Meh, first time here and it didn't live up to the hype. Came for a birthday on a Sunday afternoon and it was so loud you couldn't talk across the table without yelling. Had to repeat things several times to the server. We got the burger and a salad to split and my daughter got the breakfast sandwich. The burger was no better, meat was dry and over salted, in fact, we felt parched after eating it and couldn't get enough water the rest of the day... way too salty. Holy smokes - this is a meal I'll be wanting again and again. Recently visited on a breakfast date and decided to truly indulge. The service was stellar from the get-go, and we were quickly seated and tended to. The coffee was flavorful and yet not overly sweet, which paired great once our savory meal arrived. The duck fat hashbrowns are out of this world and I wish these could be my breakfast more often. The crispy exterior pairs so well with the delicate and gooey interior. I wasn't sure how full it was going to be so I made a reservation online for 11:45 am. FYI we did our own self parking outside the garage but we found parking can get validated here. Very natural tasting and perfect. 5/5. You can take these to go which I will in the future. Fair price too compared to other places. My partner has the L'orange martini: Park VS. Apricot Liqueur, Cointreau, Lemon, Orange Oil. He found it strong (but that's the nature of martinis), flavorful and refreshing. He enjoyed it 5/5. Next up we shared the French onion soup and Caesar salad and they were made into our own individual portions. French onion soup wax to die for! In this case we were celebrating a big birthday for my mom and Jenna made sure she felt special and welcomed. The basics here are also handled well- food coming out quickly, plates being cleared away etc. My sister and I shared a Prime Rib French Dip and I enjoyed every aspect of it. The bread can make or break the sandwich but it was the perfect consistency and I loved the garlic butter on it. Gruyère was a good choice for the cheese. We appreciated that Jenna brought a complimentary crème brûlée for my mom's birthday but she took it a step further. She arranged for us to have the larger size so that the four of us could split the dessert - truly going above and beyond. The hostess looked at my outfit with the kind of soul-crushing judgment usually reserved for people who clap when the plane lands. The service is "European," which in Phoenix translates to: "I will acknowledge your existence once every twenty minutes, provided you look like you own a yacht." Our server was "mesmerizingly handsome" (their words, not mine--okay, maybe mine too), but the pacing was... leisurely. Good French inspired restaurant! Went here over the Valentine weekend with reservations. The interior is beautifully ensembled and was probably my favorite part of this location honestly. It really looks amazing indoors at night. Since we had reservations (and considering it was basically still valentine's day) we were seated quite promptly even though we arrived a little later than expected. The place was PACKED when we arrived and seating was fairly close to one another. Service was great at checking on us, taking our orders, and refilling our drinks without letting them sit too long. We were celebrating an anniversary so they served us two glasses of wine(?) as well as a cookie dessert on the house. Definitely nice gestures, especially since both tasted good. We ordered quite a bit of food, some of which I wasn't too thrilled with. The Truffled Brie Baguette was decent but underwhelming in my opinion and didn't really justify the price for 4 pieces of stuffed bread. The Steak Tartare was okay but on the salty side. As for the other food and drinks, such as the Truffle Twice Baked Potato and Old Fashioned were both really good. The main entrees like the Ricotta Ravioli and Sole were amazing, but a little much considering proportions and price. I'm not local to the AZ but I had a great time here and so did my girlfriend. Oh my goodness, this was a fabulous experience! If you're looking for a romantic date night spot that's definitely more upscale than your run-of-the-mill chain steakhouse joint, but not snooty or ridiculously priced, this is it! We had to get two variations of potatoes of course, because I'm obsessed with potatoes for sides and that twice-baked potato was HEAVENLY! A heads up, their espresso martinis are sooo delicious... but a little dangerous... I was definitely feeling mine after half the glass! I would love to come back and try more of the appetizers, or the oysters, because I hear they're great. But, this was a fantastic spot for a Valentine's dinner date, and I highly recommend for anyone looking to splurge a little bit for a celebration. The atmosphere was extremely lively, and the staff was phenomenal. All team members were attentive, frequently checking on the table, and excellent with recommendations. I ordered their Old Fashioned, which was wonderfully made. For dinner, I tried the Ora King Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted great, though it was almost a bit too oily/fatty for my personal preference. Next time I'd probably go for a steak, as those looked incredible. Let me just say the restaurant is beautiful and showcased beautiful people but that's about all we experienced. Somehow we ended up getting seated in the bar area at 9:15pm. Greeted by the Manager a few minutes after we were seated but it wasn't to address the long wait and being seated in the wrong area. - Server acknowledged our table 20mins after seated to get our orders. - French Onion Soup (French Onion Soup is one of my favorite soups, excited...kind of) but was served at close to 10pm. Unfortunately, the soup had a very salty taste and the croutons were too mushy. The remainder of the meal was served at 10:20pm, listed below: - Steak Frites, ordered medium but was undercooked and was closer to the medium rare/rare. - Asparagus, decent. - Persian mushroom, tasted like red wine and salt, did not look or taste reduced enough and were very firm not very soft. - Short Rib, was tasty but it was the only part of the meal we could eat.
