My husband ordered their restaurant week special, and it was pretty good; however, the jalapeño skillet cornbread was the star!! The lemon blueberry crumb cheesecake, unfortunately, was not our favorite. I ordered the macro bowl and added the blackened shrimp, and that was really refreshing and tasty! Our only issue was that everything came out at different times, which just didn't make it feel very cohesive, and our service was just okay. We were kind of set off to the side away from where there were a lot more tables, so it felt like we were kind of overlooked. Definitely a great spot for drinks and socializing. read more

Attended a work happy hour and dinner here and was a splendid time. We had a beautiful charcuterie board to pair with their signature cocktails and beverages. I was a really big fan of the selection of meats and cheeses. The servers were attentive and impressively remembered everyone's drinks. For dinner, we had the hummus platter to start which was very colorful and fun. the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I got the house salad along with the short rib entree. House salad was simple and clean, while the beef short rib was super tender and flavorful. It required no assistance from my knife. Lastly, we closed the night with a platter of different desserts. Suffice it to say we weren't disappointed and now have a new place to frequent. They have a good Happy Hour menu with reduced drink prices and eating choices. The ambiance is really quite stunning and we were seated at a nice window seat. My friend had the chicken sandwich and I opted for the turkey burger. Both were good and must admit the salted fries were excellent. Our server was top notch: attentive, friendly and she checked in on us regularly. Stopped in for lunch on Friday (HH all day), located at the Espalanade on Camelback. We started with crispy rice bites and Sangria, both were delicious and beautifully presented. I had the blackened fish tacos, small street size with pineapple... very good! My work friend had the chicken Cobb salad. The interior space is beautiful, the menus are in a leather cover, the staff was friendly, we had a great lunch. I will definitely be back to try everything on the happy hour menu. I visited during HH. I'm in the area often; however, I wasn't aware that this place existed. It's tucked inside the Esplanade. At first entrance, I thought the place was a communal workspace. There are single chair/table combos, lounge area, private tables and then you see the bar. It's lined with cream chairs and an abundance of alcohol. Hmmmm, I thought, this is my place. As I nestled into a seat, the bartender arrived and explained the HH specials and the full menu. As luck would have it, a rep from Chakra was there offering samples of their vodka. I listened to his spiel about the background, location, etc of the biz. After sampling two different drinks, I settled on the pineapple fire drop. It has a bite, but I needed it. The shrimp ceviche is definitely worth trying. It comes with seasoned chips and a hearty portion of ceviche. This is a great space for work meetings, after work meetups, or date night. This is a perfect spot for happy hours after work, a nice dinner, or brunch on the weekends! Yummy! A friend and I stopped in before we went to see a movie at the AMC upstairs. The decor of this place was so cute- I loved the variety of seating and the open space. Our waiter was nice and friendly and provided attentive service our whole stay. The food we received was delicious. To make things worse, the fries were cold. For a place putting a chef's name front and center, the execution just isn't there. The hummus plate was OK, but all 4 in my party all said they wouldn't want to eat here again. Feels more like a happy hour hangout than a serious dining destination. You can't build a reputation on cocktails and vibes alone -- the kitchen has to deliver. As it stands, Hearsay looks the part but doesn't follow through where it matters most. I can't give any stars for food however and maybe I ordered the wrong things as I don't see many reviews for the kale Caesar salad so let me be the first to say - it's not good. I was thinking it would be as good as LGO's kale salad but I was rudely mistaken. It lacked flavor and even the presentation was lackluster. I ordered it with chicken and unfortunately they forgot it. I also ordered a side of salt and pepper fries, they were nothing special and honestly a little burnt. I ended up getting the chicken when I was more than half way done with my meal and that was decently good, well seasoned and juicy. The waiter ended up removing the chicken from my bill, unprompted which I appreciated. I'll look to review again if I come back and try something better, I did hear the woman next to me raving about the tomato soup and turkey club sandwich - so maybe try that and you'll have a better experience than I did! read more
