I've been a regular at this cute restaurant for many years, predominantly for brunch, and never had a bad experience. The food is always perfect, and I love that there are many vegetarian options. Love the owl theme and all the trinkets everywhere. Service is consistently good. It's a very cute place, and I always hop over to Changing Hands Bookstore after eating to browse around. Always plenty of parking available.

Family raved about this café in Tucson so I was delighted to see one in Phoenix close to favorite shops (Dollar Tree and Target!). The décor is interesting. Obviously, owls are prominent in their decorating scheme but everything (including the overhead lights) has a price tag on it. It's a very colorful, noisy, casual atmosphere. We got the best of both worlds on a mild Saturday morning when we were seated right next to the patio in a wide doorway that kept the shade on us but let us enjoy the fresh air. The menu has a wide variety of breakfast /lunch items that appear to take most dietary restrictions into consideration. I had a really tasty beet salad that combined beets, blueberries, cherries and goat cheese over some fresh greens. My guest had the fried chicken sandwich and some of her French Fries. I accidentally ate some of them. Service was friendly, the food came out quickly and we enjoyed the environment. I felt it was a good value for the price.

Really enjoyed this breakfast a lot. The staff was so friendly and gave us our food so quickly. I ordered a two egg breakfast and it was yummy. The eggs were a bit overcooked but it was still good. The cinnamon roll is a must. We shared one at our table and it was so good! They also do. Free birthday cinnamon roll. They also have bathrooms and lots of seating. I loved how everything was purchasable in the restaurant room from chairs to plates.

Went today for breakfast. Quickly seated and got great service. The food was very tasty. I could've easily just had one pancake. They are super filling and perfectly cooked. Would totally go back again for breakfast

I met with some friends for brunch before work and we had to try this spot out! This has been on my list to visit for a long time and it did not disappoint! The service was quick and the food was delicious. There was plenty of food for this bowl as well, it was quite filling. The potatoes and veggies were magnificent. There were so many owls, you can buy any one of them! I debated on buying a snowy owl from this place, I may just have to go back and buy one. I highly recommend coming here and eating at this warm & cozy restaurant spot!

Tried for the first time and was delicious, but for a regular breakfast-not sure you can mess it up. 2 eggs scrambled well, 2 sausage (little burnt), home fries and English muffin. I had coffee( smooth and got a to go cup for the ride home). Ended up buying a coffee mug just cause. $33+tip. Nice decor, owls everywhere, music in the background and service was great.

Amazing and friendly staff. Fun and decorative environment with owl treasures everywhere! The owl chilaquiles were very tasty. Best breakfast option in the area.

I had been to the Flag location several years ago and was super excited to have a location a bit closer to tucson! While in phx for a late sunday concert- we absolutely needed yummy body fuel the next morning! My gal pal is vegan so this was a no-brainer pick for us since they have a dedicated vegan menu! As a non-veg I still ordered the vegan chorizo burrito because it is THAT good! Packed with veggies (carrots, Brussels, zucchini, and more), just egg, soyrizo, and perfectly seasoned potatoes into a vegan tortilla! AMAZING! Staff were super chill - as seems to be the toasted owl way- and of course the entire place is decked to the teeth with adorable owlish ephemera and collectables (all for sale even)!

Locally owned cafe serving an American menu for breakfast and lunch, with vegan options located in The Newton. Ham N Cheese Omelette (3 eggs, ham & white cheeder) served with potatoes and your choice of bread, I got the sourdough. Service was friendly and fast. The place was clean, a lot of seating, and owl are everywhere (super cute).

This is my go-to breakfast spot whenever I'm in Flagstaff and I was super excited to see a Phoenix location open! I actually like this location better than the one I've been to in Flagstaff. The inside is open and there are large windows with tons of natural light. I love all the cute and unique owl decor- which just FYI you can purchase. There are a lot of gluten free and dairy free options which is a plus for me. I ordered the avocado toast on gluten free bread and it was delicious. The service is prompt and friendly. He knew about allergies and I felt safe.

Kitschy owl-themed brunch cafe in the Camelback neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona. While not vegan, it has its own vegan menu with favorites such as vegan pancakes, bacon lettuce tomato sandwiches, and a breakfast bowl made with plant-based "Just Eggs". In addition to bacon, you can also get vegan chorizo and chicken as sides. Serves endless coffee and for a fee, you can go home with the owl-themed mug. In fact, most of the vintage owl decor in the store is for sale. The store started in Flagstaff and has now three locations, this being the first in Phoenix. It brought that northern Arizona charm into the Valley which you can see reflected in the friendly servers. This place is good for small groups with mixed dietary needs and is kid and accessible-friendly.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food here! If you love owls, you will love this place. The entire restaurant is decorated with owl art and owl kitsch. Only detracting factor was that the service was rather slow. Our server was really nice and certainly trying but seemed a little scattered. We had coffee, which was okay and shared an order of the almond hot cakes. These were excellent! They were so good, we even tried to go back here later another day when we were in the area but they close at 3 and we missed out. These things are huge. One could easily feed two people and we ordered two thinking that they were small. We ended up taking one home which we enjoyed another day with some hot chocolate. I also got the breakfast tamales which were excellent. All the menu options have some sort of owl name or theme which is cute. You can purchase some cute merchandise as well such as hats and tee shirts but it is rather expensive for what it is. Still, they got me, I love owls! Also it's close to a nice independent bookstore so you can browse there while waiting for a table. If there is a line they will text you when a table is ready. We didn't stay here not have to wait long. Definitely look forward to returning here.

Invited a new friend to this restaurant. It is the 2nd time I have been here and it was just as amazing as the first time. We sat in the main area where the windows are floor to ceiling. This area gets a little warm when the sun is direct but when it gets behind the tree it is perfect. The restaurant is well staffed and the food is amazing. The ingredients are so fresh. I am very picky about my vegetables being cooked just right and it is done well here. The atmosphere is very relaxing and not very noisy even with many people in the room. The new friend that came was raving about her dish as well. She also loved the owl decor and plans to come back soon. I definitely recommend this Cafe for a nice visit.

FIVE STARS!!! Omg. William was friendly and he made sure our entire order was made to order so our fries and beer battered mushrooms were fresh! They charcoal broil your burgers to order in front of you! Everything was delicious! You can definitely taste the charcoal broiled meat!!! The fries were perfectly salty and crispy! We asked for extra crispy fries. And the beer battered mushrooms were crispy on the outside, salty and juicy on the inside. It is also important to note that they premade bacon pieces in the shape of the burger patty so every bite has bacon! It was spectacular. I love my entire meal!

It's not strips of bacon but instead a circle of bacon. So good and crispy! The condiments are self serve in this middle area and you shout your order when it's your turn and then wait for your burger to come up then grab a tray, your burger, drink and side. I love a nostalgic place, and this is def that! It was packed when we got there but don't fret. Line moves fast and people eat and then get out knowing it's a place you eat and then move on.

Burger was decent, bun was excellent. Burger itself, nothing special over say a Culvers or Freddy's. Fries ordered well done were excellent! Asked for them to be well done and they were! Service: You order at the counter and they bring it out. Old guy in me is always confused on the tip here. Back in the day, this was not a tip situation. Paradise Valley Burger has become somewhat legendary in this part of town. I first heard about them…read morefrom a co-worker who swore by them when they were located down the road, but when they moved to their current location not far from my office, I knew I would have no excuse to not try them. I wandered in for lunch one day and noticed that the menu appears to have been scaled down from what they used to offer according to friends, so there aren't as many "wild" choices for burgers anymore as far as I can tell, so there are five burgers to choose from. I was going to try something basic for my first visit to get a feel for how they do a typical burger anyway, so I ordered the $10 Paradise Burger, but since I'm not really a fan of cucumbers or pickled onions, I had them leave those off. What remained were the beef patty, lettuce, tomato, and thousand island dressing, so I added bacon for an upcharge. I also went for the combo and got fries and a drink for an additional $6. (Other burgers on the menu are more expensive, ranging from $13.50 to $14, and they also offer a couple of chicken sandwiches and a grilled cheese sandwich. They have two salads as well, and the rest are sides, drinks, and desserts.) Service was friendly, and after ordering, I grabbed a table indoors. They have a little bit of outdoor seating and as many tables as they can fit inside. It's a small, very basic place--clearly known for the food more than the ambience, but there's nothing wrong with it. It's not meant to be anything more than that. Once my burger arrived, the presentation was good, and I dug in. The burger was very tasty, and the fries were delicious. The patties were cooked right, and I had no complaints about the portion size. Although everything was good, I guess people had pumped up the place so much that I expected more. I wasn't "wowed," but I had no complaints either. I might feel a little disappointed in the more expensive burgers, but I won't know until I try one. I'd probably feel better about a slightly lower price for the combo add-on. Ultimately, I think this is a decent burger joint and a place you should try. You may very well come away more impressed than I was!
