Can't believe I haven't gone sooner! The only deterrent to go back is downtown parking. We sat outside since inside was freezing! Outside is just as high class and wonderfully decorated as the inside. We even got a couch booth and got to sit next to each other. We did the summer special which was the best special I've ever seen. $60 per person and you get a generous glass of wine, app, entree, and dessert. We both got the curried corn bisque for the app and my oh my I greatly enjoyed this even on a hotter day. The Smokey popcorn was a nice textural addition and the soup was so flavorful, the curry definitely shined through! We also both got the fried chicken for entrees; how could I not order the gluten free fried chicken!? Yes, naturally gluten free! This was outstanding. I'm not sure what the coating is, but it was so so flavorful and so crispy, and the chicken still so juicy. I could eat that on its own. The pepper jems were a cute touch! The mashed potatoes were so creamy. The chicken was placed on top of them so the bottom of the chicken did get soggy so my one suggestion is to place the chicken to the side, but the coating did rub into the potatoes which added some more flavor. The green beans were also tasty, nothing special, but the pistachio butter elevated it (nothing else needed the pistachio butter, not sure what else you use it for). I had a chocolate cake for dessert, the only gluten free dessert they offered me, but I still appreciate the option. It was just okay. The cake was dense and a little dry and didn't scream rich chocolate. There was a chocolate mousse layered in which helped. My boyfriend had some sort of strawberry cake mousse thing with layers of many different things - he thought it okay, I tried the mousse part and really liked it. We had red wine and it was delicious! The service was great, very attentive and they packed some ice in a cup for me because we weren't going home after! read more

Great food, ambiance and service! We came here because we noticed the extensive vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. We tried the kobacha hummus and the roasted poblano risotto. Wow! They definitely know how to elevate vegetables. We were so impressed with the flavor and the way the vegetables and risotto were cooked. The presentation was wonderful and you can tell that these vegan dishes were not an afterthought. Much love is put into their food! read more

Even though it's a 3, it's a 3.75. We scheduled a reservation for 7:30 on a Saturday night. We got lucky with street parking. The inside is gorgeous and the light fixtures are so pretty with the lighting beeming. The restaurant is freezing so being a sweater or sit outside. It was beautiful outside, very earthy feels but we were placed at the table in front of the door and felt the artic, cold draft every time someone went inside in or out. The staff was rather quiet and dull. No one really interacted with us. We said less than 3-4 full sentences with the server. The food was good. We got the bread board. The fig jam is incredible. The salmon with zater seasoning tastes blackened but the citrus bourbon glaze made the dish. The risotto was the best dish! It would be better if the carrots and asparagus were chopped up and in the risotto. The risotto was so flavorful. Shrimp was good but please take off the salad garnish because it has no dressing and just felt like it was there to fill the bowl, but we would order it again! I would come back but it wouldn't be a staple. The food was great but there was no experience for this price. read more

The ambiance and overall aesthetic of this place are absolutely beautiful--it's a great spot for lunch or dinner with friends, a relaxed date night, or even just drinks. That said, my experiences with service have been inconsistent. My husband and I came in for breakfast one morning and, while the server seemed to be doing his best, he appeared overwhelmed and possibly understaffed. It took quite a while before we were greeted, and service throughout the meal felt slow as he juggled multiple tables. On a separate visit, I ordered takeout. Unfortunately, the hostess who greeted me wasn't very welcoming, and there was another noticeable wait before my food was ready. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but I will say the burger itself was excellent--great flavor, a nice char, and a generous portion of fries. Overall, this place has a lot of potential given its atmosphere and food quality, but improving customer service--especially front-of-house friendliness and efficiency--would make a big difference. If you're already staying at the hotel, it's worth checking out, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to return. read more

Carcara - Breakfast Buffet $25pp April 2026 - Lounges Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Went for brunch on Saturday and I have to say, this place really impressed me. First off, they offer you a $5 mimosa for your first one and it was huge! We sat outside in a comfy couch and had nice views of the city. The server was attentive and confident with his suggestions of which dishes to recommend. Only thing I would change is that the brisket Benedict came with more brisket lol. read more

Everything was fabulous here!! I visited here on the fourth of July!! I ordered the summer hydration salad and it was delicious. My friend got the goddess salad with salmon. The decor and ambience are phenomenal. They have indoor and outdoor seating and nice large patio. Highly recommend it! We also got the hummus as an appetizer and my only feedback is that we got our dinner, but got our appetizers until later. read more

Carcara is a fantastic way to have a meal while visiting the famous Tlaquepaque Village in Sedona, AZ. Great food, service, and location! A terrific Mexican restaurant will hit the spot for you, just make sure to get here early! I loved the decor and ambience inside this restaurant! And since it's in the shopping village, you don't need to go somewhere else to eat your meal! And you certainly don't want to miss browsing through this beautiful Indian village, one of the highlights of my trip to Sedona! The food was great. What can I say. My black cod with pumpkin flavored rice was absolutely fantastic! It was delicious and I ate every bite. The shrimp and grits were to die for! A pretty generous serving and very flavorful! I like the assortment of bread and spreads they brought out before the meal, a very nice touch I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're stopping in the Indian village to go shopping. It was one of my favorites of the trip, enjoy! read more

love the location and the vibe inside. i've always been a fan of this place. I've been here for dinner which is great. Brunch, however, was even better. We all had espresso martinis with tequila for sunday funday. The crab cake benedict was the best I've had - nice and crispy and flavorful. It was actually filling and i loved the watermelon. We also got free samples of champagne, so I couldn't complain. Great place to celebrate a birthday too! Our server Lilly was the absolute best. read more

We were sat in our own private room. Service was great, they were friendly and kept congratulating. The manager was nice too, he knew we were celebrating and treated us with treats! The drinks are big and strong! Worth the price. The desserts were rich in chocolate and yummy! Food was good, over a good choice. I would like to try the dinner menu for a date night. I will be back! Food was good but expensive. The place it's self was beautiful but the parking is a pain in the butt

This place is inside a hotel and is very cute. Ambiance can be somewhat loud probably due to that. We had different plates but shared the buffalo cauliflower, short rib, burger, and iberico Pork which were all great. Also we had a few drinks but didn't try the cocktails. The service was slow probably because it was NYE , will go back in another time to try other plates read more

We visited this establishment while attending a convention in Phoenix, AZ. Let me say, I've visited the Phoenix metro area before but not in July with 100+ degres temperatures, topping out at 116. Anyway, nicely designed restaurant with plenty of vegetation positioned throughout presenting an inviting space. On our visit we began with Happy Hour and blended into dinner. For Happy Hour we went with the buffalo cauliflower and loaded guacamole and charred tomato salsa. The paired these with a Chardonnay and an Old Fashioned. All were delicious. For dinner, my wife opted for the baby spinach salad featuring blackberries, candied walnuts, red onion, cucumber, cheese, and fig balsamic vinaigrette. She added a shrimp tostada. I began with Senoran Caesar salad that was simply delicious! It included romaine, queso fresco, mole croutons, cured tomatoes, and roman Caesar dressing. I added the wild Barramundi which was grilled perfectly with artichoke puree, asparagus dusted with paprika, and taragon brown butter. No complaints, what a tasty dish! For dessert, the whoopie pie trio and cotton dream Bundt, delicious! We sat at the bar and transitioned from HH to dinner. The bartender was great multitasking between serving drinks and tracking food orders. read more

Carcara at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix is a hotel restaurant that's worth visiting whether or not you're staying there. I've been there for dinner, but it's been a while and they change their menus often, so let's talk about brunch. Weekend brunch at Carcara is delightful. It's got a good mix of breakfast and lunch items, plus a full alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink menu. The boards are beautiful and impressively large. We tried the Surf board with two different kinds of salmon plus mini bagels and accoutrements like pickled red onion and cucumbers. I know that Carcara likes to incorporate citrus into its offerings, but I wish that the cream cheese was just plain and not citrus-infused. The pork chile verde skillet with eggs, potatoes, cheese and tortillas was delicious and filling, as was the espresso bacon jam short rib burger. (Don't worry--you can't taste any coffee flavor.) We also tried the Over-the-Top Strawberry Muffin, which was fantastic and more like a strawberry shortcake. Mimosas were on point as well. The one drawback of the meal were the gnats that bothered us--they're drawn to the live tree in the center of the restaurant. But they're not enough of a reason to stay away from this great downtown eatery. read more

While attending a conference in Arizona, I stayed at the Sheraton and decided to grab a quick bite at Carracas -- and I'm so glad I did! I sat at the bar for quicker service, and the bartender was excellent -- very attentive and friendly. He recommended a refreshing cocktail that hit the spot perfectly. I ordered a classic burger and fries, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The burger was cooked to perfection -- juicy, flavorful, and well-prepared. The fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and honestly better than I expected from a hotel restaurant. Carracas definitely exceeded my expectations. Great service, great food, and a convenient option if you're staying at the Sheraton. Would absolutely dine here again! read more

The food was terrible. My sweet potato was so hard and burnt I had to send it back. The next one was only slightly more edible but still burnt. The Crème Brûlée had not set properly and was runny and the caramelized sugar crust was not crispy at all, almost non existent. Maybe the real chef wasn't working that day. Ambience is ok but it does feel like a hotel restaurant...which is what it is. Not worth the money. The presentation of the food was great but looked better than it tasted. It's not cheap and there are far better places to spend your money read more

Ordered the bridge & tunnel watermelon cocktail, loaded guacamole and Cured Salmon Crostini. The cocktail was tasty, and I would get it again. The guacamole was because we were hungry, decent size to share for three people. I think the price is as expected for the cost of the other items. The salmon was pretty basic and the bread was really quite hard to the extent I was feeling like a cave man trying to chew it. Very cute inside and the service was standard. This was my first time here. The decor is amazing - bright colors, lighting, spacious. There's a very nice outdoor seating area. I'm with a party of about 20. We were seated upon arrival with more than half of the guests present. The staff were friendly. I ordered the Fork Tender Short Rib without mushrooms. It was delicious. Te meat was very tender. The pasta was cooked well. I enjoyed it. Our table ordered the apple pie and it came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We had our server cut it in 4 pieces. I typically do not eat apple pie. Wow, this hotel gem should be in your rotation. Ambience is perfect, bourbon and wine lists are above par, and the service was fantastic. The risotto, pork chop, Alaskan black cod and Three Sisters chicken were all outstanding.
