We had the most incredible experience here! We showed up with a group of 40 people, and the team didn't miss a beat. The food came out quickly and was absolutely amazing everything was fresh and on point. They had a live DJ who made the night such a fun memorable experience for our whole group. A huge shoutout to Katelyn, the manager, who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we had an unforgettable time. This review is about the service as our server was apparently agitated because the hostess let us sit in their section. Long story short, we ordered a to-go burger to take to a family member that was not with us. We ordered the burger, the server asked "kids burger?" , we replied no-just a regular burger. We boxed up our remaining food as well and paid via the handheld POS (with 20% tip) and were asked if we wanted a receipt, we declined and left. We come to find out as we delivered the burger to our family member that what was boxed up for us was just a meat patty. Nothing more, just a patty. I have no idea what we paid for this, as I declined my receipt--but in what world does a customer order a meat patty to go? Can't say I'll be excited to come back to Pedal Haus as there are several different breweries nearby that likely have a good burger that isn't just a meat patty. read more

I enjoyed my 2 visits here this week. I wish I'd had time for dinner. I saw amazing dishes go by. Pizza!!! The servers were so very friendly. The patrons were as well. Like a hometown bar. I really like this place, the location and rooftop are just great. I came in for a happy hour drink and snack the other day, and it was the perfect place. We had cocktails and a dessert. We got a bit caught up in chatting so needed some extra time with the menu. Our server was patient and kind. My only negative is the parking. Maybe I parked in the wrong place, but it wasn't well marked so I ended up in a lot that charged me $14 for an hour. Football Sunday here was fun. Busy and loud, which is expected, but they got us in immediately which was great. The parking is not great though, you'll have to pay at a meter or garage (unless there's free parking somewhere that I haven't found yet). The food: immaculate. I've been here a couple times now and everything hits just right. This time we had brunch, my chicken was not super seasoned but paired with the waffles, it was perfect (ask for extra syrup on the side, trust me). Beer brat was very good dipped in the syrup or on its own, and the hash tasted sooo good. The sauce makes it. Last time we came at night and got the Doc pizza (hot honey and jalapeno) and the hot honey wings. Wings were decent, nothing special, but the pizza was to die for. I LOVED the salad- perfect mix of sweet and savory- I think it would've been nice with more chicken but it was good- and they gave me enough dressing (two). I was a little worried because it wouldn't give me a space in the app to ask for more dressing but it was enough. I wanted to get the wing sauce on the side but it didn't give me an option so I opted for naked. It was alright- less crispy than what I would've liked but that could be due to me not eating it right when it came out. My only concern is that I found a small hair at the bottom of the food- so I had to toss it. read more

One of my favorite breweries in downtown Phoenix! It has seating downstairs as well as upstairs! Very spacious and lots of TVs with plenty of seating! A good variety of cocktails and IPAs to choose from. Service was mediocre and could be more attentive. It's usually pretty loud in there so it might be hard to communicate with each other. I usually went there on Friday or Saturday nights and it's usually pretty packed! They have Happy Hour but it's only on the weekdays 3-6pm! $2 off selected haus beers, $5 well drinks, $6 margaritas/wines, $2 off selected steins. $5 corn dogs, $6 loaded fries, $7 por sliders, $7 fried pork schnitzel sandwich, and $9 burger There are a lot of options on the menu, such as a good variety of burgers and finger foods like nachos and wings! Pricing is reasonable (most items are under $20!) The nachos ($13) were pretty good and loaded with queso, pico de Gallo, chilli and the option to add meat for $7 and fresh guac +$3! Chips were seasoned well and very crispy! Also, there is an option for vegan nachos for $13 too! I would say it's 7/10. The spinach and artichoke dip was amazing and the pita was delicious but the pita to dip ratio was way, way off. We were generous in our dips and we still only ate half the dip. For the price we paid they could have included more pita. Service was nice, but not overly attentive. Two very young men working dropped multiple dishes when bussing tables which was slightly disruptive and they were more interested in talking to one another than actually doing their jobs well. read more

We came in for game 7 of the World Series. They have the sound on their TVs above the bar behind the bar there's also football on. It's an energetic vibe. The serving staff here are happy. Beer, we ordered a flight. I got a Coffee Break Ale that is amazing. I've had other coffee beer but this is a little bit lighter so I do like the light side flavor of that. We ordered a Dortmunder that I've never heard of and it's fabulous might be my favorite. Also ordered a Kolsch that was little bit boring and flat, but overall a good beer and then we also ordered a Belgian Blanche Wit beer and it tastes just like a Hefeweizen. A local described Pedal Haus to us as, "a brewery that brews drinking beer." & I agree- average drinking beer- offering hearty craft varieties (pale ales, stouts, IPAs, and more)- they have a lot of options for any taste preference- the ambiance was very big "for the masses" bar scene- finding street parking was a bit hard- wait to be seated, then was noisy, packed - though the wait staff was very attentive & allowed time for speaking through beer preference styles, while offering taste samples before committing to full pour we went on HH (3-6pm)- ordered the Voltage Black IPA & White Rabbit-but I also tried the Shift, Kush, and Coffee Pale Ale- The White Rabbit was my highest rated beer- 5untapped stars for hoppy cold crispness- The others all fell within 2-3 stars for 'drinkable, but not notable"- I think the beer is great for those mildly into the craft beer scene- again there is something for everyone; easy smooth, average flavor- but as IPA-let's say aficionado-I want a bit of specialty pop, zest, wow to my beer they'd be good for a party to stock the fridge for guests- glad we got to try, I agree with their high likeability- just not a standout experience overall read more

When a reservation to another nearby place fell through ( totally my fault ), we ended up here. The restaurant looks really cool inside with exposed bricks and bicycles as decor. Our server was really nice and friendly. The cocktails were weak. Hubby even said he thought they forgot to put the liquor in his. Very disappointing. The burgers were okay. Not bad, just average burgers. The atmosphere is fun, and the food was good enough. I might come back to give it another try (it could have been an off day that day), and I will try the new one in downtown Mesa when it opens. A decent brewery on Roosevelt Row - Roosevelt Row is lacking in places where you can watch sports, and this makes a decent place to watch some games throughout the day and evening. The beer is pretty good but not great, pretty good food (great wings for a bar) with a lot of options that can accommodate gluten free needs, and generally I've enjoyed the bartending service there as well. During the non-summer months the upstairs patio is pretty nice. It does seem, perpetually, like food orders can get delayed or have issues (me and my partner once both got almost raw burgers after a 40 minute wait, but they made it right by giving us a gift card in addition to replacing the order), but otherwise this is a pretty good place if you're hungry and want some beer with decent amount of TVs and good AC. read more

NYE was chaotic due to severe overcrowding and visibly poor crowd management. Instead of directing guests professionally, a blonde staff member stood directly behind me without saying excuse me or attempting to communicate, then began yelling at patrons about needing to 'form a line'--an unrealistic demand given how packed the space was. What stood out immediately was her lack of authority and professionalism, made worse by a presentation that did not read as staff or appropriate for managing a packed venue (a black dress paired with sneakers). The overall effect was confusion rather than leadership. When I made a brief, joking comment about how drunk and tightly packed everyone was, she became hostile and said, 'Be nice, I have the power to kick you out,' before storming away. Shortly after, she reported to management that I was trying to fight her--an allegation that was completely false and came out of nowhere. Brunette manager removed me without asking questions, verifying what happened, or attempting to de-escalate. The misuse of authority, false accusation, and complete absence of professionalism from both staff and management was embarrassing to witness. There are countless nearby bars that manage crowds without ego, threats, or staff who undermine their own authority. Afterwards my party and I went to Club Contact on van buren. HIGHLY recommend going there instead. read more

We ordered the Bavarian Pretzel (added the Biere Blanche beer cheese for $3 more), two of the Crispy 12-hour Wings, the Haus Mac 'N' Cheese, and two of the Short Rib French Dip. We also ordered drinks and the waitress told me the Guava Cider was good so I ordered that. The Bavarian Pretzel had three toppings/dips with the Biere Blanche beer cheese being the best to me. The Haus mustard was okay and the maple butter was good. The Haus Mac 'N' Cheese was good to me and same cheese as the Bavarian Pretzel. Now when it came time for the two Short Rib French Dip, the first one came with the other food but the second one didn't come until everybody at the table was already done. We had to ask the waitress a couple of times and another guy checked on us too. We weren't happy about how long it took to come out to us. The Short Rib French Dip was just okay since the bread was dry and only way to make it better was to dip the au jus a lot more. The fries were nothing special to me but wasn't bad.
