Pretzel with sausage and potatoes

This is a great place for some German food, it's off cave creek and bell road. It has a big outside, a bar, and plenty seating inside. The wait took a while, but the food was really good and had lots of flavors.

What a hidden gem! We've lived by here for over 4 yrs and always meant to stop. We finally did and WOW! Great, friendly service! Menu explained in full! We got The Wurst Case plate to share. A little bit of everything and definitely enough for 2. So delicious and home cooked! The music was a bonus! Don't miss out!

Great spot so unexpected. Full on Biergarten with in door and large outdoor dinning options. The staff was very friendly and checked on use often. The food tasted great and the portions are huge. They have a nice sports bar area and full bar along with several beers on tap. Clean restrooms! We will definitely be back

Always a must do for us when we come to visit. Sometimes they have live music. Staff is always so nice, always helpful. Food is so good!

Giant pretzel

Typical Biergarten vibes. The servers seemed nice and the place seems like it could get pretty loud. We had the giant pretzel with beer cheese sauce to start and I got the chicken paprikash. It was served lukewarm and not hot but it was tasty. It was even better when I got it home and reheated it.

Pretzel bites with beer cheese and Hungarian Turf cakes with cranberry. Martini also in the background.

This place is a family favorite for us. Went to celebrate Father's Day this time. Service was excellent as always. Menu has been updated a bit and there are now a couple cocktails. My mom loved the martini and I thought the highball was excellent as well. I had the eisbein and it was delicious. Of course the food is always amazing. Live music makes for a lively vibe. Always a welcoming and fun place to grab an excellent bite!

Went there for the first time for a Friday night date with my husband. The atmosphere is very cool and casual with someone playing music at the stage. Emily made a very big difference in our experience too. She recommended 2 of the best dishes so we can share, pretzel with cheese dip which were heavenly, and she even nailed down our beers only by describing what we liked. We will be coming back for sure :)

My son and I are in town for the 2025 AAE Arizona Cup and looking for interesting places to eat. I love German food and so we gave Edelweiss a whirl. Interesting neighborhood but does have private parking. Folks out jogging so appears safe. German decor as expected. Created by three different folks on the way in. Seated in a booth as it was cool for outside. Very friendly waitress. Found a delicious sounding beer off of their extensive tap list which is front and back of a nice menu. I opted for my usual Jagerschnitzel with red cabbage and cucumber salad. Joseph had the Hungarian Sausage and cheesy spatzle. All was good. As you can see for some reason they opted to put the mushroom gravy in a cup instead of on the huge piece of meat could have used more gravy but was still tasty. Theee was live music during the meal that was good. Fun place and great service and good food.

We came back and tried other things on the menu, everything we ordered from beer to food was delicious! It's sometimes nice to indulge in things I normally don't eat or drink and this place always satisfies. For appetizers we had the pogi which is Hungarian dinner rolls with their fantastic homemade cranberry sauce. Never thought I would like cranberry sauce as much as I do now. I ordered the Jager Schnitzel, all their schnitzels are ginormous and delicious! My BF got the Hackbraten, not my cup of tea but he devour the plate.

I'm not sure why I haven't been to this place before! We visited on a Wednesday night, and they had a trivia night going on. We found seats at the bar and got to try some beer samples that the friendly waitress kindly offered. The vibe was great, with lots of charming German mug decor. The trivia players seemed to be having a blast. I ordered the pork with potatoes. While the pork was just okay, the potatoes were fantastic and brought back memories of the ones my dad used to make when we were kids. The sauerkraut was also delicious--sweet and tasty.

The girls and I went to check it out and we fell IN LOVE!!! The food was amazing. Every single one of us were satisfied with our plates. The flavor was top tier. There's live performance, and the staff members are friendly. 10/1 recommend!

Best Beer!

The food was amazing and so incredibly authentic! We started with pretzel bites and Opa's favorite. Opa's favorite took us by surprise! Such a unique combo of fried cheese and homemade cranberry sauce. Around the table, we had Hungarian sausage, smoked brats, Huhnerschnitzel, and Jager Schnitzel. Everyone was immersed in the food. My father in law (Danish) kept taking about how the red cabbage and sauerkraut tasted like his childhood. All around 10 out of 10 on the dinner! We ordered one of each dessert and took turns sharing bites of each. The Apple strudel was a big hit. But the German chocolate cake and black forest cake were just decent. The boys started with a flight of beers and were very impressed with the selection ! You get four 4oz beers. We gave our server some selective freedom, and she nailed it! She made sure that each person's four were different from the other others so there was a lot of selection and variety. At 6 PM a gentleman came in with an accordion and started playing live music. It was just perfect! Not too loud that we couldn't enjoy our time together, but loud enough that you could enjoy the music. Our server was the best! Perfectly checking in just as much as we needed and making great suggestions along the way. We had not even left before my in-laws were asking when we wanted to come back and dine again. This is a hidden gem of the valley!!

I heard zero complaints from my friends. i emailed Fate about 10-ish days before the event to make sure they were aware of the event so they could be staffed appropriately and to insure we were all able to sit next to each other. 14/10 would do it again.

My friend had a pizza and there was virtually nothing on it. He said it was not good. I can't say because I didn't try it. I had one of the hamburgers. The bun and the accoutrements were fine. The hamburger patties themselves were pathetic. I think I've had better hamburger at Jack in the box. These were extremely thin and had no flavor whatsoever. The best thing was the service. Every time I have been here, the service has been excellent. The servers really seem to want to please. Also, I like the beer. I don't love it because they don't cater to my particular tastes, which run to darker beers, oatmeal stout, darker Ambers. I won't be coming back anytime soon. I'm sorry, but if you can't get a hamburger right and you serve me a patty that is unrecognizable as such, you've probably lost my business.

At that point I had to tell her we were actually ready to order food. I understand that it's a brewery and many people come for the beer, but it's still a restaurant and we came primarily for the food with our kids. The service throughout the visit felt slow and disorganized. After our food arrived, no one checked back on us at all. We were especially looking forward to trying the brown butter cookie for dessert, but since no one came by, we eventually had to flag down a server just to get the check. By that point we decided not to order dessert and just leave. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the lack of attention and slow service.

Most notably, their Brickhouse wings with Oatmeal Stout BBQ were so good I had to come back for more (no picture, we devoured these almost immediately). The beer-flavored desserts and beer-themed menu items really kept on theme for the brewery. The beers are exceptional, and they keep a rotating tap of local beers and classic favorites.
