Jing management actually reached out to me and invited us to return to make up for an unpleasant experience in July. Grateful that they reached out because this time, it was a complete 180, definitely a more impressive and elevated evening! We were seated inside, within one of the beautiful cushy green booths. Our server Jenna was the sweetest with superb hospitality, always checking in on us to make sure we were comfortable. This time, we decided to try all different dishes. We started with the Alaskan snow crab roll which was one of our favorite dishes of the evening! Jenna kindly sent out their signature Jing tuna pizza for us to try. It's a beautiful presentation with the tuna thinly sliced with crispy capers, but I thought it was just ok, likely because tuna isn't one of my top favorite sashimis, unless it's tuna toro. Next we had the rock shrimp tempura, wagyu beef bao sliders, and blue crab rangoons, all were excellent! We also had the miso black cod and the imperial reserve A10+ Wagyu hot rock. Shells & cheese was our side. All of these were very well-prepared. Really enjoyed being able to cook our own wagyu slices! Also this time, the bowl of rice was perfectly steamed. We were so full from dinner that we didn't have room for dessert, but Jenna packed us up a Tiramisu with a birthday candle to take home. Really, just so thoughtful! Again appreciative to Izzy for reaching out and for such an amazing server, Jenna! Thanks for changing my mind about Jing! :)

I had a fantastic dinner at Jing on a Friday night. The ambiance is amazing. It's an upscale atmosphere. Perfect for a girls night out. To start we had to order lychee martinis. These tasted great and came in a tall unique martini glass. For appetizers, we tried the bao burger, kale salad, and vegetarian sushi. You have to order the bao it was the perfect fusion and the sauce was unlike any other burger sauce I've had. Kale salad reminded me of Hillstone. Veggies were fresh and good quality. For our main, we tried the salmon and filet mignon. I appreciated that you could order how you wanted your salmon cooked. Both dishes were perfectly cooked to our liking and tasty. Food came out fast and hot. Jing has only been open for less than a year and exceeded my expectations. This is a well run restaurant with excellent atmosphere, staff, and food. I will be coming back!

We were referred here and it absolutely did not disappoint! Jennifer was a fantastic waitress, and Ryan, the GM, went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. The food was incredible--from the Alaskan King Crab Roll, Short Rib Dumplings, and Wagyu Beef Bao Sliders to the Lobster XO Fried Rice, Shrimp & Chicken Fried Rice, and Steak Chow Fun. Everything was delicious and full of flavor! Great food, amazing service, and a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back!

Jing is an asian inspired, jungle themed restaurant with an amazing happy hour and such a fun atmosphere. The whole place honestly feels like you've been transported to Vegas. We ordered the rock shrimp tempura from the happy hour menu (honestly, even better than Nobu), along with the hamachi crunch rolls and garlic fries. For drinks, we had a Pinot Noir, Cosmopolitan, and Prosecco. We also tried the tiger prawn garlic noodles from the dinner menu, and for dessert, we finished with Tiramisu Everything we ordered was delicious, and the happy hour prices made it an even better experience. Our server was amazing and helped us choose since it was our first time there. She also let us know they have live music and a DJ after 8 PM, so the vibe gets even more lively later in the night. We had such a great experience at Jing, and we'll definitely be back to check out the post-8 PM jungle party atmosphere!

While in Scottsdale, go here for happy hour and stay for dinner. Ana and the rest of the bar team were amazing. Super friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and gave me some freebies! For my 51st birthday, at the last minute I made reservations to go eat dinner here. The only thing open was outside in about an hour so I booked it for 8:15 PM. Upon arrival - outside was not the vibes and it's hot. So we waited for the bar to open up - bingo! Grabbed 2 seats and it was on. We were carded after ordering drinks and I let my server know it's my birthday! To start, drinks - spicy jalapeño margarita and a passion fruit margarita. Appetizers: Short rib dumplings and a rainbow roll. Dinner: We shared the garlic noodles with Thai basil chicken & shrimp. Dessert: Mango sorbet. Bonus: Buddha Lemon Shot! Food was delicious and plated well. Orders come out fast. They keep water and drinks filled. Conversation, a DJ, great looking people and overall great vibes. I really enjoyed myself and the experience. Random: It's located in a Safeway shopping plaza which is an interesting twist. Parking is free (it's a CVS and other stores nearby) but they do offer valet.

Beautiful inside! Love the bar and it was piping at 4pm on a Thursday! I tried the happy hour Alaskan Snow Crab Roll with seaweed in stead of soy paper wrap. It was definitely unique. A bit less flavorful than I expected but still good and worth trying. I look forward to exploring something new next time. I especially enjoyed dipping it into a side of truffle oil. Highly recommended accent! I also tried the edamame with chili garlic sauce on the side. I didn't care too much for the sauce as it was a thick red sauce that tasted too much like a tomato base and I was hoping for a more fluid consistency and salty, garlic flavor. The dumplings others were eating looked amazing and the wagu fried rice smelled amazing! Service was wonderful, very attentive. Brian went above and beyond to make sure i had everything I asked for! Truly everyone was professional and warm and staff really seemed to enjoy each other and their job. I would probably give the flavors I had today before but creativity of the menu and staff bring it to a five.

Wow, the look, feel, and ambience of Jing is incredible! It looks like you're at a vibey and luxurious spot for a date, or it was pulled right out of a fancy spot in Vegas! Vibes and atmosphere is awesome! The food unfortunately was okay and very expensive. My husband and I went during lunch hour and ordered a sashimi plate, spicy wonton, and the Thai chicken & shrimp power bowl. However it took us about 15 minutes to decide what to order because the prices are so high. It was hard to decide to spend $11 on edamame. The taste was good, nothing bad but nothing memorable, especially for the price. The portions were small, especially the sashimi plate and wontons, they were the tiniest and cutest wontons I've had, but I will not be ordering them again. No heat, no wow, nothing to remember, just good food. This place stands out as a cool spot, draws you in, but keeps you wanting more for the amount you're spending.

Came here for my friends birthday. She choose this spot. We walk up and greeted the front ladies first. Told them we made reservations on OpenTable at 5pm they check us in and was seated right away. Our server was very nice. Cant remember his name but he had a sweet voice with glasses. He cleared our tables made sure we had full water glass. Thats 1 thing I really admire about a restaurant. Making sure our water is always filled. Food was phenomenal like 10 out of 10 delicious. Although the spicy wonton had a tingling sensation on our tongues, definitely spicy but delicious. The place was beautiful! Giving lounge and comfort instead of an everyday usually restaurant seats. These were very comfy and stylish. Didnt wanna leave. Overall we left full and happy!

JING is decadent, bougie, and clearly a trendy new spot! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the service has been slow and the prices are a bit overinflated even for a nicer high end spot. Stuff that I would absolutely recommend are the Wagyu sliders and the tuna pizza! Their HH from 3-6 is pretty legit but the drinks aren't really marked down that much. Love the martini options as well as the old fashioned. Something else worth noting is the wine bottles also are on HH prices! Would recommend for a fancy evening out if you don't mind dropping some cash!

Go there for the ambience but food is ho hum and overpriced. It's supposed to be an Asian fusion place so I tried Kung pao. It was like what you'd get at Panda Express.

Had a great experience at JING in Scottsdale! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the overall experience was even better thanks to our server, Chris. Chris was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. He was knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and genuinely made us feel welcomed. Between the food, atmosphere, and exceptional service, JING is definitely a place I'd recommend and return to.

Everything was good. I was most looking forward to the short rib dumplings and they were ok, I wouldn't get them again. The spicy wontons were nice and so was the roll, can't remember which I got though. The service was friendly but took almost :10 for the waitress to come to the table. I'm sure I need to come back again because many rave about this spot. I was expecting 4 stars and it just disnt get there for me.

Upon arrival, the place doesn't look like anything special. It's inside a strip mall, and looks mediocre. However, do not judge too soon. Once you get inside, everything is well laid out & it's very nice. It was busy when we went in on a Friday night, BUT we got seated quicker than estimated- which is always a win! I was not happy with where we were seated, as it was facing the wall in the small bar area. We are people watchers by nature, so it's always fun to be in a spot where we can look around the room effortlessly. However, it wasn't the end of the world and I certainly didn't want to wait any longer, the food looked wonderful & I was starving! I do not remember exactly which rolls we got, but... all of them were EXCELLENT!! Everything was undoubtedly fresh, and made with quality ingredients. I thought the black rice was really neat! I've never seen that before. The waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. It took no time at all to get our orders out, which was impressive considering that the place was packed near capacity! As we left, all of the sushi pros behind the glass thanked us for coming in and wished us a great rest of our evening. I thought that was very kind. It's not very often that you find a whole line of people stopping what they are doing to wish you well on your way out of their establishment. All in all, 10/10 experience! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Sushi!

Gotta love a restaurant that prices itself on the details to make customers feel welcome. We went here for lunch and shared the prix fixe menu which was an excellent way to try a lot off their menu. We had the akami te and hama chili for the first course. I am cilantro adverse so I requested the micro cilantro greens to be taken off the akami te which was an easy adjustment. Note that the sauce on the bottom does have some cilantro mixed in but I didn't notice a strong cilantro flavor with that and it tasted good with the rest of the dish. To our server, Valerie, you did an amazing job and like a few others, will be forever engraved in my head when I'm coming back. Upfront disclaimer... yes, Japanese. I actually had in mind getting the burger before coming, as the last time I came I chose something different and I had a bite from my friend, and it left a lasting impression for sure. This Burger hits different, and it's part of the prefix menu... and man, it's good!!! Cooked medium and served with a miso aioli and these onions that are not heavy and I think tossed with kimchi. Don't get me wrong... I wouldn't come here without grabbing some sushi. I ended up getting the Hamachi Nigiri and the Maguro Nigiri. To drink, I had the Tsurai cocktail, as I like a little tequila with fruit and we shared the iced tea. My business associate got the Sushi Omakase, which I had before. Bottom line, we were still raving about the food, the service, and just the vibe during the day.

The special was an assortment of various rolls assembled beautifully making each piece stand out. The first bite was divine and as we worked around the ring of rolls they got better and better. The sauces brought perfect harmony and complemented the fish. The sushi was incredibly fresh not having the fishy order lingering. The rolls melted in your mouth like butter leaving you satisfied. It was so good we placed a second order. The flavors went well with the Yuki Mango Nigori Sake. We also tried some of their beers and spent a while catching up. Belas service was second to none and made this reunion fabulous. We were a party of 12 visiting on vacation, and none of us are from the area. We ordered spam musubi and a chicken skewer as appetizers. Both appetizers arrived well after our entrees had already been served and we had essentially finished eating. Each time we asked about them, we were repeatedly told, "They're coming." Mind you, these are simple appetizers that should not take anywhere near that long to prepare. When we asked for the third time, we finally asked that the appetizers be cancelled since we had already finished our meal. At that point, the gentleman working the front area , tall, with red hair, loudly yelled from across the restaurant, in an extremely rude and confrontational tone, "It's already on the grill!" There was absolutely no reason to speak to paying customers that way. His response was unprofessional, unnecessary, and honestly created a very hostile and uncomfortable feeling during what should have been an enjoyable dinner, especially while our group was on vacation and simply trying to enjoy a meal together. When the appetizers eventually came out, we left them sitting there because we were already done eating and ended up taking them to go. He eventually told us they would be removed from the bill, which we appreciated, but that did not excuse the way the situation was handled. Again, the food was good, but good food does not make up for poor service and especially not for an employee speaking to customers in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Management should seriously address how customers are treated, because the interaction with this particular employee overshadowed what could have otherwise been a good dining experience for our party of 12.

It was literally just us in the whole building since it was about 8 and I know it was almost their closing time. We entered through the back that honestly didn't look like a back. I opened the door and was like no way this is open. IT WAS OPEN. We went in and sat and ate. The food is good. We got the fried calamari, edamame, sushi and I personally got ramen. The calamari was so good. Light battered but crunchy and the squid was big enough to where you could tell it was squid and not just a chewy something. The ramen was pretty good too. The broth was yummy. The egg I would've preferred more soft boiled but still good. I als got a Philly roll but had it as a hand roll. It was good and th salmon was in strips not cubes thankfully. Personally would've preferred avocado over cucumber but still very nice. The waitress was nice too. Very attentive and kept th food coming at a good pace. Paying was easy as well. Would come back

I did the Deluxe because it had soooo many options that I honestly didn't need Premium. I was surprised that it included sashimi in that option and was super happy about it. The quality of the fish was great, especially for an AYCE location. Service was great and attentive. The only bummer is they have this A5 Wagyu nigiri that you can only get one per person at the table, and it was sooo good. I really wish they would let us have it a couple more times, but it is what it is! Overall, will definitely be going back. Also, side note, my friend said not all locations have AYCE all day, but the Scottsdale one does.

Nigiri and various rolls were fantastic, served quickly, great presentation, and overall excellent quality. The service was stellar. Our waiter, John, went above and beyond to offer us extra sauces and provided helpful recommendations and "to-go" refills for our soft drinks. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant was clean and nicely appointed. Pricing was surprisingly modest in this exclusive Scottsdale locale, and they also offer an "all you can eat" special for about $39 which is an excellent value given the high food quality. Sorry no pictures this time. 10/10 - no notes. We plan to return again soon.

The place was buzzing with loud electronic music and tons of people dining -- I think because the ceiling is so high the noise is amplified. Because it was so busy it took a while for the server to come over but he did with waters which was nice but then the menus are all on QR codes -- which is annoying because it is hard to look at everything and because the menu is very confusing it would have been nice to see everything on paper. The menu is confusing because the selections are very odd -- I thought it was a mexican-asian/sushi fusion restaurant -- which I guess it is but it was still really hard to create the best food experience when I couldn't see everything available. My friend was hungry so she immediately put in an order for calamari and I was being called to order the blood orange margarita slushie. When the margarita came it was like nothing I have ever seen before. It looked more like a milkshake or like a creamsicle. I dove in thinking it would be too sweet but it was actually quite delicious and I sucked it back in a second! Also I put in an order for the edamame which sounded really good in the description -- "woodfired" and spicy miso butter -- but when they came they were really spicy and the woodfired element was making me cough, strangely enough -- I couldn't finish them! Finally after waiting forever we got the drinks and apps. It then took another 15 minutes to order our food. Again it was busy and my friend and I were catching up so it wasn't a big deal. We wanted a fairly light dinner so we just ordered one roll -- the Fuego, which had yellowtail and a whitefish, chili, cilantro and cucumber plus a pico de gallo on top -- it was very flavorful -- although a bit spicy for those who are spice wimps like me. Overall, thought it was a good meal but wasn't blown away.

This was the most authentic and delicious japanese restaurant that I have been to in years (yes,…read moreYEARS!) anywhere in the united states . It's a small restaurant run by Nihon-jin and staffed with culinary wizards. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful in making our food choices. We had three different waitresses constantly bringing our food and filling our glasses throughout the. There were six of us. The surrounding tables were all filled with Nihon-jin - a very good sign! We had gyoza appetizers that were the BEST i've had since leaving japan! It was cooked properly, which is PAN seared on the bottom. And the rest steamed with soft, chewy dumpling skin and tasty filling. Another appetizer was a plate of little sausages that came with a side of shaved cabbage. I heard they were good, but didn't try any myself. When I looked at the menu, there were so many various types of sushi! It was written in both japanese and english. They had a picture menu as well as a separate. Sushi menu. I had the kanpyo maki and also a futo maki roll. The other people at our table had katsudon, (one made with chicken and the other with pork), a plate of sashimi, a nigiri sushi combo, and several types of rolls. I chose Hiyashi Chuka, (cold ramen) - a chilled noodle dish popular in summertime. The toppings were sliced pieces of tender pork, surimi, wakame, carrot and cucumber slices. The dressing for Hiyashi Chuka is a sweet-and-sour soy sauce dressing (or tare). In fact, I usually take pictures of all my food and I was so excited i didn't take any pictures of the food or menu! I told my sister we have to go back there today so that I can take some! I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for authentic Japanese food made by Japanese people. There is such a wide variety of food that you would only get in Japan & never heard of before in a stateside restaurant. This is my new favorite Japanese restaurant! It will be yours too!
