It was nice, just a little unfair comparing it to all the posh places nearby. The server was very attentive, and the food was good. I ordered a filet mignon skewer and had to send it back because I didn't like the sauce smothered on it. It's very over powering, maybe try it on the side. Plain it was much better, but I'm a pretty plain gal when it comes to food! Loved the hummus

The food and drinks here were sooooo yummy! Note that HH deals aren't valid on the rooftop. It's cute and moody on the main floor, but the rooftop is great to catch a sunset! Cutesy spot for an evening with the girls!

We enjoyed our recent experience at FLINT. We made a reservation on the earlier side on a Saturday night and it was surprisingly quite. The interior is beautiful and comfortable; and valet is free so it was easy to park. Our server was great; very attentive and did a through job of explaining how the menu works. Food came out quick and it everything was great. I wouldn't say anything knocked us off our feet, but it was all consistently good. We split the roasted cauliflower, the short rib hummus (our favorite), the burrata, the lamb meatballs, one chicken kabab, and the fried chicken. They coursed everything out perfectly. Drinks were also tasty; dessert was a miss. We ordered the olive oil pound cake and it was very dry. BUT, our sweet server noticed I was pregnant and brought us a free donut dessert as a congratulations. It was incredibly kind of him and it made up for the pound cake. Overall, it was a great date night spot. If we're ever in the area, we'd try it again!

Had a lovely night of delicious food and amazing company. We started with the whipped feta. It was a great start. Followed by the Flint chopped salad. What a gorgeous presentation and full of flavor. Lamb meatballs and fried chicken also shared. All were in agreement the lamb meatballs were the star of the dinner. Service was pleasant and the dining area very comfortable

We had the best experience celebrating my friend's birthday at Flints. Service and food were top notch! We went to upstairs and had amazing views of The city. This place is very sophisticated and the staff were very attentive. They brought a little dessert for my friend's bday and they also brought complimentary champagne. I will keep coming back for more celebrations or just to keep trying their delicious dishes.

First time here and I was impressed! Complimentary valet is a great perk since parking in the Biltmore area can be limited. The space is beautifully decorated, casual yet upscale, and it smells amazing inside. Came with my team for happy hour and tried the oysters, margarita pizza, hummus, and Moroccan fried chicken dishes on their happy hour menu. Everything was delicious! Their happy hour is definitely the best way to sample some of their menu and drinks since regular prices are higher. Service was a little slow (only one server/bartender at 4pm on a Monday), but our server was attentive, and it truly wouldn't have made sense to have another server on at the time. Overall, great food, service, and space. Highly recommend!

Love this place so much! My friends took me here for my birthday, and I am obsessed. I love the interior, it's modern yet cozy, and I really like the bar area with couch sittings. They have happy hour until 6? and we got happy hour margs and oysters, and they were soo good. Oysters were super fresh and their marg, yummmm it was so good! And we had cheese board, fried chicken, bone marrow, scallops, octopus, and short rib hummus- everything was good! I'd definitely come back here!

32nd wedding anniversary of yumminess!!! Yes Chef Josh! You came to work and served us dinner!!! I truly appreciate this place dinning experience. The service from the front to the back of the house. Amazing service and phenomenal chef's attention to detail. Chef Josh came out to greet us on our special occasion and spent time asking about what we like and suggestions. What a great night with my love and a great dinner at our favorite restaurant. Be careful, it's yummy! Certified.

Seafood offerings at the brunch for mother's day

Went for the mother's day brunch earlier today with my family. Overall, most of the food options were pretty good. The prime rib and rack of lamb were both cooked perfect medium rare and good meat quality. And the oysters, shrimp and crab claws were all delicious and pretty fresh. In addition, the other brunch offerings had fried chicken, biscuits and gravy which were all delicious, as well as a decent charcuterie board and pastry options. Service was also overall pretty good, the servers were very friendly and quick to accommodate requests. Only negatives were that initially the floor around one of the seats was pretty wet and had a lot of breadcrumbs, had to call a server to clean it up. Also the second issue was that the online brunch menu had listed jonah crab claws, but when we got there they only had snow crab claws available. We did mention it to the staff at the end and they acknowledged the mistake, and made things right by offering something to make up for it, so major props to them when they didnt have to do anything. Overall a good experience and would definitely come back sometime for dinner or happy hour.

    Little Gem Caesar salad! Delicious!

My husband and I came by here yesterday because we are interested in having my 60th birthday party on the rooftop. The rooftop was closed but it still looks like a place that I would like to have my 60th birthday party for approximately 40 to 50 people. The atmosphere of this restaurant is really nice! We decided to have a late lunch while we were there. We split the Little Gem Caesar salad and it was outstanding! The six minute egg is what put it over the top. My husband had the lamb lettuce wraps, and he thought they were excellent. I did taste the lamb and it was very good! I had the blackened salmon. It also came with this very spicy sauce on the side that I thoroughly enjoyed. However, I would've liked the salmon to be cooked with a little bit more seasoning. When I think of black and seasoning it should be spicy. I could barely taste any salt or pepper on the salmon without the side of sauce. Also, my salmon was a bit overcooked. I liked my salmon to be cooked medium, and it was medium well almost well. I forgot to take a picture of it. The bartender, who was also our server, told me that the chef was not satisfied with the way. The first salmon came out so he did a second one and brought that one to me. Personally, I thought it was just a tad overcooked. I'm hoping to hear back from their LA representative regarding my 60th birthday party. I really do want to have it here because I like the venue and the food was good despite my salmon being overcooked and a tad on the bland side. If you are going to blackened something for the love of God, use real blackened seasoning!

This was my second time back. Diego and Shantel were our bartenders, both friendly and professional. They went out of their way to be accommodating. For dinner we shared the Spanish Octopus, Lamb pasta, oysters, Kebabs with filet mignon and chicken. The chicken was the highlight of the night. The other dishes were good, the octopus tender, just didn't love the sauce it was in but that could be personal preference. The oysters were amazing as always. Love the wood fire smells in here and the vibe at the bar is always fun! Chicken best

Truly one of the better and more consistent restaurants in the valley. I have been here multiple times but never wrote a review. JP was our server and he was the utmost professional. Caring, attentive, sharp. He even does that pro hand-behind-the-back waiter walk. Ask for JP's section when you get there. The burger. The burger is what brings me back. I have this every time I come here. I'll put this up against any gourmet burger in town. Fries to match. 100/10 Cauli- charred well, tasty, good bite, a bit on the salty side Short rib hummus - it's more short rib than hummus, but hearty and tender. MFC - brined, good crust, juicy, goes great with the harissa. It's good but I'd honestly skip it. Lamb cavatelli - 10/10. Fresh made pasta made perfectly al dente, lab ragu will put you to sleep. Restaurant is spotless and the ambiance is calm without loud music. See you again soon.

Celebrated hubby's birthday at FLINT last night and it did not disappoint! We arrived 30 min early hoping to have a drink Upstairs, which was unortunately closed, but we were able to have a seat at the bar instead. They had a great list of HH drinks and we both settled on the Spicy Margarita. I ordered mine virgin and fully expected the tequila to just be omitted but was pleasantly surprised they actually had a non alcoholic tequila to substitute. The drink was delicious with just the right amount of heat and tang. Once we got to our table, we were promptly greeted by our server. Not long after, they brought out a personalized card for my husband signed by the hosts and some complimentary champagne to celebrate. Neither of us are big champagne drinkers but found ourselves really enjoying the glasses and this was a thoughtful touch. We ultimately decided on just sharing a handful of dishes and everything was amazing. We started with a 1/2 dozen East Coast Oysters, the Moroccan Fried Chicken, the Grilled Spanish Octopus and Grilled Artichoke and the Margherita Pizza. The oysters were fresh and had a wonderful cucumber mignonette; the chicken was incredibly crispy and the tahini ranch and harissa sauces were the perfect compliment; the octopus was not my favorite (but simply because I'm not a big octopus person) however my husband devoured it and found it perfectly cooked; the artichoke was wonderful and the lemon tarragon aioli was perfect for dipping and the pizza can't be beat, a pillowy yet chewy crust and the tomato sauce and basil just pair so well together. The finishing touch was the not one, but two complimentary desserts they brought: basque cheesecake with a cherry sauce and cardamom sugar dusted doughnuts with a Turkish coffee cream. The cheesecake was decadent but not overly sweet and the doughnuts fluffy and that coffee cream was divine. The aesthetic of the whole place is modern, upscale, and coastal. The perfect place for a date night, a celebration, or even just a casual get together with friends. Also the complimentary valet is a great touch. I cannot recommend FLINT enough!

The second time I got a steak medium well and loaded baked potato and the potato was very dry (like an older potato that was on its way out) and although I loved the overall flavor of the steak I had to eat around the edges only and avoided the center because not only wasn't it medium w no pink it was red! Also it had gristle and fat. For $44 it was a waste of good meat and I'm not one to ask a cook to throw it back in the grill when they should know how to produce different levels of cooked steak. The ambiance is a chill dim lit vibe and easy for conversations so that was great! The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Great mirror lighting too. But the front layout is odd, the hostess stand is right there so everyone crams in front of door and there's no barrier to the first large table so you're like staring at the poor people eating at that first long table lol! I think they need to switch up the entry layout and put up a half wall or decorative situation to tuck away that table a bit too. Just my two cents. Overall, I'd go again but it would be really nice if management saw this and trained staff on how to greet table sooner, take drink orders, and deliver said drinks timely for a more pleasant dining experience.

We started off with a variety of appetizers, including the chips and guacamole and the shortrib potstickers. We were thoroughly impressed by the appetizers. The guacamole, for example, was something so simple, yet outstanding. For my meal, I had the California breakfast burrito bowl. It was a very large portion and tasted very fresh. We were all super happy with our meals. The service was also on point and our server didn't miss a beat with drink refills and tending to our various needs. I can't believe it has taken us so long to try The Henry. We will definitely be back.

The Food The Chicken Parm: A standout dish. The chicken is perfectly tender with a light, crisp exterior that holds up beautifully against the rich marinara sauce. The melted cheese on top adds just the right amount of indulgence, keeping the classic flavor profile intact while feeling incredibly fresh. Air-Fried Fries: A total game-changer. They deliver all the satisfying, crispy texture of a traditional fry but without the greasy aftermath. Perfectly seasoned and guilt-free. The Side Salad: The ideal counterpart to the meal. Crisp, vibrant greens tossed in a light, bright vinaigrette that cuts through the richness of the chicken parm and refreshes the palate.

Service was very friendly, seemed knowledgeable about the menu items. The only thing that I didn't…read morelike is that each item I asks about, she said it was really good, which usually something is not. She did mention that she prefers another salad over what I selected, and I like when servers tell me their favorite items. It definitely seems like a place for a business lunch, I went by myself and actually quite a few people were there by themselves in case you're shy about dining in by yourself. It was fairly busy for a Monday morning lunch. I originally was going to get their lunch special to go bc I have stuff to do, but they said it wasn't available to go. Since I did actually have time to sit for a bit I decided to dine in. (It says dine in only on the bottom of the menu but my brain conveniently skipped over that part) When they seat you they stick a white card on the table that the server picks up after they've come to the table. I feel like it's a subtle thing that clues in the servers about which tables they've been to, especially on a busy night. I had an iced matcha with almond milk. It was sweet, but not too sweet. Matcha grade seemed on par with what I'd expect in a matcha beverage. Lunch special was $20 for a drink, main and side. Some stuff was a surcharge. I had the burger and Chinese chicken salad. Drink was a pink dragon fruit lemonade which I knew my mini mini would love, so I saved it for her. I thought it was a little tart for me, she thought it was amazing. The burger- I requested to add pickles bc I love them. It was cooked nicely, flavor was decent. I'm a huge fan of white cheddar. The sauce, per the server, was ketchup and Mayo, and they didn't drown the burger in it, so that was good. I think they make their pickles in house and tbh, I know I would have liked the burger less without pickles. I think it needed a tiny bit of acidity for balance. It was a $5 surcharge. Overall I enjoyed it, 8.5/10 The Chinese chicken salad was a hearty salad, and a lot of beautiful colors and textures. Watermelon radish is so pretty in this. The carrot ginger dressing wasn't over the top with ginger. I think the natural sweetness of the carrot really tones it down. The toasted quinoa, I could take it or leave it, but it didn't taste bad, I'm just not a huge quinoa fan. 8/10, and a $2 surcharge. So, if you want to get it as close to $20 before tax and tip, don't get anything that they have a surcharge for, but I liked what I got, it came to under $40 before tip. I wanted to try the kale aid but I'll get that next time. (A $5 surcharge if you get the lunch option) Another plus- I think the straws are biodegradable but they are not the paper straws that dissolves 2 sips in. Yay! The chocolate chip cookie- to me it tasted like they put banana in it. If you're hoping for a chewy chocolate chip cookie, this is not it. It's thick and fairly soft. It reminded me of when people make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies- similar texture. The tcho chocolate in it was good, but I didn't like the actual cookie dough that much. Mini mini thought it was so good, but she also thought it tasted like banana was in it. I think it was a 6/10, mini mini would give it an 8/10. So, about a 7/10. Restroom was relatively clean, had a baby changing table in the stall if needed. The floor seemed a bit sticky though. Would I come back? Yes when I'm in the area, I don't live close by.
