    Dry, drier, driest

3/14/26: It's not often I give such sucky ratings, but in this case, it was warranted. Not much room to move, dry rolls, tough toast, no flavor (for the most part). We popped in this particular Saturday morning while trouncing through the Tempe Festival of the Arts. There was a line (no surprise since it is ASU territory), but the layout of the line meant people brushing by you & getting too close. The guy who took our order was uncheerful & came across as "I don't want to be here; what do you want?" Not the best impression. We placed our order & were lucky enough to find a seat. There is a small patio on their south side; the light rail to their north. The guy who delivered our food was more friendly. The cinnamon roll was so dry, I swear it had been sitting out for a week -- and there was too much cinnamon. My sister's classic eggs benedict was unappetizing; the English muffin, too, was dry. So dry she practically needed a steak knife to cut into it. There's a Proof Bread shop just down the street. How Daily Jam can have such God-awful muffins is beyond me. The potatoes had no seasoning, she had to salt them -- and the salt & pepper shakers needed filling. My croque madame was edible, if simple. In short, there is absolutely no desire to visit Daily Jam again.

Croque Madam and waffles to share

We are in Tempe for the Innings Festival - which has been great - but what hasn't been great is the food. Inside the festival you cannot bring in outside food or beverages and the food options are all greasy options that I just cannot get behind - corn dogs of all creative kinds, pizza, even the chicken options are fried and not a salad or green to be found. So, for brunch, we decided to try the daily jam and have a big meal that would hold us for the day ahead. It was fantastic - super duper busy and there was a wait but it's probably the second closest restaurant to the festival so of course it is. I got the croque madam - so delicious. Amazing rustic sourdough, tomatoes, ham, Swiss and a bright mustard sauce. Definitely would get it again. I would just add a side spring mix salad next time, which is something I didn't know I could do then, but I know now! My sister and I shared waffles - they were really good too. Lots of options, food that doesn't make you feel terrible about yourself - done and done! We are going back tomorrow - I may get the exact same thing!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and luckily was able to get a table for 9 set up with the help from a friendly staff member. You order at the counter and they'll bring your food out. I ordered the Denver entree, which I didn't realize they deconstructed on the plate. Many of our group ordered drinks and half of them came after everyone finished eating. One of my friends noticed that the drink was sitting at the counter for some time and had to pick it up herself instead of a food runner bringing it to our table. Another staff member ran out food to our table and told my friend that "the lady at the counter who took your order should've told you that the tortilla is an additional charge," when my friend told the food runner that he was the one who took her order. It was very off putting and the attitude the staff had was not appreciated. The food overall was small portions across the board, and the prices were didn't justify the service.

Yes this place was a jam! My husband and I walked over from our hotel to grab breakfast. We had plenty of a la carte options like eggs, bacon, ham, as well as a veggie omelette! The hot sauce was great! Service was wonderful and it was a cool, hip and casual breakfast joint!

I've been a fan of this place for a while, but I've always just did delivery from this location. Well, I finally had the opportunity to actually dine in, and it was a very enjoyable experience! The atmosphere is bright and energetic, making it a great spot to start the day. The highlight of my meal was definitely the Chocolate Chip Scone. It was so mouthwatering, perfectly baked and just the right amount of sweetness. It's easily one of my favorite things on the menu now. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. If you've only ever done carry out here, I definitely recommend taking a seat and enjoying the vibe of the restaurant itself. A solid four stars for a great local breakfast and brunch spot!

The few times I've been here, the food is so good, that's why they're getting 3 stars! The food usually takes a long time to arrive to our table, but the ability to walk up and order from the front is nice. It feels a bit expensive for what it is but it's close to my office and easy to get to. I only really come here because of some nearby work partners, will probably continue to be this way.

Explored Tempe and came across this restaurant. The food was a little bland but the service was fast. Located in a central spot close to the university. Prices were decent.

Small, cute little restaurant. Right off of the light rail and Mill Ave. They have great breakfast choices. They have a really chil vibe. The wait staff are nice and courteous. We have eaten there several times now and love it. They have a nice patio. The food is a step above the typical restaurant and they have good prices. They have a bar as well which is interesting for a breakfast, brunch place.

Decided to try this place out for breakfast. Located right off Mill Ave. it's super easy to access. There was a nice amount of people inside from dining to those in line to place their order. The line went pretty fast once I was in it. I'm not a waffle lover but I love red velvet treats so I ordered the red velvet waffles with chicken. The waffles came with butter on top, a ramekan of cream cheese icing and another with maple syrup. I preferred the cream cheese icing instead of the syrup. There was also a honey hot sauce on the side fot the crispy fried chicken. I enjoyed that The waffle was thick and good for the most part.

stopped by Daily Jam in Tempe this morning and it was a great little breakfast spot! I ordered a small vanilla latte and a BLT -- both hit the spot. The vanilla latte was smooth, not too sweet, and had a nice balance of espresso and flavor. I appreciated that it wasn't overly sugary like some places tend to make it. The BLT was solid -- crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato, and the bread was toasted just right. Simple, but really satisfying. The staff was friendly and service was quick, even with a bit of a morning rush. Overall, a nice spot for a casual breakfast or brunch if you're in the area. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

The General Manager here is absolutely CRUSHING IT. I was one of the few one-off guests where the experience fell through the cracks. I spoke up about some of the opportunities I experienced- and Mr. Jones was IMMEDIATELY struck with shock. His concern for my experience was so wholesome. This is what it means to care about your restaurant. This Gentleman took care of us with no hesitation. MIND YOU- there are events going on and the restaurant is overflowing with guests!! Surprisingly enough, the service was extremely swift. The opportunities missed were so important to him, he was extremely grateful I pointed the nuances out. Now beyond the way this store is being run as far as CR, the FOOD IS AMAZINGGG OMG. You will not be disappointed here!!! Food comes out so fast yet so fresh and so hot!! We're talking MAYBE 15 minutes after swiping my card!! The smiles on the crew, the laughs behind the bar, the GM table touching with a smile. Do yourself a favor and stop in for the one time- it looks busy but I swear it's so much faster than you'd think!! And worth it even if it is!!!

Walk in dining was fast, order at the cashier and seat yourself! Chipotle egg burrito was delicious with or without the salsa. Ultimate BLT with egg salad was yummy especially with the avocado and egg salad flavors combining.

We were ust walking around Tempe hungry, and we stopped in for breakfast. I've always seen this spot and I love the location. The decor inside is vibrant and fun with lots of windows and natural light. The patio is enjoyable because I love the streets of tempe and just watching people walking all around. The food was fine. My "original avocado toast" was tasty and light for ciabatta bread. The full regular breakfast was also simple yet large. I can see why the pigeons hang around... there's so much food leftover

We were setup in a separate dining area from the main dining room, which allowed for better conversation without added noise. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive the entire time we were there, which was a couple hours. The milk bread is an absolute must! It's so pillowy soft and the flaky sea salt perfectly compliments it. I ordered the Wise Decision cocktail, which was refreshing. For my entree, I had the shishito Caesar salad and was advised I could add a protein from their skewer selection of chicken, pork belly or oyster mushrooms. I asked the waitress about the chicken and she advised that they are smoked and will appear pink from that, so not to be alarmed, but are moist and really flavorful. While the filet was tempting (and what everyone else at my table ordered), I wanted something lighter. Thankfully I was not disappointed in my selection. The chicken was as delicious as described and could be cut with a fork. The Caesar salad was well dressed, but not soggy. Do I think it was worth the money to add the chicken? Not if I were paying, but since my company paid for it, I think it was worth it. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion.

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

The Service was "electric" for us as we were celebrating a birthday at the table during lunch. As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. The Tempura Green Bean, can't remember who ordered, but were good with the chipotle ranch sauce. With me, I'm all about the cocktails, so I treated myself to both the Froze Margarita & the Chi Chi. They call them spiked slushes, I call them "heaven sent" during the Arizona Summer. All of the food was a hit for the table and my family understood why I suggested EP for lunch! I said our Server was "electric" and that's because they made our experience very enjoyable. It was appreciated and I will return again for lunch and pickleball (in the evenings) during the hot summer!

The space is huge with plenty of tables, booths, and bar seating, plus they have a dog-friendly patio, although it didn't seem to be open during our visit. One thing to note is that ordering is done entirely through QR code, so interaction with staff is pretty minimal. Service was still smooth, but it definitely has more of a self-service feel. Their board game collection is massive and there's a $6 per person fee if you want to play. We ended up skipping the games this time and just came for food and drinks. Food-wise, everything was solid. I had the Spellbinder Hazy IPA along with the patty melt and sweet potato fries (a $3 upcharge). The patty melt was excellent and easily the highlight of my meal. The fries were decent, though I wish they had been a little crispier. My wife had the 12 West Super Beaker Tropical IPA and the carnitas bowl. We also shared the fried pickle chips. Parking can be a bit of a hassle since all the nearby downtown Tempe garages are paid parking, but there are at least several options within walking distance. There's even a small paid lot right behind the restaurant. Overall, a really cool concept with good food, drinks, and an impressive game selection.

We ended up staying for hours trying out so many games, sharing appetizers, and I enjoyed a latte. Definitely one of those places that makes for such a fun and memorable outing. The food was decently priced but expect to atleast spend $200-$250 for two people minimum. The menu was small which was not bad cause the food was incredible. We got the pork chop which was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. The pasta was also really good! There were only two scallops and 3 shrimp on there and it was black squid ink pasta which I have had elsewhere before and it didn't color my lips and teeth like it did with this so if this was a first date, I'd say no to that dish haha but it was delicious. We got a bottle of moscato to share which was a great choice and then we got dessert for free which we did not expect but definitely appreciated as it was delightful. We watched the sunset and it was gorgeous, the sky was like a painting. Pictures didn't do justice so I didn't have night time pics. You'll just have to go see it for yourself! Also, our server was very nice. She was attentive in all the right moments

My girlfriend loved the views, but if I'm being honest, I was a bit underwhelmed. I'm from San Diego and I've seen far better. A view overlooking the freeway just isn't all that impressive to me personally. Still, I've passed this place on the freeway so many times and always wondered about it, so it felt special to finally check it off the list. We arrived about 10 minutes late, and I'll say the host that greeted us was a bit rude. We waited a few minutes before he took us back to our table. I will say there's an odd smell when you first walked in and I'm grateful that we sat outside. Once we sat down though, our waitress was attentive the entire night. We started with the charcuterie board, which honestly felt a little basic to me. The smoked Gouda was fine, but I would've preferred something sharper like an aged Gouda, and a more thoughtfully curated spread overall. The meats were okay, nothing that really stood out. On the drinks side, I tried two. The berry limeade was absolutely delicious, highly recommend that one! The traditional margarita though? Not it. Way too sweet for my taste. I don't think most Americans really know what a true margarita is supposed to be. I was hoping for something less sweet and more authentic. It is what it is, I drank it anyway (more because of the price than anything). But the entrées? Spot on. My girlfriend got the Miso Glazed Sea Bass served over potato purée with asparagus and a citrus beurre blanc. She said it was delicious. I had the Seasonal Ravioli with grana padano, white truffle oil, and added wild mushrooms on top. Incredible flavor, did not disappoint. I will say though, the ravioli plating wasn't all that appetizing. The sauce color came off bland and boring, and a little garnish like some micro greens on top could've gone a long way to elevate it. For a place like this (and the price), I expect the plating to be just as on point as the flavor. I'd say the same for the table setting, lighting and cleanliness of the table, I'd really rate that C level. Our waitress surprised us with complimentary champagne for the birthday, which was such a sweet touch. No clue what it was, but it was so good she ordered a second glass. They also brought us a small dessert that said Happy 40th Birthday for my girlfriend, which was really thoughtful. And the sunset? That part was genuinely beautiful. We got some great photos. All in all, a decent experience overall. It's pricey, and not somewhere I'd rush back to, but for a special occasion every now and then? Worth it to my GF and that's all that matters at the end of the day because it was her birthday celebration.

The bread on the sandwich was tough, the bacon bits were chewy, hard knots, and the sandwich was dry overall. The sweet potato fries were greasy and tough and not hot. Nothing about what I ordered today was good with the exception of the appetizer, which was the Crisp Korean Brussels and Cauliflower. It was hot, delicious and plentiful so I did not go hungry. Our server was friendly and prompt. He was very quick to refill my drink. I will say that both my chair and our table rocked terribly, so was not very comfortable. Hoping for a better experience on my next visit.
