Expansive list of beers offered at Catalyst, and they have two house/featured beers available for $4 everyday! I ordered the double patty smash burger, was nice and crispy.

Stumbled upon this place on our way home, and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and laid-back, which made it the perfect stop to wind down. The bartender was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful in guiding us through their beer selection. I really appreciated how attentive he was in helping us choose something that matched our tastes. it made the experience feel more personalized. We decided to order some food to go with our drinks, and let me just say, it did not disappoint. The toritos were flavorful, super filling, and definitely hit the spot. You could tell they take pride in both their drinks and their food, which is always a win in my book. All in all, it was one of those unexpected stops that turned out to be a great find. Between the great service, tasty food, and solid beer options, I would absolutely come back. not just to try more beers, but to explore more of the menu too. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area!

Finally made it here for brewery hop.... a while back..... it was super good though. Didn't meet a beer here I didn't like. The burger was awesome as well. Super friendly service and really great music selection.

Just recently found out about Catalyst and was looking forward to a new spot in the neighborhood. Very clean inside and out with plenty of seating. I love the fact that you can order food at Salt and the window is right next of the bar. There are a ton of drink options, including beers, seltzers and ciders! The bartender was friendly, but had a bit of a wait at the bar since he was the only one working and chatting with other customers. I would recommend others to stop in and try them out. Would come back !

A place that is so easy to come too. The atmosphere always is a vibe on its own. The people and tenders are always top notch and willing to help. The beer is spot on and the food matches with a menu that has recommended pairings. Great place for any day of the week.

Trappist Beer (Rye Whiskey Barrel Aged) simply delicious!

My husband & I LOVE this brewery! The beers are top notch ! Double West Coast Style IPAs and barrel aged stouts are the type of beers we are after and Catalyst's brew Master doesn't disappoint! All we wish is for Catalyst to relocate or open another location in North Phoenix - Desert Ridge or City North we are in desperate need here for the brewery of this caliber!

I can't believe I've never stopped here before!! What an awesome place, for real. All of the beers are insanely good, and the food!! Omg the food!! We got the Toritos, which I've never heard of before, but now I can't live without them. So dang good!! There's a big, beautiful outdoor dog-friendly patio area, and nice, clean inside bar and dining area. The staff is absolutely amazing, attentive and knowledgeable. There are several big screen televisions to watch sports and hang out with friends as well. This will definitely be added to my list of weekly stops.

We came here in February as a detour on a trip to Tucson and we really liked this brewery. The atmosphere was relaxing (we did come on a Thursday afternoon haha) and it was nice to just relax with a flight of beer and some tacos. The beer was very good and they had a variety of styles on tap and the tacos that we tried (carne asada and carnitas) were pretty good and affordable as well. Service was good and it's a nice brewery overall!

Met up with friends and this place is so chill! As I was walking up the brewery I saw the big patio which would be so nice in the spring. I walked in and there was a good amount of seats/tables. The bar is pretty big and has a lot of beers on tap. The aesthetic is open and modern and all of the beer dispensers were silver. It looked very sleek, and added an extra touch. The bartender was very nice and offered to do a tab right away, which I liked. Then on the other side bar is the window/kitchen for S.A.L.T. You can order tacos, burritos, bowls, and other goodies while you drink! Two businesses in one! I am also one who needs to eat while I drink. I can't wait to come back and relax and try the other beers/ciders they have on tap!

Just had an amazing lunch and will be back for a repeat very soon. The staff is super friendly and the beers are divine. Lots of huge TV's to watch sports. I'm sold.

If you're looking for a brewery in the Tempe area this is a good contender. Great for families, friends, or a beer for yourself. They have a good selection on tap. Personally if you like sours they don't have a great selection. What they do have isn't tart. I like my sours to be...well...sour. They have a great outdoor seating area with ample space and heaters for the winter. One thing is the music is a little too loud. It'd perfect if they turned it down a little so you aren't yelling to have conversation. Indoors is mainly high tops with several tables to sit at. If you want a bite to eat, there is a separate eatery off to the right of the bar. Give this place a try! Enjoy!

This is the craft brewery you wish you had in your neighborhood. Excellent beer selections, full bar, great wines, tremendous food, and phenomenal staff (I'm talking about you, Lacy). Go before you can't get in.

Sometimes the best meals happen because your original plan falls through. That was exactly the case…read morehere, and honestly... I'm not even a little mad about it. I ordered the veggie tacos with roasted sweet potatoes (skin on, which was absolutely the right call), pepitas, feta, and all the right toppings. Whoever prepped those sweet potatoes deserves a raise because they were cut into the perfect sized pieces. Every bite had a little sweetness, a little crunch, a little saltiness... it just worked. My dining partner ordered the barbacoa tacos, and I didn't even have to ask if they were good. The involuntary "Mmm..." after the first bite answered that question. Four tacos disappeared in record time, followed by, "I could've eaten two more." That's about as glowing of a review as you're going to get. Now let's talk about these tortillas. Handmade. Corn. Tortillas. Are you kidding me? They're the kind of tortillas that had me question every tortilla I've ever eaten. Soft, fresh, and somehow they manage to steal the spotlight even with everything else on the plate being so good. The chips and guacamole were excellent, too. The chips have to be made in-house and they disappeared at an alarming rate. The salsa that came with them had this smoky, fire-roasted, chipotle flavor that kept me reaching for another chip... and then another... and then suddenly I realized I'd eaten way more chips than I intended. The bottled table salsas deserve their own paragraph because they completely confused me... in the best way. They bring three to the table... a green, a red, and a darker red. I kept tasting them individually thinking, "Okay, these are alright." Then I started mixing them. Game over. On their own, each one was solid. Mixed together? That was the magic. I don't know if that's what they intended or if I accidentally stumbled onto the perfect combination, but from that point on, every taco got the salsa trio treatment. The only tiny hiccup was when we first walked in. We were greeted, asked if we wanted menus, and sat ourselves. We waited for a bit thinking someone would come take our order, only to realize it's actually counter service. Once we figured that out, everything was smooth sailing. Not a big deal at all... just something first-time visitors might want to know. Follow the sign "order here" I also loved the layout. You can actually watch them making the food, which somehow makes the wait even harder because everything smells incredible. Two tacos ended up being the perfect light meal for me. Could I have eaten ten? Absolutely. Those two statements can both be true. Meanwhile, my dining partner polished off four barbacoa tacos and was talking about ordering two more. We only ended up here because another place happened to be closed, and honestly, I'm glad it worked out that way. This ended up being one of those meals we keep talked about on the drive home. Oh and the bathrooms?. I walked in and immediately thought, "Whoa... this is a cool bathroom" The lighting had this pinkish-purple glow that made me feel like I'd accidentally wandered into a trendy lounge instead of a taco shop. I honestly wasn't even sure there was regular lighting in there and I didn't look... because the vibe seemed so intentional. Finally, the music. .. upbeat, dance-worthy, the kind that had me bouncing in my seat while waiting for my food. Between the atmosphere, the lighting, and the music, the whole place had me want to hang out a little longer. Zero regrets. I'll absolutely be back... and next time I'm ordering more tacos.

First of all, eating anywhere in Tempe, starts with a frustrating time.... Trying to find parking and having to pay to park. I don't understand why restaurants don't have parking for customers. Idk maybe I don't know where to look. Second, it's hot AF in here. I feel sorry for the guys cooking. It's 105 today and the restaurant is so small, it's probably impossible to keep cool during the summer. Finally, the food. It all tastes very fresh! NO SEED OILS is amazing. I feel like I have won something when I find a restaurant that uses olive oil and beef tallow to cook in. Best corn tortillas I have had for sure. We basically tried one of each taco. (Although some of the tacos we ordered were wrong, so we just kept adding) not a big deal, because they were delicious and we loved them. I felt like the carne was chewy but my husband loves chewier meat. The taco with the marlin was my favorite. And the one that came out kind of like a cheese crisp. It's loud in here and again the space is very small. They do not serve wine at all. But yummy margaritas! The bartender is working solo and working hard! She busted her butt and did an amazing job. And smiled the entire time. She was awesome

In the mornings it's bread and honey and at 3 it turns to Paco's. We arrived at 2:30 and decided to wait . While we waited the young lady was nice enough to give us crepes on the house. They were amazing. We ordered 2 different types of burritos (Cali and chile relleno) and a carnita taco/ birria taco and asada taco. The food was just ok. The meat had no flavor at all. The birria taco is supposed to be crunchy and it was soggy. It just was pretty mediocre tasting and I really wanted to like it. Usually I'm camped outside with a few cocktails and I stagger my order. Just to be clear, my favorite item here is the Carne Asada Sope!!! Service was great as they gave the family recommendations. Teenagers went for the (classic Azteca & burrito Mio) burritos and birria tacos. The consommé to them was on point as they finished it all on the burritos. Greedy kids also split one of my Sope's seeing how I hyped it up... and left crumbs!!! Salsa bar is located in the corner and labeled so you don't go blazin hot unexpectedly with a salsa. For the adults, we decided to go with the Asada Fries for the group to share, the Mulitas with Carne Asada, Steet taco combo with rice & beans, horchata's and of course a Margarita (or 2) It was a bit to hot for the patio our front that evening, and they do have a another one out back. The only downside was that that bathroom was down for the night so we didn't hang out for a round 2.
