My wife and I went to Maple & Ash for our anniversary and it was such a great experience! The vibe here is very romantic and rather elegant, which makes it perfect for a special celebration like the one we attended for. For my drink, I ordered the Dream Police, which is bourbon-based cocktail with a fruity twist. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it was honestly quite good! For my entree, I ordered the 8 oz filet which was easily one of the best steaks I've had in recent years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who fancies a filet. To top it all off, the service was attentive and made the dinner feel special. Job well done, M&A!

Celebrated our 1-year wedding anniversary at Maple & Ash and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel super special with a welcome cocktail and a curated special menu just for the occasion. I started with the Lavender and Luxury cocktail which was so good. For dinner, I had the Pillows of Love. When it first came out, I thought the portion looked small, but it was honestly the perfect size, was flavorful and satisfying without leaving me overly full. Every detail, from the service to the presentation, made the night feel really memorable. Definitely a spot I'd recommend for a special celebration.

I love Maple and Ash, this was my fourth visit and it's amazing every time. Came here to try the tower hour and to celebrate my mom's birthday. We of course got the tower of seafood. The scallops and shrimp were fantastic, I just wish there wasn't as many clams or maybe some mussels . My dad got the burger and loved it. The Rockefeller oyster dip was my favorite by far, a must order! As always the staff is so sweet and the drinks are strong

Seafood "tower" for one. I'd go back for this alone!

Maybe more like a 4.5. I stopped in on the way back to California. Dined at the bar. Pros: the $40 seafood app - 2 large shrimp, 2 oysters, 2 scallops, and I think 6 clams. All wood fire oven roasted, and perfectly cooked. Good for 1 person or could be shared by two (I would get my own - it was terrific). Complimentary crudites - fresh veg and crackers with a white bean puree and olive tapenade. Light and tasty, and checked off my veg requirement. Got the 10 wagyu strip, which was delicious, but I decided would be better shared by 2 due to richness of the meat, which was perfectly medium rare. Handcut fries were okay, but not extraordinary. Cons: the music. Loud. I had airpods on NC setting and could still here it. The bartenders were attentive until "the regulars" showed up and then they only came around for the check. Expensive: My tab, including two cocktails was ~$300, sans tip.

My friends and I were drawn to this place after seeing their mouthwatering Seafood Tower on Instagram. We decided to check it out during Tower Hour to get a feel for the restaurant and see if it was worthy of a special occasion. While I wish I could give this a higher rating, I ultimately left a bit disappointed with the overall experience. To start on a positive note, there are several free parking garages nearby, and valet is available if you prefer not to park yourself. The staff was lovely and very professional throughout the evening. Upon arrival, the intimate, candle-lit ambiance stood out immediately- it felt trendy without being stuffy or pretentious. The bar area was lively but not overly crowded, and their impressive liquor display was hard to miss. My friend arrived before me and was already enjoying his cocktail. We were greeted with a small complimentary veggie tray paired with an interesting dip, which was a nice touch while waiting to order. Shortly after, our waitress offered a complimentary mini cocktail, which I really enjoyed. At this point, we're impressed. I opted not to order an alcoholic drink and instead chose a mocktail instead of just water since they gave us the comp drink. My Lavender & Luxury mocktail was delicious. We each ordered the Fire-Roasted Seafood Tower ($40 each) since one was not enough to share. Unfortunately, the sauce was a letdown for me. It was overly oily and lacked flavor, which really diminished the dish. Still hungry, we ordered the Oyster Rockefeller Dip, half a dozen raw oysters (which we enjoyed), and the Dry-Aged Wagyu Burger. The burger was massive and very filling, but the dip missed the mark. The cheese had hardened into a solid layer instead of being warm and gooey as expected. It likely would have been much better served hotter. While the sliced toast that accompanied it was tasty, we ran out quickly before finishing the dip. We asked for a few more, but they didn't arrive until we were already preparing to leave later. I saw after we were charged $6 for them! Had the waitress mention the extra charge, we probably wouldn't have gotten them because the dip was not worth it. As we were finishing up, a waiter clearing our table convinced us to try a "secret menu" pasta, which turned out to be curly pasta added to our leftover seafood tower sauce. The pasta was undercooked, and since I wasn't a fan of the sauce to begin with, we only had a small taste. That was another wasted $10. Overall, the experience hadn't been particularly impressive- but what truly shocked us was the bill. It came to over $200, which felt excessive. Turns out, on top of food and tax, we were charged a liquor tax ($15), a non-alcoholic beverage tax ($18!), and an employee benefits charge. To make matters worse, my mocktail ended up costing more than my friend's drink, and both of our beverage prices were essentially doubled due to these added charges! I'm not sure if that's stated on their website but it should be. Between the mediocre food and unexpected fees, I left feeling let down. Consider this a fair warning to anyone thinking of dining here: be prepared for hefty extra charges. I don't know if it's the norm or if I never paid attention before.

Tried Maple & Ash for my bday dinner and it was very beautiful inside!! The decor and nice Christmas set up for the holidays!! They give you a complimentary cocktail that was very tasty!!! It was a cucumber cocktail that was actually tasty!! For my drink I ordered the playing for keeps which was 5/5!! Very tasty and refreshing!! My dinner option I got the chicken and mashed potatoes for my side!! We also ordered the Maple & Ash wedge for the starter!! It was good as well!!! The branzino however did not have too much flavor but is good to try and know for next time!! The service was exceptional!!!! Made my birthday very special!! I love how they put your name and happy birthday on your menu and you can take it home as well !! The server was cool the whole time and super chill!! Everyone who works there is cool!! I recommend to come here for a date night and celebration!!! -Marshay D.

I took one of my lil sisters (mentee) here to celebrate a milestone in her career!!! They greeted us with a customized menu that congratulated her! Upon entering the server Justin gave us a no charge lemon margarita which was tasty! We got the grilled octopus appetizer - sooooo good! It being grilled over am open fire really gave it great flavor. The sauce it was tossed in was also very tasty! We followed with the 28 day aged ribeye medium rare which oyster mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. Everything was amazing!!! So so so good!! We will definitely come again! Our server Justin never rushed us. He gave us great recommendations!

Maple & Ash in Scottsdale Arizona is probably one of the bougiest restaurants I've ever been to. From the moment you walk in, everything feels classy and elegant -- right down to the complimentary caviar dip and welcome drinks! (which already set the tone for the night) We came here to celebrate my bestie's birthday and this place definitely delivered. The ambience is unreal: dim lighting, lit candles everywhere, fancy chandeliers, a strict dress code, and even bathroom attendants. It truly feels like a full luxury experience. I have to mention that the personalized menu they give you for your birthday was my favorite thing they do! As expected with most upscale restaurants, the portions were very much on the smaller side. I ordered the "Pillows of Love" expecting to fully fall in l o v e with this dish...only to got bored of my meal by the 6th bite if I'm being honest. My biggest takeaways from the night though, were definitely the decor and service. The aesthetic and vibes were everything! Unfortunately, we did have one server who felt a bit standoffish toward our table, which was a little off-putting. Not to mention -- for some insane reason our orders ended up getting stuck behind a table of over 30 people, which meant we had to wait almost an hour for our food to come out?? Luckily our main server, Josh, did his best to make it up to us by constantly checking in and bringing us several complimentary dishes so we wouldn't be starving while waiting for our entrees. Josh completely turned things around -- he was helpful, accommodating, and genuinely made our experience that much better! His service really stood out to us and for sure elevated our night. While the experience itself was memorable, the food didn't completely blow me away tbh. I can't say it's a place I'd rush back to, but it was definitely worth trying at least once! Come here if you want to feel bougie for a night -- because you WILL feel exactly that.

This restaurant is always one of my favorite!! Ambiance is so classy and upscale. The service is always amazing and the food is fantastic! My favorite is the sea bass- it melts in your mouth. You obviously have to finish with the butter cake as dessert!

So so pretty inside. It is definitely a vibe! It's very cozy. We had a reservation and were sat quickly. Staff was very nice! The food was super good. They gave us a complimentary drink for my friends birthday.

I came here on a friday night. The restaurant felt very Luxe and elevated. As soon as we were seated, our server poured us a complimentary cocktail. I also liked that we got the option of getting a menu printed that says "Happy F*@king Birthday " with the birthday girl's name. We got a free small appetizer to share. It was pureed bean with olives and assorted veggies for dipping. I wasn't really too much of a fan of it but it was nice to have something to snack on before our meal. I got a short rib bolognese as my entree. It was such a small portion. The short rib was really salty as well. It was $46 and I still left hungry. My friend's echoed the same about their meals as well. Like the staff was lovely but its alot of money being spent just to leave still a bit hungry so that was my only disappointment.

    Brunch

All I have to say is wow! I've always heard brunch at Maple and Ash is wild, and honestly, it lived up to the hype. Dinner is usually packed, but for brunch we got seated right away. Our server was great. She walked us through the menu, gave solid recs, and made the whole thing feel easy. They start you off with beignets and a coffee cocktail, which is such a fun way to kick things off. We ordered the champagne tower, and it was huge. It took over the whole table with juices and a mix of berries. If you plan to stick with bubbles, the tower is worth it. Then the seafood tower came out and our table looked crazy in the best way. Plenty of food for five people and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I would definitely come back and order the seafood tower for myself. It was that delicious! For mains, we chose 'Breakfast at Maple'. When you order that, everyone picks their own entree, and the table also gets bacon, potatoes, and steak. It was a total feast. I ordered the omelet and it was pretty decent. However, the shared dishes were the real stars! The steak was tender, the potatoes were super creamy, and the thick-cut maple bacon was unreal. Highly recommend going that route if you want a large breakfast. If you love brunch and want to go big, this place delivers. You get so much value and the whole experience feels fun and fancy. This place is perfect for any occasion. I definitely recommend it.

    The Lady in Black

This place was highly recommended so I stopped by for dinner. Everything was delicious. I ordered a Lady in Black cocktail which was perfect. I tried the Branzino and Ceasar salad for my meal. It was so good that I came back the next day to try more menu items. Lindsey and McKinley were great bartenders and really attentive. Definitely a go-to spot.

The bread was a nice sourdough that was not just a cheap white bread and did not get soggy. However, with my sandwich, the bread was burnt so that bitterness ruined the flavor of the delicate fish. My pictures shows a few burnt spots, but on the bottom side was way more burnt and it was like they put the most burnt side on the bottom to hide it and hope I didn't notice. I did not appreciate this. CLAM CHOWDER- creamy and more on the fluid consistency, being made with fresh clams makes the difference. Not the best chowder i've had, but was pretty decent. The fish variety can vary with seasons, but it is nice to get different choices throughout the year. There are limited offerings here compared to the bigger location across town, as far as menu and fish selection. But for a small store it is a good place to get some quality seafood to take home or sit and eat. Check out the great happy hour deals

This place was a....catch! We loved the hospitality and knowledge of our server KJ and sommelier…read morePenny. I'm tempted to go back and just order everything again but there's still so much I want to try! I highly recommend sharing everything so you can get a little taste of the whole menu. Here's what we ordered for four very hungry diners: Madai crudo, hellfire roll, crispy shrimp, wagyu gyoza, baked king crab hand roll, angry lobster mafaldine, wagyu fried rice, miso glazed sea bass, herb roasted branzino, truffle fries and Brussels sprouts.

Elegant, fine addition to Scottsdale Fashion Mall dining. Look for the door guys in suits and…read moretennis shoes to greet ou and swing open the doors. Probably could have walked in without reservation on a Wednesday night, but to be safe, have one. Dark and clubby interior. Feels like place you go when you don't want to be seen with that special someone. Fashion Mall valet right outside the door, although the price has gone up to $30 recently. It's very efficient and well manned though. The menu is an interesting mix of fun starters, nicely done Nigiri sushi, steak, and seafood entrées. We started with a Nigiri sampler, and the house special catch sushi roll. Both were really good and the bluefin tuna Nigiri with a bit of caviar on top was outstanding. For entrées, we sampled the miso Seabass and a lobster pasta. There was nothing left on either of our plates and the portion sizes are not too big to encourage you to try different things on the menu. The wine list is extensive, maybe one of the most extensive list of international wines I've seen in a long time. They are aggressively marked up in price and would be the only thing I could complain about in the whole evening. The wine the Sommelier recommended was outstanding but at $330 a bottle. It really made the whole place seem overly expensive for what you get. Service was very attentive the whole evening without being overbearing. I enjoyed it, but not sure I'd go back just based on the value proposition.
