Came here on a Sunday night with family, we didn't have a reservation, but it wasn't busy so we were able to get a table within a few minutes. We started off with the charred cauliflower appetizer, which was alright, the portion was really small and the cauliflower was definitely harder like not fully cooked and barely charred. They do have a big menu so it was hard to decide what to get when you're really hungry, but I got the teriyaki quinoa bowl, and added two pieces of the air fried chicken. When my dish came out, the portion was also pretty small and there was barely any chicken in it. Our food also took an extremely long time and when they brought out the chicken Parm that we got, everything was cold, the pasta, the chicken, and the cheese was not even melted on top. The taste was also very bland and was definitely the worst chicken Parm I've ever had at a restaurant, do not recommend. I do love though that they have fresh pressed juices. I got the bright eyes drink and it was nice and refreshing. They also have other mocktails and nonalcoholic drink options, which is nice. Considering that they weren't busy, we were really confused why our food took so long and that things were brought out cold. Popped into True Food Kitchen for the first time after my niece's baby shower since she and her hubby are vegan--and wow, what a great choice! We had a reservation, so we were seated right away. Our server was super friendly and got our drink orders in quickly. Before we knew it, the table was filled with the most delicious-looking dishes. Everything came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. I'm happy they have all kinds of choices--not just vegan or vegetarian. Anyone can find something they'll enjoy here. Ruined our Valentine's dinner!!! Things started off nice. We came early at 5:30PM & ordered the prix fixe menu to make things easy. Excellent chocolate cherry old fashioneds. Burrata plus bread appetizer was perfect. Then things went sideways... My wife's risotto didn't have the requested chicken. I had ordered the steak & Frites - medium rare. They brought me a steak that was extremely rare. I asked them to put it back on the grill for 2 minutes. 10 minutes ... nothing. 20 minutes ... server told me it was coming. 30 minutes later ... they brought back just a piece of burned meat. See the picture. No fries. No salad. Took another five minutes to flag the waitress down. She apologized and said that she would bring back the fries and salad immediately. 7PM ... we gave up & I never received my dinner. True Food is a great option if you're looking for clean and healthier meal choices. We came here for dinner and made a reservation which I recommend doing as it gets busy. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and feels very welcoming. The hostess was friendly and our waiter was nice. We started with the Tru Crisp'd Buffalo tenders as they were on the happy hour deals. I was quite surprised by them as I don't typically like Buffalo sauce but these had a great flavor and didn't taste like Buffalo at all to me. But spicy but really good. We also ordered the Edamame dumplings but were later told that those were out (it wasn't even 5:30pm). After apps we ordered dinner- my friend got the Sza Cza salad with shrimp which she said was delicious. I originally ordered the pesto pasta but once again was told after ordering that they were out of it. I landed on the lasagna al pesto which was really good. Most True Food Kitchen's get my 5 star review. This one has the same quality food and service. However, the interior is one of my least favorites. It's very open and the tables are super close together (you can barely get in and out and I'm thin). It was also quite difficult to hold a conversation with my husband because of all the chatter at the table next to ours. Other than that, everything was great! read more

We met my sister here for lunch today as we wanted a little healthier lunch. I had received a code for a BOGO entree on Facebook; so we used this today. I had the forbidden poke bowl, Sis had the Quinoa bowl with shrimp and hubby had his favorite chopped salad with added chicken. Dinner at a True Food Kitchen. We chose this restaurant because of the large Vegan selection. My daughter had the plant based burger with kales salad and side of soup. She loved it all except for the cheese which she said tasted like Kraft singles. My wife had the turkey burger with kales salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. We had a very large dinner at True Food Kitchen on a Thursday evening. Two tables of twenty each. The service seemed overwhelmed. We had a pre fixe three course dinner. It started with pizzas, Brussels sprouts and edamame appetizers. I har the beef for dinner there was also Salmon and a vegetarian option. The food was quite good. My beed was slightly overdone but not so much that it was inedible. Everyone seemed to enjoy dinner. The place was very crowded and very loud. Sadly the waiters were not super responsive. True food has always been a favorite of mine but I went recently and had to ask for at least 4 different glasses and another plate because they were all dirty. I was with a large party and many of them also had dirty dishes. It was late and none of us had the energy to look for anything else to eat so we stayed. Idk if it was an off night but the food just tasted okay. No flavor just ingredients slapped together on a questionably clean plate. I rarely, if ever, write negative reviews but sadly feel the need to do so. We ordered a slice of squash pie to go at the Biltmore location and were very disappointed once we got home and saw the pie. It seemed undercooked (filling wise) had a burnt crust and tasted sour! Also the filling had orange stringy pieces in it (like what is around the seeds) and we ended up throwing it all away. Not to mention the server did not even put the coconut whipped topping in the container. Total disappointment at $10.86 a slice plus $2.00 tip... ugh. read more
