Today we're back for brunch, because it's the best in the valley! We ordered the chicken and waffles and a Bitch'n breakfast, the refried black beans are smooth and flavorful and spiced to perfection, of course the Blap Jack! Was crisp on the edges and fluffy, spicy jalapeño bacon! Ummm I crave it! I was told the chicken and waffles is the best he's ever eaten! Service is great as usual, despite the busyness we were seated quickly and served promptly.

We have only ever gone to the 12 West Brewery that is inside The Hangar - we have never gone to eat/drink at 12 West Brewing in DT Mesa. It was incredible! When I first walked in I told my boyfriend this would be a great place for a company party or a wedding reception. The space was awesome, The Cellar downstairs was super cool! It seems like I'm not the only one who thought it was a great place for parties! We came on a Sunday and they had a brunch menu - I got the cactus breakfast tacos with potatoes and it was delicious!! I ate every bite of it! We also started with the pretzel and cheese - it was a great size portion for our family. My daughter had the pancakes and liked them as well. We definitely suggest and would come back!

This is the best place in downtown Mesa to grab a drink and some food. Evan though it seems busy when you walk in they are more than eager to get you served ASAP. The cocktail menu is very diverse and offers something for everyone besides a cold beer. It's a great space to have a date night or a birthday celebration. The bartenders are extremely friendly, eager to make recommendations and make some of the best cocktails in the valley.

First time to this location and brought friends with us. We were fortunate enough to get a free parking space across the street so it was a quick and easy walk over to the brewery. Everyone enjoyed our visit from the start to finish. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated immediately. Several in the group chose to get some of the home brewed goodness and were very happy with their beverages choice. We also got a little something for dinner too and everyone was also quite happy with their choices. We ordered a Reuben on rye w truffle fries, Charlie Hustle burger w coleslaw, Lemon pepper fried chicken sandwich w cajun fries, buffalo fried chicken sandwich w fries. No room for dessert today! The interior was very spacious with even more seating upstairs! There is even an elevator for those that need it. We saw a sign for the Cellar but didn't have time to check it out this time so we'll have to come back later when we have more time. There was also lots of patio seating that we can see would be very popular when the weather is nice out. There were several events happening in the area. Service was great, fast and very friendly! Food was delicious! Beers were awesome! We'll be back for more and hope others will also check them out for a wonderful experience!

Delicious burger and WOW FRIES! lol the best fries in Mesa hands down !!

Delicious food and drinks! We will definitely be back. The French fries my bf ordered were literally the best fries I've had in a long time. Friendly and prompt service and cool hip ambience.

Pastrami Reuben exceeded my expectations. It had incredible flavor and was super tender. Not what I was expecting from 12 West, but was pleasantly surprised!

What a cool place!! I love how much space there is at this brewery! There's even a downstairs lounge area, but we didn't check it out. Next time! The birria tacos were awesome!!! And my friend was on a keto diet and she was able to order a huge salad that she enjoyed. The bartender who served us was an absolute sweetheart. I will definitely come back

Lemon pepper fried cauliflower was delicious! Service was friendly and warm, the place was very spacious. Great place to stop by for food or mingling with friends. Pop over the Alchemy 48 speakeasy under Level One arcade before or after. Very cool vibe!

I'm assuming most people review the beer selection at 12 West, but I'm here to rave about the food! Came here with some friends recently and loved all the holiday lights and decor. We ordered the truffle parmesan fries and the popcorn chicken to share and both were amazing! The popcorn chicken was very flavorful and surprisingly juicy (which isn't really the case when it comes to popcorn chicken). The truffle parmesan fries were very truffle-y, which I love. Some places that offer similar flavors barely taste like truffle, so I loved these. This is a great place to come with friends as it's really spacious and has good food and drinks!

Came met up with some friends prior to an event and we had a fairly large group. We were seated promptly had attentive staff coming through as we ordered some food and drinks. I will say a few items on the menu weren't available and the menus are unbelievably difficult to read with the what seems to be intentional wear on them. However despite that the food that did arrive was good and we all really enjoyed our time grabbing a bite before the event. Definitely a good brewery and food spot to add to the list

Really cool industrial chic ambiance. Bar service was great, food service very slow, despite it being 1:30 on a Tuesday. Both of us had fried chicken sandwiches, Nashville style. The bun was much bigger than the chicken and the chicken wasn't spicy at all. The cotton candy sangria was fun and amazing.

Enjoyed lunch at 12 West today. It's a great looking bar/ restaurant in downtown Mesa. With high ceilings, exposed brick, it has a rustic industrial warehouse feel to it, which I really, really like. There is a great patio out front where you can people watch in cooler weather. Our server was very friendly and helpful. He was happy to make the changes I requested, and the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered wings, and a fried chicken sandwich, buffalo style. I really liked the sandwich and the fries were also delish. I recently had the Cobb salad here, which was good, but had dressing that was way too thick. I also had the hummus, which is some of the best I've ever had! This is a great place for a meal, but also just to have a drink. And because it is about a 90 second walk from my office, I know I will keep coming back.

Ask the Community - 12 West Brewing - Downtown Mesa

Do they allow kids/people under 21?

Yes, it's a restaurant that serves alcoholic beverages. I don't think they have any issues with younger kiddos.

    Do you have happy hour?

Our current happy hour is from 11am - 6pm Monday through Fridays and It is a $1 off our draft beers unless stated other wise.

    Do they have parking?

Yes, in the back of the building. I believe there are signs that state "Brewery Parking After 5". Maybe it's 5:30...

But a friend wanted to meet for food around the area and this spit popped up on Yelp. It didn't disappoint! I was skeptical at first as having a sign posted at the sidewalk and a bouncer outside the stairs going down, was a sheer sign that this isn't such a secret and speakeasy-like spot. But I was proven wrong very quickly. Dre who was the bouncer and I'd much rather call Drayden, is young but friendly. The hall leading down to the entrance was well decorated. It's hard to miss the door when you can hear people on the other side :). Hostess was nice. Alex immediately introduced himself from behind the bar as I sat down, and Meagan was the main bartender this night. They were both a wealth of knowledge when it came to cocktails. I really wasn't expecting too much but the two drinks I ordered were a solid 5/5. I had the silk bandit and the untold legacy. I like sweet drinks this way. It wasn't too sweet. All the flavors were well balanced and well thought out. They also had a girl singing tonight and she was amazing!!! Thanks for a nice relaxing night. This time was checking…read moreout a speakeasy located in the heart of downtown Gilbert on a Friday evening at 9 p.m. I parked for free on the street before making my way to The White Rabbit. There are some things I really love about The White Rabbit and some that I didn't. Ambiance (3/5): When I think of a speakeasy, I think intimate. The White Rabbit is not that. It's pretty large for a speakeasy with a large bar and a good number of tables/booths. They weren't at capacity while I was there, but there were a good number of people there. Which made it pretty loud. To the point where you have to yell at your bartender when ordering your drink so they can hear you. Perhaps a much different experience on a week day. Getting in the speakeasy was both a hit and a miss. If you're subscribed to their email list, as I am, you get a different password every month. I was excited about this. Upon approaching The White Rabbit, I saw a sign naming the establishment and pointing me in the right direction. This takes away from the spirit of speakeasies which are supposed to be truly hidden without any signage identifying the restaurant. You'll see a velvet rope blocking a stairwell where you tell one of the bouncers the password. I had a reservation. If you don't know the password, as another party there didn't, they ask you to access a QR code to find out or ask others who are waiting. I appreciated the dedication to the cause. Once you get in, you walk down the stairwell, and then enter a cool hallway decked out with Prohibition-style decor. That leads you into the main room. The main room is also Prohibition-style though a bit unremarkable. The bathrooms are clean and also feature some cool paintings (and they also hide that they are actual bathrooms). With that being said, when I liked the hallway and the bathrooms better than the bar itself, that's a bit of an issue. Seats at the bar are bar stools without back support. Never fun for my old man back. I did, on the other hand, appreciate that they have free WiFi. Service (3.5/5): The service was generally pretty good, though a bit slow. They start you off with some water without asking you which is always a nice touch. It was just one of those situations where you have to put some effort into getting a bartender's attention on several occasions. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so no food for me. I did check out the menu. They have a small selection of appetizers, flatbreads, and desserts. Drinks (3/5): When I'm at a speakeasy, I'm looking for creativity and an interesting blend of ingredients and flavors. While The White Rabbit has a good number of cocktails, many of them didn't attract me. Part of it is a matter of personal preference. There were only two drinks out of about 20 that I was interested in. Overall, I wanted a little more, but with that being said, the drinks were reasonably priced for a speakeasy. Not a bad speakeasy by any means, I have super high standards when it comes to these watering holes. Just not in my top five when it comes to speakeasies in Phoenix and surrounding areas.

I love the giant disco balls and the aesthetic of this place. We started with the appletini and lemongrass highball (non-alcoholic). My friend and I ended up switching drinks because we liked each other's more than our own. For the second round, we ordered the brandy spritz and primrose martini. We weren't fans of the brandy spritz, although my friend grew into it. The primrose martini was quite good, I liked it better than the appletini. For snackies, we ordered the glizzy gaunlet, which was basically a tower of carbs. It came with 5 mini dogs with milk bread, and potato wedges. There were 3 sauces, my favorite in order were the: truffle dijonnaise, kosho aioli, and korean ketchup. We enjoyed this more than the food at Filthy Animal. Although it was pricey ($22) for just carbs and hardly any protein. The milk bread was delicious and the mini dogs were pretty good too. The potato wedges were cooked perfectly, slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would I return? Probably not. The food was better than the drinks but it wasn't outstanding.
