We located this Location based on one of my YELP friends that I've been following for years as she really loves Aftermath. On this occasion, we were lucky enough that they had live music. The musician was fantastic and just really talented. We ended up sitting in a nice cozy booth where we could stretch out and feel comfortable and relax. For drink drinks we ordered the old-fashioned and also the big easy. We both enjoyed our drinks and moved on to ordering Andre's. My husband ordered the aftermath burger and I ordered the meatloaf. All in all, we were really happy with our selections and actually ended up getting a second round of cocktails as they were really delicious. For this round of transition to the Cabernet red wine, which is Dauo Wines and it was really tasty. We'll definitely be back, hope that this musician continues to play live music. We partook of bone marrow 4.5/5, pigs in a blanket 4/5 (really should be singular), burrata 4.5/5, Aftermath Caesar 3/5, Rigatoni Alla Vodka 4/5, Shrimp Cocktail 4.5/5 and the happy hour single patty Aftermath burger 3/5 (big mistake, me being cheap, this burger needs the normal second patty) and fries 5/5. I had this place on my list of must try burgers. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! We ordered the wings and two burgers. When I ordered my burger, I asked for bacon and the egg, and my friend said to the waitress " make it two". Burgers came out after about 20 minutes. I asked about the wings and she had forgot to add them, so I asked her if she could still put them in and bring them out. My burger had no bacon and no egg, my friend's burger had egg, but no bacon. Fries were fried to a dark brown crisp!!! Halfway into the burger she finally came around, I mentioned that it was missing the items. She went to the kitchen and sent the manager to come to our table and see what the problem was, I simply explained that it was missing the items we added and still had no wings he said he would be right back. He came back with the check and said to us "I apologize for the issues, here is your check I only charged you for the burgers". 04/19/2026 This spot had been on my list for a while to try their popular Aftermath Burger. Made a Sunday 6:00pm reservation with my friend. It looked pretty busy when we got there, and we heard live music would start at 7:00pm. For drinks, the menu says to ask about mocktails - I would prefer that they list it on the menu so that I have more time to decide. I forgot what was in my mocktail other than yuzu, but I enjoyed it. I think my friend's mocktail was blackberry with ginger beer. For food, they are known for their Aftermath Burger, but the Jalapeño Bacon Burger sounded even better. We told our server that we were going to share everything. We didn't ask to split the burger, but I guess he told the kitchen to, so that was a nice surprise. Did not see an up-charge for that either. The burger was SO good - loved the crispy edges of the burger patties. It was so flavorful, and I would definitely go back for it. The crinkle fries were extra crispy. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka was okay, though I wouldn't order it again. Same with the burrata - I was okay with the sliced almonds for some crunch, but the fresh strawberries did not pair well with the burrata for both my friend and me. My wife and I have been meaning to give Aftermath a try for quite some time, and we finally got around to it last night. It has a lovely ambiance, the food is good, and while we had a few issues with our food, the service was delightful. We also found some fun offers when booking through OpenTable. We arrived to Aftermath for an evening reservation on a Saturday night that we made through OpenTable. The parking spots in front were taken so we drove around to the back where there was plenty of parking. We found a parking spot right by the back door to the restaurant, which we had to pull to open (though that was easy to do). We then walked to the host stand and were seating right upon arrival. Our server Allyn was wonderful! She answered our many questions, gave some great recommendations, and made us feel right at home. We started out by ordering a cocktail and wanted something fruity, sweet, and made with vodka, and while nothing on the menu fit this request, we had Allyn work with the bartender to create a "Bartender's Choice" drink, which turned out to be a Blackberry Mint. It was exactly what we were hoping for. We then ordered Rigatoni Alla Vodka for my wife (consisting of imported rigatoni, Calabrian chili vodka sauce, parmesan, and basil) and an Aftermath Burger for me (consisting of 2 Arizona grass fed blend patties, velveeta, red onion, house pickles, toasted onion Kona bun, and Aftermath burger sauce with fries). We learned that the Rigatoni Alla Vodka has a spiciness level of 2 out of 5, though Allyn put in a request for my wife to get it at a 1 out of 5, and it was perfect. Our only issue is that when my dish arrived, the fries were actually cold and the burgers were barely lukewarm. It was busy at that time in the restaurant, and once I got the attention of someone to assist, they quickly brought out a replacement burger, which was delicious. Gosh where do I start? Well my friends have been raving about this place for quite some time so we decided to visit on a Thursday at 5pm, we had reservations and sat at a booth. Our server Allyn was absolutely awesome and if this review was about just our server, it would be a full 5 stars. However, the manger Alisha was absolutely terrible. Alisha could learn a thing or two on great customer service from Allyn. We all ordered kimchi fried rice, if took a long time to get to our table which is fine cause that means it's really cooked fresh. The menu said that it came with a fried egg and my friend ordered an extra egg. When it came to the table, the egg was definitely sunny side up, not fried at all. When the manager walked by, we flagged to let her know so that we could scrape the runny egg off of the plate to get the fried one. The egg broke on the rice and it was gross and my friend does not eat running egg like that. The manager looked annoyed and said she would ask to get a new plate. We waited for 10 mins and the plate came back... and guess what, the manager only asked for the fried egg and put it back on the same plate on top of the runny egg yolk. And didn't even apologize. She dropped it at the table and left. Allyn came by and we let her know what happened and she was so kind to apologize and said that they will remake it entirely and it will be on the house. When the new dish came, it was perfect, thanks to Allyn. Then we ordered dessert.... The manager Alisha came by the table and just dropped it again. No customer service like "enjoy" or "is there anything else I can get you?" Honestly if she didn't want to work that day, she should have just stayed home. If it weren't for Allyn, this review would have been a 1 star cause Alisha was terrible. Thanks to Allyn for saving the meal and the experience! This was my 3rd time at Aftermath, and each time has been a very different experience. The first time was with the large birthday party. The service was good, and the food was great; we especially enjoyed the wings! The 2nd time, just my hubby and I came in and sat at the bar. The service was great! The food was great. The 3rd time, myself and two of my girlfriends came in, and it was a lot different. It took 20 minutes to just take our drink order, about another 30 minutes to get our food, and after about two hours, we had to ask for our checks. It then took the server like 15-20 minutes to come back with our checks. We all just paid, and after I got home, I looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged $19 for the salad and fries and $7 for the drink. The famous award-winning After Math burger is a must try of course, although I recommend to ordering it with a double patty (they are smash burger style) for the best bun to meat ratio. All the food is fresh and delicious. We LOVE their beef tallow fries and that the restaurant doesn't use seed oils. It's an overall good quality spot with an elevated feel that isn't flashy. The place has a lively bar area with sports on the screens, but we were a bit underdressed in our baseball shirts and shorts. The vibe definitely leaned more towards smart-casual, so next time, we'd probably opt for something a little more polished to fit in - though we felt comfortable nevertheless. There was good parking in the back of the restaurant - the front was filled up. The service was incredible here - the host and our server both offered excellent service, regularly making sure that we had everything and our waters were always filled. We were seated very quickly and our burger also arrived quickly. The burger itself was outstanding: it was incredibly large (I had to eat it with a knife and fork) and the flavor was incredible. All the food came out with great representation (like food art) and it was all very good. Parking is in the back, and you can enter from either the lot or off Bethany Home. All the times I've been in the area I've never noticed this spot! Our server was super nice to let us take time to chat and peruse the menu, all the while I low/key dropped news about their burger. So three of us ordered it and had no regrets - lots of flavors, not too messy. The side sauces for fries were solid - but my clear winner was ranch #MidwesternAtHeart. We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The location is in a strip mall with limited parking in front of the business; however, they do offer parking around the side & back. Upon entering, the interior as dimly lit in the main area and dining area with a decent size bar. It appears to have a small patio, but I cannot confirm that. They also have side dining area with several booths and tables, which they pulled together for us and was a little better for lighting. Our server, Sean D was friendly and professional and from what I could tell, quick to get drink orders filled. I opted for the Cesar salad and added on grilled shrimp. Our orders came fairly quickly and our server received assistance from other staff members helping out with the delivery of our food. My Cesar salad was good and I like the touch of fried capers. The shrimp were jumbo sized, seasoned and cooked properly. The food and generally the staff were great. While they appear to be set up to service a gathering well, they were not so willing to accommodate us with bringing in our own cake for the celebration. While I understand their hesitation and policy; they were only willing to allow us to serve the cake for a fee of $25.00, which was disappointing. Caught the tail end of Happy Hour with a girlfriend on a Friday afternoon. The ambiance feels like elevated sports bar vibes-- with sports on the TVs at the bar, but plenty of regular seating to enjoy the company of the people you're with. We were able to get our drinks at HH price, which I believe was $3-$4 off regular pricing. My friend and I opted to share everything and went for the Aftermatch burger and Caesar salad with chicken. The burger was gooey and delicious because of the velveeta cheese and paired nicely with the onion bun. I appreciated that they provided 3 dipping sauces for both our fries and tots! All sauces were delicious and didn't have to skimp on our dunking :) What I really appreciated was the Caesar-- particularly the grilled chicken! The Aftermac I was really looking forward to because it's such a splurge for me but to me it seemed a bit dry, it wasn't the creamy, oozing, cheesy, macaroni that I was so hoping for... yes it was still good just not what I expected! For our entrees I had the Baby Gem Salad with Salmon, everything about the salad was delicious.... the cucumber relish on the gem leaves was so good that I ended up not even using any dressing & the Salmon with the crispy skin was perfectly cooked! As for my husband, he had zero complaints with his Aftermath Burger sub with Muenster no red onions. We decided on the Key Lime Bar for desert with an espresso martini & double shot espresso... being from Florida we are definite key lime fans & if we see it on a menu, that's it the decision is made! I apologize I was slow on the picture taking of the desert, lol because the weight of the crust on the cream started to collapse the desert but don't judge because if you love key lime like we do then you must try this desert....the crust held together so well with the butter yet not brittle falling apart & as for the creaminess of the key lime, well it was perfectly balanced with no complaints.... So the Key Lime Bar was just an amazing end to our meal! Lemonade is made in house, the rigatoni alla vodka was out of this world, and the burger was solid. I'll be honest, the Brussels sprouts are extremely overpriced and were not worth it, the flavors didn't work. The kimchi fried rice was solid, the Mac n cheese was delicious, and the wings were really good as well. The Caesar salad was also delicious. The food, drinks overall are great. The relaxing small feel ambience keeps me coming back. I had the bartenders choice for a drink. It was the lychee martini and it was perfect. I also had the macaroni and cheese for an appetizer. That was excellent. Lastly I was in the mood for red meat so ordered the steak frites. This was a disappointment for me. At $47 it should be more substantial. Next time I'll get the chicken. read more
