    Oyster Rockefeller dip

Came back while visiting again. SO sad Los Angeles doesn't have this place yet Anyways the service was great again . We made it in time for happy hour so we tried some items from Tower hour and the dinner menu. Really enjoyed the lobster frites I could eat that all day and currently debating if I should come back again today lol. The Rockefeller oyster dip was also good I would just add sine garlic too or maybe a garlic bread . We also enjoyed some bubbles during tower hour. For the main dinner we had the ribeye and truffle potatoes along with the wedge salad and it was delicious . Sitting in the lounge gave a great ambiance the music and staff were great. I also had a great drink which the bartender created . Of course I will comeback when in town ! Please give Los Angeles a location soon !

Maple & Ash Scottsdale was a very memorable dinner. I sat in the bar area in a comfy little round booth, and I would definitely recommend the bar area to dine in for solo or small groups: modern, sleek, and great service. We kicked things off with a complimentary prickly pear vodka cocktail (delicious) paired with a comp app -- looks like they rotate these, and I got hummus with crudite and crackers. During the meal, there were 2 standout dishes that made this memorable. - Hamachi Crudo: THE BEST crudo I have ever had. They switch up the dressing regularly, but whatever they put on mine was unforgettable - 10 oz Wagyu Strip: solid steak, but nothing "Wagyu" tasting. It didn't have that melt-in-your-mouth fatty richness I was hoping for from wagyu and was slightly chewy. - Scallops: tender! - Asparagus: came with a creamy sauce which was a great touch - Chocolate Espresso Mousse Cake: MAGICAL. Layered, with crunchy pralines and vanilla ice cream. If you've had the chocolate hazelnut cake at Carbone, this gave me major similar vibes... that good! Will absolutely be back to try a different cut of steak and also the loaded baked potato. The ambience alone is worth the trip, but the crudo and that cake are what's going to stick with me.

View of the food we ordered. King crab legs, steak, mushrooms and fries.

My wife and I celebrated my birthday at Maple & Ash, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food, service, and ambiance were all truly five-star. Some of the standout items for us were the mocktails and the pasta. The Pillows of Love pasta absolutely lived up to the hype and was one of the highlights of the meal. We also enjoyed the mac and cheese, mushrooms, steak, and seafood. Everything was beautifully prepared, high quality, and worthy of the restaurant's reputation. If I had one minor critique, it would be the king crab legs. They are char-grilled, which gives them a smoky flavor that wasn't quite our personal preference. That said, the quality of the crab itself was excellent, and it's more a matter of taste than a criticism of the preparation. The atmosphere made for a perfect birthday dinner--upscale, energetic, and memorable without feeling stuffy. Combined with outstanding food and attentive service, it made for a special evening that my wife and I won't forget. If you're looking for a restaurant for a celebration, date night, or simply an exceptional dining experience, Maple & Ash delivers. We'll definitely be back.

Maple and Ash is one of my absolute favorite steakhouses but with their unique twist. I've celebrated a lot of birthdays, holidays, milestones and just because moments here because the service is top notch and the food is delicious! They also have a bomb dj!! My favorite is going for brunch for the prix fix meal. It starts off a welcome cocktail and pastry, you choose your entree and all sides are included. Like who wouldn't want steak as a side?? Audrey and the sommelier team are amazing and bring the best recommendations and make the experience even better! One of my favorite events was their summer social featuring a lot of wine vendors and I hope they bring it back.

This place had an amazing ambiance and incredible food! We tried so many things off the menu and nothing disappointed! The staff there were beyond lovely, attentive & kind. The food came out quickly, especially given our size. Great place for a special event and large group!

My wife and I went to Maple & Ash for our anniversary and it was such a great experience! The vibe here is very romantic and rather elegant, which makes it perfect for a special celebration like the one we attended for. For my drink, I ordered the Dream Police, which is bourbon-based cocktail with a fruity twist. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it was honestly quite good! For my entree, I ordered the 8 oz filet which was easily one of the best steaks I've had in recent years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who fancies a filet. To top it all off, the service was attentive and made the dinner feel special. Job well done, M&A!

Celebrated our 1-year wedding anniversary at Maple & Ash and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel super special with a welcome cocktail and a curated special menu just for the occasion. I started with the Lavender and Luxury cocktail which was so good. For dinner, I had the Pillows of Love. When it first came out, I thought the portion looked small, but it was honestly the perfect size, was flavorful and satisfying without leaving me overly full. Every detail, from the service to the presentation, made the night feel really memorable. Definitely a spot I'd recommend for a special celebration.

Went to celebrate my birthday and had an amazing time! The restaurant isn't too dark or loud, so there's a great vibe. In addition to the custom menu, I received a complimentary drink to celebrate. All of our food was tasty and I LOVED the brussel sprouts. I felt well taken care of and would return.

Great birthday celebration dinner!! Fun and elegant ambiance with friendly service! The Baller grilled seafood tower was amazing!! King crabs legs and lobster were sweet and meat! All the seafood was cooked perfectly juicy not dry. Great to share between 4 of us. Dry aged Tomahawk was so tender! Perfect pairing with the buttery bone marrow. Everything was perfect! It is worthy to come here on special occasions.

Tried Maple & Ash for my bday dinner and it was very beautiful inside!! The decor and nice Christmas set up for the holidays!! They give you a complimentary cocktail that was very tasty!!! It was a cucumber cocktail that was actually tasty!! For my drink I ordered the playing for keeps which was 5/5!! Very tasty and refreshing!! My dinner option I got the chicken and mashed potatoes for my side!! We also ordered the Maple & Ash wedge for the starter!! It was good as well!!! The branzino however did not have too much flavor but is good to try and know for next time!! The service was exceptional!!!! Made my birthday very special!! I love how they put your name and happy birthday on your menu and you can take it home as well !! The server was cool the whole time and super chill!! Everyone who works there is cool!! I recommend to come here for a date night and celebration!!! -Marshay D.

I took one of my lil sisters (mentee) here to celebrate a milestone in her career!!! They greeted us with a customized menu that congratulated her! Upon entering the server Justin gave us a no charge lemon margarita which was tasty! We got the grilled octopus appetizer - sooooo good! It being grilled over am open fire really gave it great flavor. The sauce it was tossed in was also very tasty! We followed with the 28 day aged ribeye medium rare which oyster mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. Everything was amazing!!! So so so good!! We will definitely come again! Our server Justin never rushed us. He gave us great recommendations!

My friends and I were drawn to this place after seeing their mouthwatering Seafood Tower on Instagram. We decided to check it out during Tower Hour to get a feel for the restaurant and see if it was worthy of a special occasion. While I wish I could give this a higher rating, I ultimately left a bit disappointed with the overall experience. To start on a positive note, there are several free parking garages nearby, and valet is available if you prefer not to park yourself. The staff was lovely and very professional throughout the evening. Upon arrival, the intimate, candle-lit ambiance stood out immediately- it felt trendy without being stuffy or pretentious. The bar area was lively but not overly crowded, and their impressive liquor display was hard to miss. My friend arrived before me and was already enjoying his cocktail. We were greeted with a small complimentary veggie tray paired with an interesting dip, which was a nice touch while waiting to order. Shortly after, our waitress offered a complimentary mini cocktail, which I really enjoyed. At this point, we're impressed. I opted not to order an alcoholic drink and instead chose a mocktail instead of just water since they gave us the comp drink. My Lavender & Luxury mocktail was delicious. We each ordered the Fire-Roasted Seafood Tower ($40 each) since one was not enough to share. Unfortunately, the sauce was a letdown for me. It was overly oily and lacked flavor, which really diminished the dish. Still hungry, we ordered the Oyster Rockefeller Dip, half a dozen raw oysters (which we enjoyed), and the Dry-Aged Wagyu Burger. The burger was massive and very filling, but the dip missed the mark. The cheese had hardened into a solid layer instead of being warm and gooey as expected. It likely would have been much better served hotter. While the sliced toast that accompanied it was tasty, we ran out quickly before finishing the dip. We asked for a few more, but they didn't arrive until we were already preparing to leave later. I saw after we were charged $6 for them! Had the waitress mention the extra charge, we probably wouldn't have gotten them because the dip was not worth it. As we were finishing up, a waiter clearing our table convinced us to try a "secret menu" pasta, which turned out to be curly pasta added to our leftover seafood tower sauce. The pasta was undercooked, and since I wasn't a fan of the sauce to begin with, we only had a small taste. That was another wasted $10. Overall, the experience hadn't been particularly impressive- but what truly shocked us was the bill. It came to over $200, which felt excessive. Turns out, on top of food and tax, we were charged a liquor tax ($15), a non-alcoholic beverage tax ($18!), and an employee benefits charge. To make matters worse, my mocktail ended up costing more than my friend's drink, and both of our beverage prices were essentially doubled due to these added charges! I'm not sure if that's stated on their website but it should be. Between the mediocre food and unexpected fees, I left feeling let down. Consider this a fair warning to anyone thinking of dining here: be prepared for hefty extra charges. I don't know if it's the norm or if I never paid attention before.

Are the bottomless sides still an option for brunch?

Yes, you can order off the full dinner menu as well as the Tower Hour menu when seated in the bar and lounge.

Hi. I wanted to know how to request a pair of the "happy f*@king bday menus"?

Tell your server, put it in your reso, or call them after your reso. Have fun!

Hi I saw on your website, The dinner menu, The Arm Candy section had Crab Oscar $28 but then I saw a menu that a guest took a picture that was posted on Yelp that had it for $64. Which is the accurate price?

Hi Johnny, our Crab Oscar is $28.

What is the grace period for your reservation? Does everyone have to be present for seating?

We can hold your table up to 15 minutes after the reservation time, and we don't seat incomplete parties.

What is your happy hour menu? Online I only see $2 oyster

Are sides included with the steaks or is everything separate?

It's all separate. The sides are mostly for sharing for 2-3 ppl.

Do I need a reservation for Happy Hour?

I think so. depends during the day and time. They're very busy during weekends and Friday's. Best is to do reservation. I've seen people waiting in the waiting area due to them not having a reservation. So if I were you, book a reservation.

We brought family from out of town and had a party of 11 (six adults and five kids). There was a long wait, which we completely understood. We spent the time at the bar where the service was excellent, and the kids browsed the nearby shops. Unfortunately, once we were seated, the experience went downhill. Our server seemed to have little sense of urgency. Everything took an unusually long time, but the biggest issue was the food, which took well over an hour despite being a very simple order of burgers, sandwiches, and other basic menu items. Throughout the wait, we watched tables seated after us receive their food and leave while we were still waiting. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication. Rather than checking in or providing an update, our server was frequently visible chatting with coworkers and rolling silverware. When our food finally arrived, it was at best room temperature, making it seem like it had been sitting for quite a while before being brought to the table. We asked to speak with a manager, who said she would look into it, but never returned to follow up. That lack of acknowledgment or accountability was even more disappointing than the delay itself. We declined the offer of dessert because we needed to get the kids home, yet instead of bringing the check promptly, our server spent additional time clearing the table before finally processing our payment. As someone who has worked as a server, I understand that delays happen and kitchens get backed up. What makes the difference is communication, ownership, and making guests feel like their time matters. None of that happened here. It's unfortunate because we've had good experiences in the past, but this visit left us embarrassed that we chose this restaurant to host visiting family.

Some in the group ordered pan roasts and some ordered crawfish etouffee. My friend also ordered clams. I always get the combo pan roast here. It's a mix of crawfish, shrimp and crab. Choose your spice level from 1-10. I forgot to specify a number and just said "hot" but it was not spicy enough for me. I normally get 7-8. I ended up adding in all the hot sauce options that were on the table plus some chili powder. Now that had a good kick to it. Ask for that! Price for the combo pan roast has doubled from before! It used to be $20, then it slowly increased to $30, and now it's $40! It's good, but I can also make it at home and get more for my money.

This place feels like someone at the casino ran out of ideas--and space--and decided, "Sure, let's…read morecram a seafood restaurant into this random corner and call it a day." The result is a space so small and awkward it borders on absurd: a few tightly packed tables, a tiny circular bar, and just enough room to guarantee a wait time that feels wildly out of proportion to what's actually being offered. It's wedged at the end of a hallway off the casino floor, with all the ambiance of a service passage. Calling it a restaurant is generous; it's more like a seafood-themed afterthought. Honestly, it would make far more sense as a grab-and-go sandwich counter or coffee stand. As it is, it comes across as the fast-food version of seafood--minus the speed, convenience, or value. I was there with my 21-year-old daughter and we sat at the bar, which turned out to be a mistake. Instead of even the bare minimum of professionalism, the staff treated the space like their personal break room. We were subjected to loud singing, nonstop chatter, and unfiltered complaints about coworkers and management--all happening just a couple of feet away while we were trying to eat. It wasn't just distracting; it was genuinely uncomfortable. There's something uniquely off-putting about paying for a meal while being forced to listen to an impromptu staff gripe session. With so many legitimately good restaurants nearby, there's absolutely no reason to waste time--or money--here. It's the kind of place that makes you immediately regret not going literally anywhere else. I would have happily waited to dine at Orange Sky, where the setting and service actually match expectations. In hindsight, skipping this entirely wouldn't have just been the better option--it would have been the obvious one.

Only downside is that…read morefor some reason Apple maps was not accurate to finding the location and parking was a challenge as it is right on Roosevelt Row. However as soon as I found it and immediately after entering Pretty Penny I was transformed to the cutest little restaurant. I was greeted immediately and had made a reservation so even though my friend hadn't arrived yet, they sat me down. They instantly offered water and menus (food and cocktail). I noticed that the menu seemed very small and the dishes were shareable -- I don't eat meat so I was hoping my friend wouldn't mind sticking with fish and seafood (which she didn't). As soon as I got to my table there was the cutest sign that said welcome to Sarah Sherman and guest -- it was such an adorable and personal touch, I loved that! As soon as my friend got there we immediately both ordered the cold brew old fashioned -- we thought about the espresso martini but this just sounded too good to pass up -- and we were not disappointed! This drink was so tasty and strong. We immediately ordered the bread (sourdough boule) to soak up some of the alcohol as well as some oysters and the salsa. The oysters were so well spiced and were absolutely delicious. But the bread, the bread, the bread -- the server mentioned that it took almost 9 months to develop the bread recipe and it served. It was the best bread and butter that I think I have ever had! The salsa was good but probably was my least favorite of everything and it was still super yummy. We then moved on to the octopus tostadas. Sometimes octopus is not my fav -- it can be too chewy but this was so amazing and incredibly flavorful. It was starting to be my favorite dish until we ordered the Hamachi -- OMG!! Talk about a mouth orgasm-- both my friend and I were yummming it up -- but seriously this bite was so complex with different flavors coming up with every chew -- it has coriander candied peanuts, fermented pineapple, avocado, pickled fresno, toasted coconut and aji amarillo yogurt -- The server mentioned that this was the chef's least favorite dish which I totally do not understand because this was off the charts in my book. We also tried the earl gray whiskey sour, which was light and delicious, and ended with the shrimp toast and the espresso martini. By the way the toast on the shrimp toast was like a little fried dough triangle -- sooooo gooood! The martini was good but the cold brew old fashioned really stole the spotlight for me. Other details I loved that just elevated the experience: Purse hook (very important to me), the little trays for your utensils, metal coasters, incredibly attentive servers, fantastic music, great ambiance and the cutest was the penny they put on top of your check. So cute -- was not expecting such an enjoyable all around experience!! Will be back 1000%!!!

It was pretty good but certainly not worth the titular pretty penny price--and we didn't even get…read morethe recommended 8 dishes, which is, like, the entire menu. To start, the menu is a bit puzzling. It's kind of like a handful of Asian-inspired dishes, a handful of Mexican/South American, and a handful of French or New American. But there's not enough of each to chart a course through one type of cuisine. So, basically you're gonna have a cultural melange meal. Hamachi crudo was really good and fairly unique. The halibut was excellently prepared but not particularly innovative in any way I could tell. Zucchini had goat cheese, which wasn't immediately clear from the description, so I didn't enjoy the rude surprise I got when I took my first bite, and didn't eat anymore, as I really despise the stuff. So that was a waste. Not a dig on the dish, just a personal thing I wish I had more notice of. There were other issues though. The wine list was exceptionally small, They were out of the bread, which is supposedly a must-try. And then we were going to get the steak but the folks next to us advised against it, showing their cut that had zero fat. They said it was leather. On that point, the tables are SUPER CLOSE. Like, a couple inches apart. You hear everything and almost can't avoid getting entwined into others' conversation. We liked the people we were next to, but be aware that it's an unintentionally awkward communal experience that's not well-suited to a date night. The service was pretty good, they put out a nice printed greeting with the reservation name, and give you a sparkling wine toast. But considering the price and overall experience we had, I'd pass and not come back.

The bar is a little loud and there's way too many lights on and open windows for a dinner spot in my opinion. We ordered cocktails east coast sour is amazing I could have drank 10 it was dangerous lol They were offering a signature summer menu and it was excellent. The food and price. $79 each person got and app entrees and side plus dessert. I got crispy calamari fries and my man got meatballs. We shared everything so it's like having the best of the menu! I got the pork chop and mashed potatoes. He got the filet and roasted broccoli with lemon. For dessert I had some butter cake and he had crème brûlée. The service was outstanding and again the food was 10/10.

The cheesy potato's were good, and the ceviche was really good. I enjoyed the knife picking and the different selection. Drinks were good and there was a large variety. Atmosphere was great and the outside seating was perfect in March. Phenomenal service. We enjoyed feeling pampered. Heads up- strict dress code. It was spring training and several individuals were turned away for not wearing appropriate attire. Read the website before coming. We enjoyed it and left full and buzzed. Perfect for a Saturday night after a day of fly fishing.
