    Mushroom Rigatoni

FRANCINE @ SCOTTSDALE The calamari at this location was AMAZING, also the mushroom rigatoni was good but I recommend asking for red chili flakes. The service was good and fast--really on top of refilling the waters throughout the meal. The place was extremely aesthetic and a little more higher end, i would say this is a great place to Sunday brunch if you want something nicer.

Francine is a great spot for a girls night! It's a bit pricey for the quality in my opinion, but a reliable place for a nice dinner. They offer great gluten free options including GF bread and pasta. The service was good until after dinner when it was hard to grab out waiter's attention. Other than that, check it out next time you're near Fashion Square.

Oooooh la la! Tres bien! Un barman est exceptionnel! Cinq étoiles KUNI (if I still worked at Walt Disney World, I would steal him away from this place. He's just that good.) We ordered the caviar which is at a great price and remember caviar is not food, It's an experience so start with that add your dusky exceptional craft cocktail like I had a dirty martini with Chopin Of course Chopin! I was soooo busy drinking and visiting I didn't get a pic of our glorious salad.

I came to Francine for a girls birthday dinner and it happened to be restaurant week. Unfortunately, I was disappointed that our waiter didn't offer us the restaurant week menu, I had to ask for it. The waiter did not seem very thrilled that we asked for the restaurant week menu. Don't offer restaurant week if your wait staff is not openly telling your guests about the menu. We got a weird vibe that he didn't want to offer us the restaurant week menu because our party of 10 bill would be significantly less due to restaurant week. All of us did order off of the restaurant week menu because it was such a great deal, $55 for appetizer, entree and dessert. For appetizer you could pick between hummus and pita, beef tartare bites and endive salad. For the entree, you could pick between mushroom truffle rigatoni, salmon riverea and chicken supreme. And for dessert the options were berries tiramasu and sorbet duo. I ended up getting the beef tartare bites which I shared with my friend and she got the hummus which I tried too. Both were great. For my entree, I ordered the truffle mushroom rigatoni, it was absolutely fantastic. I could have licked my bowl. I would 100% order that again. For my dessert, I ordered their berries tiramisu. I enjoyed that dessert. It was a different twist on tiramisu. My friend ordered their sorbet duo which had coconut and strawberry. We LOVED the coconut! I tried their fire and ice cocktail, if you like mezcal this is a must try. I also loved their loud and clear cocktail, it had tequila, vanilla , honey dew and chamomile clarified. So good! The food was great, I was a little disappointed by the service but I will still come back and hope to have a better experience.

Girls' dinner at Francine in Scottsdale. We were a group of 10, and one of the girls had worked closely with the manager ahead of time to make sure there were vegan‑friendly options for us. Unfortunately, the waiter wasn't informed, so he had to check with the manager before we could place our orders, which delayed things a bit. Once the food started coming, it was really worth the wait! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Traveling always reminds me how fun it is to explore a city through great meals and good company. Here's what I had: * Endive salad * Cauliflower steak * Ratatouille * Sorbet Overall, cozy spot with great energy. Definitely would come back for another girls' night with plant based options!

We came here for Valentine's Day and enjoyed our experience. Our waiter, August was really helpful and checked on us consistently throughout the night. We ordered the Whipped Feta as an appetizer cause the calamari was sold out but it was great! The pita bread was delicious as well. The chicken was really good, I got it with a side of mashed potatoes and think it paired really well. The chicken is slightly sweet, I think it is glazed in honey. He ordered the steak, which was good! Nothing too special. The ambiance is cute on the inside and outside. We got a spot outside which we were happy with because it was packed on the inside. I was not blown away with any of the food but it was definitely good!

My husband and I went to Francine for our anniversary. It's a beautiful space, very light and airy, oozes south of France. Elegant ambiance. We had the the mussels to start with a side of fries, because yes we needed to dip them in that delicious sauce! I had the Chilean Seabass and my husband had the Rack of Lamb. We had the Crème Brûlée for dessert. Everything was delicious. We would love to come back and try their Salt Crusted Branzino serve whole and flambéed table side. It looks very impressive and I'm a sucker for anything served table side. They also offer a prix fix menu for $65, which for this restaurant is a great deal!

Five stars all around. We came to Francine's to celebrate my graduation from ASU and we all had a wonderful experience. The place is huge and carefully decorated. It was perfect for our large group of 10 people. The food was excellent. Everything we had was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. The service was the best part...Teresa was fabulous and made my celebration extra special. We would highly recommend Francine for special occasions or if you just want a great dining experience.

Francine has my favorite espresso martini and happens to be across the street so we happen to frequent here a lot. The espresso martini is made with freshly pulled espresso versus like a cold brew concentrate or what other places use. The ambiance is great. It's very white, clean, crisp, modern. I think this is a great date night spot. I've had the mushroom pasta, bucatini, most of the crudo/hamachi section, etc etc. I preferred the mushroom pasta over the bucatini, I'm not sure if it was the bone marrow but the bucatini was extremely salty in my experience. I love the filet carpaccio. We tried the French toast and mushroom pasta yesterday. The French toast almost had like a delicious custard substance in the middle. It was really good. And the mushroom pasta I'd get again as well. I thought the pasta was cooked perfectly and have a deep love for anything truffle. I've only had dessert once and it was good but a pass for me. I'd just prefer the espresso martini for dessert here. I've never actually sat in the dining room, I prefer the bar top. The service is always very good. And I guess, it's obvious I'd return here because we eat or have a drink here probably biweekly.

beautiful restaurant interior and classic french fare with modern american twists. the ambiance was very nice and the service was attentive, despite a menu mishap that was compensated for. we had intended to order the crab salad, but was served salmon salad instead, despite the waiter not mentioning that the kitchen was out of crab. they only commented on this and apologized after we pointed it out, but at least offered to replace with another dish and a complimentary sparkling water for the inconvenience. the starting bread was a quality sourdough artisan bread, toasted well and paired with a fruity olive oil. i would have preferred the butter a bit more salted, and ideally house made, but the bread made up for it. the truffle mushroom rigatoni was a lovely dish, with a sharp acidity complementing the nuttiness of the fungus. a tad bit too oily, but ok. french dip was great as well, standout was the fries which were perfectly crispy and thin. moules frites were great - very flavorful broth and good portion. ratatouille was also pretty good, with a rich tomato paste flavor! both salads were a bit disappointing - bitter greens and plain veggie pairings with uninventive dressings. overall very reasonable french lunch location worth visiting if near the fashion square.

The service was lacking considering the location; however, it was lunch time on a weekday. Regardless, the food was delicious and fresh.

I have been here before for dinner and really liked it and decided to try for a brunch. Love the decor and the attention to details. Service is good and you have lots of small booths to sit at. The eggs Benedict were good. The eggs were poached well and the hollandaise sauce was on point. Would definitely recommend!

    Chef Remy being pompous
    Sabrina H.

Let's be honest, Francine didn't close because of the staff. The restaurant ownership aka Laurent and Chef Remy who was reportedly making an enormous salary yet the restaurant failed to consistently deliver an experience that kept guests returning. In hospitality, throwing a fit over simple guest modifications instead of accommodating them is the opposite of what builds loyalty. At the end of the day, if the product and experience truly connect with people, the restaurant stays busy and guests come back.

He checked on tables to make sure everyone was satisfied. Even when our table had a minor hiccup, he made sure to turn the whole evening around and top it off (which wasn't needed but that's how they are, always going above and beyond). Every waitress or waiter I've had is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Just this alone makes me want to come back every time. Now about the food. Words don't do it justice. You have to come by and try it for yourself! I always order the escargot they did recently change it from a savory version back in May, to now it's a lemony, breadcrumb, light version. Both versions are delicious (maybe offer both?). This particular evening I was there for the steak frites dinning menu....WORTH IT! It's silly not to order this. The steak is a decent size and you get lots of fries. My table and I split the steak frites menu and order a few things from the appetizers and we were stuffed. Not a lot of places have a good dessert menu...but this place does! Everything on the dessert menu I've had, and I would get them all again. Overall, you can't go wrong here! (I did not. I ordered a full breakfast and a waffle like an adult with priorities.) I went around 9:15am on a Wednesday--only a few tables were occupied, and the staff was super friendly, gave great recommendations, and the food came out fast. Inside is dialed in with chandeliers, French-y posters and photos everywhere, and a pastry case with tarts, pastries, and cheesecake that basically dares you to behave. The croissant was the star... fresh, flaky, light, buttery... exactly what you want. The egg was cooked perfectly and the cheese was melted into it almost like a mini omelette (loved that). My only hiccup was the "bacon." It leaned more limp pork belly than crispy bacon and had a distinct smoke flavor that wasn't the traditional hardwood/hickory vibe I'm used to. Also... because the cheese and egg are fused together, it's basically impossible to pick the bacon out once it's in there. Next time I'd order it without bacon or ask for it on the side and make it crispy. It came with a side salad, which is not what I expected with breakfast, but it was actually great, fresh spring mix and a delicious dressing with a subtle sweet undertone. There were also hash browns with a crispy exterior and soft, warm interior, exactly the texture you hope for I just wish there were more of them! Because I have no self-control around French cafes, I also ordered the Belgian waffle with fruit and whipped cream. The waffle was warm and tasty, more tender/soft than crispy, and I ended up preferring it to the 'scrape the roof of your mouth' style that most restaurants serve up. The whipped cream tasted freshly whipped and the fruit selection was generous. My only critique: I'd skip the granulated sugar on top. The waffle is sweet enough already, and biting into sugar crystals isn't my favorite texture. For a drink I tried the blueberry lavender matcha. It had crushed blueberries in it, but the matcha flavor was pretty mild and the lavender got lost. I also would've liked a touch more sweetness from the syrup but overall it drank a bit "soft" and subtle. Bottom line... really cool little spot with friendly service, quick food, and a pastry case that will absolutely ruin any plan you had to "just eat light." I'll be back but next time I'm customizing that croissant sandwich and letting the pastries talk me into bad decisions.

My friend got the ribs and only had one because he was getting ahards of ribs. He gave me one. I didn't have that experience, but didnt care for the glaze. I detected tomato or ketchup forward and I don't care for ketchup. The meat was tender and moist, though. I had a bite of my friend's bread pudding. It had cinnamon and apples and vanilla ice cream. It was good. FYI no liquor - beer and wine only. Good beer selection. The waiters were good but the hostess was fairly rude, making a big deal about the size of our group and referencing how we were going to disturb other guests by staff having to re-arrange tables or make guests feel rushed to leave by us waiting. That alone was a turn-off to make us not want to return. We were on the patio and the weather was nice. Not much indoor seating, so I wonder how they stay busy in the summer. I wouldn't want to return in the summer and have to eat outside in the hot months.

Came here for a girls birthday brunch and I would have to say the decor and vibe is 4/5 stars but…read morethe food and service is 1 star. We had food that looked nothing like the food online and realized quickly their images were AI. The service was also so bad even our servers were telling us where to go eat after our meal. Would not recommend this place and wouldn't come back

I've had several chances to visit this place but never quite made it. Finally, after all the hype…read moresettled a bit, I decided to try it on a Saturday afternoon. It was a warm day, and parking was definitely a challenge. There isn't much dedicated parking, so you'll likely have to circle around or park along the road. At the entrance, the flowers looked toasted and faded, having lost much of their freshness and charm. That said, there are plenty of beautiful photo-op spots inside. Full credit for the unique concept the ambiance is thoughtfully done, service is excellent, and I truly appreciate that it's women-owned. That's something to celebrate! Everything feels perfect until the food arrives. The menu is surprisingly small, yet the prices are quite high. The French fries looked poorly prepared, and the salad was underwhelming more like a handful of greens tossed together than a thoughtfully crafted dish. The drinks and other items unfortunately didn't make up for it either. This place has so much potential. Clearly, people come for the ambiance, service, and celebration vibes birthdays, Galentine's Day, baby showers, you name it. It's a great backdrop for pictures and special moments. But good ambiance alone isn't enough for repeat customers. Food doesn't need to be pink it needs to be flavorful and satisfying. I genuinely hope management revisits the menu because with better food, this place could truly thrive. Overall: a great spot for pictures and celebrations, but the food needs serious improvement.
