Wonderful spot for food and drinks. We came here on a Friday night and it was busy but not overly crowded. The sushi restaurant next door had a DJ so we enjoyed some music as well. Rather small inside but the outside seatings are great. They also have a room across from the restaurant for more space. Brandon was brilliant. He is so helpful and made us feel very welcomed. We had a variety of beers and food and they are all great! We didnt planned to have dinner here but the open faced toasts are so good we had to order other things on menu to try. Decent food, on both Panini Chicken & Beef. The drink menu is really nice with many variety selections of wines and beers (some locals). Service is good -- Brandon is very friendly & good communicating since he seems to be the only person runs the show. It has a cool vibes with up-beat musics and dogs friendly. The parking situation is a bit tricky -- few spots reserved for the restaurant -- not sure where to park if these reserved parking are not available. Came to the Greedy Hamster at about 8 on a Sunday night. There were only about 2 other parties eating at this time, and both was finishing up. I ordered the traditional 12' Pepperoni, bacon, and mushroom pizza. The pizza was good, especially for the price of 15$. My only issue with this visit was that it took 45 minutes to get my pizza, which seemed excessive considering i was the only customer with an order at the time. The owners (Larry and Trish) are some of the greatest people you'll meet. They are full of stories and genuine fun. More than fair price points and a very welcoming energy. Wine selection is good and they are very involved in the community which is always a plus. Truly a great place to come and support. There is outdoor seating as well and they have a wine club that does some really fun wine nights. If you're in the neighborhood this is the perfect place to come and try some new wines and catch up with a pal without any pressure. The outdoor seating was a great choice for the season--just a bit breezy through the plaza corridor, but there's shelter behind the cushioned benches. The sunset was a nice touch, with pink skies and palm trees to the west and cloudy blue skies to the east. The music was a little loud but not a dealbreaker. Pizza was about a 6.5/10--not bad, but I'll have to try more menu items next time. Big plus for happy hour running until 6:30! I think I was expecting something upscale because it's a wine bar but it was very laidback, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a very small and casual bar. My partner and I split a bottle of wine and ordered food. The hummus plate was delicious. The only con is the size of the place. It's very small so when the kitchen is in use it gets hot in there, we moved over to their lounge which had more space and better AC. The staff was friendly and helpful with their suggestions. Nice shady outdoor patio and seating, accentuated nicely with lights. They have a larger room right across the path. They do beer clubs, wine clubs, and other events. Limited parking is one of the knocks on this place. And also hard to locate if you're unfamiliar, as the designated parking spots are behind the building around the back. What you can expect though that makes up for it is charm, friendly service from the bartender and cook, intimate setting, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, and tons good food at good prices. read more

Stopped in for Wednesday happy hour as my friend and I hadn't been here since the change in name/management. Service was great and Brandon was super friendly behind the bar. Tons of interesting and fun wines to pick from and beers both on tap and in cans to suit any preference. They have an awesome deal on Wednesday for a pitcher of beer and a pizza or bruschetta board for only $20. While the beer was delicious the pizza was just so so (my husband said the leftovers tasted like Dominos). For being made in a fancy looking little oven and having fresh dough/ingredients it honestly lacked much flavor. Still giving this place 5 stars as I came here for beer and just decided to try the food because of the special deal - I'll just order a small snack and skip the pizza next time. I gave this place several tries, but the service and food isn't as good as other places within half a mile. It's a fun wine menu, but some are quite pricey ($17/glass). The food menu is decent but the portions are small for what you get and not very flavorful. They seem to cater to regulars from the condos next door who come & go with open tabs. One guy sat at the bar on a very loud FaceTime call and the owner just "bro'd out" with him. We had to ask him to lower his voice and that pissed him off. Finally, there's no service. You have to go to the bar to order anything or ask for your tab. Postino is infinitely better and right up the street. The Henry, Windsor & Joyride are all better and nearby as well read more

This little beer and wine bar (with inexplicably cheap yet delicious food) is the kind of place that everyone wants around the corner from their house. An eclectic wine list will have you asking lots of questions about what each one is like as you probably haven't heard of most, but each selection is curated and there for a (good) reason . Would be nice if they had a more detailed written description but this is the kind of place where the staff will know what each one is, so ask away. The $11 pitcher is the way to go @ $3 less than two pints. Would recommend that the owner upgrades from current cheap plastic ridge pitchers (exact ones Pizza Hut and dive bars had 40 years ago) to smooth glass ones that most decent places use now. Plastic feels cheap. Glass is healthier and makes everything better. They have an event space across the patio. Nice patio with a couple windows that open so you can belly up to the outdoor bar when they're open. With the cost of everything going up I hope you check out this place for food and drink, which are both priced well under market. read more

We came to celebrate a college graduation. What a FANTASTIC experience!!! The owners were so accommodating to our large party. One of them even played a card game with the younger grandkids. Every menu item was outstanding. Sandwiches, pizza and entrees all tasted delicious. The atmosphere and the attention made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. We were all from out of town, so we took a chance on the place, so glad we did. It is a pleasure to frequent somewhere that folks enjoy doing what they do.
