So loved The Macintosh! The chef here serves up incredible food and so flavorful at that. We started with the brussel sprouts and the serving size alone was enough to fill us up. Everything about them was to die for. I got a chicken sandwich and the breading was light, crispy and delicious. One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a while. The staff are great and engage with good conversation. Fantastic vibes and great seating!

The Macintosh never disappoints! We had a farewell lunch for a colleague today and everything was as expected....wonderful! It was 9 of us and we were immediately seated upon arrival, as we had a reservation. Our server was great and the managers who were helping out too. My sandwich was delicious and I'm glad they made my request for a grilled/rotisserie chicken breast happen. They brought out a special dessert for the honoree too. It's a great spot, in a perfect location and nice vibe.

Key Lime Pie

The good: Shoestring Fries are hot & crisp with a housemade buttermilk pesto that's a fun take on traditional ranch dressing. A giant dollop of delicately sweetened fresh whip cream balances tart Key Lime Pie with a proper graham cracker crust. The odd: The concept focuses on Southern specialities (choice selection of bourbons, bartender recommends Blackened Redfish), but my Ahi Tuna Poke was out of place and overwhelmed with aioli. I'm looking forward to another chance, maybe for Happy Hour (snacks at reduced prices!), brunch, or at their sister restaurant - Lom Wong.

This is a great spot come for lunch, the food is very filling and my favorite was the mac and cheese, it's in the shareables but you can definitely get it as a meal. Our waitress was extremely kind and was continuously checking on us which was great. We also sat outside and it is very shaded and a great ambiance.

Brussels Sprouts

Excellent experience here a few weeks ago! Ambiance is casual but still intimate. Service was very good. I reviewed the menu before coming in and stuck with what I originally wanted: the Brussels sprouts to start and the chicken Waldorf salad as my entree. Wow! The Brussels sprouts were so good -- balsamic glaze, bacon and garlic all came together for an addicting appetizer. I probably could have eaten another portion by myself. For my entree, the salad was absolutely delicious and everything I love in a salad: fresh arugula tossed in a perfect amount of dressing and cheese with dried cranberry, red onion, radish and their rotisserie chicken. It was so exceptional that I came back soon after for a pick up order of the same salad while I was passing by. Everything here is fresh and very well done! Happy hour is a great opportunity as well. This place also offers daily specials -- definitely check it out when you are able to!

Stopped on our way to see a show at the Madison center. Let the waitress know that we are on a schedule. Atmosphere was nice and the place seemed well organized. We were there early so it wasn't crowded, but by the time we left it was. Food was excellent and the drinks were okay. My wife had the negroni and was very happy, I had an old fashioned and it was just average. My biggest issue is that the waitress was MIA more than she should have been knowing that we were on a schedule. She ended up recommending the key lime pie which was good, but by the time we got it we had to gulp and run. Sadly this took away from the whole experience and this might have been a five-star had that not happen.

This was near our hotel and decided to stop in since our 1st pick of restaurant had a long wait list and we were starving. As we entered it wasn't too busy and we were greeted right away and sat at a high top for 4. The staff was friendly. Opted for the Brussels sprouts and biscuits to share. I selected the chicken and daughter picked a soup. The star of this meal was the Brussels sprouts hands down. They were perfect. My chicken was okay and came in several pieces which left me full quicker than expected. Liked the vibe and openness. Would come back for drinks and brussel sprouts.

Bartender was great. Very attentive. Cool place. They DON'T accept cash so bring your card/Apple Pay.

Don't know why I haven't reviewed sooner. I come here at least once a month. One of my favorite places. Service is always on point. Food is incredible. Lunch today.. awesome green iced tea. Husband had the Cajun fish sandwich. I had the orzo smoked salmon salad. Honestly my favorite. I need to do Happy Hour. The Collins Brothers Restaurants are always the best.

Server was patient and extremely polite. The environment was rustic and very friendly for meet ups. Beef rib was cooked perfectly tender. Would go back. :)

Great little spot next to the Trader Joe's at town & country. They have a good sized happy hour menu from 4-6. The short rib fries were tasty and I had a nice glass of red. Service was friendly and attentive. I would definitely check it out for dinner sometime.

The cocktails at The Macintosh were absolutely on point. Their margarita was delicious and refreshing, and the New York Sour was super unique -- hands down one of the best I've had. If you're coming here for drinks, it's a solid 5-star experience. I came in with a plan, but got tempted by the BBQ platter special -- and I love trying a variety of things. The plate included pulled pork, smoked pork sausage, and pork ribs. I swear the server mentioned brisket was part of it, but it ended up being all pork. Still good, but a little disappointing. For sides, I went with the biscuit and honey butter (amazing), bacon mac and cheese (added the bacon -- no regrets), and coleslaw. I also ordered a Caesar salad without realizing the platter already came with slaw. That said, the Caesar was actually fantastic -- pro tip: get the large and share it to make it worth the price. This review is a little tricky because I loved all the sides but was just okay on the mains. The bacon mac was creamy and rich, the biscuit with honey butter was insanely good, and the coleslaw was next-level. The meats weren't bad -- they just didn't wow me. And with all three options being pork, it felt a little repetitive. I wish I had asked if I could sub in chicken or brisket instead of sausage. Still giving this 4 stars -- mainly because I didn't clarify the order and the service and cocktails were great. Just ask a few questions and order smart -- the place has a lot of potential to be excellent.

Blackened shrimp risotto

We would be regulars if we lived closer. Outstanding happy hour. The service is very good. The food is very good with only a few clunkers. We ordered boat load of wings 3.5/5, shrimp remoulade 5/5, short rib 'creole' poutine 5/5, crispy chicken biscuit 4/5, 'cowboy' bbq sliders 4/5, blackened shrimp risotto 5/5 and dark chocolate brownie 5/5. Nice atmosphere and location.

Sunny's Lounge was in the area, and I had passed by it before, so I decided to stop by on a Saturday night. They have a small parking lot and I was able to find a spot. If you can't find a spot, you can park for free on a side stret. Ambiance (4/5): Dive-ish is a nice way to put it. Small. But also homey and cool. There's a pool table in the corner with some seating that surrounds it. Plus some seating at the bar. Service (5/5): Friendly and attentive service. Which goes a long way. I was greeted promptly, the bartender answered my questions, and he was friendly. Everything I look for at a bar. Food (N/A): I had dinner earlier that night, so I was on a liquid diet, but Sunny's does have a limited menu mainly consisting of snacks and hot dogs. While I didn't try any of the food, there is some creativity with their food options, so I'd like to give them a try next time around. Drinks (4.5/5): While Sunny's is dive-ish, they are known for their cocktails. And they have an interesting list of creative craft cocktails to choose from. Including some tiki drinks that seem to be a collaboration with Undertow, a nearby tiki bar. Perhaps they're owned by the same people? Either way, I liked it. There's sophistication in their cocktails, which I'm always a fan of. Sunny's is a cool spot. My preference would be to go on a weekday, because if you're trying to play pool, one pool table is not enough when there's a crowd.

GOOD! inspired by taco bell's baja blast hahahah). they TREATED us to all three of their current desserts on the menu. it was the most pleasant surprise i could've imagined. my favorite was the flourless chocolate cake! it was like a thick, rich brownie, had passion fruit cream to "lighten it up" and a caramel-like taffy on the bottom my brother and sister-in-law both said their favorite was the gulab jamun (which is basically like little fried dough balls/donuts, influenced by indian flavors and spices). the mille-feuille was also fantastic - the pastry was light and airy, cream wasn't too sweet and also very light, shaved cheese on top made it have a savory bite, and the jam alongside it was strawberry rhubarb. service is always amazing, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable; it seems like everybody working here truly enjoys it. quite literally already have a reservation booked at valentine and will be coming back here beforehand. update: came back for more drinks (fernet & coke, spaghett western, negroni) and their lamb flauta. all AMAZING! and amazing order to whet the appetite before dinner at valentine.

Record players in the corner and a fireplace on the opposite side of this dimly lit bar created a cozy vibe on a chilly Saturday night. We arrived right at opening and the bar filled up quickly but the volume still made it easy to have a conversation and still have an intimate night out. The drinks, this time, well balanced and delicious. My wife had the the Pantera Rosa and I had the Last Word. Both were delicious and not overly sweet. I love a good "Last Word" but the tea added a welcome and subtle layer. A nicely created cocktail without shaming the original. Servers were attentive, constantly filling up water, and making sure we were well taken care of. We will be back!

Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!
