The Global Ambassador is doing it right. I've been to Théa three times, the lobby bar, and it was only right to go to Le Ame. What made the dinner that much better was their $35 steak frites special. I have nothing but positive things to say. The restaurant itself is beautiful! I always love open kitchen concepts because seeing the chefs in action is always amazing. It felt very moody and romantic with the candlelight dinner, dim lighting and dark colors. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth perfection and I upgraded to the truffle fries, which I do not regret one bit. The one thing I do regret is not eating more of them, considering the fries were endless. The meal also started with a crisp and light salad that had a dressing I could probably drink. My boyfriend and I wanted to order some appetizers, but I'm glad we didn't because by the end of the meal, we were full. I did order the petite creme brûlée though, which was not petite at all. It was huge and only priced at $9... that felt illegal. Our waitress had a very calming presence and she was lovely! I can't remember her name but it started with a "T" and she had pretty, curly hair. I think the manager was walking around, asking how everyone was doing too, which is always great. The space is absolutely gorgeous and has that elevated, sophisticated feel you'd expect from the Global Ambassador. Service was truly 5-star from start to finish. I've had the Caesar salad at the lobby bar plenty of times, so I was excited to try the Chicken Caesar Wrap--and it was just as delicious! I know I've reviewed this place before, but it's always SO amazing! it gets better every time ! Great atmosphere, great service, and great food every single time! The burger was probably the softest burger I've ever had, it literally melted in my mouth! The fries were good, just way too salty for me. But the sweet corn is my absolute FAVORITE! I would honestly come here just for that haha! The truffle bread was also good with a slightly sweet taste. The fish was super good too! Celebrated my best friend's birthday here under a reservation for 8 people, and I have to say that the service and quality of the food were excellent. We were expecting to be seated in the main dining area, but they led us into the private dining room. It was definitely unexpected, but we were excited nonetheless. It provided a very intimate setting where we could hear each other without shouting, which really provided the perfect atmosphere for the birthday celebration. I loved the attention and humor provided by our server that night. They really made the atmosphere so welcoming. My favorite dish of the night had to be the steak tartare. It was melt in your mouth, and the toasted baguette added great texture without overpowering the tartare. I ended up ordering the steak frites and subbed in the truffle fries. Although it was good, I do have to note that the cut of steak was pretty fatty and the truffle fries were a little salty for my liking. It was still very good, just something to note when you order. Where do I begin? This place is OUTSTANDING The service is top notch and every single employee is on top of it. I've been several times as I'm starting to become a regular. The ambiance of the place overall is so nice. It's located inside Global Ambassador Hotel. It offers indoor and outdoor seating. No misters outside so plan on that. They also validate parking, as well as having valet out front. Before I talk about how yummy the food is, I want to give a huge shout out to Shamitt, I believe it was the manager of the evening. He checked on tables to make sure everyone was satisfied. Even when our table had a minor hiccup, he made sure to turn the whole evening around and top it off (which wasn't needed but that's how they are, always going above and beyond). Every waitress or waiter I've had is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Just this alone makes me want to come back every time. Now about the food. Words don't do it justice. You have to come by and try it for yourself! I always order the escargot they did recently change it from a savory version back in May, to now it's a lemony, breadcrumb, light version. Both versions are delicious (maybe offer both?). This particular evening I was there for the steak frites dinning menu....WORTH IT! It's silly not to order this. The steak is a decent size and you get lots of fries. My table and I split the steak frites menu and order a few things from the appetizers and we were stuffed. Had a wonderful dining experience at this establishment for my birthday. I was able to make a reservation online and our table was available upon arrival. They were really sweet and put us at a booth with candlelight and ambience was just pretty romantic. This restaurant really made me feel special on my birthday. For the food, we both end up ordering steak and frites as it was an offering on that evening and included unlimited fries. My husband could not get enough of this. We also were able to have some drinks and our server was able to score us some beer from a nearby establishment that was on tap that was delicious. The icing on top of the evening is that they gave me a complementary crème brûlée for my birthday and it was very good. I'm not even a big crème brûlée person, but the char on top of the crème brûlée was so crispy and so caramelized that you could not resist eating that entire thing. All in all, I would definitely come back here. I would love to try some of the other items on the menu. Plus the espresso smelled amazing. The basics here are also handled well- food coming out quickly, plates being cleared away etc. My sister and I shared a Prime Rib French Dip and I enjoyed every aspect of it. The bread can make or break the sandwich but it was the perfect consistency and I loved the garlic butter on it. Gruyère was a good choice for the cheese. We appreciated that Jenna brought a complimentary crème brûlée for my mom's birthday but she took it a step further. She arranged for us to have the larger size so that the four of us could split the dessert - truly going above and beyond. Good French inspired restaurant! Went here over the Valentine weekend with reservations. The interior is beautifully ensembled and was probably my favorite part of this location honestly. It really looks amazing indoors at night. Since we had reservations (and considering it was basically still valentine's day) we were seated quite promptly even though we arrived a little later than expected. The place was PACKED when we arrived and seating was fairly close to one another. Service was great at checking on us, taking our orders, and refilling our drinks without letting them sit too long. We were celebrating an anniversary so they served us two glasses of wine(?) as well as a cookie dessert on the house. Definitely nice gestures, especially since both tasted good. We ordered quite a bit of food, some of which I wasn't too thrilled with. The Truffled Brie Baguette was decent but underwhelming in my opinion and didn't really justify the price for 4 pieces of stuffed bread. The Steak Tartare was okay but on the salty side. As for the other food and drinks, such as the Truffle Twice Baked Potato and Old Fashioned were both really good. The main entrees like the Ricotta Ravioli and Sole were amazing, but a little much considering proportions and price. I'm not local to the AZ but I had a great time here and so did my girlfriend. The atmosphere was extremely lively, and the staff was phenomenal. All team members were attentive, frequently checking on the table, and excellent with recommendations. We had several friends tell us about this place, so we decided to give it a try. Let me start by saying if your going, ask for Alex as he's an exceptional waiter. We started with a Parisian spritz and an Espresso Martini, spritz was a little tart but the martini was fantastic. For appetizers we got the Paris Baguette, Frites Classic, and the tuna ponzu, and the oysters which we loved them all. They also brought us over the duck spring rolls, which were so good. For entrees we ordered the 8oz filet and the 10 oz filet with a broiled lobster tail and sams famous garlic noodles. The steaks were prepared at the perfect temperature, and were great. I usually always start with the Onion Dip with Potato Chips with Caviar you get 30g Osetra Caviar for $85 so really not that badly priced and the onion dip and chips are amazing. The hotel and restaurant are absolutely stunning, giving off elevated European vibes right in the middle of the desert. You can sit indoors or outdoors depending on the weather and your mood. For all the hype, I was definitely expecting a bit more. We came with a reservation on a Saturday morning. I understand that weekends are busy, but we waited so long for just water before even getting our drinks, and 45-60 min to get our food. Our server was very inattentive and they switched our server mid service after we complained we hadn't seen her in over 30 mins. What should've been a one hour brunch was a two hour brunch. The food portions were also overpriced for the taste. I had the breakfast bowl and while it was good, it definitely was not worth the price. I would've been fine paying more if the ambience and experience was up to par, but it was not. I have not been back to dine since. However, I will give it another try because everyone has their off days. I am hoping for a better experience next time! I will update my review once I go. read more
