They make good beer here. The Oktoberfox is delish and their flagship beers are consistently well crafted. Also Dillinquent the pickle sour is light and refreshing with just the right amount of pickle. I highly recommend and hangout here often.
When I checked in today the app reminded me that I'm a "regular" here. That tracks :) Yet somehow I've never rated this place. I assumed I had rated this place after the grand opening about a year ago. So, I wasn't planning to Yelp it today, and I didn't take as many photos as I usually do. That being said, I enjoy this place every time I come here. The beer is great with rotating styles, and the pizza is awesome. I've always had friendly service and a fun time with friends. Today a new thing I tried was their hummus and it's SO good. There's a nice spicy flavor that was served with appeared to be house made pita bread. Like I didn't even take a photo of the pizza. I was so hungry I just went for it. So, you'll just have to stop in and try it out. Grab a beer from the bar and then order a delicious pizza from the Goat & Ram area. You can thank me later :)
A great spot in DT Mesa! Stopped in for the first time recently and really enjoyed it here. We came here for some drinks but you can order food as well. The pizza looks delicious and will have to try it next time. Drinks wise, they have a large menu with a ton of variety. Spirits and cocktails are available, and a huge selection of draft beers. The Chupacabra is really good - a nice, light Mexican Lager that hits the spot. If you enjoy drinking local brews, you should add this to your list. The inside is nice and open. Plenty of high tops, outside seating, and seats at the bar. They have a bunch of TVs with the game on throughout the inside. All of the bartenders were very nice and helpful. Overall, really enjoyed coming here and will definitely come back!
Devil's Trill was great, Paige at the bar was a delight! Will be back with a friend to try other beers.

I stopped in here on a cold rainy winter night to grab a beer and watch the Suns game. I love it when local establishments collaborate together. Phantom Fox Beer Co. is operated by the owners of Chupacabra Taproom and the owners of Goat and Ram Pizza. I keep telling myself that I need to get down to Downtown Mesa more often now that I live close by. So I decided one night to get out of the house and discovered this place as I was walking around downtown. I enjoyed my time hanging out at the bar and watching the staff crank out pizzas. I dig the fun scary names of Phantom Fox's beers. Snare Trap, If I Had A Nickel, Hellhound, Ghost Fox, Samsquantch are a few. They made good beer here and have a number of them on tap. I grabbed a Walking Shadows beer and was happy to have discovered a new place to grab a drink close to home.
Phantom!! What a great place to get beer and pizza! I have been coming here since they opened. Today, I had the weekly pizza, which was the called the Three Cs. It had chimichurri sauce, smoked chipotle lime chicken, pepperoncini cream cheese, mozarella, and parmesan. What a great combination of flavors, I truly enjoyed the pizza! I also had a delicious IPA that is newer,called the Stardust. Highly recommend! Very friendly bartenders and great service . Plenty of seating inside and outside. Check it out next time your in downtown Mesa!
Nice brewery. A little on the dark side. Nice outdoor patio on the sidewalk. Service was little slow, bartenders didn't seem to be paying attention. Didn't get to try the pizza.
Wow! That's all I have to say! I love pizza especially stone oven pizza. This one was literal perfection. The flavors and sauce were amazing. I loved how quick the pizzas came out and it's perfectly made to share. It's so good you might not even want to! The place is perfect for a night out with friends, date night, or just because. The place is cozy and in the heart of downtown Mesa. The drinks are served in a cute little glass that's aesthetically pleasing to the eye and in photos. Service was excellent and the workers are so friendly. This is a must visit! I can't wait to come back!
Beers are really good but I only tried the hazy IPA's. Pizza smells divine while you drink it. I would have been tempted to try the pizza had I not already eaten. I enjoyed the hazy IPAs and would certainly return.
Immediately welcomed and offered menus for both tap and pizza. Love that this is two establishments under one roof and it just works. The pizza is wonderful and so good. I had a flight of beers and they have such a good selection. The atmosphere was great plenty of seating and a great patio w heaters. Can't wait to return since the pizza changes every two weeks.

Really awesome place and great addition to Mesa downtown. The beers are consistently good and I appreciate the amount of IPAs and similar varieties. They have a sort of mythical theme going on that feels more high end and not in your face, which I love. Atmosphere is casual, easy to navigate and warm. Great place for a small group to hang. Nice patio too! Service is nice, attentive and very helpful in navigating the taproom's offering. Big cherry on top to this place is Goat and Ram pizza always hits. It's SO GREAT; one of my favorites in The Valley. They have usually about 4 pizzas that rotate relatively often so you get to try different ones often. And they are innovative! Their simple house salad with spicy Italian dressing is so good. Highly recommend this place! read more

Pizza is ok great beer selection. Really good beers. It always seems to be busy. You seat yourself so if you picked a bad spot it's on you. I like that they have outside seats. read more

Great new pub from the owners of Chupacabra just a ways down the street. The also boast some pretty yummy pizza from local friends at Goat and Ram! The people are always friendly and welcoming, the beer is steadily flowing, and the location is one of our favorites! Downtown Mesa is growing quickly and we are so happy to see it! read more

March 9, 2024 Vibe: Brewster :) Beers: I'm doing a bit of a solo pub crawl in Mesa. So only had one; the Kolche ERL KING, it was much lighter than the Kolche I'm used to from home. Should have went heavier or hazier. But if light is your thing it was good. I didn't have food but it looked like the pizza was popular and very tasty. Appears to be connected but not 100% part of the brewery. They share the space. Bar tenders were quite nice! read more
Finally was able to try this gem out! I attended the grand opening but the wait was insane, which is amazing for the business. My boyfriend and I tried tons of different beers by doing a flight and liked every single one. The service was great. They are willing to suggest beers and explain. Also, Goat and Ram pizza is absolutely amazing! Been following the food truck for quite some time and so happy they have their own spot here. When you are here, you feel you're experiencing such a different experience, as if you're not at a normal regular bar. Check this place out if you're in the area for some great food, service, games, and mouth watering pizza! read more
Stopped in before a concert at The Nile and it was the perfect spot to grab a beer (or three ;)) with friends. It's the cherry on top that they serve Goat & Ram pizza! They were one of our favorite food trucks that would visit a bottleshop in Tempe. Will definitely be back. read more

Ladies night spent at Phantom Fox Beer Co. Self serve at the bar. Clean bathrooms and fair amount of seating. Ambiance is a bit dark and there's a huge chandelier that hangs from the bathroom area. They don't serve food but you can order at the pizza joint that's inside the bar, separate service. read more
Welcome to Mesa! Their brews at Phantom Fox are fun and unique. They have a great variety of beers on tap which have yet to disappoint. It's a Big space that, shares with Goat&Ram pizza, it all looks perfect. Every time we go, the space is filled out! Basic furniture and deco inside and lots of seating outside only WE NEED umbrellas. We are roasting on the patio and when the weather is beautiful, we gotta have some shade! Please and thank you! Stop by and grab a cold one when you can! read more

Awesome vibes and perfect for adding to the nightlife of downtown Mesa. I've lived in Mesa my entire life, and it's amazing to see the evolution of downtown and reviving Mesa. Beer was pretty good. But would say their 'hoppy ipa' wasn't very hoppy, at least with my more wine developed-pallette. Also tried their cider, and it was more like a cranberry juice but still refreshing....and frankly probably super dangerous after a few. Bar tenders were super friendly and explained everything to us. This place might be my new favorite joint to grab a beer and pizza! read more
The different brews on tap were all really good! The bartender was funny and gave great recommendations based on each of our likes. The place was well laid out with tables for groups both large and small. I plan to return with my coworkers again another time! read more

Main Street in Mesa has many places to grab some good beer. Phantom Fox is a new addition. They took over what used to be Desert Eagle Brewery and did an amazing job with the remodeling. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside Phantom Fox is Goat & Ram, which has some delicious pizza (I have a separate review). The food is ordered upfront and drinks at the bar. Phantom Fox has a great selection of beers and also offers a rotating cider. My boyfriend got a blonde ale, and I got the fruit bowl cider. My boyfriend said the blonde ale was one of the best he's had. My cider was really good. It was a good balance of tart and sweet. If you haven't been to Phantom Fox, I would recommend you go. I can't wait to go back and try some of their beers. read more
