This was my second time dining at Le Ame. I had such a great experience the last time I was in town that I had to go back! The hotel and restaurant are absolutely stunning, giving off elevated European vibes right in the middle of the desert. You can sit indoors or outdoors depending on the weather and your mood. Our waiter was wonderful. Attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. I went on a Saturday evening with friends; we weren't super hungry but wanted to share a few bites. I usually always start with the Onion Dip with Potato Chips with Caviar you get 30g Osetra Caviar for $85 so really not that badly priced and the onion dip and chips are amazing. I have had their Rueben for lunch and that was incredible. easily one of the top 3 I have had for lunch. For dinner appetizers I recommend the Tuna Ponzu which was nice a light for a way to start the meal. The Shortrib Bourguigon was the perfect dish if you are craving classic French. The sommelier recommended a lovely red from Adelaide, AUS that you can't get in the US which was a fun experience. Let me just say the restaurant is beautiful and showcased beautiful people but that's about all we experienced. This establishment was recommended to us while visiting but it missed the mark on the food and customer service. Points of interest: - Reservation was at 8:45pm for the Main Dining Seating. Somehow we ended up getting seated in the bar area at 9:15pm. Greeted by the Manager a few minutes after we were seated but it wasn't to address the long wait and being seated in the wrong area. - Server acknowledged our table 20mins after seated to get our orders. - French Onion Soup (French Onion Soup is one of my favorite soups, excited...kind of) but was served at close to 10pm. Unfortunately, the soup had a very salty taste and the croutons were too mushy. The remainder of the meal was served at 10:20pm, listed below: - Steak Frites, ordered medium but was undercooked and was closer to the medium rare/rare. - Asparagus, decent. - Persian mushroom, tasted like red wine and salt, did not look or taste reduced enough and were very firm not very soft. - Short Rib, was tasty but it was the only part of the meal we could eat. For all the hype, I was definitely expecting a bit more. We came with a reservation on a Saturday morning. I understand that weekends are busy, but we waited so long for just water before even getting our drinks, and 45-60 min to get our food. Our server was very inattentive and they switched our server mid service after we complained we hadn't seen her in over 30 mins. What should've been a one hour brunch was a two hour brunch. The food portions were also overpriced for the taste. I had the breakfast bowl and while it was good, it definitely was not worth the price. I would've been fine paying more if the ambience and experience was up to par, but it was not. I have not been back to dine since. However, I will give it another try because everyone has their off days. I am hoping for a better experience next time! I will update my review once I go. read more

We had several friends tell us about this place, so we decided to give it a try. Let me start by saying if your going, ask for Alex as he's an exceptional waiter. We started with a Parisian spritz and an Espresso Martini, spritz was a little tart but the martini was fantastic. For appetizers we got the Paris Baguette, Frites Classic, and the tuna ponzu, and the oysters which we loved them all. They also brought us over the duck spring rolls, which were so good. For entrees we ordered the 8oz filet and the 10 oz filet with a broiled lobster tail and sams famous garlic noodles. The steaks were prepared at the perfect temperature, and were great. For dessert we had the chocolate sticky toffee pudding, and the strawberry paris-brest...WOW they were incredible. we ended with a elevator affair and a carajillo which were fantastic. And as an added bonus Jacob the manager gave us a tour of the kitchen where we met several of the chefs who were all awesome people. I will say if you go here make sure you get Jacob as your waiter. He did such a great job with our service that we had no qualms in giving him a 25% tip. He really does go above and beyond. And he has been literally on top of everything from start to finish. So highly recommend Jacob as your waiter. You can't go wrong with any of the brunch cocktails here. I did order the Oscar Benedict and it had a little bit of everything in terms of size, including potatoes, salad. First what a BEAUTIFUL restaurant on the first floor of The Global Ambassor. Real candles on the tables and views of the gorgeous courtyard to the west of the main room. Appetizers set the culinary tone for the night. My Escargot dish was probably the best I've ever tasted. Such a delicious flavor including andouille sausage (VERY different from the typical butter and garlic presentation I've had dozens of times). My friend's Caesar Salad was perfectly cold and dressed. Don't miss the Paris Baguette served hot with special butter. I was wowed immediately by the appetizers. My Filet Au Poivre was perfectly medium rare and the peppercorn sauce delightful. We celebrated a birthday dinner and the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. First impressions were great. The lobby is beautiful, upscale, and valet was smooth with no issues. We had reservations and still waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Not a dealbreaker, but not ideal either. Drinks were where things got bumpy. We ordered simple cocktails (rosé, old fashioned, and a dirty martini). The martini came back more filthy than dirty, but we said nothing. On the second round, an Aperol-based drink came out tasting like a lemon drop. This time we said something, and after a pretty long wait, the correct (and totally different) drink arrived. Food, everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the filet with peppercorn gravy, flavorful and cooked well. Oysters and bread service were also good. Dessert was a highlight IMO... the chocolate tarte and birthday plate were both delicious and beautifully presented. After dinner, we moved to the bar area, which looked promising. It took a while for anyone to approach us, but when someone finally did, she was super sweet and helpful. Another bartender came over and told us they were closed after we'd already placed our orders... luckily, we'd already been taken care of. Final thoughts on the evening... The food was good, not amazing. For the price point, the service felt inconsistent and cocktails missed the mark more than once. The space itself is lovely, but execution matters. I went to Le Ame a couple of weeks ago, and I want to share something that happened during my visit because I believe it is important for the restaurant and its staff to be aware. I have always loved Le Ame, the atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience. It has been one of my favorite places to have dinner, which is why what happened during this visit was especially upsetting. That evening, I ordered one drink and did not even finish it. At first, I thought I was experiencing a sudden drop in blood pressure because of how I was feeling, but my symptoms continued to worsen to the point that I realized something was seriously wrong and that I had been drugged. We never left our table, and the only drink I consumed came directly from our server. I am not accusing the server of being responsible, as I have no way of knowing who was involved. However, given the circumstances, I strongly believe the substance was introduced somewhere within the restaurant, potentially at the bar, and I feel it is important that management be made aware. I never imagined that something like this could happen to me, especially at a restaurant I trusted and considered one of my favorite places. I am absolutely appalled and deeply disappointed. As a result, I no longer feel comfortable dining there, which is incredibly unfortunate. I am sharing this not to unfairly blame or accuse anyone, but to bring awareness to what happened and encourage the restaurant and its staff to take extra precautions when it comes to the safety of their guests and the handling of drinks. It is heartbreaking that, as women, we have to worry about our safety even in places where we should feel comfortable and protected. Thankfully, I was with friends who immediately recognized that something was wrong, took me home, and stayed by my side. I am extremely grateful that I was not alone. I sincerely hope Le Ame takes this seriously and uses this experience as an opportunity to review its procedures and make sure something like this does not happen to another guest. read more

As a woman from the South visiting the great Western state of Arizona, I was genuinely appalled by the mockery of my culture from both the hostess and the manager. My mother and I were wearing formal dress cowgirl hats, an important and respectful part of our attire. We were told to remove them due to the restaurant's dress code, which we politely declined. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the manager approached us and asked--in a clearly mocking tone--whether we were "in theme." Wearing a formal dress hat as a woman is neither a theme nor a novelty; it is part of our cultural identity. What made the situation even more disappointing was the inconsistency. My hat was apparently an issue, yet several guests were wearing outfits with completely exposed breasts or bottom halves, which seems far more in conflict with the restaurant's own posted dress code regarding exposed skin. I suppose it was easier to target women wearing traditional Western formal attire. Beautiful place, but the disrespect, selective enforcement, and cultural insensitivity overshadowed the experience. read more
