So dry she practically needed a steak knife to cut into it. There's a Proof Bread shop just down the street. How Daily Jam can have such God-awful muffins is beyond me. The potatoes had no seasoning, she had to salt them -- and the salt & pepper shakers needed filling. My croque madame was edible, if simple. Every plate looked exactly like a TV commercial--beautifully presented and picture-perfect. Better yet, it tasted even better than it looked. The food was cooked to absolute perfection; honestly, I'm not sure it could have been any better. Sitting at the bar, I was looked after by David, who was an awesome and incredibly attentive server. He went above and beyond, even making sure to put the World Cup match on the TV for me while I ate. To top it all off, they offered me a to-go cup for my drink on the way out.
