Where do I begin? This place is OUTSTANDING The service is top notch and every single employee is on top of it. I've been several times as I'm starting to become a regular. The ambiance of the place overall is so nice. It's located inside Global Ambassador Hotel. It offers indoor and outdoor seating. No misters outside so plan on that. They also validate parking, as well as having valet out front. Before I talk about how yummy the food is, I want to give a huge shout out to Shamitt, I believe it was the manager of the evening. He checked on tables to make sure everyone was satisfied. Even when our table had a minor hiccup, he made sure to turn the whole evening around and top it off (which wasn't needed but that's how they are, always going above and beyond). Every waitress or waiter I've had is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Just this alone makes me want to come back every time. Now about the food. Words don't do it justice. You have to come by and try it for yourself! I always order the escargot they did recently change it from a savory version back in May, to now it's a lemony, breadcrumb, light version. Both versions are delicious (maybe offer both?). This particular evening I was there for the steak frites dinning menu....WORTH IT! It's silly not to order this. The steak is a decent size and you get lots of fries. My table and I split the steak frites menu and order a few things from the appetizers and we were stuffed. Le Âme was such a great experience! We started with the raclette cheese bread, and it was so good it had me doing the happy dance. The oysters were incredible too, the melon sauce gave them such a fresh, summery flavor that really elevated the dish. I ordered the steak frites with the salad. The salad was crisp and fresh, and the mint made it feel even lighter and more refreshing. My steak was cooked perfectly to order. My friends thought it was a little salty, but I love salt, so it was perfect for me. The truffle fries were delicious, and both the mashed potatoes and asparagus were cooked perfectly. Had a wonderful dining experience at this establishment for my birthday. I was able to make a reservation online and our table was available upon arrival. They were really sweet and put us at a booth with candlelight and ambience was just pretty romantic. This restaurant really made me feel special on my birthday. I really enjoyed that they gave me a handwritten card and everyone was just very happy to be there. Our server was a delight and I would definitely come back here. For the food, we both end up ordering steak and frites as it was an offering on that evening and included unlimited fries. My husband could not get enough of this. He also got the truffle fries which were flavored just right. My steak was done perfectly and the flavor was just right. We also were able to have some drinks and our server was able to score us some beer from a nearby establishment that was on tap that was delicious. The icing on top of the evening is that they gave me a complementary crème brûlée for my birthday and it was very good. I'm not even a big crème brûlée person, but the char on top of the crème brûlée was so crispy and so caramelized that you could not resist eating that entire thing. All in all, I would definitely come back here. I would love to try some of the other items on the menu. Plus the espresso smelled amazing. I will say that this is a place you should get a reservation for because it was very busy. But the experience itself was perfect and just looking at all the cute outfits that the staff was wearing was a vibe. UPDATE on my review: I went here for brunch and I'm disappointed at how beautiful the hotel is and the coffee is just meh. I even ordered a second latte in hopes the first one was just a mess up but they both were tasteless, watery and not elevated given it's a very expensive hotel. The service was stellar from the get-go, and we were quickly seated and tended to. The coffee was flavorful and yet not overly sweet, which paired great once our savory meal arrived. The duck fat hashbrowns are out of this world and I wish these could be my breakfast more often. The crispy exterior pairs so well with the delicate and gooey interior. I started off with the pressed juice, Parisian Cure: Carrot, Apple, Cucumber, Ginger, Lemon. It was so good! That is usually my to go to blend of fruits and veggies for a pressed juice. Very natural tasting and perfect. 5/5. You can take these to go which I will in the future. Fair price too compared to other places. My partner has the L'orange martini: Park VS. The basics here are also handled well- food coming out quickly, plates being cleared away etc. My sister and I shared a Prime Rib French Dip and I enjoyed every aspect of it. The bread can make or break the sandwich but it was the perfect consistency and I loved the garlic butter on it. Gruyère was a good choice for the cheese. We appreciated that Jenna brought a complimentary crème brûlée for my mom's birthday but she took it a step further. She arranged for us to have the larger size so that the four of us could split the dessert - truly going above and beyond. The hostess looked at my outfit with the kind of soul-crushing judgment usually reserved for people who clap when the plane lands. The service is "European," which in Phoenix translates to: "I will acknowledge your existence once every twenty minutes, provided you look like you own a yacht." Our server was "mesmerizingly handsome" (their words, not mine--okay, maybe mine too), but the pacing was... leisurely. Good French inspired restaurant! Went here over the Valentine weekend with reservations. The interior is beautifully ensembled and was probably my favorite part of this location honestly. It really looks amazing indoors at night. Since we had reservations (and considering it was basically still valentine's day) we were seated quite promptly even though we arrived a little later than expected. The place was PACKED when we arrived and seating was fairly close to one another. Service was great at checking on us, taking our orders, and refilling our drinks without letting them sit too long. We were celebrating an anniversary so they served us two glasses of wine(?) as well as a cookie dessert on the house. Definitely nice gestures, especially since both tasted good. We ordered quite a bit of food, some of which I wasn't too thrilled with. The Truffled Brie Baguette was decent but underwhelming in my opinion and didn't really justify the price for 4 pieces of stuffed bread. The Steak Tartare was okay but on the salty side. As for the other food and drinks, such as the Truffle Twice Baked Potato and Old Fashioned were both really good. The main entrees like the Ricotta Ravioli and Sole were amazing, but a little much considering proportions and price. I'm not local to the AZ but I had a great time here and so did my girlfriend. If you're looking for a romantic date night spot that's definitely more upscale than your run-of-the-mill chain steakhouse joint, but not snooty or ridiculously priced, this is it! We had to get two variations of potatoes of course, because I'm obsessed with potatoes for sides and that twice-baked potato was HEAVENLY! The atmosphere was extremely lively, and the staff was phenomenal. All team members were attentive, frequently checking on the table, and excellent with recommendations. I ordered their Old Fashioned, which was wonderfully made. For dinner, I tried the Ora King Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted great, though it was almost a bit too oily/fatty for my personal preference. Next time I'd probably go for a steak, as those looked incredible. I usually always start with the Onion Dip with Potato Chips with Caviar you get 30g Osetra Caviar for $85 so really not that badly priced and the onion dip and chips are amazing. I have had their Rueben for lunch and that was incredible. easily one of the top 3 I have had for lunch. For dinner appetizers I recommend the Tuna Ponzu which was nice a light for a way to start the meal. The Shortrib Bourguigon was the perfect dish if you are craving classic French. I understand that weekends are busy, but we waited so long for just water before even getting our drinks, and 45-60 min to get our food. Our server was very inattentive and they switched our server mid service after we complained we hadn't seen her in over 30 mins. What should've been a one hour brunch was a two hour brunch. The food portions were also overpriced for the taste. I had the breakfast bowl and while it was good, it definitely was not worth the price. I would've been fine paying more if the ambience and experience was up to par, but it was not. I have not been back to dine since. This place is PHENOMENAL. Easily one of the top 5 dinners of my life. The steak tartare on a slice of baguette was heavenly. The sommelier recommended a lovely red from Adelaide, AUS that you can't get in the US which was a fun experience. We also enjoyed the steak frites cooked perfectly medium rare and my partner's new york strip was also perfect. Somehow we ended up getting seated in the bar area at 9:15pm. Greeted by the Manager a few minutes after we were seated but it wasn't to address the long wait and being seated in the wrong area. - Server acknowledged our table 20mins after seated to get our orders. - French Onion Soup (French Onion Soup is one of my favorite soups, excited...kind of) but was served at close to 10pm. Unfortunately, the soup had a very salty taste and the croutons were too mushy. The remainder of the meal was served at 10:20pm, listed below: - Steak Frites, ordered medium but was undercooked and was closer to the medium rare/rare. - Asparagus, decent. - Persian mushroom, tasted like red wine and salt, did not look or taste reduced enough and were very firm not very soft. - Short Rib, was tasty but it was the only part of the meal we could eat.
