here, you can't go wrong, everything is excellent and there's no regrets changing it up occasionally, you'll find many favorites. Check out the pics of our 3 items. *Service: service is excellent across the board. Friendly, prompt, attentive, and exactly what you want in a busy breakfast spot without feeling pushy or rushed. Even when the place is slammed, they keep things moving without making you feel rushed. *Atmosphere: [[HIGHLIGHT]]The feeling once seared is warm and comfortable, definitely bustling, but not chaotic, and it feels like one of those local gems you can count on to "feel good" every single time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You'll likely have to wait for a table, especially on weekends, but the food is worth it. I do have one significant complaint: [[HIGHLIGHT]]there simply aren't enough restrooms. They have a single-person bathroom for a restaurant that can easily hold 100+ people. When they're busy (and they usually are), it becomes a real bottleneck, or a real blocker when you need a facility.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It doesn't ruin the experience, but it's noticeable, so plan ahead if you're "regular",...can't believe I just write that in a review :-) *Overall: excellent food, excellent service, huge menu, consistent quality, and a comfortable atmosphere. You'll wait for a table and if you don't time it right you'll wait for the bathroom, but everything else hits the mark. Absolutely love this place.

T.C. Eggington's is a fantastic breakfast and lunch spot in Mesa. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food, service, and updated atmosphere all make it well worth a visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Country Fried Chicken with scrambled eggs and potatoes, and everything was cooked perfectly. The gravy on the country fried steak was especially good--rich, flavorful, and just the right consistency. The potatoes were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned well. Overall, a great breakfast that felt hearty and satisfying. Prices were totally fair and comparable to other local breakfast places, especially considering the quality and portion size. They also have a wide variety of options to choose from--omelets, skillets, pancakes, sandwiches, eggs benedict, and more. There's something on the menu for everyone, whether you're in the mood for savory or sweet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They recently did a remodel inside, and it looks great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space feels fresh, clean, and updated while still keeping that cozy breakfast vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a comfortable and welcoming place to sit down and enjoy a meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a go-to spot for breakfast or brunch in Mesa. I'll be coming back to try more from the menu.

    Candied bacon
    Sandra H.

Came for breakfast and tried their candied sweet and spice bacon omg was that so delicious probably my favorite thing. My best friend and I each got the eggs Benedict she got the farmer and I got the classic. And we shared both. One thing I noticed is the hollandaise sauce gets lost idk why I just did not really taste it and hollandaise sauce is one of my favorite things on a Benedict. The home fries did not seem to have any seasoning so just some potatoes. Brandon was friendly and our order came quickly . The rest of the staff was also friendly and overall we did enjoy our time

Best damn breakfast burger, fries, n fresh coffee!!

The foods HOT FRESH and DELICIOUS! They always have great ideas and suggestions if you're not totally sure what you want or even " need" I've NEVER been steered wrong :) [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can't believe I've been going there 6+ years and how many of the staff have staid there, they've REALLY got it set for success with 5 seating areas, I enjoy the atmosphere because it reminds me of how times use to be, more simple and refined.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Continue your amazingness everyone!

Another Delicious Brunch find, T.C. Eggington's is coming up on almost 40 years in business. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Newly remodeled and ready to welcome you all in with some exciting new menu items.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Spacious dining room seating and excellent customer service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was hot & fresh, great quality and presentation. Definitely worth checking out.

Croquet Monsieur was delish! (Ask for more sauce on the side)
    Dee B.

Excellent friendly service. We were greeted right away with a warm smile and asked if we visited before and since we just moved to the state we had not! Our server arrived to our table immediately noted that she was told that it was our first time and "welcome!"This says a lot about the attentiveness of the staff at this location in Mesa. The coffee is good and OJ is served in a tall glass! Husband found finally found a place that has black olives for his omelette! The omelette is awesome. I saw some yelpers did not eat the potatoes and I was hesitant to try them because I thought they were dehydrated, but they are delicious with nice crisp edges and they were very well seasoned. Croquet Monsieur Had generous portions of ham and is well made. Having been to France and Paris, I was expecting the sauce to be on top, but found it underneath just on top of the generous portion of French bread. The sauce was tasty, but it would've liked more of it, but the amount was perfect for most peoples tastes. I think I'll ask for a little sauce on the side next time to pour over it!! All in all, I had to MAKE myself STOP eating the delicious generous portion size. (I stopped at like 2 bites left!) The French bread was so delicious and so fresh ! The apple jelly is THE BEST IVE EVER HAD!!!

    The key

Gotta drop it down a star. The 1st time I went the coffee was not good. I didn't hold it against them, it wasn't really high up on my priority list. But I went again today and both me and my wife noticed the coffee was terrible again. It tastes like, like weeks coffee mixed in with this week and they never cleaned the coffee makers, like ever. I'm not a coffee snob. I love diner coffee. But this is bad. Again the food was good. I had the fluffy krabby Benedict and it was delicious. My wife had the full mess and loved it. Food is really good! Staff was friendly and good! No notes on staff. Perfection.

    Fiesta Breakfast Tacos

Went here for breakfast on Sunday and I was pleasantly surprised by how great this food was. I ordered the breakfast tacos because they're unique but did not expect them to be so flavorful. My wife had red velvet waffles and those were delicious as well. Best breakfast place we've had in a long time

Stopped in for a quick breakfast cuz it was near my Airbnb and looked good. I definitely got in before the Sunday breakfast crowd so I got seated and served quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very cute on the inside, plenty of parking outside and a patio![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My server was great! I loved my country fried steak plate, so filling and just what i wanted! I would definitely go back if I'm in the area !

Are small dogs allowed on the patio?

I just phoned TC Eggington's (4-26-26) and they confirmed that small dogs are indeed allowed on their outdoor patio only, not allowed inside.

Does anyone have an Eggington's biscuits and gravy copy cat recipe you'd be willing to share? I might have to fly here from California just for this.

    then fly over LOL.
