I love that they have an indoor and outdoor seating area. Isaac and Tyler both provided great service and recommendations on the cocktails. I had the road runner and donkey. Donkey was a little sweeter than I anticipated. Both were delicious. And I ordered the roasted beets. Although I don't know how "roasted" the beets actually were, all the flavors were very well put together - flavors that I would never have thought to pair together with, and I was surprisingly full after eating it all. read more

Another great bar concept in AZ! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with misters to keep you cool. The drinks take classics like the Sidecar, Espresso Martini, and Margarita to the next level--think ube foam, handcrafted mixers, and locally sourced ingredients. You really can't go wrong here. The vibe is relaxed and inviting, and you can even order food from the on-site restaurant to pair with your drinks. Definitely a spot worth checking out and one I'd happily come back to again! read more

First of all, I love the ambience! It's perfect for groups and/or date night! However, the service here was absolutely atrocious!! We got there at 5:30 pm, hoping for Happy Hour. We were told we could only do happy hour at the restaurant and not here at The Sidebar. However, when we sat at the bar, the waitress gave us happy hour menus! Really? Anyway, we ordered our food and drinks. Soon afterwards, a table opened up so we moved. Our food finally came out, but I ordered a cheeseburger and it came out w/o cheese! Before I could tell the server that my burger had no cheese, she was gone! I waited another 10-15 minutes before anyone came to check on us! I told the person about my cheeseless cheeseburger and they brought out a piece of cheese 7-8 minutes later!! WTH!! Wean while, my friends ordered the smoked beets but they forgot, so my friend flagged down a waiter and asked for her order! It came out with the cold piece of cheese! (Insert eye roll here!) I'm willing to give this place another chance because it as such a cute place! However, get your servers trained on customer service! There's no excuse for a place this cute to have such subpar service!! read more

The food was delicious but we had to wait 10/15 minutes for someone to take our drink order.

This eating is only based off of two drinks, no food , great service. If you're looking for a low key but romantic vibe, I'd recommend this gem of a spot. Will be back for some food next time. read more

Everything about my visit was splendid!! We wanted the delicious food from Ocotillo but also a fine cocktail. And Sidecar Social Club fit the bill. The ambiance and service were great. It was a cool evening for it being September in the desert. And I delighted in being outside, next to the dozens of string lit trees and vast open space. It was good for the souls after being indoors most of summer. The drinks were original and fantastic. We had the Apollo and Starlet. I loved the Starlet!!! We definitely ordered too much food. And don't regret it. I want to order everything on the Ocotillo menu. The chef knows what he is doing. And I imagine the kitchen is well run. The gem salad was truly a gem. I have day dreamed of it a few times since. I could have been satisfied with that alone. (And Starlet, of course) The wings were sticky deliciousness. I only wish they were served with wet towels/wipes. We also enjoyed the market fish (halibut ) and pasta with ragu. Oh my. They were both perfect. It was one of those nights I wished I could eat more. I will definitely return! read more

Intimate bar tucked away on the Ocotillo property. It's the shipping container, but inside it feels like a swanky cocktail lounge. We enjoyed the atmosphere - the red lighting, black marble, and leather. We loved the Purple Does Something Strange to Me (bourbon, rum, aperitif, elderberry, pineapple, lemon). We thought the Serpent in the Garden was okay, it was like a spiked chili soda (gin, rum, chili, cucumber, ginger, lime, carbonation). read more

We came here a few weeks ago on a Saturday night around 11pm. There were only a few other people here. I am guessing this is more of an early evening spot. The AzteCa tastes like an old fashioned. Elegance is refusal is decent but not my fav. Aviatrix is very unique and I really liked it. They have a dog friendly patio and they brought out water for our dog. Service was excellent. read more

Four stars for the bartender. Bartender was extremely nice and helpful and recommended great drinks. Even remade them if it was too bitter. Ambiance is very cute, outdoor seating as well as indoors. Lights hanging. Ordered ahi tuna - lacked a lot of flavor. We squeezed lemon on it to help. Got the shoe string fries, the dijon/ Mayo sauce was very good. Would come back for drinks again. read more

UPDATE: the new menu is written in hipster and I tried to give it a shot but those drinks are nasty. What even are those ingredient combos. A real shame. This was my families favorite spot, we used to crave drinks on the old menu. We were very disappointed to see this major change, and now we will not be back. On to the next. read more

This restaurant has a main restaurant and then this little sidecar bar detached and to the rear of the property. It is extremely cute and romantic and only a stone throw from my Girlfriend's apartment. She brought me here for a drink after picking me up from the airport because she really likes the ambiance and knew I would too. We ordered our drinks, which were made to perfection, and ended up ordering dinner and having two or three rounds. The bartender was very helpful and happy to talk to us about the drinks and food menu. We plan to return and sit down for dinner in the main restaurant and I know my Girlfriend will return for drinks at the sidecar and we will again when I come into town to visit her. This would be a great spot for a date night, as the sidecar is smaller, cozy, quiet, and unique. The menu is the full menu of the restaurant. read more

First time to this place and my mind is blown. Their attention to detail in the cocktails they make is of pure talent. The staff is attentive, personable and super friendly. Nick the bartender is a encyclopedia information and can tell you the history behind most alcohols and their cocktails. On this we were lucky enough to be here while one of the bartenders was finishing her training. What this meant to be will be and try a plethora of drinks from their menu. I recommend you seriously skip all the hipster places with watered down cocktails filled with sugar and ice. SERIOUSLY get yourself a real old school crafted cocktail from Sidecar. Order the Road Rash drink! It's a game changer read more

Very cute bar with comfy booths which were great after our dinner in a restaurant with very uncomfortable chairs. Overall, I found the drinks to be on the sweet side and could use a few tweaks to better balance them. We ordered the eggplant meatballs from Ocotillo and they were fantastic. Service was great. It can be difficult to find - if you see signage for Ocotillo, you're in the right place. Parking is plentiful. read more

I wish we had only gone only for the drinks. The atmosphere of this place is adorable. Super cozy and they even did a great job of making the outside bar the place to be. The blackberry cog was a table favorite, but the old fashion was not worth the hype. Now, the food. I'm sorry, but the prices on the menu do not reflect the quality. The pics look great, right? The fish was super bland and I had a terrible stomach ache shortly after. The ribs had great flavor but far from fall off the bone, we asked for a steak knife but it never arrived. We struggled to get any meat off of it. The ahi tuna appetizer was the best part of the meal. Overall, it's just OK. Definitely not worth the food prices. read more

You're looking for cocktails with great value. You're looking for cocktails that are accessible and affordable. You're looking for a cocktail bar, that's good, but doesn't take itself too seriously. You're looking for a cocktail bar where you can get chill, urban vibes, but still feel like you've got a cozy little place to yourself. You are looking for Sidecar Social Club, a cool new venture by a cool dude named Nick. It just burst into a crowded cocktail scene, but it doesn't feel redundant. Lodged in the other side of a gorgeous property occupied by Ocotillo, he had a vision for an unused room, and has put it to great use. If it weren't for the bold, red signage, it would be lowkey enough to perhaps qualify as a speakeasy. On the chalkboard, you'll see a list of classics he can have ready in a jiffy. His French 75 was tart, crisp, and dry--far better than what I've had at several more established lounges. His Manhattan was impeccable as well. For what the menu lacks in depth, it makes up for in execution. You just can't go wrong. Keep in mind it's unwise to just pound cocktails the entire night. Lighten things up with his beer selection, and if the hour is right, order food from across the yard at Ocotillo! Sidecar is definitely my new chill spot, and I can't wait to come back. read more

Such a cozy little cocktail bar dishing up some very delicious and unique drinks. Stopped in on a Friday around 5 and it wasn't too busy so we snagged one of the plush comfortable booths in the corner. Our servers were very prompt and attentive. They offered a lot of good drink suggestions based on our various cocktail tastes. We enjoyed the setting sunset over the bar. I ordered the Aviatrix which had such a delicious foam on top. My friends had the Berry Hot Head and the Signature Sidecar which were both amazing drinks as well. I'll be back to try more drinks on their menu! They also serve the entirety of the Ocotillo menu. We ordered a strawberry and ricotta appetizer to share which was immaculate and so fresh. Overall I recommend Sidecar Social Club for a laid back cocktail experience in a lovely ambience. read more

I love this place, I really do. The staff is attentive, personable and friendly. One of my favorite things about this place is the the attention to detail they take when making their cocktails. Guess what, I hate Negronis and Manhattans but I LOVE the ones from Sidecar. Do yourself a favor, skip all the fru-fru places (filled with sweet sugary drinks) that you're thinking about going to and get yourself a real craft cocktail from Sidecar. Great ambiance, staff is friendly, quick service, and yummy drinks. Perfect for date night.

We were headed to Glai Baan for my wife's birthday dinner, but wanted to stop and have a nice cocktail somewhere beforehand, so we decided to try Sidecar, turned out to be a great choice by us (Pat on the back Jory & Erika)! I had an old fashioned (I'm the boring one) & my wife had a mezcal drink that I am once again forgetting the name, it was the drink on the top right of the menu. Regardless, both were amazing! I was chatting with the bartender about how so many places think all old fashioneds are the same since they don't have a lot of ingredients, which couldn't be farther from the truth. This old fashioned was perfect, the balance of all the flavors couldn't have been much better. As for my wife's drink, the Smokey mezcal flavor was absolutely present, but not overpowering at all either. Not to mention the ambiance was really cool, it's tucked away back in the courtyard area behind Ocotillo in what looks like a little shipping container. Drinks aren't cheap, but for the target audience they're going for, they're doing a great job. read more

Sidecar is a step into a sexy intimate space with thoughtful well constructed cocktails and high energy L.A. worthy D.J. The indoor/outdoor bar is a perfect hang out for an entire evening of dinner, conversation creative drinks and beautiful outside spaces for cozy dates or a gathering of friends. We had to peel ourselves away from Sidecar and it's DJ with his modern mix of of the nostalgic 60's, 70's & 80's songs but still versatile enough to mix in today's sound. He's spectacular!!! We will be back again and again. read more

We had a nice visit here the other evening. It's part of the Ocotillo complex and one side of the bar is inside and the other is outside. They have a nice selection of wine and craft beer as well as cocktails. I had the sidecar with gin and it was very nice and refreshing. We have been to Ocotillo a couple times and only our first time to sidecar club. What a beautiful surprise. As soon as you walk in, the decor will welcome you letting you knew you are at some place good. The green velvet booths are pleasantly lit with spot lights and the walls are decorated well. Service is fantastic and so are the cocktails. We were glad we got there a little early and were able to get a booth. The place got packed very quickly after. Food I'd Imagine is from the same kitchen and though we didn't have any at sidecar (I'll write my review of Ocotillo later), I can comment here from my experience there that the food is good. Overall, it was a good experience and we will surely be back. Ambiance: 5 Service: 5 Drinks: 5 read more

Very chill spot - it's off the huge back yard of the main restaurant, but it's just secluded enough to be it's own thing (which it is). Small, Intimate, modern bar/lounge vibe. Super cool vibe, trendy feel. Boyfriend and I stumbled upon this spot while having dinner at a restaurant nearby. We decided to stop in. Bartender was nice.
