A great spot to get a great drink and American fare, this little gem is located in an easy to find parking lot with plenty of parking. We were seated quickly, and we sat at the bar and watched all the magic happen. We ate the bacon wrapped dates with a harissa sauce this was a great flavor profile for the old fashioned. The interior was very updated and appropriate ambiance. I would certainly eat her or stop in for a drink anytime. read more

We discovered Fire at Will through a ChatGPT recommendation and are so glad we tried this wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Located in a newer outdoor shopping center, the restaurant has a comfortable, modern atmosphere that feels polished without being formal. Our server, Olivia, was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She made several strong recommendations and helped make our first visit especially enjoyable. We ended up sharing the ribeye, as we weren't too hungry, it was cooked to perfection and was more than enough for the two of us. The owner was also very attentive and genuinely appreciative that visitors to the area had chosen to support their independent, chef-owned restaurant. The entire experience felt welcoming, personal and relaxed. We will definitely return to try more of the menu--and next time, we'll save room for dessert! read more

Fire At Will - Ribeye Steak and loaded baked potato - New American Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

My husband and I went to dinner at Fire at Will last night and were somewhat disappointed with the experience. We had 6:30 reservations and were seated promptly, but because the restaurant itself is more on the smaller side, we were between two different tables, and it was extremely hard to hear each other with how close the tables were. If you are someone who doesn't mind this atmosphere, it's a great spot, but it is very challenging to hear when you're sitting across the table from someone and you've got other couples/ groups to the right and left of you. The wait staff were awesome and the service was great; we were not overly impressed with the food (no substitutions for certain items based on allergies so be aware). We had the bacon wrapped dates (good), Cesar salad (fresh but had a very tangy lemon flavor) and the beef bolognese ( we really wanted to like this, and the sauce that itself was good, but as the noodles were very al dente and more of a protein wheat based pasta flavor). We are glad we tried it (thanks Mrazsports!) but would not make it a rotational restaurant. read more

I kept hearing good things about Fire At Will and knew I needed to go check it out. It did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to stop in for lunch one day when we were in the area. The interior is modern and moody and would be a great nighttime date spot. Service was great, even for lunch. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. Possibly one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a long time. Absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back and try the dinner menu. read more

We came here specifically because we had heard that the hush burger was one of the best, or possibly the best burger in the valley. I wouldn't go that far but it was a good burger and the fries were also pretty good. They had a lot of other food on the menu that looked good, so I would love to go back and try some of those too. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon, and the atmosphere inside seems better suited for a nice sit down dinner, but we still enjoyed it and the service was really friendly. read more

Finally made it to Fire at Will. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and it ended up being the highlight of my visit. The portion was noticeably generous, and the sandwich was put together well nothing messy or falling apart. The chicken was cooked properly, had good flavor, and the sandwich overall tasted genuinely delicious. It felt like a solid, reliable menu item that I'd order again.Service was friendly and the staff moved things along at a good pace. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere, and everything from seating to timing made the visit easy. Between the quality of the sandwich and the smooth experience, Fire at Will earns a strong four stars from me. read more

I love this place!!! Everything was phenomenal except the mussels. They were cooked perfectly but the sauce tasted like the smell when you drive by a cow farm. Everything else was so impressively good!!!!! The staff were nice and the interior was clean. Now I am a margarita girl but the "Julio by the bay" drink was soooooo good. So fresh and citrusy. I would get it again in a heartbeat read more

Came by for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, plenty of available seats so we were promptly seated. Wife loved the look of the place as it was a cozy vibe with modern/chic decor. Our waitress explained the menu with some good recommendations we decided to go with. Started off with the truffle fries and the Iberico ham croquettes (which they brought out by mistake, but we loved). Macaroni au gratin followed after and is easily declared some of the best mac and cheese I've had. Our main was the Hush burger which came with our originally ordered crispy Brussel sprouts. Burger was decent and we loved the caramelized onions, but the Brussel sprouts were divine! Service was great even with the appetizer mix up (just an extra treat), everyone was very friendly and food came out very quickly. Obviously coming back to enjoy the rest of the menu. read more

Outstanding food, service, cocktails, and ambience. Came for restaurant week and I'll definitely be back to try the regular menu.

Door dash delivery. Burgers were burnt & dried out. Not edible. There should be an option as to how one likes their burger. Well done & burnt doesn't cut it. Never again. read more

Delicious food and excellent service, we will be back. Gets busy around 6 so go early to beat the crowd.

Beware. The advertising portrays a totally different atmosphere than our group found. The space is a featureless rectangular space stuffed with tables that say "noisy formica cafe". The room is not clubby, rather so noisy that staff had to lean close to us and ask that we repeat what we said. Our group of 6 opted for the patio, which was better soundwise. The menu is strange, including pickles in the salmon dish and other unique combinations. Most of our group opted for burgers, which were very delicious and arrived hot. Staff were very gracious and effective, but we could not wait to get away. If you don't mind paying $18 plus tax and tip for a top-flight burger and fries, you might consider ordering for pickup. read more

Was looking for a new spot in the neighborhood and came across Fire at Will. The restaurant is tucked away in a plaza and has a very friendly neighborhood feeling when you walk in. The server was super friendly and walked us through the menu and his recommendations. We started with the croquettes which were absolutely delicious dipped in the harissa aioli. I would get these again in a heartbeat. The Hush Burger is 2 smash patties with caramelized onions and the restaurants special sauce. This burger was up there in my top 5 for burgers in the PHX area! The grilled ribeye with a loaded baked potato was the perfect combination to top off our dinner. Would recommend anyone in the area to try this spot for any special occasion or a fun weekend dinner! read more

Another great dinner with outstanding service. This time the green chili smash burger...it was excellent, nice and juicy, with their special sauce, and, included their well seasoned fries. Still offer a full bar and a great selection of craft beers. The service is efficient and friendly. Definitely will be back, they still have other options we want to try. read more

The bacon wrapped dates are absolutely to die for. It sounded rather odd but I'm glad I tried them because they were so damn good. The salmon dish was awesome too with Asian inspired flavors. I had the lady of the night, French 75 inspired cocktail. It was so good I had two. My boyfriend had the burger which was the best burger I've ever had. Although, I work at a famous burger joint I would say it tops ours too. It was pretty dark in there so that made it hard to read the menu but as far as ambience it made it feel truly inviting. The service was great because the server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us sound advice on what to order. We also had dessert...something banana. It was amazing as well. They deserve a 10/10. I'll be coming back for sure read more

Enjoyable staff, comfy seating, with an open kitchen, clean bathrooms, and overall restaurant GET THE BACON WRAPPED DATES. The burger was overly salted, and the Caesar salad is more of a Parmesan salad. Lacked acidity and dressing. If it was listed as a regular salad it would be fine but it was definitely not Caesar enough. The croquettes were delicious and I'd come back here because of the appetizers and the awesome service. Unfortunately the burger was a miss for me along with the salad. Truffle fries were really good and they go well with ranch. Dates was the best thing I had here read more

First time dining at Fire at Will. Overall enjoyed it! My wife and I enjoy the sister restaurant Hush in Scottsdale, one of our favorites. Fire at Will has good craft cocktail choices with excellent service at the bar. We had the Hush Burger which was solid. Appetizers were delicious = the Brussels Sprouts were unique and tasty, the croquets were good and the bacon wrapped dates were the best appetizer choice. The ambiance is similar to Hush but a bit larger inside. Miss watching the chefs prep the meals and share what they were creating like they do at Hush. The restaurant was nicely decorated. The server was helpful and courteous. We never felt rushed. The Hush burger was great and so were the fries. The Chilaquiles were so so. Chips with some pork and a fried egg on top. A small portion and more expensive than the burger. The PEI mussels were good, but did not have enough broth to make use of the grilled sourdough bread. If I return I will order the burger which was very good read more

This place was super cute on the inside. Pretty casual ambiance. Service was great. Met my girlfriend here to catch up and try something new. I thought it was okay. My girlfriend ordered the chicken Marsala and she only had a few bites. She didn't care for it. Said it didn't taste like anything. I ordered their chopped salad and some fries. Their fries were delicious and I liked that it came with three dipping sauces. The salad was disappointing. It lacked flavor. I had to add salt and pepper which made it OK but just with everything it had, did not have any flavor whatsoever. I won't be coming back. read more

Came here for dinner with some friends and really enjoyed it. Good food and drinks and a nice laid back environment. I'll definitely return to try more menu items. The service was good, but after our food came out (which was super quick) we got the impression that they were trying to rush us out. I'm not sure I've ever complained about a server being TOO attentive, but this one felt pressured. read more

I wish I had read reviews of this place before going. A lot of items that are pictured on this Yelp page aren't offered on the menu. No Scotch eggs. No lobster roll. The service was attentive, but I felt bad for the wait staff. My girlfriend ordered a salad with salmon. She sent the salmon back twice (undercooked in the middle) before requesting to have it removed from her bill completely. That's lost revenue on the tip for the staff. And the time it took to get our food was way too long. I get the impression the kitchen staff is disorganized, despite the open kitchen looking very clean. The portions were too small for the prices. The pop was served in a can without any refills. It alternated between too loud and just loud. You had to scream to speak to person across from you at the same table. The menu was too limited. My husband got the bolognese (it was pretty average) and I had the shrimp with grits. We skipped dessert, but our other friends tried it. For $6, you shouldn't get one small scoop of ice cream in a metal tin. I wanted to like this place, but I won't be back. read more

Been here two times and we enjoy it! We started with the Brussels - we thought it was a unique take on the dish. And we enjoyed them. French onion dip is good but a little boring. The hush burger is delicious. Not a fan of the fancy sauce - but always get it on the side and they accommodate. Service and ambiance is fabulous. Great local spot. read more

Brussel sprouts were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection Mac and cheese was a hit and recommended by our server and we thoroughly enjoyed it Burgers were grilled / prepared with such care and are on our top 5 of best in the valley. Situated in a small shopping center, there is plenty of parking. We were seated immediately as we had a reservation. Service was very good. Our waiter was very attentive. The place was hopping with people of all ages. We started with delicious brown buttered bourbon cocktails and bacon wrapped dates. So yummy. I had the sesame salmon served with a small salad. The salmon was full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. My friend and I shared the blackberry and blueberry cobbler, which was a perfect way to end our wonderful dinner. Served warm with a small scoop of ice cream, it was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back when I'm back in Phoenix. read more

Fire At Will popped up on my socials and I immediately put it on my list for next date night, which happened to be this week! It's located in a strip mall setting next to some other more fast casual restaurants, definitely unassuming. The inside is super vibey though, with dark details, wood tones and greenery. Their entryway sports a super cool gallery wall of prohibition influence art. We love sitting at the bar when it's just the two of us, so obviously had to snag seats there! It was not too busy on a Sunday evening, they definitely had a good crowd, but we had no problem grabbing a seat and had a few options, though it did continue to fill up at the evening went on. We were greeted by the bartenders, who were friendly and gave us a few moments to determine our beverages. Nothing quite spoke to me, they seem to have a fun list of classics with a twist. My husband got the Big City, with is their twist on a manhattan, and he enjoyed it. I shared his second cocktail with him, which was the Sloe & Steady which was a gin forward cocktail and was really nice, balanced, fruity, smooth but not overly sweet. The bartender let us know a few house favorites, including their famous Hush Burger (which is one of the things taht grabbed our attention on social). We opted to start with the bacon wrapped dates, the gem salad, the hush burger with fries and the halibut which came with saffron and corn risotto. The goat cheese stuffed dates were delicious! Super unique with a spicy red pepper base. I do think serving it with a small slice of bread, would worthwhile, as they give you a lot of the base sauce, which is delicious, but leaves a lot of leftover that could easily be enjoyed with a carb-y acoutremon. The gem salad was also delicious and super fresh - highly recommend. As for entress, we loved the burger, though nothing particularly special, it was just a delicious burger. The sauce, melted cheese, on the grilled noble bread - chefs kiss! The halibut was good, the saffron corn risotto was really the star of the show and I think the overall dish lacked a bit of flavor. I am glad we tried it, but I would not necessarily get again. Everything else we ordered is definitely a repeat. We sadly did not get dessert, though the chocolate tiramisu and seasonal cobbler were speaking to me, I just did not have the room! The menu prices were also super reasonable, especially for the quality of the food and overall portions, with burgers and sandwiches around $20, entrees rangingin from $25-50. We will definitely put this in the rotation! read more

Everything was amazing! My friend thoroughly enjoyed her burger! Bun was buttery. Asparagus was deliciously flavored and crispy! My boyfriend and I split the ribeye (medium rare) + baked potato. They pre-cut the ribeye before they put it on a cast iron to keep it hot. It was incredible. I ate every piece of the steak. The potato was crispy skin on the outside and flavored well and the inside of perfect consistency. We all shared the brussel sprouts and truffle parm fries. Omg. Both appetizers were amazing. The brussel sprouts had some kind of soy sauce marinade on it - and it was perfectly crispy. I'm a huge fan of truffle fries - not soggy, perfectly crispy and there was truffle parm all the way down to the last fry. Sometimes restaurants will just drizzle parm and truffle on the top of a pile of fries, but not this place!!! It was delicious! Will definitely come back! read more
