Just moved into the neighborhood. Absolutely love this place. I've been 3 times now, the sidewinders and brats are delish and they have a great selection of beer. The bar tenders are super friendly and helpful and always give great recommendations. Looking forward to this being a new local spot for me to frequent. The vibe is great, they have TVs and the Sunday ticket for NFL games. read more

Large beer selection but I wish they had a few options for non beer drinkers. Food was mediocre at best. We played two game while we ate and both were missing pieces. read more

This is a great place to meetup with friends. They have a wide selection of beers (both canned and drafts). I'm not a beer drinker though so I didn't get any, but I did get the mac and beer cheese for $8 and it was pretty average. Their food selection is pretty typical pub fare. The service here is very friendly and helpful. There is a nice shaded parking lot behind the restaurant. They have a few shelves filled with board games. read more

Went here for a game night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of different beers on draft. They have a lot of cool different theme nights (game night, trivia, dif flights etc.). Chairs were a bit uncomfortable. Did not try any of the food. read more

This is a cute spot with easy parking and a wide, crowd-pleasing menu. Different varieties are color coded on the menu to help you find what you like. Staff were helpful and offered samples when we couldn't decide what we wanted. They have a nice place to stay and drink, with TVs playing sports and a chill ambiance, but they also have a lot of to-go options. read more

Tried out The Casual Pint for their weekly Trivia Tuesday and wasn't sure what to expect. I would categorize it as more of a bar than a restaurant. I didn't sample any food but there were a few menu items that caught my eye, specifically the pretzel with beer cheese. Despite being heavily advertised to the local community, the bar wasn't near full capacity and the sound volume was pretty quiet compared to other similar establishments. I had very attentive servers who coached my teammate and I through the signup for Trivia. The trivia provider was via a chain service Trivia Nights App and there wasn't a local host. The format is 3 rounds and a lightning round and it kind of dragged toward the end. You do win a prize if you end in the top 3. Overall, The Casual Pint is a fine establishment and makes sense if you live locally- I wouldn't encourage anyone to drive more than 10 minutes to show up. There's a weird dichotomy of feeling like a corporate chain establishment while the menu is all about local brewers. read more

My husband and I were driving by and ended up stopping at the Casual Pint to grab a beer. There is a large selection of beers to choose from, which caters to a variety of tastes from sours, hazy IPAs, largers, and your darker beers. There is a large selection of games to play. The overall service was great! They also seem to have a variety of events. Tuesdays at 7pm are Trivia and there is themed trivia like Emo Trivia and Music Bingo. Definitely a place to check out! read more

This is simply the best craft beer place in Phoenix that I've been too. Whoever is locating the brews for this place is doing a incredible job. Not only is this place offering some of the best San Diego has ( I live there so I know) but they have it on tap and in cans. Then there's brews from Santa Cruz, LA. . ect. Our server " Dan" was well informed on every beer we asked about as well as showed us canned beers we would like yet never knew about. Now the food. From inhouse made beer cheese to flavorful brats, jumbo pretzels. . . ect Yeah, 5 Stars ! read more

Great ambiance, solid bar food menu, and great staff. Food came out quickly, even though they were busy. Great selection of beers on tap and canned. Wide array of board games to choose from and different tables to accommodate different group sizes. Only downside is the seating can be a little tight, but truly not that big of a deal. read more

Make sure to ask what size they're pouring. They're pouring the biggest one if you don't. And your tab doubles out of no where. Probably why there's no one in there :/ unfortunate business practice. read more

I really like this place despite the food not being very good and the beers being on the pricier end. They have bar seating, tables inside with a lot of board games, a few arcade games, and a patio outside. It's a nice casual place to grab drinks with friends if you're looking for a relaxing night out. I think it would be 10x better if they had a real kitchen and better food options (wouldn't mind some vegan options as well). I will still continue to come here because it's a cool setup, there are many beer/cider options (also a fridge with canned beers/ciders you can take home) and the staff is friendly. read more

I came here for a Meetup/Game Night - they're super gracious w/ everyone taking over all the tables! Of course, there's a ton of beer choices. I'm not drinking right now so I just had a Coke. But they did have a non-alcoholic beer on tap. The food is another story: I ordered a Chicken Quesadilla & it was not good. There was barely ANY filling at all AND it was deep fried. Cheese is pretty inexpensive - they could have totally loaded it w/ more cheese. I'd much prefer a baked/grilled Quesadilla. I would not recommend this dish. read more

So many great beers on tap - was told the rotate often! The gentleman recommended the lager since I mentioned my dog was getting a hair cut and I loved it. There was a fundraiser going on for dogs when I was there. I got to eat the drunken bratwurst and cheese pretzel - the mustard was especially good! Friendly service, good eats and tasty beer. Highly recommend read more

Great selection of beers, want to try the food next time. Would be nice if prices were posted.

Build your own 6-pack and board games?! Can't go wrong with that especially with an order of any of their sidewinders. Be cautious though southwest egg rolls may come out longer than expected and your brat may just be on a regular bun because they're out of pretzel buns. We encountered two servers/bartenders. One with black hair was so nice! She was super friendly and patient even when it got busy. Later a blonde lady came and wasn't nice. She was snappy, impatient, and more concerned flirting with her male counterparts. read more

Been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally made it! And then I asked myself, self, why did you deny yourself such a cool place? The bar tenders were super cool and knowledgeable, friendly, and just great! So many varieties of beers to try, flights, and the food? Worthy of honor for sure. Anything you can pair with a great beer, is here. Beer cheese? You betcha! Brats and pretzel buns? Duh, honey. I love that it's in our neighborhood, it's decently priced and good food, good beer, good service. Need j say more?! read more

I came here for a board game night and this place was fantastic. I really enjoyed the laid back vibes and plenty of space to hangout. They have excellent bar food, i would recommend the Meatballs. Come here if you need a place to meet friends for sports viewing and don't like the traditional sports bar vibes. There are the basic 4 people tables or more intimate 2 seaters, there's some larger communal tables, and there's a theater seating area where I assume they play big games and even movies from time to time. The drink selection is pretty robust, they have beer of course, but a lot of ciders, seltzers, and even mead! Definitely worth checking out if you want to hangout. read more

I really enjoyed my time here. When we arrived the place was pretty quiet. But it was trivia night it eventually became packed. It's kind of small, and with the rain no one was sitting outside. It did appear they have outside seating. They had a bar and several table. There was one pinball machine. But really you are coming here for the beer. I checked the me I online and was glad to see they had more than 1 good sour ale to choose from. All the staff were very nice, and the food we had was pretty good. The flatbread sandwiches can be served as paninis, which is what I had. I also tried the loaded fries with chicken. I would definitely go here again. The owner was very friendly, and our waitress was great. It is worth the trip. They also had merch for sale including growlers, shirts as well as a selection of bottle and canned beer. Also they had some board games available. Cheers! read more

This was a great laid back place for a Saturday night date compared to all of the busy spots nearby! My husband and I stopped in for a drink tonight and we're impressed with the wide selection. The color code the beers on their board by type which was helpful. My husband got an IPA and I got a blueberry lemonade cider. Cider was a bit tart but tasty! We had fun walking around afterwards and looking at all the bottles and cans too. Great place to stop by if you're in the area! read more

This was a cool fun spot! I came here on a holiday eve, I forget which one, but I think it was either Christmas or New Year. It was unsurprisingly pretty empty but I just wanted to check it out since I had never been and lived nearby at the time. I also needed a bottle to bring home and this was one of the few spots open. I picked out a bottle of bubbly and then sat at a high top and popped open the bottle and decided to try their quesadilla. The bartender was friendly and brought my order out promptly. The quesadilla was nothing spectacular but got the job done, also to be expected for typical bar fare. The wine was crispy cold, just the way I like it (it came straight from the refrigerated section). Price/value was fair too. I had a good experience here though and wish I had been able to return to attend some of their events; it looked like they had weekly stuff like trivia and other specialty events (paint and sips, etc). If I return to the area, I would try to make it back here for one of those nights! read more

I'm torn on my star rating here... beer- good. Food- terrible. But do you go to a beer place for the food? Don't come here for the food. It is defrosted, soggy and inedible. Mozzarella sticks had half of the cheese melted out. The hummus was really the worst- it tasted like chopped up chickpeas and garlic. Not smooth hummus like it should be with some olive oil mixed in. We could not even eat it. But the beer! The beer was great! Lots of choices on tap. You can do a beer tasting, too. Service was friendly. Come for the beer- go somewhere else for the food. read more

Great spot for a quick drink with friends. Have come here a few times now since we live nearby. We came here tonight for a nightcap, my wife enjoyed the cider and I tried one of the new beers. We came here using our Pub Pass (a passport type book that gets you a beer for a penny). The beer was fine but the food was awful. The beer menu here is huge! Over 40 beers to choose from. They had 2-3 ciders also. Our friend had a beer sampler, pictured. It was a fun way to taste several different beers. Since we live in the neighborhood, we were excited to try this local pub and eatery, however, many of the reviews are accurate in that the food is mediocre at best, this place is mostly to grab a craft beer. We had wings, they were uneventful and barely warm with bottled ranch, poorly cut veggies and the brat was a disgrace, I'm from WI & know brats) there was no pretzel bun, soggy and awful beer cheese and poorly executed peppers & onions. Do yourself a favor, Go for the beer, nothing else. The patio was also dirty and unkempt. We will not be back. Walk another block to Harvey's, where the food is hot, reliable & the beer is cold. read more
