Chelsea's Kitchen is one of those places that really captures what makes dining in Arizona so enjoyable. The outdoor patio is beautiful, with string lights, a brick fireplace, and surrounding trees that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's a fantastic setting for dinner, especially when the weather is nice. We had quite the spread, including the Chicken Nachitos, Green Chile Cornbread, LGO Short Rib Tacos, Ribeye Tacos, and Green Chile Burger. The nachitos were piled high with chicken, melted cheese, guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, and jalapeños. Although they're no longer listed on the current menu, I wanted to include them because they were part of our experience. I actually appreciate how Chelsea's Kitchen changes its menu over time, giving guests something different to look forward to while keeping some familiar favorites. The Green Chile Burger was another standout in presentation, featuring roasted green chiles and melted cheddar, with macaroni and cheese on the side. The short ribs and grilled ribeye came with colorful accompaniments, including guacamole, pico de gallo, and a kale salad. The Green Chile Cornbread was also beautifully presented in a small skillet with a golden crust and butter on the side. We also tried the Brussels Sprout Salad with manchego, almonds, dried fruit, and bacon, which offered a nice contrast to the heartier dishes. The cocktails were thoughtfully presented, and we finished the evening with key lime pie and a refreshing sorbet. Beyond the food, the patio is what makes Chelsea's Kitchen particularly memorable. We had a party of 3 for lunch at 12:30 pm on 10/22/26. We were seated right away. We chose to sit on the patio and it was absolutely gorgeous!! The weather was perfect, and they also had fans. It was seriously paradise, highly recommend sitting out there. We got an appetizer and two entrees. We split everything. Here's what we got: - Iron Skillet Cornbread ($15): So warm and fresh! Really good! My friends said they wished it was sweeter though. - Chelsea's Cheeseburger ($22): I wish the burger had more flavor. We got it with the fresh sourdough English muffin, and the staff kept hyping it up, but I didn't think it was anything special. The fries were AMAZING, so perfectly seasoned and crispy. - Prime Ribeye Steak Taco ($36): BYO tacos, comes with a lot of meat. 4 tortillas, but they asked if if we wanted them to bring more! Wish the steak had more flavor. But liked the rest the additions. - The soup of the day was a tomato and bell pepper type of soup. They gave us a little shot of to try! A little amuse-bouche! From the moment you walk through the parking lot and see & smell the "wood-smokers" doing their job, to entering the beautiful establishment, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Our experience was nothing short of perfect! The food was AMAZING! We ordered the Eggs Benedict & a bottle of champagne with a sidecar of OJ. If the hollandaise sauce is not scratch-made, they have us fooled. The building, decor & garden patio 's kitchen is is absolutely beautiful. The staff was very attentive and kind. The coffee they serve is one of the best I've had at restaurants in Phoenix (most are too weak or too burned). I recommend you try everything. My favorite salad is their Brussels sprouts salad. Even if you don't like Brussels sprouts, you are going to love it. :-) Their patio is green and lovely. Hands down, you must order their chicken nachos AND steak tacos. I love ordering them medium rare, and they are litteraly sooooo yummy! I dream of those tacos. You build them yourself, so you add everything you like. They are VERY shareable. My boyfriend and I share them and it's the perfect size. I do feel like their desserts should have a bit more variety, however they have some delicious cookies right when you enter that they bake every few hours. Must try! It's almost like having dessert before dinner (I'm a huge fan). Also, this place very good fresh squeezed orange juice! If I go a little earlier than expected, I always end up have two. Came for spring training and ended up coming here two night in a row. The name of the restaurant was very generic but thankfully the yelp review and pictures enticed us enough to try it--and I'm so glad we did! The first night my husband got the prime rib tacos and I got the short rib tacos. While the short rib tacos were good. The prime rib tacos were OUTSTANDING. The meat was marinated and so flavorful. The kale salad was tart and sweet (maybe pickled like?) and paired so well with the prime rib. My son got a burger the second night and the burger was also delicious. I honestly had no idea what to expect - it smelled Smokey outside on the way in and inside the restaurant, it was described as a roadhouse, and they had a ton of green chile items on the menu! What a fun surprise! We asked our server what is favorite dish was and why and he, without any hesitation, exclaimed with excitement the ribeye steak tacos. We thought they seemed overpriced in the menu but decided to give it a try. It was a whole sliced steak! With a huge scoop of guacamole and pico and a pretty hefty serving of the kale "slaw" which was more of a salad than a slaw to me. Everything was delicious! If weather is good I suggest sitting outside, we were lucky and sat next to the firepit! We started with the Tuna Tartare that also came with guacamole. I've been here a few times and usually really enjoy it and this was likely a one-off situation, it doesn't reflect that I do like this place generally but probably won't be returning for a while. We went here for my grandmas birthday on Labor Day. We were seated at a beautiful corner table that was huge and just a perfect spot for the five of us. Our server was so sweet and kind and brought us everything we needed. They took my allergies into account and were great about it. I ordered the chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it! Absolutely cleared the plate. Here's where things got a little shaky. The food came out at different times, all of us had our plates but one person for a few minutes. Our first round of cocktails did the a bit too. BUT we got dessert for my grandma and we ordered red velvet cake. We received the key lime pie cake and looked around for our server and she was busy at some other tables. We all took a bite (including me) and someone mentions they taste my allergy. I had swallowed a bite already and then immediately spit out the rest. Our party enjoyed it anyway so they ate about half before our server came by. She confirmed it had nuts in it and looked at me and remembered. She then asked me if I was okay and apologized as the kitchen had messed up and she reread her ticket and the kitchen had just not paid attention. As she was done explaining, she finished and dropped the bill and pretty much dismissed us. It was so bizarre. The receipt even had the right red velvet cake we ordered. I didn't end up having a huge anaphylactic reaction thankfully I got it out of my system, but that whole situation definitely could have been avoided and maybe handled better by our waitress. We thought since it was incorrect she would comp it or something but just kinda dropped the bill and kept it moving. What a fabulous find. My uncle was visiting from NY and was wanting some place that offered good food, outdoor seating and a chic atmosphere. I had found this place and was like ok let's give this a try. We came for my birthday lunch. My partner had been there many years ago but this was everyone else's first time. We started with the prickly pear margaritas. Our server was on point. He offered great recommendations, good humor and excellent service. I ordered the fish sandwich, my uncle ordered the swordfish and my partner ordered the plant based burger. The portions were perfectly sized, everything was hot and tasted fresh. My uncle enjoyed the swordfish very much. The big highlight was the delicious slice of red velvet cake with the French vanilla gelato. That was the best red velvet cake I have ever had. My cousin took me to Chelsea's Kitchen after seeing the restaurant featured on "Check, Please." It did not let us down! We both ordered chilaquiles, which came layered, like a Mexican take on lasagna. We got to choose how our egg was prepared. I opted for scrambled, and it was the perfect choice for me. The portion was generous, but we couldn't pass up dessert. We split the key lime pie, which was served with strawberry gelato. Thank goodness we shared a dessert, because it was enormous! A half portion was more than enough! We ate indoors because it was a hot June afternoon. The atmosphere was nice, and our server, Kimberly was helpful and friendly. On our way out, we checked out the patio sand it was super cute! I'd love to dine out there if I'm back in town. One thing to note: the restaurant has a large parking lot, but limited stalls are available for self parking. They offer free valet parking for the rest of the spots in the lot. Free is nice, but we were kind of annoyed by the situation because we easily could have parked in one of those valet spots on our own. So be prepared to hand over your keys if you visit, and of course have a few bucks on hand for a tip. read more

For dinner, most of us ended up with either burgers or tacos. I had the green chile burger - absolutely delicious, huge portions. (The green chile burger is not spicy!). They were busy, but never once said, let me check on your order, or I'm sorry it's taking so long, kitchens slammed, NOTHING, not a word... I had to flag bartender down (because not once did he check on us) asked if they had to go to Idaho for our cow, could he possibly check on my order, I wouldn't know because he never came back. When it was delivered by an entirely different server, I said it had taken ages, she went and retrieved our ticket to find out what time the order was put in. And there lies the problem.... The order wasn't put in, until about 20 minutes after we placed it. A frustrating mistake, but a mere apology would've been sufficient.
