The food we had was not bad. Parking is terrible. I asked for a refill of ice tea and charged another $5 for it. If you look at the picture of the receipt for our lunch you can see there are 2 totals. If you pay cash it was cheaper and if you pay with a credit card there is a $2.50 fee. What? I never saw anywhere that there was NO refills on your tea or that there was a $2.50 fee if you use a credit card?! The server was friendly and one of the Chefs actually came out and asked how our food was. One of the girls at the bar kept changing the music and replaying the same set of songs. I have been here a few times now and nothing has changed. The 5'8 blond man who supposedly is the manager has a terrible attitude and is visibly rude to the servers. As a customer, this is something that I should not see/hear. I have never felt so unwell also uncomfortable during my dining experience and he has been in a bad mood EVERY-TIME I come. I understand the typical bad day, but this guy seems to have these daily. The servers from my 3 times visiting have been nothing but amazing. I truly feel sorry for the hard working staff. read more

We had a U Az alumni event at dirtbags this past weekend. Charles, the amazing bar manager (I wish I remembered her name) and the staff were great to work with. Their back room is perfect for groups that want a private viewing area. Wings, pizza and surprisingly the fried pickles were all very good. We went to Dirtbags for the first time yesterday. The food was excellent. I had the Big Tex Burger. It was cooked perfectly and was more than enough to eat. I am not a fan of waffle fries. The waffle fries at Dirtbags are exceptional! Loved them!! Husband had a Southwest Salad and it was very good. We also shared an order of the fried zucchini which was excellent. They had a speaker in the room we were in that did not seem to be associated with any of the tv's. It was loud and would have preferred if they had just silenced it. We did not ask so do not know if they would. Parking was convenient. I am somewhat handicapped and they were extremely accommodating. Overall, great experience and we will be back! read more

Food was OK. Weird spice added to zuchinni and mushrooms. Same weird spice added to the chicken very dry chicken wings. Rueben sandwich was great except the bottom rye bread was soggy. A little more time on the grill would have fixed that. Sandwich contents were perfect. I saw they also added a little surprise "Service Charge" to the bill even after charging $17 for a lousy dozen wings. And they were just the small drumettes. She even offered to serve us food at 9:40pm even they were getting ready to close at 10. Very cool place great music lots of TVs and a huge patio. Finally got to go to Dirtbags in Phoenix and it definitely brought back great memories from my UofA years! I was on my way to a Dbacks game and ended up staying to watch it on TV. Love the set-up! They brought signature memorabilia from Tucson, all the way from the bell, to the signs, games and carpet. You need to check out the pictures located as wallpaper and the fake ID's they confiscated back in the day. The food was amazing and Charles the GM and Scott the owner are such wonderful people, they made me feel welcomed! Looking forward to many more visits. Come check it out! read more

Dad got nachos 10 mins before mom and I got food. Burger overcooked and chicken sandwich like jerky. We ordered the burger less done and I swapped out chicken for nachos. It's been 15 minutes, so 25 minutes since Dad got nachos. When we got the burger, it was raw. We asked medium rare, got well done. Returned it, got raw...Side note, the manager did refund the raw burger and cold nachos. read more

Bad vibes from just walking in! Went on the first Sunday for football to watch a game around 1:30 pm. No parking so my husband dropped me off to ask about parking. Hostess gave me a blank stare when I asked for parking recommendations. There seemed to be a manager there he just said valet parking didn't start until 2:00 pm but offered no parking suggestions. Found parking and it was not too busy inside so was able to find seating. Go for the drinks! Good beer selection and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Food was subpar even for a college bar. Sorry this might work for the UA community in Tucson but not for an affluent Phoenix community of Arcadia! A security guard pushed my friends face out of the way because we wanted to get a drink. When we brought it to the bars attention they said, "well he normally is a nice guy" SERIOUSLY? Not called dirtbags for a reason. As I was getting a drink again in front of the guy who pushed my friends face, he said, "No, No, No you need to leave." And being a man was able to physically push me out. As I was quarreling with the guy for forcing me to leave for absolutely no reason, his co-worker, (a woman not knowing the whole situation) choked me out and did so to, "protect his co-worker". I have NEVER experienced this kind of behavior for asking for a DRINK!!! This is such a disgusting type of behavior. Upon entering at 4:45 PM was confronted by a bouncer that said me and my girlfriend had to pay $10 or would be, in his words, "escorted" out at 6 because there was a UFC event on tv that night. Very disappointed with Dirtbags. I've tried every concept that's been at this location, and Dirtbags is the worst. The pizza was horrible. I'd rather eat Totinos pizza. They can't melt cheese on nachos - no heat lamps to do this. The 'hot chicken' was not hot enough to melt the cheese from a bag. $7 for a PBR?! Last, they have a cash price and a credit price. Make that known. I understand fees being passed onto the customer, but not being fleeced for the fee. The difference was only $4.41 on a $140 tab. The problem: 4 of us split the tab, and each of us was charged $4.41. That's an extra $13.23 in a service fee that they made, $17.64 of a service fee. The 'Dirtbag' that tried to explain the charges when we asked about it gave a horrible statement and made the determination for me that I will not be going back to this place. There are many better places in the area to take my business to. Our server, Jill, was the only bright spot. read more

The staff treats customer with the upmost respect. Sat at the bar with Heather and she was exceptional, great attitude and service. The manager Autumn was so attentive and made us feel right at home. She is friendly to all the guests and explained what Dirtbags is all about with such optimism. She made sure that everything ran seamlessly. Additionally, Keanu came out from the kitchen personally to deliver our food and explained everything in such passion and detail, making sure to ask if we needed anything else.
