Don't usually drop these. But come on, post on your website and on Yelp what time the KITCHEN closes. You're going to spend all that time talking about your wings on social media then when people do show up they can't get them because kitchen closes. At least say it in your posts and heck on your website. Looked like a good vibe, fyi. Maybe I will get another chance to check it out prior to returning to NY. But for this time. Yeah. Went here after a friend recommended their wings, but unfortunately didn't get to try them. Google says they're open until 11 PM, so I called around 10 PM to check if the kitchen was still open--no answer, just voicemail. We showed up at 10:12 PM and were told the kitchen was already closed, which is understandable. My date and I figured we'd just grab a quick drink and come back another time for food, but the bartender mentioned they had already done last call. Totally fine, but the hours listed online don't reflect that. If you're planning to come around 10 PM, just be aware you likely won't be able to get food or drinks. Updating the hours would help avoid confusion. read more

I absolutely love JTs, they have the best wings ever!! The sitting is slightly small but the service is great. They are attentive and quick service for a good price. This is a little gem of a spot. Use to be a much smaller space, but more recently they bought the place next door. However, it's to separate locations meaning: the employees & customers have to go in & out of each place, there is no ajoining access other than the front doors to each store front. Also, believe the main kitchen is solely on one side of the building. We arrived on Saturday at about 5PM. It was fairly busy (as again it's a small space) but we were able to get a seat at the outside bar. They did have misters, so it wasn't too bad or to hot that day. Severer arrived promptly and took our drink order, plus we wanted to get their wings. Got 1/2 hot & 1/2 the works. This was definitely a bar I had previously booked marked cause they do their wings just the way we like them: which is fried, sauced, grilled and re-tossed. They were killer! Nice size, cooked & coated perfectly. We ended up splitting the bacon burger. It was juicy, nice pink center and served with some good crispy french fries. The service and staff were so on it! With how pumping this place was; we never ran empty with our beverages and the food ALL came out in a timely manner. During our visit there was a shift change, so we were lucky enough to start with Katie and ended with Lyndsey. They were both great. Super attentive and engaging. Just a pleasant experience over all. This is absolutely a spot we will remember & plan to come back. If you are a lover a delicious wings highly recommended getting them here! Note- Check their website for their hours. Best everything wings on the planet. Bartenders always remember what I'm drinking even if I don't stop in for awhile. Been going here since the late 90s and it's certainly not the same as it was when JT was alive (for better or for worse) but the drinks are stiff and many a wild time has been had! Absolutely awful service and a complete waste of hard-earned money. I walked in to pick up an order and politely asked three different employees where the pickup area was. Not a single one could be bothered to actually speak to me, they just pointed silently and ignored me. No explanation, no greeting, nothing. To make matters worse, after dealing with the incredibly rude staff, the food was completely cold by the time I got it. Great little bar. Dare I'd even say, it's divey...for Arcadia. So, it's fine and not divey lol. Mind you that's not a neg for dive bars, I love them too. Found this gem on a long bike ride along the canal. Enjoyed some wings and burger. Both were very tasty. Had a couple drinks and went on our way. The atmosphere is welcoming, Megan, Desiree are my favorite and Chuck so friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently outstanding. Who doesn't love a good dive bar! We came into JT's to watch the Michigan game and get wings. I've been hearing for a while about how good the wings were here so we finally decided to give it a go. We order the spicy Bbq and they were really good. Unpopular opinion but I'm more of a boneless wing person, but for bone-in wings, I really liked these. The drums had a lot of meet on them! They had a bit too much sauce for me but my boyfriend loved it. I normally dunk my wings in ranch but these were good enough on their own! The onion rings and fried zucchini were both really good too. Really crispy and came out piping hot!! Beware on the fried zucchini- they are so hot that you can easily burn the crap out of your mouth or face when they first come out! The actually bar is pretty small so it can get packed pretty quick. Even though the place was packed when we were there, the wait for food and drinks was not long at all! I really liked this place! read more

I've been coming to JT's for the better part of a year, at least weekly. It is, almost without fail, packed to the brim, with seating at a premium, especially for the bar. I have never seen anything other than fantastic service, regardless of whether I was alone at a corner table, at the bar, or introducing the place to friends. The wings, as mentioned in almost every other review, are fantastic - they deserve all their flowers for it. The fry-sauce-grill method they use (with an optional sauce dunk [double dipped] at the end for those who want it) makes it the best wing in AZ, if not that I've ever had. Drinks are quick, pours are good, and their limited draft selection is still a nice cross-section for anyone who casually likes to drink beer. The team as a whole are awesome. I am not a "regular" in the sense of getting special treatment, but they certainly have relationships with the people who are in more often than I. I don't begrudge it, it doesn't take away from my service, and I've never left here unhappy, unless there just wasn't a seat to be had at either inside section or outside. But that's not their fault. I will always pick JT's for sports, for a casual night out with friends, or for fantastic bar eats. read more

Small true hole in the wall Not a big place at all (they do have about 10 seats outside). Luckyily found a table here. There menu is t super huge but I was here for one thing only: The wings. They are sold in 6 or 10 pc and I tried there medium sauce (best one, excellent, spicy, I can't imagine what the hot would be) and the works (I believe it's Buffalo bbq and teriyaki mixed together, it taste more like bbq than anything but is also pretty good). Probably the best meal I had in Arizona and if your in the Phoenix area and want wings, this is the place. read more

Looking for a hamburger (or anything) after visiting a dear friend in the hospital. Would have liked to try this place. We walked in to the waitress making plans with someone. We realize it was later (8:56) and asked if they were serving food and she said kitchen closed at 9. She didn't offer a drink or table. I learned about TJ's a couple of years ago. It, at first was a little hard to find, but once I found it, I have become a loyal customer of TJ's. They have absolutely the best wings I have ever had! I am partial to the teriyaki wings. Every time I get them, the consistency is the same, irregardless of who prepared them. Simply great!! Friends, if you haven't checked out JT's, you should!!! The food was great and beverages even better!! Had a minor food hiccup, but it was corrected. I received the wrong order and it took a bit long to correct, hence the 4 stars. By the time my correct food came out, my party was almost done eating. The food was good, but the long delay to correct could have been better, especially since it was the kitchen who made the mistake. I've been here before, and the service has been great. read more

Came here for some food and drinks on a Sunday before heading out of town. They were super busy when we arrived at 11:30am but, a spot at the bar opened up for us to take with a 15minute wait. For a smaller place, they have a full bar and lots to choose from for food-- we went with the nachos (ground beef which reminded me of childhood) & the wings (fried and then grilled, super tasty). The homey feeling of this place is certainly why they are so busy/seemed like they have tons of regulars. I would absolutely recommend this spot and will be back with my next visit to Phoenix/Arcadia. read more

JTs is my go-to for wings. As somebody that loves to eat, JTs has the BEST wings from any restaurant I've ever tried. The women working at this joint serve my girlfriends and I on the weekends. Although the place is usually packed, they're always very friendly and attentive! My friends and I decided to grab wings and a few drinks on a weekday after work for a birthday. The bartender was a larger, white male. He was soooo rude and unpleasant. My friends and I ordered one drink and decided to go someplace else after the bartender threw our IDs and coasters on the counter. He seemed inconvenienced and irritated. I was slightly embarrassed considering I recommended this place to my friends (none of which have ever been to JTs). Still love this place but will only be eating/drinking if the usual girlies are bartending. Shoutout to the amazing women and cooks that make this place what it is.
