If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Came here for the men's national championship game, not busy, only 4 other tables sat. They had a limited menu "for faster service" - told us they didn't have wings, which is fine. Ordered a pizza, 2 burgers, and chicken tenders. 30 minutes after we ordered, they told us they were out of pizza dough. Not sure why that wasn't told to us right away, so we ordered another burger instead. Food took another 30 minutes to come out after that and the last burger we ordered in place of the pizza came out after everyone was already done eating. Tots were undercooked, burger was basic, should've went to inn and out instead. A table got sat 45 minutes after us, must've known the workers there because they were chatting a lot, got their food 10 minutes after they ordered and before us. Not a great look. Would rate this lower if I could. Came in for basketball, we were told they were short staffed. All good. We order a first round of drinks and look over the limited menu they are running "for speed." Ordered our food. Chilled. Our food took 45 minutes. Probably longer I'm probably being nice. It took SO LONG. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, pizza, and an order of chicken fingers. We had been waiting 25 minutes before she came over to tell us tha they didn't have pizza dough? Or wings? But they have 3 pizzas on this limited menu? Pleaaaase. So we changed to a cheeseburger, now 3 total cheeseburgers. The original two arrive, and the third is 5 minutes behind. Almost done with my burger by the time the third one arrived. Genuinely terrible experience. The bar is fun to watch games at, but that's about it. Our server did everything she could but man, everything was moving at a snails pace. Goodness. Came here to watch the Cats game a few weekends back when they beat Houston. Pretty disappointing overall. Paid $20 for a burger that honestly looked and tasted like something you'd expect from a dollar store. The fries were actually decent, but the portion was small, which was frustrating given the price. Service wasn't great either. Had to ask for ranch three separate times before getting it. To be fair, it seemed like they were probably understaffed, so I'm not going to go too hard on that, our server was trying her best. One of the more annoying parts was the outdoor TV setup -- the screens were on about a 20-30 second delay. It completely killed the experience, especially when you're hearing reactions before you even see the play happen. Pains me to say this because I love the dirtbags in Tucson but i ordered food at the bar here and paid before hand, and they brought be the wrong thing. I asked for a fried chicken sandwich and they brought be grilled chkn sliders with just chicken and lettuce, it was so dry and horrible. I asked for ranch and it never came and they never came by to check on us. So I just didn't eat my food and didn't even get the opportunity to complain or get any compensation. read more

I recently had the opportunity to swing by this location and was not disappointed. My friend was looking for a dive bar with sports on the tv and I knew they'd like this place. I'd been here before and am very familiar with the location in Tucson. I had the "seasonal cider" a pretty dark purple blackberry cider , a little sweet / tart combo. It was delicious. We split a huge order of chicken nachos. Plenty of toppings throughout all the layers. They had a taco pizza and green tea shot on their specials board. Plenty of indoor seating and patio seating for when the weather is good. They do have a giant tv outside on the patio. Private parking lot gets full fast, there's additional parking in the lot next door. We had great service and we're looking forward to our next visit. read more

This place definitely lives up to its name. When we arrived there were 4 people in the bar. After waiting for a while it became apparent the bartender was not going to come to our table so we went to the bar to order. The bartender was outside on the patio on his phone more than he was working. We ordered chicken nachos with jalapenos on the side. He brought a bowl of stale nachos with big chicken chunks. Everything else was in cups. He said since we asked for something on the side he just put everything in cups and we could make it ourselves. Then.... we got the bill. He charged us for four round of drinks. When we told him we only had three he said he was on the fence with how many drinks we had so he guessed. Food: I ordered the chicken tenders tossed in buffalo and they were DELICIOUS. I wish they give you more than 4. Fries were also soooo good Service: Jaydin was awesome, so attentive and a sweetheart. After she got cut, the server that took over checked on us at the beginning and then didn't come back to check on us for over 45 min, we had to ask for our next round from the bartender that I'm pretty sure was already off for the bill. A fourth server ended up helping us cash out but took forever. I am so excited that my favorite bar from Tucson opened here! I spent many nights at Dirtbags in Tucson and last night we went for the opening party for Dirtbags Phoenix! Food looked awesome- dirt fries and dirt burgers are the best! Tons of original shots to choose from. Such a fun atmosphere! Iconic games. Great crowd. Rockin' tunes. Wildcat bar! Will have all the Arizona wildcats games on with sound. The bathrooms are lined with pictures from the original dirtbags and I am in many. I would give 0 stars if I could. The main positive of this sports bar is that if you are U of A fan, you'll find other U of A alumni. The positives end there. The place does nothing to emulate the actual Dirtbags in Tucson. It's small, often overly crowded, rare seating space, and the TV's aren't the best. Most of that I can look over. Where the bar truly lacks is its service. We found a table and sat there for over 30 minutes before being attended to. We asked for two drinks and the food menu. 20 minutes later our waitress came back with 1 drink and completely forgot the other drink (mine), let alone the food menu. We waited another 20 minutes before she came back and reminded her that we didn't get either. Eventually she came back with the drink, still no menu. We were ready to order food and we were starving in anticipating of eating there. After the waitress didn't return for 45 minutes, I left, walked to a Chick Fil A half a mile away, ordered, ate, and returned before the waitress ever came back to my friends. The only reason I stayed at all was to watch the U of A game that was scheduled to start shortly thereafter. At the beginning of the game she finally returned and I ordered two beers. I ordered two assuming I wouldn't see her again for an hour at minimum. She came back at half time with no drinks in hand. I just decided to ask for the check and close out. Never got that drink. When she finally brought back the receipt, she said she forgot the beers and asked if I still wanted them. It had been over an hour since I ordered them. Obviously no. In total, I spent over 4 hours there. I never got served a single drink, never got to eat there, and left before the game even ended due to how bad it was. The staff was running around frantically without any organization and a patron next to us complained that their chicken strips that they ordered were still completely frozen. Needless to say, I won't be back. I'd be shocked if this place continues running. read more

Tried this place when they opened and it was fine. Underwhelming. Decided to give it another try today. Went in 20 minutes before March madness and it was empty. Got a beer and chips and salsa. Wife got a soda. Stale chips, bland salsa, flat soda. The kicker is I got like halfway through my beer before I realized the glass I was drinking out of was the dirtiest glass I've ever had the pleasure of drinking from. Dried beer foam all on the inside and green caked mold on the rim. Yum. If this is the best bar in Tucson then boy did I make a good choice going to ASU. Will never go back. Cons: minimal parking as it shares a lot with a couple other businesses, the mozzarella sticks were inedible, service is hit or miss. I've had some GREAT servers, and others not so much. We sat at the bar and Autumn was our bartender, she was friendly and personable, super attentive and quick. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! I sat at the bar by myself and barley got a hello or a smile. I ordered a BLT and as I waited I was sure she'd have brought me a water or asked if I wanted to order a drink. I mean liquor sales put more in the business pocket than a sandwich, but nope, neither happened. After my food arrived, I had to get her attention in a dead bar on a Thursday evening. The bar tender was working alone but was chatting up a couple at the end of the bar and could care less if I was even there. She never introduced herself, she never checked on me and speaking of check, I had to wave her down for that too. The BLT had undercooked bacon and the bread was so toasted that is scraped the roof of my mouth. My 10 year old niece makes a better BLT than this. Total waste of money and terrible ambience with the loudest music. I eat out by myself being newer to the area and I don't think that should warrant being overlooked. read more

I can confirm parking is a problem and the owner is a jerk about it. You can park diagonally across the street at Safeway at super busy intersection. The interior is lackluster with no comfortable seating. The food didn't hit and then they charge a service fee. The patio's greenery & trees from the previous restaurants here are so beautiful. A friend of mine had referred me to Charles (General Manager) to coordinate hosting a private event for upwards of 50 people which needed to be organized in a critical timeframe. I approached Charles less than a week out from our desired event date and he was quickly able to confirm the availability and help us facilitate finalizing the food and beverage arrangements in short order. I arrived early for the event and the private room that we booked was fully setup and Charles and his staff promptly started to serve the food right on time as guests began to arrive. We ordered most of the appetizers on the menu along with some salads and other items - the food was AMAZING. Autumn was our dedicated server / bartender for the event and she was extremely polite, proactive, and overall fantastic at her job! Would highly recommend working with Charles and his team on booking a private event at Dirtbag's - the food, drinks, and atmosphere are all top notch and reasonably priced. read more
