8/8/26: the candied bacon alone is worth a revisit. Food: hot, fresh, delicious, and good portions. We ordered the sugar & spiced candied bacon, cinnamon roll, chocolate walnut pie, pear omelet, and red velvet waffles. All of it very good, especially that pie & the candied bacon! Service: our server, Dominic, was wonderful. He came over quickly, took our order, repeated our order, and constantly kept checking back with us to see how things were going. He was cheery, talkative, and very friendly. Ambiance: a large place with plenty of seating, with seating for a wide range of parties, from two people to 10 -- but we weren't packed in like in sardines. The only critique is that the waiting area is limited. We arrived for a late breakfast, around 11 a.m. There were already a few people waiting to be seated so it was standing room only. There were a couple benches outside but it was too dang hot outside -- and though it looked like there were misters, they were not on. Parking: lots of it.
Horrible experience today... Ordered an omelet with avocado, jalapenos and potatoes on the side. Potatoes weren't thoroughly cooked, the eggs were cold and the avocado was as black as charcoal.... The view sickened me to the core and I had to throw my meal away. Waste of money, time and a watering mouth!
Visited T.C. Eggington's while in Mesa. The atmosphere was busy but a bit cramped and awkwardly laid out, and the overall experience felt disorganized at the start, though service improved once it finally kicked in. We had about a 15-minute wait to be seated, and then nearly another 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. In fact, I had to go back to the hostess stand to let them know no one had even greeted us yet. Our table placement was also odd -- tucked into what felt like an alleyway-type spot with poor seating. I ordered the Red Hot Mama Frittata, mainly for the chorizo, but it was difficult to find any real presence of it in the dish. Once service did begin, it was good and attentive, but by that point the early experience had already set the tone. Overall, nothing particularly memorable -- a one-and-done visit. Saluti.
Clean location with friendly service. Raspberry mocha was so delicious and it was difficult not to chug it. Duo eggs Benedict lets you choose two flavors!!! Never experienced that and it has always been a dream to. Chilaquiles was just ok. A very nice experience while visiting this state, thank you!
SENTRY - WATCHING RESTAURANTS Eggingtons 1660 E. Alma School Road Mesa, 85202 Companion and I have a ritual. Every time we have to go give blood for our doctors tests we go out for breakfast. We chose this establishment this time as we had been taken to breakfast here a number of years ago. Since I will never accept a free meal, I could not write about the previous visit since someone else paid for it. We were seated immediately and drink orders were taken. Companion had coffee and I asked for tea. Unfortunately, they have a large assortment of teas, but no Earl Grey. How unusual as almost every restaurant has Earl Grey available, so I had to settle for English Breakfast tea. The tea was good, but they don't have Splenda as a sweetener. Were they out of it I asked? No, they choose to carry Stevia (which I am allergic to) and Saccharin, which is bitter tasting to me along with sugar. So, as a diabetic I have no artificial sweetener that I can use. My tea remained plain. For breakfast companion ordered candied bacon and a caramel waffle. The candied bacon got a thumbs up but the caramel waffle got a thumbs down. Companion said that the waffle would never be ordered again with the caramel but might be ok plain. I ordered biscuits and gravy. As a reviewer who has done this for more than 20 years, I think I know exactly what biscuits and gravy should be like. The biscuits were undercooked and the gravy reminded me of wallpaper paste. Since the biscuits were inedible I scraped the gravy off the top and seasoned it heavily with pepper and salt to give it some flavor. An altogether terrible breakfast. I'd normally have sent this back for something else, but our server was nowhere to be found until the bill came. An item on the bill caught my eye. Coffee and tea are charged at $4.29. Having grown up when coffee was 10 cents I found this to be exorbitant. Even is some of the fanciest restaurants I have eaten in where the bill was over $300 I have never been charged this much for a cup of tea or a cup of coffee. Try as hard as I might, I cannot give more than 2 stars.
Went for breakfast on Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not crowded. We were seated immediately and got water quickly. I ordered the banana fosters French toast and my wife ordered the banana coconut crunch pancakes without coconut. The food took a while to come. Our server said there was a large to go order. Unfortunately when my food came out our server said they made my wife's order with the coconut but they were remaking it and it should be out in a few minutes. It was quite a while before it came out. He did give us a discount on her meal but I was finished before she started. The food all tasted good despite being late.
The food was really good. The whole ambiance was nice. The sever was exceptional and very attentive. We received our food at a timely manner.
TC Eggington's is one of those places where the food, service, and atmosphere all align perfectly, which is likely why it's always packed and people keep coming back, like me. *Food: the menu is huge (seriously huge), with an incredible variety of options, and everything is consistently high-quality. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and dishes that actually taste as good as they look. I have a love hate relationship with trying new things, but here, you can't go wrong, everything is excellent and there's no regrets changing it up occasionally, you'll find many favorites. Check out the pics of our 3 items. *Service: service is excellent across the board. Friendly, prompt, attentive, and exactly what you want in a busy breakfast spot without feeling pushy or rushed. Even when the place is slammed, they keep things moving without making you feel rushed. *Atmosphere: The feeling once seared is warm and comfortable, definitely bustling, but not chaotic, and it feels like one of those local gems you can count on to "feel good" every single time. You'll likely have to wait for a table, especially on weekends, but the food is worth it. I do have one significant complaint: there simply aren't enough restrooms. They have a single-person bathroom for a restaurant that can easily hold 100+ people. When they're busy (and they usually are), it becomes a real bottleneck, or a real blocker when you need a facility. It doesn't ruin the experience, but it's noticeable, so plan ahead if you're "regular",...can't believe I just write that in a review :-) *Overall: excellent food, excellent service, huge menu, consistent quality, and a comfortable atmosphere. You'll wait for a table and if you don't time it right you'll wait for the bathroom, but everything else hits the mark. Absolutely love this place.
T.C. Eggington's is a fantastic breakfast and lunch spot in Mesa. The food, service, and updated atmosphere all make it well worth a visit. I ordered the Country Fried Chicken with scrambled eggs and potatoes, and everything was cooked perfectly. The gravy on the country fried steak was especially good--rich, flavorful, and just the right consistency. The potatoes were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned well. Overall, a great breakfast that felt hearty and satisfying. Prices were totally fair and comparable to other local breakfast places, especially considering the quality and portion size. They also have a wide variety of options to choose from--omelets, skillets, pancakes, sandwiches, eggs benedict, and more. There's something on the menu for everyone, whether you're in the mood for savory or sweet. They recently did a remodel inside, and it looks great. The space feels fresh, clean, and updated while still keeping that cozy breakfast vibe. It's a comfortable and welcoming place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Definitely a go-to spot for breakfast or brunch in Mesa. I'll be coming back to try more from the menu.
Came for breakfast and tried their candied sweet and spice bacon omg was that so delicious probably my favorite thing. My best friend and I each got the eggs Benedict she got the farmer and I got the classic. And we shared both. One thing I noticed is the hollandaise sauce gets lost idk why I just did not really taste it and hollandaise sauce is one of my favorite things on a Benedict. The home fries did not seem to have any seasoning so just some potatoes. Brandon was friendly and our order came quickly . The rest of the staff was also friendly and overall we did enjoy our time
I hadn't been here since I was a teenager and I stopped in when visiting Arizona last week. The food was great. Really enjoyed the red velvet waffles (which are gluten free!) We were seated right away and the service was attentive.
Another Delicious Brunch find, T.C. Eggington's is coming up on almost 40 years in business. Newly remodeled and ready to welcome you all in with some exciting new menu items. Spacious dining room seating and excellent customer service. The food was hot & fresh, great quality and presentation. Definitely worth checking out.
The foods HOT FRESH and DELICIOUS! They always have great ideas and suggestions if you're not totally sure what you want or even " need" I've NEVER been steered wrong :) Can't believe I've been going there 6+ years and how many of the staff have staid there, they've REALLY got it set for success with 5 seating areas, I enjoy the atmosphere because it reminds me of how times use to be, more simple and refined. Continue your amazingness everyone!

This has been my family's favorite breakfast restaurant for over 10 years. The freshest ingredients always!! They also have the best skillets, frittatas, pancakes and most important of all biscuits and gravy. It's the closest I've found to my grandmas biscuits and gravy and it is always amazing. The service is always top notch and they will always do whatever they can do to make sure you are happy with your order which I very much appreciate it. This location is always clean and has the best health scores which is so important to me. Thank you for being the best! read more

My friends and I went to T.C. Eggington's this weekend and it was fantastic!!! Chris was our server and he was beyond amazing - attentive, knowledgeable, and speedy. And the food was so wonderful! I had the Crack O Dawn skillet and it was everything I dreamed of and wish I could have it for breakfast every day. We were able to get extra spice (or not) for our bloody Mary's and that was great for our group bc some of us can't handle the heat and others seek it out. Thank you, Chris!! read more

Designed as a country cottage interior, TC Eggington's is a nice breakfast and brunch spot. Clean with country style furniture, menu is part traditional part original. Staff wears golf-type outfits which I am not certain how it blends with country cottage interior, but it does create a unique identity. Food wise it was mostly good. Kalamata and vegetable omelette was a wonderful surprise. Smoothie of spinach apple yogurt and banana was good although it could have been blended a bit better. My friend had burrito and stayed it was bit too dry. Staff and service were good. One thing I observed it was difficult to get recommendation from the server. Something I often do. All in all despite the criticism - it is a well above average restaurant!!! read more

Every time we have come here, we have absolutely loved it. I always get something different too. Their omelettes are fantastic and their waffles are gluten free. I have celiac so this is great for me, and not to mention you can't even tell the difference in taste! They are super fluffy. The staff is super nice and helpful and always makes sure we have everything we need, as well as brings us a big glass jug to refill our sodas whenever we please. The restaurant itself is super cute. We love coming here! read more

Family oriented brunch spot in Mesa. Brought my brother for brunch and this place has really large portion sizes. We asked for suggestions but were given the generic everything is good. My French toast was very filling, thick with cinnamon inside. The red velvet pancakes had a cream cheese frosting that was to die for. Great place to bring your kids as we saw several large families for families. read more
I've been wanting to try this place for some time, but there is always a wait on the weekends. I went on a Thursday, and even though we didn't have to wait, the restaurant was still pretty full. I ordered some pancakes and my boyfriend ordered a 2 egg breakfast. The pancakes are huge and delicious. Our server was amazing. He checked on us often. I'm glad I finally was able to try this place. read more

Tired of the "same ole'" we searched for a new breakfast spot on a Saturday morning and stumbled upon a hidden gem! We recently had the pleasure of dining at TC Eggington's in Mesa, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The menu is refreshingly unique, offering delicious options that go far beyond your standard breakfast and brunch fare. Everything we tried was incredibly fresh, with flavors that were both comforting and exciting. From the the real strawberry smoothie to the gluten free waffles and then onto the creative breakfast entree's we had a so much fun on this culinary journey! The portions are very generous, so be prepared to leave feeling completely satisfied. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a home-style charm that makes you feel right at ease. The staff were exceptionally attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Even the small details were perfect--clean bathrooms and plenty of parking made the experience all the more enjoyable. If you're looking for a place that serves up something different with great service and a cozy ambiance, TC Eggington's is definitely worth a visit! read more
TL;DR - This classic American breakfast eatery ditches the brunch frills for fast and friendly service, portion sizes that will ensure you have something to take home, and a vast array of classic breakfast offering including amazing GF waffles. My first trip to T.C. Eggington's was one to remember. This is a classic American breakfast establishment serving up all the classics with fast and friendly service. We arrived just before 11am on a Sunday and in the time I was holding the door open for a few exiting patrons my wife had already been seated by the time I got inside. We had drinks on the table no more than 3 minutes later and despite a decent sized food order it was on the table no more than 15min later at most. We walked out of there full and happy by 11:35 in and out in just over a half hour total. We got their gluten free classic waffle and their GF red velvet waffle. Both were delicious but the red velvet really scratched and itch for me. Their omelette offerings were vast including a BYO and their selection of cheeses was unmatched. All in all I was incredibly please with our experience and would highly recommend giving T.C. Eggington's a try, especially if you are GF and looking for a delicious waffle. The portions weren't skimpy and I can promise you won't leave hungry. read more
Came for the French toast, left wanting more. Ordered French toast with sausage and eggs. Although it looks great visually and in the pictures the food lacked quite a bit in flavor and the place lacked in ambiance. It is a decent place for breakfast but doesn't really stand out in any particular way. There was nothing bad about it but also nothing outstanding. The only word that comes to mind after this experience is ordinary. read more

Breakfast here with pals, you can't go wrong! This place has been in this location for years going strong. I'm am surprised it hasn't moved yet as the strip mall that it's located in, has struggled for years to keep businesses( other than bootbarn) If you go early before the rush,( usually before 10) you will be fine, otherwise, there will be a long wait time. The food is good and the staff are always so nice dressed up in golf like attire. It really feels like you're having breakfast at a golf resort more so, then anything else. I do recommend eating here as I've never had a bad experience. Our waitress was awesome with perfect timing on everything from refills to giving us the receipt. There's plenty of free parking and a great location next to the freeway and other restaurants ...and stores across the passover. Shout out to our wonderful waitress!!! She deserves a raise. (I feel bad that I didn't get her name). Going again soon as it is worth it! Prices are average as well read more

For the first time, we went to TC Eggington's on Alma School Rd prior to the baseball game in Mesa. This restaurant has high reviews and we decided to try it - nearby our hotel. Quick and easy to get in - staff was very friendly and we were seated right away ! We had Pumpkin Pancakes and the usual (2 eggs scrambled, bacon, hash browns, and toast). The food orders were very large and tasty !! Took us quick a while to eat - lot of food . Would definitely return again - maybe even this trip ! read more

I have mixed feelings about T.C. Eggington's. I ordered the English Toast with a French Flair ($10.45). The Foster's French interested me as well but this visit I wanted plain and simple French toast. The slices are so thick!! Simplicity at its best, it satiated my craving although I'm sure it would have tasted better fresh and eaten at the restaurant. For $10.45, however, I am accustomed to sides being included... hash browns, potatoes, eggs, tomatoes, something! Sides of course can be added for an additional charge ranging from $2.45- $4.95. Bf was not feeling his Percival's Hot Pad breakfast burrito ($11.95). The burrito was mostly egg; chorizo bits could be found sparsely. Bf also found it odd that the salsa/pico de gallo that was included had zucchini, which is a valid point. Again, at $11.95 no side was included, unless you count the salsa. Admittedly, this was not their best dish. I'd stick to your favorite breakfast burrito place. My interest remains piqued in the omlettes which I assume are the real stars of this restaurant. The omlettes include sides which is more reasonable. It may take awhile to convince bf to return, however. read more

This has been a favorite go to for breakfast/brunch since my parents took me as a kiddo in the 1990s. As an adult, I love introducing friends to this amazing location as you can always count on food food! My only gripe is that I wish they did a carafe or pitcher of mimosas to share as large groups as we all order 1-2 mimosas when we all get together. Service is always great and I don't think I've ever had a bad meal in all these years. read more

We're more than willing to drive from San Tan Valley to TC's for a reliably excellent breakfast and outstanding service from Abby K! We had Abby's expert attentiveness and absolutely sweet tableside demeanor. In our last 2 dining experiences, we were blessed by Abby's service. The food was predictably superb: Traditional Eggs Benedict and a proportionally large omelet. Abby kept an ample supply of good coffee at our table, and my wife was pleased with the Spicy Bloody Mary and Mimosa. TC Eggington's, always highly recommended! read more
Came for brunch here on a Saturday with a group of friends around 10 am and we were seated in maybe 15 or so minutes. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor setting had somewhat of a European theme but kind of reminded me of like an Olive Garden but nicer. However food was pretty good for breakfast. I ordered the O'pear omelette which was really tasty despite seeing pears in my eggs but it actually gave a good sweet taste that balanced out the salty from the bacon. Potatoes were really great and tasty too! Overall I thought this was a solid breakfast spot and would recommend it if you're wanting a breakfast place around Chandler/Mesa. Lots of options so everyone can find something to try!! read more
Great service! Our waitress was attentive and on top of our table of 5. I wanted to try something different and I got the pear omelette! SO GOOD!! Worth branching out and trying if you have an adventurous palette! TC Eggington's is worth the stop in! They also have a patio for when the weather is nicer and they just started serving a few alcoholic beverages too! Looking forward to coming again soon! read more

My latest discovery is TC Eggington's. I've lived around the neighborhood for about three years and have seen this restaurant pop up for my breakfast searches but today was the first time that I actually went to dine in. Cute patio with heated lamps is where we were seated. The service was excellent and our server was very friendly. I ordered a strawberry pancake and veggie skillet along with a fresh cup of coffee. The servings were large and flavorful. There was a fun group of people sitting outside with us which we struck up a conversation with and even ended up exchanging information. Such a great vibe energetically to spend the new year's first breakfast. There were so many delicious items on the menu and even with what I ordered I ended up taking half of it home because the helpings were so large. We definitely will be back for the delicious food and wonderful atmosphere! read more

Are small dogs allowed on the patio?
I just phoned TC Eggington's (4-26-26) and they confirmed that small dogs are indeed allowed on their outdoor patio only, not allowed inside.
Does anyone have an Eggington's biscuits and gravy copy cat recipe you'd be willing to share? I might have to fly here from California just for this.
then fly over LOL.
