Great outdoor/indoor brewery in Phoenix to grab a bite and a beer with friends! I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend for some food and drinks. We got a spot on the mostly shaded outdoor patio, which is a very big space with a lot of tables available. It is also dog-friendly, and several people had their dogs out as well. I ordered the Oklazona burger with fries and the rose cider. The rosemary seasoned fries were great, especially with the garlic aoili on the side. Good solid burger that was filling, and the cider was nice and refreshing. It's nice that you can just open a tab for both food and drinks and order from either bar as well as the food counter. We are regulars at Wilderness and we love it. Anytime we have friends in town and want to grab a drink or a bite downtown, Wilderness is one of our main go-tos. It's a relaxed atmosphere with seating both indoors and out, dog friendly, fire pits for the evening and misters for when it's hot. Service is always super kind. Love the door man- he's always in a good mood and friendly. We generally get their house made fingers and fries. Their fried chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, paired with delicious honey mustard. Their fries are fresh with rosemary and sea salt. While it's hard for me to stray from my usual order, I've tried their salads and burgers as well- they never miss. As for drinks, they have really excellent cider and frozen cocktails. I'm not a beer drinker myself, so I really appreciate their variety. They also have nonalcoholic sodas that are super unique flavors including blood orange (my personal favorite). I have a high regard for tacos that are fresh and creative and does not go too far on the fusion. The other taco I got was the pork and they had cuts of avocado with their house salsa and overall it was a great mix. One thing that I did not agree with on yelp was the cauliflower appetizer. I stopped by Arizona Wilderness DTPHX to meet up with my bestie for an afternoon drink. I was able to grab a table inside and ordered through their QR code menu, which was super easy to use. Once you place your table order the bartender brings it to your table. I ended up with the Frozen Rosé which was actually really refreshing and pretty tasty! I got a flight of palisade peach, a blueberry cider, cactus juice and hibiscus tangelo. All are good but that blueberry has my heart.
