Came here on a Sunday morning. It was pretty much empty. There were maybe two other tables. The server was nice and she explained how it worked. The self serve tap room was a new concept to me I've never seen before but so cool. I love that if you didn't want a full drink, you could just fill it up to where you wanted although I wish you could try them before you had to pay for them. We ordered wings in the original flavor, but they ended up coming in Korean barbecue flavor, which was fine but they did take a long time about 45 minutes. The wings were big, but if I were to go back, I don't think I would get food again.
Went here for a special event. Great ambiance. We were given a bracelet that allows you to tap and pour your own glass. I don't like beer but tried and enjoyed a Strawberry Mojito cider. I also enjoyed their wings (which had a kick) and French fries. I would definitely go back to this spot. It's a vibe.
I came here while visiting my best friend. I really liked the set up of the spot. There was a big inside seating area and an outdoor seating area. We were a group of 7 so we ended up sitting outside. It was a little time consuming to check in and out since we were all on separate tabs but it was really easy for us to get what we want. I'm not a huge beer/cider drinker, so i only got 4 oz of a sour and it came out to be $5 which i think it pretty solid. They tvs outside and inside and also board games and couches to hang out on.
The young man acting as the host/server was very polite and checked in regularly. Of course, I was the only person inside for about 30 minutes... The fresh donuts were awesome. Also, much larger than I anticipated...I made it through three... Several of the taps were not functional or empty. Review would have been a star higher if this hadn't been an issue.
They have beer and wine. The place is clean and our server was kind and quick to take our empty glasses.
This place is great, these birria tacos they have are amazing which is unusual for a drinking place. We also love the tapping thing, drinks are really good and my husband who is into beers loves it too because of the great variety they always have. We have been here several times and will Continue to come
The food and service were great. We got the Steak, Eggs, and Cheese Sandwich, Eggs Benedict, and the Classic Breakfast. Everything was tasty, I especially liked the breakfast potatoes. Tap That is friendly and welcoming.
This place is pretty cool. You get to sample local breweries (and wineries) all in one place by using a keycard to tap each choice which will then release into your glass. Even if you just want a tiny pour to try it all or you can do full glasses, the amount is up to you! Your keycard will then record the amount and you close your tab at the end at the hostess stand.
We love this little jam in downtown Phoenix. It's been here for a few years. I always enjoy their staff and the great selection of beers and wines. When we have the opportunity, we always try and stop in.
Review is based solely on the food delivered to me at the Greenwood Brewery next door. I was pleasantly surprised that my braised pork rib sandwich had a spicy kick to it. This is a flavorful sandwich. The fries were thick and perfectly cooked. This menu is offered at the Greenwood Brewery while we were playing trivia on a Tuesday evening. I'm going to using Tap That again for my dinner on Tuesdays!
This place had a nice little vibe to it. I wish they had more selection of beers and wine. A lot of beers were out when I went there. As for the food. It was ok. Typical bar food. The boneless wings though were pretty salty. It was just so salty. I wouldn't get them again. Overall our visit here was ok.
Rosie was awesome. My first time here and I'm a fan. I love that they give you a fob to tap the selections that are on tap. mostly beer, but a few wine choices. my friends got a bottle of sparkling wine that was delicious. and the pretzel board and donuts were yummy too. This is a cool place to try a Variety of drinks: Wine IPAs Porter Ciders Brown Ales Nitro It's self serve. You pay by the ounce. The employees were so friendly and genuinely helpful. They may have food but I am not sure as we had already eaten so we just had drinks. It's definitely a casual hangout and a fun place to spend the afternoon. read more

We weren't super impressed by this bar, but mostly because we didnt like the self service model. If that's your thing, you might be more happy. For the same price,we prefer having a bartender and colder beer and iced beer glasses. The selection was good and the price was fair. We enjoyed the outdoor seating. read more

Hosted my 49th birthday party here and it did not disappoint! The food was incredible, the drinks were on point, and the staff was amazing from start to finish. They made the whole night effortless and fun. Such a great vibe--can't wait to come back! read more

Great portions! Not too much food, just enough to feel full. The server was nice and helpful. The drinks weren't bad and neither was the price! Got a good amount of drinks for a reasonable price. We did go during happy hour but we would go again even if it wasn't. Too bad we're 4 hours away! read more

Very upset that Sunday Dinner had to cancel on the menu. Was looking forward to the fried chicken,candid yams. But the mimoasa were very good I had the sausage flatbread pizza . The music was light with a good beat will be back read more

Super cute spot with outdoor and indoor areas. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Great concept of pouring your drink with a good selection of beers. Highly recommend the truffle fries read more
Great service, great food, and a great time. We really enjoyed our time at Tap That. There were so many beer options and we were happy to see they had a lot of local beers to try. It was so fun being able to sample so many different types of beers. We also got a salad and the truffle fries and they were both so good! We also were very impressed with the people who were working. They were all working so hard to do their best and give the best to their customers. What an awesome experience! I love the concept. When you register/enter, you show your license and leave a credit card with the hostess. They then give you a fob/key to serve yourself any of the wine/beer that's on tap. You are charged by the ounce. Everyone uses a new glass for each refill. I tried the reisling, which was not bad at all. It was very crisp, refreshing. The food was amazing! I tried the Street Cesar with chicken! Yuuuuuuuuuuum! The pretzel board was very filling! It was loaded with cheese, meats, nuts, veggies, and two dipping sauces. The service was wonderful! I was lucky enough to go on a Wednesday when Jack Trivia was going on. It was so much fun!! Love the beer here and that It's self served. Great atmosphere as well. I've only been on first Fridays but they have live music and great food. Tried the pretzel board which is good to share and the spicy chicken Alfredo which was bomb. Love coming here read more
Came here on a random Wednesday while visiting for a week. Ordered the beef nachos and the blue cheese chips. Both dishes are savory and heavy but delicious. They're the type of dishes you have to eat quick and while hot because it's that good. Highlight The blue cheese chips are made with sweet potato waffles and topped with a blue cheese sauce, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, and a stout reduction which is more like a sweet maple glaze or gravy. It's creamy and delicious. The cool part about our visit was that we stumbled upon trivia night and decided to play which was fun and unexpected, trivia night is every Wednesday and prizes are involved if you do well . read more

I love the self pour beer places, though you should always be cautious how many pours you get and how filled your cup is- you always end up drinking more than you realize if you are not keeping track. They definitely have a good selection of light to dark beers, ciders and a small selection of wines. I appreciated that quite a few beers are from local AZ breweries and made it a priority to try those. I found a cider that I loved and actually went back for a second pour - six byrd blueberry lemonade. Location is nice and interior felt small (for large crowds- total assumption), but I thought it was perfect for when we went because there was only one other party there. It was a very enjoyable experience and I think it'd be a great hang out spot for both large or small groups. Again, great selection of local beers to try if you like sampling like I do. read more
My friends: Don't go to bars Me, an intellectual: But what if they don't require human contact to get drinks? And therein lies the premise of Tap That: After your initial check in, you actually don't have to interact with anybody to get what you want. Grab your fob (that's the electronic key used to activate taps), leave your credit card at the front desk, and get ready to have fun. This system could not have picked a better time to debut downtown! My favorite aspect of drinking here is exactly how picky I get to be. Sure it's just beer and wine, but you'll be in total control of your order. If you want to try 8 different beers, you don't have to painstakingly choose a flight, and you don't have to commit to full pints. You can just grab a few small glasses of whatever you'd choose, and the price per oz. as well as the ABV% are displayed on the screen. There are about 25 beers and 5 wines to choose from at any given time, and the variety is switched up so often that no two visits will be the same. There is *always* something new, so your trip here will always be exciting. The food menu is safe bar food ranging from burgers and brats to salads to even breakfast. It's big enough so that anyone in your party will be happy. The portions are great, and the prices are more than fair. I am craving their signature burger (topped with peppered bacon, generous garlic aioli) as I type! Are there service issues? Yes. Sometimes, you will have to chase down forgetful, inattentive, or even rude staff members to place food orders or reactivate your FOB, which will automatically cut you off every 32 ounces (it does not matter if those ounces were a strong wine or a weak beer, it's just a volume limit). Rather than single out any bad actors, I would like to highlight Jason, who is kind, communicative, and timely. If he is not already in some sort of leadership position, he needs to be promoted! He's the best here and one of the best anywhere on the block. Let him train the rest of your staff and you'll be in great shape. Finally, there's a sort of X factor I'm going to throw into every Roosevelt Row review from now on: Support for the arts. If you are going to move here, especially from another state, you've gotta support the folks who put this neighborhood on the map. And those folks are the painters, performers, writers, and more who have suffered immense blows to their livelihoods in the past year. So consider selling their paintings on your walls, booking more live performances, and advertising the rest of the local 'scene' as it begins to reemerge. For now, I am happy to report that Tap That is indeed off to a good start in this respect, and I'm proud of them. I can't wait to take more friends here and show them a fun time. read more
I'm surprised by how busy this place gets. I was hoping the pour your own concept would be cheaper, since you're only paying for the product, but you're paying for the novelty. They're close to having something for everyone, but I would love to see some kind of cocktail or frozen drink on tap. There's a pretty good variety of beer, but if you're not a beer drinker, it's not the place for you. I would probably eat elsewhere if I came again. Our table's food was ok but not amazing. There are better $14 plates of mac and cheese within walking distance. It's fully self-serve so there's nothing much to say about the service. I appreciate the way they made it easy to serve yourself, though. read more
Super fun concept and a great place for happy hour with friends. There is a wall of self serve beers to choose from - you hold a key fob they give you up to your chosen beer (or wine) and pay by the ounce. It's not the cheapest way to drink beer, but it's fun! Tap That has a chill vibe with coffee house aesthetics. I loved the interior design. There is great outdoor seating as well. Also the food is delicious! I can't wait to try other items on their menu. Overall this is a fun place to catch up with friends and I would highly recommend. read more

I am a visitor and this was a cute little place to stop into. There was no one there for the first hour so it was awesome to enjoy the music and time by myself. The server/host was quick to help me and explained how the beers and wines work. You were given a tap device to pick from one of the many beers/wines. I chose to get Hot Chicken Sandwich which was one of the best I've had in awhile & I also got the Chicken Elote Tacos. The flavor for the tacos was everything, it was sweet and a little spicy. My friends and I loved this place! It was a really cool concept where they have beer and wine on tap and you control how many ounces you pour yourself in your glass. You use a fob to be able to access the pours and keep track of the ounces you drink to be able to pay at the end. Super cool idea and so happy they had wine on tap because I'm not the biggest fan of beer. read more

Tap That was such a cool, chill spot to enjoy some draft beers and yummy food. The outside looks like a house and when you walk in, it is just as cozy. Staff was super nice and explained how the "self serve" tap works. I really liked the concept of you serving yourself your own beer and with the many options to choose from, it's really nice! I ordered truffle fries to start with - perfection w/ the addition of Parmesan cheese and then shared the bbq chicken flatbread - my husband was shocked at how good it was. This is definitely a spot to checkout when in downtown - Roosevelt row. read more

SELF POUR TAP HOUSE This is a fun place with a great variety of local and reginal beer, wine, and ciders that is all self pour. They also have a small menu with a great mix of flat breads, nachos, wings, and more. Penny provided some amazing service and definitely added to the experience. Another DTPX hot spot to either start your night off or pit stop when making your rounds on @rooseveltrowcdc .
