Egg white turkey omelette with breakfast potatoes
    Brian S.

Thought we'd try out a breakfast Brunch place but better than the average. Good looking place and well staffed. We were seated immediately although not having a reservation. Might be best to do that next time. The waitress was kind and informed. I believe her name was Nora. She knew the restaurant's history and where other locs were even in other states. I digress. I got the egg white turkey omelette with breakfast potatoes for a protein hit since I just rode 22 miles on my bike earlier. My wife got a quinoa dish of sorts. Each came in a bowl and were delicious. The breakfast potatoes were on point. My omelette was well stuffed with turkey and cheese, so much so the outside the egg was browned although not to distraction. Afterwards we had a lemon Olive Oil Cake with mascarpone and strawberries Well done. We dined outside and had our dessert inside. We were not disappointed at all. Well done, bravo!

    Scottish Salmon* sub fried rice

If this was a cafe they would have my order memorized and placed the minute they saw my face. I always get the Scottish salmon with fried rice substitution no mushroom. Found it when I was more restrictive and had a hard time with most meals and it's stuck till now.

Came here for our work team dinner. Sat on the patio and it was beautiful. Loved the comfortable benches, the water spraying in the air, the lights, and the chill vibe. Artichoke ricotta dip - the chips it came with were a hit. Tuna on crispy rice - winner! Potstickers - standard, nothing outstanding. Korean skirt steak - 5/5 entree. 5-6 strips of meat with an Asian flair to it. Lemon olive oil cake - lightest dessert, so delicious. Mac and cheese - good side! Service was on top of everything. Great experience.

Went here for an early breakfast with a girlfriend. The patio is spacious and elegant. Our server was lovely. Brought dogs and they were given ice water. My omelet was very good and potatoes had a nice crispiness. The espresso martini was one of the best I've had in the valley. Will definitely try coffee next time.

Harvest Bowl with steak - delicious.

I enjoy The Henry - the food and drinks are consistent and the ambiance is nice. I usually get the Korean skirt steak dish but lately I've been ordering the harvest bowl with steak - the veggies have a nice char and I enjoy the pesto and cashew harissa. My only complaint is that the spicy tuna crispy rice is good but the price is pretty ridiculous for the actual serving size. I've always had good service and have enjoyed my meals here.

Short rib potstickers (two left of the four!)

My two girlfriends and I wanted to try out the new Henry location off Mayo Blvd., and am glad we did. Happy hour prices were much more affordable for us. I got the Paloma cocktail, short rib potstickers, and brussel sprouts. Food was really, really great with the brussel sprouts being some of the best I've had! My friends had the burger and said it was just okay. The place was very crowded, and very loud, so not a place I would go if I wanted to carry on a conversation effectively or not hear the customers next to me. Service could be better, as there were two tables when we walked in that needed to bussed and it took them 15 minutes to clear them off even though hostesses and servers were just standing around. Our waitress was okay, but not super friendly. Overall, the experience was good, food worth it, but if you're looking to not spend a lot of money or quieter ambiance, this is not the place. Happy hour is a good option!

The Henry has some of my favorite food ever. The salmon is the absolute perfect pairing of flavors, and sauces. The beets paired with the crunchy nuts and pesto make it a 10 out of 10 literally one of my favorite meals and all of Phoenix .Service is always phenomenal. The restaurant is always busy. I've also tried the mac & cheese here and it was delicious. The lemon cake for dessert is moist light and a refreshing way to end a perfect meal. The one downside is that they got rid of the fig mules, and those were my favorite especially on happy hour. Please bring those back. I loved them.

    Delicious Pomegranate Hibiscus spritzer

They have valet parking for free as well as a pretty big lot, although this place gets really packed! Ambience is everything here and the design inside is very chic and modern and really really cute! They have a big patio for outdoor seating as well as a bar that seats a lot of people, and a pretty brig restaurant with two huge rooms for private event events. When we were there there was a bridal shower that was being held. Every single thing on the menu is so good and I couldn't wait to go back and try something new. I ordered the pomegranate hibiscus spritz, and my boyfriend has a pineapple guava mimosa. Both were really good, but the spritz was better! we ordered the turkey dip which was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Its served hot with a juice sauce on the side and a mild horseradish it was delicious! We also ordered the Aji tuna chop salad, which had an amazing flavor to it, and it was really really good and fresh. The bathrooms are beautiful and look like a work of art and I'm very very clean. All of the staff is super friendly, helpful and very nice.. We checked out the bakery on the way out and got a couple of danishes and I can't wait to try the fruit one because it looks so good! Highly recommend there are multiple locations so anytime you see the Henry go in! You have to try this place!

The Henry always delivers an amazing meal and I can't recommend it enough! Their short rib is always a huge hit! We had some amazing drinks the espresso martini is so cute with an H on top and very tasty!

Unequivocally a cool spot. Came to The Henry mid morning for coffee. $4.50 for self serve, I thought it was a joke when I was rung up. When I went to serve myself coffee, it was cold, dribbling out. Regretted my choice. Not a coffee option for me.

    Lucy N.

Loved checking out this location of the Henry. I've been to the other location many times so couldn't wait to see how this one compares. I love the outside covered patio area. I think this outdoor space beats the outdoor space of the other location. My server Taylor was super nice and made my visit a great one. I got the Chicken & Avocado Salad. It's truly the best salad on earth. You'll thank me later! I want to stop again to try their grab and go coffee shop. The Henry hits every time, and is always on my bucket list when I come to town. So glad they're opening more locations!

This location on Central needs some help in the kitchen. How you going to over cook a hamburger. Service was a 10 and the ambience was a 10 . The Henry is always good just bad burger

    Seared Tuna Chop*

I've been to both locations of The Henry and I think this one is much better! First, the service was so great. We had an older person in our group who couldn't handle the loud noises of the main restaurant, and our server was great at finding a quieter, accesible table. The food was really great too. I thought the seared tuna salad I had was one of the top 5 best salads I've ever had! The dressing was well coated on every piece of lettuce but not overpowering! And the tuna was perfectly soft! I'd love to come here again.

Alright, then. Good cup and saucer. Amen. Then asked about stirrers. Told to use a plastic spoon. Please tell me if anyone in France would ever stir a real hot coffee in a proper cup and saucer with a plastic utensil. Anyone? Right. Please offer wooden stirrers to guests and bonus points for a real spoon for those of us who don't want a paper cup. It really makes a difference. It would be criminal to use plastic. The (Sort Of) Almond Croissant An almond croissant is the secret test. It's like tasting vanilla at an ice cream store. Forget the others. This is the litmus. But before we talk almond, I had to do a double take on the receipt that thankfully I emailed myself. Because is this in Soho? West Hollywood? The Bay? How did this turn out to be $14? Because the almond croissant is $7. Say again. Never mind the best croissant spot in the West Village is less than that, but I took a bite, and oh my. I almost got up and said something. But I really was not in the mood. I had other things to attend to. Where do I start. Well, there was barely an almond to speak of. Hint of almond. The paste was like a disappearing act. But that I can handle. It was the texture. It was hard. Tasted old. Bland. Forgotten. Like someone forgot about the almonds, forgot them in the car. It was July 4th, and they remembered. I've had better croissants at airports. Ok, in the EU but you get the point. Did I just choose the wrong pastry, or the wrong day? They all looked pretty. Everyone got the berry thing. The Table My table was wobbly. Not awful but enough to be annoying. Between that and my phantom $7 almond croissant. The one left behind before someone remembered the almonds. That one. Can anyone use one of its cousins to hold up this table and fix this wobble? Might have been a better idea than breakfast. The Restroom Ok, cute idea to have a kitchen utensil as the restroom key. Nifty thought. Here's another. Can the liquid dispenser for soap be repaired or replaced? That too is wobbly and broken. You see the theme here. And dry hands. The (Bare) Display Case I had read about sandwiches. I love me an egg salad. The display case was bare. Maybe M-F? Lots of (plastic) pellegrinos. No Perrier or other sparkling in a real glass bottle. And definitely no Orangina. The Plants The plastic plants on each table. For the outdoors, sure. For an indoor French cafe table with $7 croissants, not so much. The theme again. The Staff They seemed stressed. I don't know why. When I ordered I felt more tension and rushed then a my corner pizza shop in NY. I don't get it. They tried though. Like it feels serious. High stakes. No smiles. All three not one smile. An Encore? Maybe. Overall, maybe. I don't know if I chose the wrong pastry and the wrong day. Could it be that. The Bread The bread looked good. I will give it that. And more expensive than my local bakery in NY. My Orwashers loaf purchased weekly is $12. And the slice it. And bigger. And they smile. But maybe if the bread is good, I am happy. It's hard to find good bread in Phoenix let alone this area. The Menu Please have it displayed somewhere with prices. Think that's a professional courtesy. I went online to see the menu from my phone. Or even a code to link. But something. A strange visit. Quite different than expected. I had hoped. Now I don't know. If anyone of the items mentioned are addressed for the next visit, whether the wobbly table, wooden stirrer or real spoon, or restroom soap, or even better a smile, or an almond more, I'd be vastly delighted. I'd love for this to work. There is time.

Phenomenal food, drinks, and service. I got a blended chai, asiago bagel with cream cheese, and cinnamon roll. I like super sweet drinks and read that the chai can be spicy so I asked for it to be sweetened; I might try it without next time because it was plenty sweet and the best chai I've had in Phoenix. Also the best bagel I've had here - fresh, super cheesy, perfect balance between soft and cheesy. The cinnamon roll was because they didn't have cupcakes but it worked out. It was soft and smothered in incredible cream cheese frosting. I live within a block of 4 coffee shops downtown and will happily drive here from now on for my weekend treat. Plus, from their Instagram, I support their values and advocacy. A new favorite!

My favorite thing is the bodega bagel - your choice of bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and bacon. It's so nice being able to get a breakfast item without eggs (since I can't eat them) that is filling and delicious. I also love the m&m cookie and get one every time I go! The environment is so welcoming and inclusive, and all of the staff are friendly. The restrooms are not gendered and clean as well! We don't live close, but I love every excuse I have to visit.

From the display cases, the colors, the jars they sell their quick breakfast chia seed pudding in and the furniture, it's all really nice. The coffee flavors are all there. Food that people ordered looked fresh. I'd just say that my latte was sweeter than I expected. Next time, I'd have to order it less sweet.

This year, I've visited after work with coworkers and after work alone to get more work done. Despite the limited parking out front, there is free curbside parking beside and behind the coffee shop adjacent to the nearby businesses and residential area. There is ample space inside with various types of seating and ample charging and free wifi. The front area has window counter space and couches/love seats to lounge. The back area has small tables, large tables, desks with lamps, and a love seat. My only complaint is that this large area gets pretty hot in summer afternoons without adequate AC or fans back here. It was like this last year when I previously attended the evening coffee raves. Both times upon visiting recently in daytime, I ordered the Dark Horse latte, comprised of dark maple syrup, smoked sea salt, espresso, milk. I love this latte because it's sweet but also has depth from the smokiness and saltiness. While I think the coffee is on the pricier side, I'm incredibly satisfied with my drink choice regardless. Overall limited specialty drink menu (which is what I usually care about when exploring coffee shops) but many options in general. Seems like people mostly come here to be on their laptops opposed to socializing here, which I appreciate. This is an incredible spot to work, especially since they close later in the day at 6pm, offer free wifi, ample seating, ample charging.
