This location just opened in the very beginning of December and had a pretty decent crowd for a Friday night, which was great as I wish this establishment the best of success! They are a gem in this area as they have an amazing tap selection, and packaged items to purchase. The owners are extremely down to earth and friendly, which will quickly make this my go to for drinks with friends since it is less than 2 miles from my house. On this visit, I decided to make my own flight (the owners plan to introduce flights in the future) of the four sours on the menu. They offer a 5oz and 10oz pour, which is nice if you are wanting to try multiple items and not sure you want a full pour to try. My friend is celiac, but was still able to enjoy two items on tap and the owners mentioned more to come! Love that this can be a safe place for us to both go out as they handled food allergies with care with tasty options to boot! Though this location is new, they have quick service and a great set up. There is more artwork to come but the interior is very stunning already! The wooden bar was handcrafted and truly breathtaking to admire while we sipped and chatted. Definitely be back soon & hope the community goes out to support this new local business!

Great mellow place with an awesome choice of beers on tap. There is also a large selection of beers and wine in the coolers. All and all swing in and have a pint or flight you won't be disappointed.

Stopped in on a Saturday evening to meet up with 2 friends. This taproom is located in a cozy corner with a few other establishments, but the parking lot is a decent size and has plenty of space for comfortable parking. Inside the taproom, there is a large bar with lots of seating (guessing about 15-20 stools) and other seating areas/high top tables for enjoying a good drink with good company. They have a ton of different games to play during your visit. I really love the vibe of this place and the theme is so fun. They have a generous amount of drink options on tap as well as a large cooler area with drinks that are pre-packaged to enjoy during your visit as well as to purchase to take home. Since this is a tap room, food is not severed but there are bags of chips (4 for $5) if the hunger bug gets the best of ya. The bartender was super friendly and engaged in conversation while having a full bar and keeping up on bar duties. Stop on in if you're in the area, you don't have to love cats to be welcomed!

Hiked Wind Cave and stopped in for a beer. We loved the service and atmosphere. Will be back!

There is hardly ever a wait time the staff is very attentive and kind. The location is great and centralized in Tempe. Food is great, and they have a reserve happy hour after 8 pm where you can get $4 beers?! Sign me up! The food is great priced, fresh, and very diverse, where else in the valley can you get poutine, salmon salad, and chicken egg rolls in the same day? Most notably, their Brickhouse wings with Oatmeal Stout BBQ were so good I had to come back for more (no picture, we devoured these almost immediately). The beer-flavored desserts and beer-themed menu items really kept on theme for the brewery. The beers are exceptional, and they keep a rotating tap of local beers and classic favorites. I especially love that they partner with local producers to create their food and beverage menus. This place is a must-visit.

So, if you are like me, & don't bring your license, you have been warned. Two, the menu is not the one online. They have updated it, & some things are not available. Additionally, the prices on the menus in the restaurant are not accurate. For example, the happy hour menu says the pretzels are $7, but they are $8. The pretzels are the best we have ever tasted. I'm not exactly sure why, but perhaps because they are soft & so fresh. Hubby got a Mexican larger with lime & loved it. I got tall Tito's & cranberry juice. It was good, but a lite pour. Hubby got the Reuben & fries. He said it was very good. He liked hoe the meat was all grilled. I got the French dip & fries. The French dip was good, but I would have preferred a bun not so soft since the Au jus is so good & makes the bread soggy. The one disappointing was neither one of our fries were hot or even warm.

Chupacabra was open, was a three-minute drive, and had excellent reviews. So my decision was made. I parked on the street for free a minute away on foot. Ambiance (3.5/5): Pretty much your typical beer bar. Relatively small inside, but they also have a patio out front with picnic style seating. Casual. My type of bar. My only complaint? I hate picnic style seating because it doesn't give you back support. Which made me want to avoid the patio. Service (5/5): Super friendly service. The guy working the bar did a great job. I ordered one beer and called it a night. A seamless experience from beginning to end. They also have complimentary water in a water cooler, which is always a nice ou Food (N/A): I read they have food trucks, but I didn't see any when I visited. I had dinner prior anyway. Drinks (4.5/5): I love trying new beers and Chupacabra has an excellent selection. They have a rotating screen above the bar. Some interesting brews, ranging from local craft brews to quality European beers. This is not the type of place that has your typical assortment of mediocre beers. You'll find a lot better here. Overall, a cool spot in downtown Mesa. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in the neighborhood!

There are so many breweries and pubs around here that there's pretty tough competition. As other reviewers have stated, their duck fat fries are great! So crispy and the herbs really elevate it. They can be a little heavy handed with the salt to the point where you may see salt piles on your fries, but at least the salt granules are larger and can be easily swept off. Although their fries are great on their own, they unfortunately struggle to strand up when loaded. I'm not sure how they do it, but we've been to places where fries can remain crispy even when loaded with toppings. Their poutine is still tasty though if you don't mind your fries soggy. Their burgers have great beefy flavor, but after trying a few of their burger options, my partner and I also feel that some other places do their unique burger stylings a bit better. A lot of the toppings overwhelm rather than contribute to the overall burger. There's plenty of searing both indoors and out. You have bar top, high table, and regular table style seating for indoors. There's plenty of 4 person tables outdoors under shade and also with misters on if it's hot out. Indoor seating offers plenty of viewing for sports. Service is also pleasant. Due to how they source their ingredients, the overall menu is on the pricier side. Although my partner and I prefer other breweries more, we do think it's still worth it to try visiting Arizona Wilderness Brewing at least once.

I enjoyed the blonde more, but that's simply due to I've moved away from IPAs in general. During our visit they had 5 beers on tap made by Patent 139, and other guest taps as well. The story of the owner is interesting with his ties to Ballast Point and the Hass avocado. We sat in the bar area. Bartender was friendly and attentive.
