This was my first time trying the restaurant they have really good food if you want to get out of your comfort zone and try new things then try this place out. Each bite will take you on adventure. I tired there hummus and bread at first I didn't like the hummus that came with it but I kept trying it and it tasted like a flavor I've never had before. The pizza is super thin more then what I'm used to oh I tired there watermelon salad you most definitely love there watermelon salad
If you're looking for a meal that satisfies your comfort food cravings without leaving you feeling heavy, the lineup at True Food Kitchen hits the mark perfectly. The Food The Chicken Parm: A standout dish. The chicken is perfectly tender with a light, crisp exterior that holds up beautifully against the rich marinara sauce. The melted cheese on top adds just the right amount of indulgence, keeping the classic flavor profile intact while feeling incredibly fresh. Air-Fried Fries: A total game-changer. They deliver all the satisfying, crispy texture of a traditional fry but without the greasy aftermath. Perfectly seasoned and guilt-free. The Side Salad: The ideal counterpart to the meal. Crisp, vibrant greens tossed in a light, bright vinaigrette that cuts through the richness of the chicken parm and refreshes the palate.
Service was very friendly, seemed knowledgeable about the menu items. The only thing that I didn't like is that each item I asks about, she said it was really good, which usually something is not. She did mention that she prefers another salad over what I selected, and I like when servers tell me their favorite items. It definitely seems like a place for a business lunch, I went by myself and actually quite a few people were there by themselves in case you're shy about dining in by yourself. It was fairly busy for a Monday morning lunch. I originally was going to get their lunch special to go bc I have stuff to do, but they said it wasn't available to go. Since I did actually have time to sit for a bit I decided to dine in. (It says dine in only on the bottom of the menu but my brain conveniently skipped over that part) When they seat you they stick a white card on the table that the server picks up after they've come to the table. I feel like it's a subtle thing that clues in the servers about which tables they've been to, especially on a busy night. I had an iced matcha with almond milk. It was sweet, but not too sweet. Matcha grade seemed on par with what I'd expect in a matcha beverage. Lunch special was $20 for a drink, main and side. Some stuff was a surcharge. I had the burger and Chinese chicken salad. Drink was a pink dragon fruit lemonade which I knew my mini mini would love, so I saved it for her. I thought it was a little tart for me, she thought it was amazing. The burger- I requested to add pickles bc I love them. It was cooked nicely, flavor was decent. I'm a huge fan of white cheddar. The sauce, per the server, was ketchup and Mayo, and they didn't drown the burger in it, so that was good. I think they make their pickles in house and tbh, I know I would have liked the burger less without pickles. I think it needed a tiny bit of acidity for balance. It was a $5 surcharge. Overall I enjoyed it, 8.5/10 The Chinese chicken salad was a hearty salad, and a lot of beautiful colors and textures. Watermelon radish is so pretty in this. The carrot ginger dressing wasn't over the top with ginger. I think the natural sweetness of the carrot really tones it down. The toasted quinoa, I could take it or leave it, but it didn't taste bad, I'm just not a huge quinoa fan. 8/10, and a $2 surcharge. So, if you want to get it as close to $20 before tax and tip, don't get anything that they have a surcharge for, but I liked what I got, it came to under $40 before tip. I wanted to try the kale aid but I'll get that next time. (A $5 surcharge if you get the lunch option) Another plus- I think the straws are biodegradable but they are not the paper straws that dissolves 2 sips in. Yay! The chocolate chip cookie- to me it tasted like they put banana in it. If you're hoping for a chewy chocolate chip cookie, this is not it. It's thick and fairly soft. It reminded me of when people make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies- similar texture. The tcho chocolate in it was good, but I didn't like the actual cookie dough that much. Mini mini thought it was so good, but she also thought it tasted like banana was in it. I think it was a 6/10, mini mini would give it an 8/10. So, about a 7/10. Restroom was relatively clean, had a baby changing table in the stall if needed. The floor seemed a bit sticky though. Would I come back? Yes when I'm in the area, I don't live close by.

Margherita pizza could have come out of a frozen section and was warm if not cool like it had been sitting for 10' or so in the back. Steaks was bland and tough and also like it had been sitting post cook 10' We must have waited 20' for our tiramisu. Waiter had to be flagged down for order, and where our meal, drinks and dessert was coming . Can't wonder why he'd want to face us if it takes 2 and half hours for a two course meal. We gave up on desert Avoid this place!
I forgot how much I love this place. I was starving and hoping for some plant based grub. I managed to order direct from TrueFood for delivery, of course it came from a 3rd party driver BUT I didn't have to sign up there to order. SCORE! Plant Based burger - delicious, even luke warm because I am further and it's chilly today. Carrot cake - also delicious, saved half, helped me realize how hooked on the sug I am these days. Very excited for some mashed potatoes (that was my side for my burger) later and their Korean Noods. Oh man, it's been too long. They packaged it all so well that even after arrival it looks beautiful (carrot cake picture before devouring occurred)
Had lunch at True Food Kitchen Biltmore and it absolutely delivered. I ordered the Ancient Grains Bowl with chicken and it was spot on. The balance of flavors felt clean and intentional without being boring. The chicken was tender with a nice char, the veggies were fresh, and everything worked together instead of competing on the plate. You can tell they care about quality ingredients and thoughtful prep. The space is bright, comfortable, and easy to have a conversation in, whether you're meeting friends or sitting down for a quick business lunch. Service was friendly, food came out fast, and the overall vibe made it easy to slow down and actually enjoy the meal. If you're in the Biltmore area and want something that tastes great but still leaves you feeling good after, this is a solid choice. I'll definitely be back.
True Food is a very spacious place. They've got kitchen tables so you can sometimes see the workers actively preparing your food. I tried out their jambalaya, iced lavender matcha latte, and cheesy mashed potatoes. I didn't like the shrimp in the jambalaya but everything else in it was relatively good. The lavendar matcha latte contained less liquid that I would like. The cheesy mashed potatoes was good. The service was satisfactory. All this cost $40 but really it was around $27 because I bought discounted InKind gift cards from Costco.
On August 30 I was enjoying the afternoon with my two sisters and we were shopping for dresses at the Biltmore Park fashion Square mall and we got hungry so we ended up stopping at true food kitchen because we wanted to eat clean and organic. Our experience really started off really horrible with not being seated because there was not one person in front to see us. The second thing the server felt inconvenienced to take our order and looking at us as if we are familiar with the menu and was inconvenience to even answer any of the questions that we had about the menu. We ordered an appetizer I believe it was hummus, which tasted very bland and spicy and only given 5 semi medium size chips and had to ask for more and got 4 more...Then we ordered each meals I had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was dry as wood and hardly any sauce. Must have been old chicken so I tried making it through the first half and left most uneaten. My sister ordered the spinach and mushroom pizza because she is vegan or vegetarian. The pizza was very bland. Extra crispy and tasteless and she hardly ate and not typical for her. My other sister ordered all American burger with fries both her fries and my fries looked and tasted like they were two days old. My sister took a fry and gave it to me and said feel how hard it is and I literally hit it on my plate and made a rock sound. So paying $102.99 plus tip was not worth it at this place because they pride themselves to be health, fresh, clean organic kitchen and none of it is true. I didn't take pictures but they do have cameras and can see out facial and physical expressions if they wanted to see. Very disappointed will never go back. This was my second time there at that same location and I thought I'd try it again this time horrible horrible. The only good thing about the restaurant was the dragon fruit lemonade, which was too expensive. It was $5.50 each for one glass. I'm all about experiencing clean food and not having a problem with paying for it as long as it is fresh and healthy. I thought about complaining when I was there but didn't think it would have mattered because the whole experience was bad so where would I start. Never going back for sure.
Our server Sam was so nice and fun! I came with my family on a Sunday morning around 11am, we were seated right away since they weren't too busy. We ordered the hummus which was sooo delicious, I think I hogged it from the rest of my family lol. Price-wise, the menu wasn't TOO crazy. What I really love about this place is that it really helps for someone who is trying to be more health conscious / trying to track protein & calories (all visible on the menu). As someone who's been trying to be more mindful of diet and health, this place was a relief. One critique would be that the first dish in these series of photos (I can't remember the name, sorry!) was too salty. Other than that, the food was delish and the vibe was chill and clean!
A few friends and I chose this spot for an early dinner before attending a concert recently, based on convenience of location and that they were one of the options in the area that were listed on the inKind app. On this visit, instead of sticking to my usual order, I decided to try something different, an item off the seasonal menu. I ordered the apple lemonade and the jambalaya pasta. The apple lemonade was a bit more sour than I had anticipated but it wasn't bad. The jambalaya pasta had a nice kick of spice to it, the pasta was not over or under cooked and there was surprisingly a good amount of protein in this dish. Overall, service was fast and efficient. Like other locations, this one is similarly decorated in furnishing and color scheme. Since we were headed to a concert afterwards, we had decided to make reservations for an earlier time, but they were already quite busy when we arrived, so I highly recommend making reservations if you're thinking about dining here.
I got to eat here with two baby boys, a 5 year old boy, and two grown men. My shaken iced coffee was tasty, but far too tiny for the price. Our server was very responsive and on top of her stuff. The outdoor seating was perfect for us with all the shade. Our food was satisfactory
My family and I had such a great dining experience at True Food Kitchen! I was initially intrigued by the restaurant because of its menu and co-founder, Dr. Andrew Weil. I was already familiar with Dr. Weil through his work with Origins, and I use his line of skincare products from Origins, so I was excited to try a restaurant inspired by his approach to food and wellness. We were pleasantly surprised by everything we ordered. The food is definitely different from what you might find at a typical restaurant, but in the best possible way. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The Edamame Dumplings were AMAZING! My daughter loves dumplings, and she absolutely adored them. We also tried several entrées, including the Chicken Parmesan and Spicy Panang Curry with different proteins. As someone who loves Panang curry, I thought it was awesome! The atmosphere is casual, comfortable, and inviting. They also have a really cute private dining room enclosed in glass with curtains for additional privacy. It even has a TV, which would be perfect for a meeting or presentation, or for playing a special video during a birthday or other celebration. What made our experience even better was our server, Stormy. She was amazing! You can genuinely tell that she loves her job and believes in the food she serves. She freely shared her personal favorites and recommendations, and nothing felt scripted or forced. You could tell she genuinely meant every recommendation she gave us. Overall, our family really enjoyed the experience. Great food, a fun and unique menu, a relaxed atmosphere, and wonderful service. We will definitely be back! read more

True good was such a fun find at the Biltmore Mall. It was still brunch when we arrived so I got the blueberry pancakes and the raspberry lemonade. We shared the fries which were really good. Plus, the sauce on the side hit the spot. We think it was a Chipotle mayo sauce. I loved the Raspberry lemonade as it was so refreshing. A nice comfortable chill spot for brunch for any occasion. Fresh, healthy menu and always made exactly how you like it!! They are so cognizant of food allergies and preference. Best waitstaff that are sooo friendly and patient. Lots of options for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian as well if any dietary restrictions. Perfect menu choices, and they are always updating with seasonal offerings. I went to True Food Kitchen with my friend over the weekend to grab lunch and we had a great time. Our server was really nice and helped us choose what to order off the menu. She even let me in on a hack since I wanted to order the spaghetti squash and add chicken - order the chicken parm, which would be the same thing, to save some $. We had to wait a while for waters as they were backed up on washing the cups. My iced shakerato was really good. I liked that it wasn't too sweet but wasn't bitter at all, despite the dark color. I ended up liking my entree a lot. I have always been a huge fan of spaghetti squash and this one was really good. I was full after, but not weighed down, so you could tell that this place is healthy and uses good ingredients. Truthfully, I think it's a little on the pricey side for what you get but I loved the decor and overall had a great time. I would go back to try the appetizers and cocktails. read more

The absolute worst takeout dinner we have ever had. Here is a list of what they said we would get - grilled chicken, bok choy, cabbage, mixed greens, avocado, watermelon radish, snap peas, cilantro, pickled ginger, toasted quinoa almond sesame blend. What we actually got - mixed greens, with cold, overcooked chicken. This dish was a complete disappointment, in no way did it resemble what they charged us for. A COMPLETE RIPOFF!!! read more

I got jacked at True Foods! My $300 ring was stolen by their staff. I accidentally left it on the dining table after washing my hands, eating, then leaving. It's a big ring check out the photo. Also, their bathroom is really dirty. Whoever did not do their job prefer I leave this review. They claim to do an "investigation" and did not see the footage. I wouldn't take the time to post this but want you to know there is theft by the staff and the company does not take the claim seriously. Eat at your own discretion! Part 2 Yes, my blood sister was at the table while I washed my hands and once we left after eating was the ring taken. Again, prime example of them not listening to the concern. Everything about this place was amazing. I enjoyed the decor, the lighting, how clean it was, and the attentive staff. Very nice setting for catching up with friends over lunch. I got the pesto pasta and it was the best pasta i have tasted. Very fresh and filled with flavor. My waitress was sweet and they had plenty of seating indoors and out on the patio. Came here on a Sunday night with family, we didn't have a reservation, but it wasn't busy so we were able to get a table within a few minutes. We started off with the charred cauliflower appetizer, which was alright, the portion was really small and the cauliflower was definitely harder like not fully cooked and barely charred. They do have a big menu so it was hard to decide what to get when you're really hungry, but I got the teriyaki quinoa bowl, and added two pieces of the air fried chicken. When my dish came out, the portion was also pretty small and there was barely any chicken in it. Our food also took an extremely long time and when they brought out the chicken Parm that we got, everything was cold, the pasta, the chicken, and the cheese was not even melted on top. The taste was also very bland and was definitely the worst chicken Parm I've ever had at a restaurant, do not recommend. I do love though that they have fresh pressed juices. I got the bright eyes drink and it was nice and refreshing. They also have other mocktails and nonalcoholic drink options, which is nice. Considering that they weren't busy, we were really confused why our food took so long and that things were brought out cold. Popped into True Food Kitchen for the first time after my niece's baby shower since she and her hubby are vegan--and wow, what a great choice! We had a reservation, so we were seated right away. Our server was super friendly and got our drink orders in quickly. Before we knew it, the table was filled with the most delicious-looking dishes. Everything came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. I'm happy they have all kinds of choices--not just vegan or vegetarian. Anyone can find something they'll enjoy here. I love that they use all fresh and natural ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. The vibe was relaxed but upbeat, and it just made the whole experience even better. Ruined our Valentine's dinner!!! Things started off nice. We came early at 5:30PM & ordered the prix fixe menu to make things easy. Excellent chocolate cherry old fashioneds. Burrata plus bread appetizer was perfect. Then things went sideways... My wife's risotto didn't have the requested chicken. I had ordered the steak & Frites - medium rare. They brought me a steak that was extremely rare. I asked them to put it back on the grill for 2 minutes. 10 minutes ... nothing. 20 minutes ... server told me it was coming. 30 minutes later ... they brought back just a piece of burned meat. See the picture. No fries. No salad. Took another five minutes to flag the waitress down. She apologized and said that she would bring back the fries and salad immediately. 7PM ... we gave up & I never received my dinner. True Food is a great option if you're looking for clean and healthier meal choices. We came here for dinner and made a reservation which I recommend doing as it gets busy. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and feels very welcoming. The hostess was friendly and our waiter was nice. We started with the Tru Crisp'd Buffalo tenders as they were on the happy hour deals. I was quite surprised by them as I don't typically like Buffalo sauce but these had a great flavor and didn't taste like Buffalo at all to me. But spicy but really good. We also ordered the Edamame dumplings but were later told that those were out (it wasn't even 5:30pm). After apps we ordered dinner- my friend got the Sza Cza salad with shrimp which she said was delicious. I originally ordered the pesto pasta but once again was told after ordering that they were out of it. I landed on the lasagna al pesto which was really good. I was disappointed that they didn't inform staff right away of things that are not available so that these issues didn't come up multiple times during a single visit. read more
