This is literally a neighborhood restaurant blocks from ASU campus. They are open nightly to the weee hours. We went early evening and the weather was perfect for outdoor seating. They have outdoor heaters but we really didn't need them. I had the fish and chips, calamari rings, and an Old Fashion. Server was attentive and personable. Food was quick and delicious (calamari rings were just okay). I'd go back.

LOVE !! Such a nice spot! Feels like a ton of locals go here, it's pretty hidden. Good food, good service, good energy. What more could one want? They do allow people to smoke cigs so just a heads up if that's not your vibe. I love taking people here who are visiting

Love this place to grab some apps and drinks after work! The service is always great and very friendly with great suggestions. It's a very laid back ambiance and a place that welcomes everyone.

Irish pub/restaurant located one block from Mill St. We came on a Friday night and it was packed. It is self seating and no reservations. There is a large outdoor seating area. There is indoor seating but spread out to separate areas. If you can't find seating by the bar there is another dining room in the back. We tried the oysters Rockefeller. They were on the smaller side and cooked a little too long but still good. We then had the potato skins which were good. The restaurant has a nice beer selection with $6 daily beer specials. Overall we had a great time and the staff was nice.

After living in Tempe for over 20 years and passing by this restaurant, I finally ate here. It was food coma good. I had the Schilling Apple cider from tap, which was dry and crisp. The fish and chips was lightly battered and light and crispy. It came with fries and coleslaw. My friend offered a piece of her bread which came with her French onion soup. The bread was chewy on the inside and crispy on the exterior. The best! To die for bread! I want the recipe! This was one of my favorite meals and I was full and happy! My friend had the half soup and half salad but it looked full sized to me. She loved her meal too! We both liked our oysters on the half shell. But I loved the ambience. Laid back and boisterous. Tables were outside with a garden and water fountain. I did have to move to another table because cigarette smoke was coming my way. The crowd was half older and the other half was university aged kids. So is all I can think about this restaurant that I should have tried many years ago . This is now going to be my destination spot! The service was great too! I'm going back again!

A friend decided to go here for his bday. We tried the escargot and I had it from a different place and didn't like it. Omg this is the perfect place to have it. It was garlicky cream sauce so good. Amazing. Oysters Rockefeller was also very good. The shrimp and chips were large and cooked perfectly large order was great to share. I will definitely be back. Service was spot on. Great patio very large and great even ambiance.

Uncleaned Raw Oysters filled with shell/algae particles and plenty of feces chilling on the oyster shell. NOT RECOMMENDED

My stomach was in a knot and it was my birthday. The clams in the pasta were so so sooo bad and tasted like ammonia. I kept trying to eat them and would have to spit them in the napkin(I know TMI).. whoever was back in the kitchen opening the raw oysters also did not know what they where doing you shouldn't have to spit out half the shell that was snapped its pieces in alll the oyster, I was spitting out particles of the uncleaned oyster shell every bite. The (whole) serving of the calamari is substantially smaller now and one of the burgers was way too overloaded with blue cheese. There was nothing good about our meal. The only thing that went right was the drinks. Sadly I loved coming here at one point but this was such a bad experience and one of the servers was extremely rude somebody needs to get the guy a drink.

The atmosphere here is always chill and the bonus for the Saturday we came was they were supporting local vendors as part of the Casey Moore's Back Alley Market. Picked up some goodies and decided to do lunch. Seating is grab what you can grab and enjoy the scenery and plenty of shade for those sunny days. Outdoor area is pretty large, but also be prepared if your a non-smoker that your sharing that space. This can be a deal breaker for some, but something to know. Oysters in the past have always been my 1st choice but this day, it was a wings, beer & margarita type day. Ordered the chicken wings and a steak sandwich. The wings were good and did a full dozen & split the sauces (Chipotle & salt & pepper dry rub). The steak sandwich was interesting... it was a tough piece of steak on a roll for a sandwich. Not a big fan of that item, but the wings and service were great. The next trip will be all about the oysters.

Casey Moore's, a Tempe staple for 40 years, is my favorite bar in metro Phoenix. Located in a 100-year-old house, Casey's is a welcoming spot for folks in the neighborhood, ASU professors and students, theatergoers catching a bite before a show at Gammage and anyone who wants good food and drinks. You've got the choice of front patio, back patio, inside bar and inside tables, and each area has a slightly different vibe. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food is way above average for a bar; seafood is a good bet, as are the wings (try the gold sauce), appetizers and sandwiches. Casey's is famously haunted and has a restricted space upstairs--make friends with a regular who knows the bartenders and they may take you up there. There are a few drawbacks: Sometimes I wish the bartenders were a little more attentive. Parking can be challenging on busy nights--the lot fills up fast and there are lots of restrictions on nearby streets. The outdoor bathrooms are pretty sketchy. But those few complaints don't change the fact that Casey Moore's is an incredible local bar, and one that I highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem in Tempe. Definitely bar vibe/ole in the wall vibe to it with great food. The clam chowder is delicious filled with potatoes and clams in a thick soup form. The cauliflower bits are amazing! Some of the best we have had. The French dip was good full of flavor with a great aju dip. The drinks are pours pretty strong which is always a plus! Our server was nice and punctual and on top of everything and got our food out quick but not overlapping!

Still one of my favorite hole in the wall bars in Tempe. Plenty of parking. Services are always chill. My favorite things here are the clam chowder and cauliflower bites. Plenty of patio seating. Dog friendly but just a heads up they do not allow dogs when it's 100 degrees or above.

Casey Moores is a fun spot loaded with character and good vibes, great bar food, good drinks, awesome service, and great patio seating. Rolled through with my wife and kids (7 & 5). We had a great time. They even all tried oysters with me :D .... my daughter is the only adventurous one, she liked them and went back for seconds. We tried a dozen oysters (decent - unfortunately only 1 choice of oyster), crab cakes (decent), fried calamari (good), fish & chips (huge hit). Cocktails were pretty good. My daughter said her Shirley Temple was too good to put words to. Unfortunately, I wouldn't bring them back, because we couldn't use the awesome patio seating, way too much cigarette smoke (fairly excessive), kinda kills it :( ... also had to walk them through the patio to get inside so they had to walk through a wall of smoke. All in all though, great spot, would recommend (just not so much for kids).

Excellent experience, top not service and good food, MUST TRY! We started with the shrimp cocktail so FRESH and I had the clam chowder just perfection! We had the shrimp linguine and WOW just amazing flavor. The staff is AMAZING and we had a great time visiting with locals. Very Irish pub feel, old historical house and lots of outside patio seating.

Chupacabra was open, was a three-minute drive, and had excellent reviews. So my decision was made. I parked on the street for free a minute away on foot. Ambiance (3.5/5): Pretty much your typical beer bar. Relatively small inside, but they also have a patio out front with picnic style seating. Casual. My type of bar. My only complaint? I hate picnic style seating because it doesn't give you back support. Which made me want to avoid the patio. Service (5/5): Super friendly service. The guy working the bar did a great job. I ordered one beer and called it a night. A seamless experience from beginning to end. They also have complimentary water in a water cooler, which is always a nice ou Food (N/A): I read they have food trucks, but I didn't see any when I visited. I had dinner prior anyway. Drinks (4.5/5): I love trying new beers and Chupacabra has an excellent selection. They have a rotating screen above the bar.
