College town spot, near ASU Sports bar atmosphere, fun place. Food was good, regular sandwiches offered and single serve potato salad that can be shared.

Was craving a good sandwhich and came here for lunch. This parking lot is always a struggle but so glad I stopped by. This is a San Diego based company and this is their only location in AZ. We got the Italian sub and turkado, I added bacon and asked for the company sauce! It's very tango, a little sweet but so good! The sandwhiches are huge. And we got luckily they aren't super busy at 12:30 pm Monday but school hasn't technically started, very surfer, cali vibe, with r&b music, can't wait to come back for a sandwhich from the grill menu!

Got a chicken Cesar wrap, it was fire! Service was quick and easy. Place had a cool vibe, watched the masters while eating and everyone was super cool.

Came in on a Friday afternoon. It was a bit busy as it was after lunch time. One person was working the register and other two were making meals. I got the TURKADO (Turkey Brest, Jack Cheese Avoada Lettuce Tomato, & Mayo on sourdough bread) with a side of secret sauce. I also added Dirty Style Potato Chips: Sour Cream & Onion with a Root-beer as my drink. They have a few TVs to watch and about 9 tables plus a bar area to sit at. My sandwich was good and full of avocado (my shirt tasted some too). I liked their secret sauce to add flavor. Staff was nice and checked how I was doing. I did have to ask to have a table cleaned off as it had left over lettuce on it. Glad I found this location and will be back. Small parking lot to park in behind establishment with no street parking. Seems to be a hit with ASU staff and students. ASU Staff get a 10% off if they show their ID.

This is my first time coming here... the vibe was super chill... cool music and great sandwiches!! We were pleasantly surprised greeted by Sophie, who gave great suggestions.... She even came and checked to make sure we were doing well... I also met the manager, Carlos, he is a super chill cat. Gave me the history of the place and told me Al about the specials, which I will be trying on my next visit? Definitely go check this place out!

When we arrived, the place was very packed. We didn't think anything of it until I got up to the register and the lady told me it would be about a 25-30 minute wait. I said it was okay and ordered my sandwich, assuming they overestimate the wait time and it would less than that, especially for a simple sandwich. 25 minutes later and still nothing. I asked if I missed my order be called out, and they just brushed it off saying it was just a long wait, even thought I was positive I saw people who ordered before us getting their meals. 40 minutes rolls around and I start panicking because we have an appointment to be at. After 47 minutes, they finally call my name. Service time was ridiculous for a simple cold cut sandwich that I could've gotten at Jersey Mikes for no wait at all. I found the sandwich to be incredibly wet and drenched, and the bread was rather thick for my liking. It also had an incredibly sweet taste, which I have never experienced with my Italian subs from Jersey Mikes. I will just stick to what I know works, from now on. Sorry Board & Brew, your salads never failed me at the California locations but this Tempe one- wouldn't return. The 1 star is for the cookie that my friend ordered, she said it was alright.

$15 a sandwich, and you only gave us 3 out of 4 of them in our DoorDash, which we also paid extra to use. Won't ever order again. Bummer, the sandwiches looked tasty, but everything was shoved in a bag and one of us didn't get to eat. Lame. Also a nice broken container that splattered sauce, sauce that also didn't taste right. I think it's bacteria, there's a bubbly film.

Joe and Jeremy were amazing bartenders; offering knowledgeable input and easily answering all of our questions about the history of the brewery. They were fun and engaging every step of the way! Highly recommend this place! Go enjoy some amazing beers and great company!

First had Board & Brew in California and was excited to see one here! Had the San Diegan sandwich, which was delicious and huge. The price point is on the high end.

I walked in from the back parking lot around 3:10pm and immediately went to the restroom. It was clean and I love the sign on the door. After, I walked up to the front to the counter. There were two young men doing content for the store, and after about 15 seconds, I was greeted by who I found out to be was the partial owner Carlos. SUPER cool dude! Helpful, patient, good vibe. I'm a bit slow and indecisive when it comes to me picking and so I appreciated him, helping me out determine what was on the menu, and he went to the back to check if the spinach wraps had gluten (which I was 99% sure they were cause they always are) Anyway, I ordered the chicken club, but i wanted to add jalapeños and red onions to it. It was absolutely delicious. I see why they recommended the French baguette bread. Nice and fresh. Gluten usually upsets my tummy, but it was worth it. The store was pretty slow when I came in. It was only a couple eating, the two content guys, and then 3 people came in for pick up orders. I also got the Blakc Widow Hard Cider which was yummy too but not very cold :( while I appreciate the cold glass. Overall, great experience. I recommend you stop in. I learned their company started in 1979 in Del Mar, California... since then, they've opened 30 stores.

Better than the O.G. These guys are absolutely killing the sandwich game in Tempe. Turkey Deluxe is all you need to know.

There is plenty of bar space if you're popping in for a drink.. of course, the actual bar that runs along the shelves of liquor, and there is also a bar on the other side of a roll-up door, perfect for people who come with dogs. There's also a bar space that runs along the window that separates the small dining room and the patio. There are a few tables inside as well as some bigger tables on the patio. The patio is nice with lots of shrubs right outside the rail. The murals on the wall are pretty darn cool - - they're like enlarged historic photos of the area. I love them! And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Great bar food and a good selection of beers. What's not to love?

Cocktails were made well, I'd come back and try others. Our friends suggested The Hudson which worked for me, it's been sitting on my list for a while. Bar food was pretty good. Next time I'll try a burger since people like them a lot in reviews, and I love a good burger. This visit we had the carne asada cheesesteak with some onion rings and boneless wings. Both items were good. I think for me, 4 stars seems right since there's an element of having to order at the bar and then come back up if anything is needed. Making it feel somewhat self service but I'm sure we tipped like full service. And at first we were trying to figure out the menu, where to order, and apparently we had a learning curve that night. Brains were tired. We sat outside with the misters at night. That was totally fine. It wasn't one of the nasty hot days.

Since we were planning the event from out of town, having a team we could trust was incredibly important -- and Bailey and the entire staff handled everything flawlessly. Even the decorations were set up beautifully and exactly as we had hoped. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and attentive, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A special thank you to Bailey, the Event Coordinator, who was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She was organized, responsive, and made everything feel easy and stress-free leading up to the event and the night of the dinner. The highlight was definitely the Rafter Room -- it was even more impressive in person than in the pictures. The space had a great atmosphere for a rehearsal dinner and made the evening feel really special for our family and guests. If your kitchen can't handle a simple order in a reasonable amount of time, don't accept DoorDash orders in the first place. What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of respect for customers' time. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no reason a two-item order should take longer than two hours. Accepting orders you clearly can't fulfill is misleading and incredibly unprofessional. I won't be ordering from Social Hall again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else waste their time either.
