A cute spot for coworking or happy hour! The truffle fries do not disappoint and I tried their new adult happy meal which includes sliders, a pickle tini and truffle fries. 10/10! everyone was very kind and attentive.

My friend and I came for happy hour on a Thursday night. I had an Aperol Spritz and a unique drink on the menu which was a pickle martini. My friend only had red wine. We had seats at the bar and really enjoyed the ambiance. It was a beautiful classy spot with a lot of traffic. Our server was Jay and he was great. We ordered the truffle fries which were ok, nothing special really but I did really like the sauce . And the beet hummus. It was better tasting than I expected . I wasn't sure what the taste would be but it was good. My friend found it to be too citrusy. We stayed for a few hours just chit chatting and enjoying our drinks, apps, and each others company.

I didn't try the food here but the ambiance was so upscale ! Super bougie like I like it! There's also a bunch of other places in this esplanade so i would highly recommend coming in for a drink and then eating somewhere nearby.

Super modern, open, and welcoming spot in the Biltmore area. Perfect for happy hour, lunch meetings, or just a casual bite. The happy hour menu was solid, and we ordered several appetizers to share; every single one was delicious. The servers were incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. Would definitely come back!

Shared a lovely meal with my colleagues. Fantastic service, HH menu, and ambiance. Started with white bean hummus, peppers, tuna tartare, meatballs, and elote corn dip - all amazing! I had the HH sliders for my entrée - three perfectly cooked mini burgers with grilled onions, pickles, and special sauce (no cheese for me!). Modern, cozy vibe and complimentary 3 hour parking at the nearby garage.

I visited during HH. I'm in the area often; however, I wasn't aware that this place existed. It's tucked inside the Esplanade. At first entrance, I thought the place was a communal workspace. There are single chair/table combos, lounge area, private tables and then you see the bar. It's lined with cream chairs and an abundance of alcohol. Hmmmm, I thought, this is my place. As I nestled into a seat, the bartender arrived and explained the HH specials and the full menu. As luck would have it, a rep from Chakra was there offering samples of their vodka. I listened to his spiel about the background, location, etc of the biz. After sampling two different drinks, I settled on the pineapple fire drop. It has a bite, but I needed it. The shrimp ceviche is definitely worth trying. It comes with seasoned chips and a hearty portion of ceviche. This is a great space for work meetings, after work meetups, or date night. It's such a clean, bright, airy restaurant. They are open M-F. Garage and valet parking nearby. Accessible entrance.

Ambiance: beautiful restaurant in Biltmore Service: our server was great, very helpful and attentive Food: we ordered the shrimp ceviche and I wasn't a fan. Tasted like they used cooked shrimp instead of cooking the raw fish with lime juice Drinks: delicious drinks! I loved the red sangria and the lychee martini was surprisingly strong and not terribly sweet Misc: great HH! $10 cocktails, $9 marg and a lot of apps. I want to try the elote dip next time

Came here for lunch with the girls and it had the perfect vibe! Felt upscale but still comfortable at the same time. Happy hour is all day Friday, so definitely take advantage of that! The white sangria was very crisp and refreshing, and the tuna poke was slightly sweet, citrusy and fresh.

The vibes at Hearsay are one of a kind! Great aesthetics and wonderful service, amazing cocktails, appetizers and entrees too! A friend of mine shared many amazing and yummy drinks and apps and had the option to sit inside or outside at this "working" restaurant. We will absolutely go back! Also, great during the day and at night!

Hearsay is a new restaurant in the Esplanade at Biltmore that gives off a very modern feel and casual vibe. This is a perfect spot for happy hours after work, a nice dinner, or brunch on the weekends! My favorite was the Cavatelli Bolognese, which had a delicious sauce with a hint of sweet in it and very fresh Cavatelli noodles. I also enjoyed the Tuna Tartare, the spicy mayo was delicious. The house aïoli that came with the truffle fries was a must have! Really good experience, I'd like to also try their new brunch menu.

How long has this restaurant been around?

Since late 2024 as part of the newly renovated Esplanade in the Biltmore neighborhood. I think officially they opened in February 2025.

The Macintosh is described as a neighborhood restaurant that serves modern American and Southern cuisine. It was once called Grassroots Kitchen & Tap before it got rebranded. They have a diverse menu with a lot of different choices. Shrimp and Grits, Barbecued Beef Ribs, a Chicken Salad and Po Boy Sandwiches are some of the standouts. I settled on the Rotisserie Chicken which came with a side of onion rings. I'm a big pesto fan and loved the buttermilk pesto for dipping. I had a nice time and look forward to a return visit. GOOD! inspired by taco bell's baja blast hahahah). they TREATED us to all three of their current desserts on the menu. it was the most pleasant surprise i could've imagined. my favorite was the flourless chocolate cake! it was like a thick, rich brownie, had passion fruit cream to "lighten it up" and a caramel-like taffy on the bottom my brother and sister-in-law both said their favorite was the gulab jamun (which is basically like little fried dough balls/donuts, influenced by indian flavors and spices). the mille-feuille was also fantastic - the pastry was light and airy, cream wasn't too sweet and also very light, shaved cheese on top made it have a savory bite, and the jam alongside it was strawberry rhubarb. service is always amazing, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable; it seems like everybody working here truly enjoys it. quite literally already have a reservation booked at valentine and will be coming back here beforehand. update: came back for more drinks (fernet & coke, spaghett western, negroni) and their lamb flauta. all AMAZING! and amazing order to whet the appetite before dinner at valentine.

We arrived right at opening and the bar filled up quickly but the volume still made it easy to have a conversation and still have an intimate night out. The drinks, this time, well balanced and delicious. My wife had the the Pantera Rosa and I had the Last Word. Both were delicious and not overly sweet. I love a good "Last Word" but the tea added a welcome and subtle layer. A nicely created cocktail without shaming the original. Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!
