Miso black cod ( so soft and delicious)
    Lyly T.

Came here for my friends birthday. She choose this spot. We walk up and greeted the front ladies first. Told them we made reservations on OpenTable at 5pm they check us in and was seated right away. Our server was very nice. Cant remember his name but he had a sweet voice with glasses. He cleared our tables made sure we had full water glass. Thats 1 thing I really admire about a restaurant. Making sure our water is always filled. Food was phenomenal like 10 out of 10 delicious. Although the spicy wonton had a tingling sensation on our tongues, definitely spicy but delicious. The place was beautiful! Giving lounge and comfort instead of an everyday usually restaurant seats. These were very comfy and stylish. Didnt wanna leave. Overall we left full and happy!

JING is decadent, bougie, and clearly a trendy new spot! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the service has been slow and the prices are a bit overinflated even for a nicer high end spot. Stuff that I would absolutely recommend are the Wagyu sliders and the tuna pizza! Their HH from 3-6 is pretty legit but the drinks aren't really marked down that much. Love the martini options as well as the old fashioned. Something else worth noting is the wine bottles also are on HH prices! Would recommend for a fancy evening out if you don't mind dropping some cash!

First time at Jing. I will have to say it was pretty lively inside. I loved the option of valet or parking your car. I love restaurants with outdoor parking options. For our appetizers we got the Wagyu boa sliders and short rib dumplings. The short rib dumplings were amazing! Short ribs were really tastefully seasoned. The boa were a let down, it barely had any salt or seasoning. They need to season the Wagyu beef sliders. The black miso cod was tasteful but i felt like the cut was small. The garlic noodles were really good. One of the best sides. The mojitos and dessert I enjoyed. I think Jing has a great menu, items on their menu will always be a hit. The dumplings and their garlic noodles are for sure those in my opinion. Their service is really great as well, minimal wait with everything.

Went here on a whim with a friend because it was near the air bnb.. atmosphere is incredible. Very elevated and still fun. The service was excellent and our waitress made good recommendations.. the steak was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful and unique smoky flavor. The happy spoons had a great presentation. The mushrooms were amazingly flavored and there was a good variety. I would definitely go back! Great place for a late dinner!

Amazing ambiance, fantastic drinks, and even better food to top it all off. Service was super friendly and helpful. We came for their restaurant week since it's a great time to try out what restaurants have to offer, and Jing did not disappoint. I think my brother fell in love with the tenderloins, and my short rib was also just as good. I'll definitely be coming back here, especially for the bao

Butter cake with vanilla ice cream

Went to Jing over July 4th weekend with friends and had a great dining experience. We started with the tuna pizza and short rib dumplings as appetizers, and both were excellent. The tuna pizza was fresh and flavorful, while the short rib dumplings were rich and perfectly prepared. For my entrée, I ordered the miso cod, which was outstanding. The fish was flaky, moist, and cooked perfectly, with a delicious miso glaze that complemented it well. For dessert, we had the butter cake served with vanilla ice cream. The wait staff all recommended that we try it. The cake was warm, buttery, and satisfying, and the ice cream was a great addition. Overall, the food was delicious from start to finish, and every dish was well executed. The wait staff was attentive. I would definitely return and recommend Jing to anyone looking for a great meal.

Ate here for our anniversary dinner and could not have been happier with our experience. Everything was 5/5- food, ambiance and especially the service!! We had Chad as our server and he made the entire evening so memorable for us. There was a hiccup with our hot stone not being hot enough to sear our wagyu not just once, but twice and it could have made for a sour experience but he was so apologetic and we were all able to laugh about it. Not to mention, as we were discussing desserts and trying to decide between two different ones, he overheard us and brought both desserts on the house to make up for the mishap. We would have been happy regardless of that but it was the cherry on top for us. As for the food, everything was so good!! We got the Hamachi crunch roll, rock tempura shrimp, spicy wontons (all off the happy hour menu) as well as the lobster fried rice and the wagyu on the rock. We loved every single thing we got but the lobster rice was probably the favorite. It was such a highlight of our trip and we cannot wait to go back! Worth every penny in my opinion

The service and ambiance were wonderful! I loved the decor and vibes so much!! Such a trendy place. Even though it's kind of in a random plaza if made for easy parking! The food was decent. The dumplings were such smaller than I expected. I wasn't necessarily stunned with any of the dishes in particular. However the presentation of the dishes were beautiful!! I was really impressed with the vibes service and presentation. Maybe food wise I just need to come back and try other dishes to bring it upto a 5!

Came for restaurant week for a 4 pm Friday reservation. Impressed! The place was busy, glad we had a reservation. Happy hour was running so we enjoyed drink deals. The spicy wontons were delicious, the short rib dumplings were outstanding, and our entrees of the cod and tenderloin were yummy. We also had edamame and tuna pizza. Finally, we were treated to a birthday butter cake for my husband's 35th! Our server Chad was lovely, and accommodating for our toddler. The manager also checked in on us to ensure we enjoyed our evening. The decor and vibe inside is super cute and well done. All around, 10/10, would recommend for a fun happy hour or evening out!

Went today for the first time. Wait staff was attentive and vibes were great. Beautiful place and love the layout. The Miso Black Cod and crispy sesame chicken were so good. Brussel sprouts were incredible. Sushi tuna pizza was different. The butter cake melts in your mouth!

Came for the restaurant week's lunch. Ordered the tuna pizza as well as the mongolian beef. The tuna pizza was fantastic. Lot of flavors on something so petite. Liked the deep fried capers with a hint of truffle oil providing an interesting touch. Cardinal sin/misses: The rice was raw and had several hard grains. There was a lingering taste of rancid in their wok hei, meaning that they either used old/reused oil or did not clean their equipment well. The cocktail drinks looked well made but I did not partake. I did see the waitress sample the drinks she was taking by double dipping a straw in the drinks.

I absolutely love this place! I came here with my friend to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a great choice. This is such elegant and hip spot, from the lighting to the DJ to the ambience and incredible food! Servers were very attentive. Coming here is an experience that's definitely worth having!

For apps we got the lamb fondue which was super tender and unique. Dipping meet in cheese? Literally nothing better. Then we also got the green chili pork stew which is a MUST try! Not too spicy and full of flavor. Also, great for sharing as you fill it in the buttery tortillas. The filet was seriously one of the best I've ever had in Arizona. It has a nice shallot butter crust and it was cooked PERFECTLY medium rare. This was a highlight. The pork chop is huge and has a nice sweetness to it. The meat wasn't dry either...it pretty much tasted like the best bacon I've ever had LOL Everyone must get the green chili Mac n cheese. Not spicy at all just Smokey and tangy and full of cheese but shockingly not that heavy. The pecan pie was unreal. Gooey and sweet but the crust was still super flakey. Their known for their frozen huckleberry margarita which is a treat in its own but it's not too icey they definitely don't skip out on the tequila. Rachel was our server. She's been there for awhile so you know that they treat their staff well. She was super knowledgeable and honest about certain menu items. I also spoke with the manager, Matt, who was very welcoming and seemed very proud of his restaurant (as he should be). Overall highly reccomend it here. Everything exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely be returning!

The host told us that there was open seating along the wall or under cover outside. Since the wall was full, we ventured outside near the cooler. We were given water right away but didn't even see a server, Jessica, for 12 mins. We even had to ask her for menus. It was a very awkward start. My wife ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon and a Caesar salad, plus wine while I got the 22 ounce Ribeye and a side of Poblano and PepperJack Grits, plus an iced tea. It all came to $137.11 plus tip. Our salad arrived in 8 minutes and our dinner 10 mins later. The salad was outstanding. Plenty of romaine, dressed with the right amount of dressing, 3-4 croutons and a mound of shaved Parmesan cheese. The salmon was really good, served with sautéed green beans and soy butter. My steak was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned well and the grits were incredible. They were creamy, with pronounced poblano and Jack cheese. It was the perfect accompaniment. Jessica did a great job checking in on us during our meal but, again, it was awkward waiting 15 mins for her to offer dessert and check. We will return but perhaps not during happy hour, when it's very busy but the evening staff hasn't arrived yet.

We kicked things off with a complimentary prickly pear vodka cocktail (delicious) paired with a comp app -- looks like they rotate these, and I got hummus with crudite and crackers. During the meal, there were 2 standout dishes that made this memorable. - Hamachi Crudo: THE BEST crudo I have ever had. They switch up the dressing regularly, but whatever they put on mine was unforgettable - 10 oz Wagyu Strip: solid steak, but nothing "Wagyu" tasting. It didn't have that melt-in-your-mouth fatty richness I was hoping for from wagyu and was slightly chewy. - Scallops: tender! - Asparagus: came with a creamy sauce which was a great touch - Chocolate Espresso Mousse Cake: MAGICAL. Layered, with crunchy pralines and vanilla ice cream. If you've had the chocolate hazelnut cake at Carbone, this gave me major similar vibes... that good! Will absolutely be back to try a different cut of steak and also the loaded baked potato. The ambience alone is worth the trip, but the crudo and that cake are what's going to stick with me.

Some of the standout items for us were the mocktails and the pasta. The Pillows of Love pasta absolutely lived up to the hype and was one of the highlights of the meal. We also enjoyed the mac and cheese, mushrooms, steak, and seafood. Everything was beautifully prepared, high quality, and worthy of the restaurant's reputation. If I had one minor critique, it would be the king crab legs. They are char-grilled, which gives them a smoky flavor that wasn't quite our personal preference. That said, the quality of the crab itself was excellent, and it's more a matter of taste than a criticism of the preparation. The atmosphere made for a perfect birthday dinner--upscale, energetic, and memorable without feeling stuffy. Combined with outstanding food and attentive service, it made for a special evening that my wife and I won't forget. The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal.
