Buffalo chicken wrap with side of fries
    Katie A.

We stopped in the Arcadia area on the way to a concert and wanted to try a new place. I worked in the area, down the street from the Attic Ale House for 3 years and never stopped by! The restaurant itself was fun - interesting layout, great roof top/outdoor patio, fun decorations, and a lively atmosphere. My boyfriend and I shared the grilled chicken buffalo wrap, the chicken caesar salad, and the soft pretzel. Everything was good! Our favorite dish was the caesar salad, the grilled chicken was cooked perfectly and the salad was well dressed. Our downside was the bar/restaurant's music was SO loud I felt like I was screaming at my boyfriend to have a conservation. It was so loud that the waitress misinterpreted our order (which was quickly fixed) but she couldn't hear us. The seems like a great place to hangout with friends on the weekend. Everyone was friendly and the prices were decent!

Sunday. Sunday. Football. Lots of TVs, very noisy, super crowded. Personally, I hate crowded Sunday football restaurants. Anyway, it's crowded because it's a super popular place. I had the Crush Burger and a mimosa flight (see pictures). Not one complaint. They have hand cut fries, that may be my favorite from any restaurant. burger was tasty, but nothing special. Mimosas were made perfectly for my taste. More champagne and less filler, super tasty guava, passion fruit and pineapple. Service was great (girl with sequined Rolling Stones tongue, forgot her name). Prompt, attentive and very pleasant. Would be a five star, but the parking sucks. I will def come back, just not on a Sunday.

Really nice setting with a view. The best chicken sandwich I've ever had!!! Thin breast pounded thin like schnitzel and seasoned like soul food, layered with pickled onion and jalapeno with a beautiful sauce. Went down perfect with my peppermint Porter. Bravo!!!

Best place ever. Good views, good drinks and good food. Great happy hour too. First time getting the onion ring tower and safe to say i will have dreams about it. Service is always great too.

Poor pour for a place w such a great beer menu

We sat around for about 30 minutes before somebody even gave us water so don't come hungry! We had to relieve a babysitter so it kind of ruined a rare night out for us. The view is great, I've always loved that. The have all the football games on usually so it helps with all the waiting. The mosquitos do get up there so be prepared. The food is solidly average. We got dry rubbed wings which my husband thought was bland and I thought it was heavy on the chili powder but well cooked. The attic crush burger was ok, not the worst not the best. The beer menu is fantastic but the pour i got today was pretty poor.. Kind of ridiculous at 9+ bucks but it was hh at least so I didn't feel totally violated (still about 7).

    Delicious pizza!

The food was delicious! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, very friendly staff. Went on a Thursday night and wasn't too busy. Only reason it wasn't five stars was it once we got seated, it took 45 minutes to put an order in and that's because we flagged down the waitress. Pizza, onion rings, and pretzel bites were delicious!

I was wondering why all the Christmas decor but then realized Xmas stuff is stored in The Attic haha love it

I went to The Attic and had a fabulous cocktail. The bartender made me The Paper Plane which they have listed on their menu. It was beautifully balanced and had quality ingredients. The perfect night cap. The restaurant was very inviting. I love the decor. The bathrooms needed a little TLC but other than that it was a fun experience.

I love this neighborhood jewel. Being close to my house & the confidence of good food, good service, along with an unbeatable view of Camelback. I love returning here with friends & family, as it's guaranteed a fun time while being fed well. Personable & attentive staff, lead by their fearless manager, Jerry.

Great service! Great burger! Great ambiance! Great owner and also don't get me started about the drinks because they are amazing! Highly recommend.

First time here and we got a different experience. Our son joined the Phoenix Firebirds rugby club this year and they have been sponsored by The Attic for many years now. When the club comes as a group they are seated downstairs in the sandwich shop and get a dedicated serving team. The sponsorship and special treatment had me sold already, but the food and drinks and service are what will keep me coming back. The GM was our server and the food and drinks came out so fast. He knows what he's doing and had quick great recommendations for beer, cider and food. I loved the POG cider, the brie and pancetta bruschetta and the prime rib sliders. Our club had a great time and it was a fun first visit

    Truffle parm onion rings appetizer

Love the attic ale house! Have tried many of their food items from pizzas to burgers to tacos- all yummy! The truffle onion rings appetizer is the best. Huge selection of beers and also a delicious sangria! The view from the rooftop is super cute and has good vibes. The only con is pricing is a little expensive.

Gorgonzola & Apple Salad (subbed mozzarella instead of gorgonzola)
    Kaelyn G.

5 stars for food, but 3 stars for service. The food was great and the bruschetta was possibly the best one we've ever had. However, while our server was very kind, service was extremely slow. Would recommend sitting on the patio (on the second floor) if the weather is nice!

Ask the Community - The Attic Ale House

    Is there an elevator?

Yes there is a public elevator with access from the ground floor courtyard directly to the restaurant upstairs

OK place to bring kids to (for early dinner - obviously nothing late night)?

Ya, I've seen people bring kids there but there are going to be mostly adults.

Do they still have the Wednesday beer and burger deal?

Yes! $12 for the Ivan and selected draft. Or $5 off for any burger and beer combo. And there's also a special burger of the week.

    Gluten free options?

Indeed! I can't speak for their crusts, but they certainly have terrific gluten-free buns for Burger Night!

To the cook making the food good job on the fried because I normally stay away from fries but they were so good that I finished the whole thing ‍ the drinks were amazing, I think it was the white sangria my favorite. The margaritas weren't to bad either the OG margarita wasn't so strong perfectly balanced with the alcohol. Definitely loved that they have a a cute back door patio, not overly crowded comfortable sitting. Perfect to do some remote work if you work work from home...oh and they got fast WiFi. They have the most amazing Parmesan Fries I've tried in quite some time, and I think the steak frites will make a decent meal. There are also quite a few sandwiches, and I had The Bee's Knees (chicken, citrus honey, maple butter). A bit stickier and sweeter than I anticipated, and probably something one should relegate to brunch, but I appreciate the chicken cutlet itself. I don't think anything on this menu is really out of this world, but you'll find something that works. The cocktails are not very enticing. I had a Pear Cucumber Martini and I thought I was simply served a double of cucumber vodka. Overall, I don't hate it, but there's not much of a return factor either.

It took like 20 min before they ordered drinks and 30 min plus before drinks were delivered! Crazy right? The first visit I got the burger and fries and it was delicious. The second time I got a steak medium well and loaded baked potato and the potato was very dry (like an older potato that was on its way out) and although I loved the overall flavor of the steak I had to eat around the edges only and avoided the center because not only wasn't it medium w no pink it was red! Also it had gristle and fat. For $44 it was a waste of good meat and I'm not one to ask a cook to throw it back in the grill when they should know how to produce different levels of cooked steak. The ambiance is a chill dim lit vibe and easy for conversations so that was great! The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Great mirror lighting too. But the front layout is odd, the hostess stand is right there so everyone crams in front of door and there's no barrier to the first large table so you're like staring at the poor people eating at that first long table lol! I think they need to switch up the entry layout and put up a half wall or decorative situation to tuck away that table a bit too. Just my two cents. Overall, I'd go again but it would be really nice if management saw this and trained staff on how to greet table sooner, take drink orders, and deliver said drinks timely for a more pleasant dining experience.

You can tell right away this is the kind of place regulars come back to often. Food I didn't try much food, but I did have the cheese crisp and it was solid. Light, flaky, and more like an open-faced tostada than a quesadilla. It came topped with green chili and chicken, and everything worked well together. Based on that, I'd expect the rest of the menu to be consistent, even if it's not trying to reinvent the wheel. Service Service was efficient, especially considering how busy it was. No complaints here... you can tell the staff knows how to handle a full house and keep things moving. Ambience This is where the place stands out. The vibe feels like a food network designed a biker bar, but in a fun, not over-the-top way. It's also apparently a Kansas City Chiefs bar, which adds to the identity. There was a live band playing early 2000s rock hits, which kept the energy up. Crowd was friendly overall, very much a neighborhood crowd. Overall This isn't a destination bar, but it's a really solid go-to if you live nearby. Think of it as an elevated dive/sports bar with a strong local following. Good drinks, good energy, and a place that does what it's supposed to do well.
