That immediately made us smile and we were touched at the kind detail. The food was immaculate. They truly serve the best salmon I've ever had. Although my boyfriend enjoyed his short rib, he said he liked my salmon the best! Miso salmon - 13/10. SO SOFT and buttery. It had a really luxurious taste and texture to it, and the sauce it was paired with truly took it to the next level. I'll be dreaming of this salmon for years to come Dragonfruit sorbet - 9/10. Overall was a great night but some things weren't worth it in my opinion. Personally feel like their menu is a little over priced for what you receive. Also had a mishap at the end of our evening that had to do with our birthday desserts we ordered. Before going, know that there is convenient valet and self park that can be validated upon departure. Also I do advise you please read the dress code, which clearly states no shorts and to arrive in smart casual attire and you also only have around 90 min to dine. The ambiance is very nice, loved the r&b playlist they had going on, you don't hear that type of music much at fine dining restaurants but it was a nice touch. The restaurants decor is absolutely stunning and great for photos & any type of celebration or date night. Our server was kind and had great recommendations. We started off with the Asian Caesar salad which was actually very refreshing and yummy. I had the wagyu stir fry which was amazing and as our sides got the mashed potatoes and pork belly fried rice. I would skip the fried rice for $23 it's expensive for no reason - extremely small portion for the price, should've just asked for a side of white rice instead. However the mashed potatoes were so good!! Our evening concluded with two desserts that we initially thought one would've been comped because we were celebrating a birthday but we paid for both and they sent us out a complementary shot instead which was a nice gesture. I would skip the ube cheesecake, very plain and no hint of ube in my opinion which bummed me out. It's my favorite flavor. The banana blondie was delicious but for my friend's birthday she got a brunette. It was so burnt that we joked we needed steak knives to cut into it... I'm surprised no staff noticed and it still hit our table! I did notify our server and she did go back and get us a new one, she mentioned her pastry chef wasn't working that night and the executive chef sent it out... The new one tasted like a completely different dessert. Just kind of threw off the whole evening ending it on that note, we were understanding as it does happen but at a place like this it shouldn't. They add an automatic gratuity to the bill. 18% on parties 5 or less and 20% for 6 or more. Our server did tell us this and we did also read it at the bottom of their menu. Such an amazing spot for a birthday celebration! The vibes were great, the service was on point, and everything we ordered was delicious. The Old Fashioned and Moscow Mule were both really good. The oysters were super fresh, but the yellowtail crudo was definitely my favorite appetizer. The sushi roll was also the perfect bite. It is definitely one of the vibier spots and very instagrammable, however the price to portion ratio is off and the flavors just don't justify the price either. Drinks are pretty much upwards of $20+ but they are good. I got one with Yuzu at our servers recommendation and really enjoyed it. I got an app (wagyu tartare) and the miso salmon for an entree. The wagyu tartare was 3 teeny bites and it was good but nothing that outdoes Uppercut in DT PHX. Miso salmon was honestly something I could cook at home for much less of the price. One of my friends got the short rib entree and it had 3 pieces of asparagus, just to give an idea of portions. The initial walk-in experience was great. The restaurant is very pretty inside and definitely has an upscale ambiance. We came at a good time because there was only one other party in the restaurant. Since we were drawn to the ambiance, we started taking a few photos. Shortly after, the manager let us know that flash photography wasn't allowed. It was a little disappointing considering the restaurant was nearly empty, and we made sure the other guests weren't in the background of any of our photos. Our server, however, was great and very friendly throughout our experience. For drinks, we ordered the Mai Passion with vodka and the Lychee Blossom. Both were good and went down very easily, but they weren't very strong considering the price. For food, we ordered the Wagyu Lettuce Cups with Australian Wagyu, pickled onion, sweet and sour sauce, and romaine, as well as the Braised Wagyu Short Rib with asparagus and short rib jus. The lettuce cups were okay, very light and easy to eat. The short rib was tender and flavorful, although mine was a little fatty. The biggest downside with the food was the portion sizes. They were significantly smaller than I expected, especially for the price. If you're looking for a higher-end dining experience with larger portions, I personally prefer Dominick's. We were also celebrating a birthday. They do provide a birthday dessert, which was a nice touch, but you don't get to choose the dessert and the portion is very small. After dinner, since we weren't able to take the photos we wanted inside, we went out to the patio to take a few before leaving. We were then told we couldn't take them on the patio either, which added to the disappointment. Overall, I wasn't super fond of the experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, our server was great, and the food was good, but between the pricing, small portions, and photography restrictions, there are other high-end restaurants in the area where I've had a better overall experience. Worth the hype and definitely one of my all-time favorite restaurant week visits, it's like finding a little Las Vegas vibe in the middle of Tempe/Scottsdale! I took pictures and videos of the visual decor but I also don't wanna post too much because this place is worth the visit and part of that is the atmosphere. The service was top notch! Amanda F was our server and we absolutely loved her, she was knowledgeable and very attentive to us - she cleared our table of crumbs a few times and was respectful when coming over to put down new table settings. There was always someone walking around filling up water glasses! The food itself was a delight - my friend had the steak entree while I had the hamburger (pro tip from Amanda F - in order to try all 3 appetizers, we ordered the whipped edamame and the salad then my entree came with truffle fries, voila! All 3 apps. The burger was excellent, the pickled onions were probably one of my favorite parts and it was cooked to perfection. It was also pretty big so I ended up cutting it in half and taking the other half home where my husband proceeded to devour it before I even had time to wipe off my makeup! I decided to try this restaurant during Arizona Restaurant Week after seeing the 3-course meal offered for $55. If you order this 3-course "meal," be prepared to stop for a pizza on your way home. Our server told us the portions would be smaller, though this was not stated on the online menu posted by the restaurant. The whipped edamame app was just enough. The salmon "entree" was an inadequate 2 ounces served with a few green beans. The dessert was three small bites. The wine menu prices were 25% higher than what I pay at similar restaurants. An 18% gratuity was added for our party of 4. The restaurant was decorated with a few artificial sakura trees and dark velvet booths. There is a gigantic screen on one side of the restaurant that changes its display periodically. The music was loud and did not match the classy vibe of the dress code or decor. This arrives covered and when it's brought out, they remove the cover and pour the ponzu on it while it's smoking. Very cool to watch. The dish tasted good as well, very fresh and no fishy taste at all. We also got the roasted bone marrow and I have to stay, I was a bit underwhelmed. I'm used to fatty, rich, salty, you-know-it's-bad-for-your-heart-but-it's-a-good-treat-once-in-a-while kind of bone marrow. This was still good but didn't give me that guilty pleasure feeling I was hoping for. For entrees we ordered the 16 oz ribeye with Alaskan king crab Oscar and lobster garlic noodles, with risotto and Brussels sprouts as the sides. The ribeye was perfect and the king crab Oscar had nice crab chunks. Together it was a little too rich for me to eat a lot but it was very tasty! The lobster garlic noodles were pretty good, and there was a good amount of lobster on top. We don't usually eat noodles/pasta often but I would order this again. I'm not sure if we got the risotto we ordered (I wanted the truffle risotto but this one didn't taste like it had truffle and was more pricey, however there was only one risotto on the menu so it might be same). It tasted pretty good and was cooked well, and I enjoyed the mushrooms. The Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly and I would definitely get those again. Tender inside with a nice flavorful crisp on the outside. We were given a complimentary smaller portion of their white chocolate bread pudding and although we were STUFFED, we finished it lol. The ambiance is fun, but if you're trying to have long conversations, this might not be the best spot. We started with the smoked Ahi Tuna Crudo. The presentation was great, but flavor-wise, it was fine. I'd skip it next time. For entrees, we tried the Chilean Sea Bass, Wagyu Fried Rice, and the Lobster Udon Carbonara. The sea bass was cooked well and the plate came together nicely, but overall it was pretty standard for me. The wagyu fried rice tasted like regular fried rice with wagyu on top. Good, but not as fancy as it sounds. Between the two, I liked the fried rice more. The Lobster Udon Carbonara missed the mark for me. It was rich, which is normal for carbonara, but the balance felt off. The sauce was heavy compared to the amount of udon, so the whole dish leaned a bit too decadent. I don't feel like it was made clear enough upfront, and with the prices already being on the higher end, the additional gratuity was frustrating. The parking situation was also terrible and made the overall experience less enjoyable. Another disappointment was that they don't offer a complimentary birthday dessert. For the prices you're paying, I expected at least a small birthday gesture. Overall, the ambiance is nice and makes for a pretty setting, but for the price, I expected much better food, drinks, and overall service. The price is exorbitant and quite crazy honestly. Service? Forget about it, they don't even try because they automatically add the 18% tip even though we got crap service. My friend ordered beer and her beer had hair in it. The manager came and took it off our tab, no other comments. I guess if I was asked if this was worth it, absolutely not. We called it, the "adult Rainforest cafe". Edit: I forgot to mention that yes we did come for restaurant week. Came back after they invited us back for a redo! There's so much I want to say, but I'll try to keep it as short as possible. We were seated in the main dining area of the restaurant. Last time we were by the windows, but being in the middle was a much more pleasant experience. The window is fine, but there's just not much of a view, so sitting in the middle of the room gave us more of a chance to observe the beautiful space. This time we started off with the Braised Wagyu Short Rib Tacos, and one thing I'll say is that the presentation is AMAZING! The tacos were delicious and very light to start with. There are only two of them, so only get them if you know what you want your entrée to be right away or else definitely get another appetizer to pair with it. For our entrées, we had Coal Roasted Truffle Chicken and the Filet Mignon. The chicken was VERY filling and, in my opinion, better than the dragon beef and short rib I had before. My bf also loved his meal as well. What I really, really want to dive into is the hospitality of this place. Not sure about anyone else, but lately it seems restaurants are more about the aesthetics rather than focusing on the hospitality aspect. I can't explain how much this restaurant LISTENS, and they appreciate customer feedback. They didn't take what I said as rude, but as an opportunity to improve and I am beyond impressed. Just based on that alone, I think this is A PLACE YOU NEED TO TRY! I think when customers spend hundreds of dollars at your restaurant having a taste of something shouldn't be an issue. If I could give a half star that would be the reason. Came here for my boyfriend's birthday to enjoy some happy hour as we've had 333 at the top of our foodie wish list forever. Everything down to 333's stunning cherry blossom dreams vibe, the impeccable service, and modern day Asian fusion food I would say this place is a 10/10. I was thoroughly impressed with our waiter - Austin. He took really great care of us. He was very personable, charismatic, and is the definition of great customer service. Loved our little cocktail presentation/shows. We arrived at 4pm and took pictures inside this gorgeous restaurant. The bar seating is open so I was very very impressed that our waiter knew it was a birthday celebration. I did note it in the reservation but we did not vocally tell anyone. The food was delectable! I love how this restaurant was accommodating to me asking if it was possoble for no garlic on their fries. Our waiter went to go ask the kitchen and he said it was no problem at all. My favorite was the tempura chicken - crisp, tender, and flavorful. The fries came out hot and fresh with a nice texture, the steak wraps were delicious, and the bread pudding was on point. I would definitely come back again and ask for Austin. This is by far my new favorite spot. Thank you three thirty three for a wonderful experience and for making my boyfriend's birthday amazing. We had such an amazing time celebrating our daughter's 21st bday here with the fam! They made my daughter's 21st bday memorable, thanks to our waiter, Austin and the rest of the staff! We were in absolute awe with the food, service and ambiance! Everything was perfect. Be prepared to break the bank though, worth the splurge on special occasions. read more

My friends and I came to this restaurant to celebrate her birthday. The hostess were super welcoming and we were seated right away. It was so cute above the kitchen they have these screens that are changing and moody with amazing visuals we were seated right next to the dj an didn't realize it till halfway through dinner. The food was amazing I ordered the sea bass very light and the wagyu was so tender and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the green beans and the Wagyu fried rice. Definitely recommend both of these along with the lychee blossom, dangerously delicious. read more

Updated review-- 7 months after my first visit. I think it's a solid 4 stars, and now they offer a happy hour menu. My advice to try 333 is come in for happy hour and see if you would like to come back for the full dinner menu, but definitely get in there for HH. Read more for details-- 7 months ago I had reviewed this place as 5 stars initially, but that was when they were new and still opening. There was a lot of hype at that time and it was impressive on my first visit. There were live saxophone players and dancers in the building. It was quite the scene. They had the door man, live DJ in the main dining room, and free valet parking so it all was giving a luxury date night out experience (with luxury prices to match, it was pricey). Fast forward to now, since we live very close by we've come in a few times since that first visit to see how things are settling in, and the main issue with this place is inconsistent service and the price/ location. The full dinner menu is on the pricey side which if coming for a special occasion is fine, however from what I can tell I don't think 333 really has many regulars or repeat visits. At least not during the week, maybe its busy time is weekends? Anyway, it just hasn't been busy any time I've been there besides that first time. Also, for the cost of the regular menu the service should be spot on. This recent visit to the bar for HH was awesome, bartender Angel is an angel. Perfect service and great cocktails. He is great at his job. However the visit prior, we felt a bit neglected in the corner of an empty bar. I said months ago that this place needs a happy hour menu to bring in repeat customers who aren't looking to break the bank on dinner. They now have that menu! It's 4-6pm daily. And it's a solid happy hour menu. We tried all 4 cocktails on it. Much improved drinks compared to the last visit. I really liked all 4- old fashioned, marg, lychee martini, and dirty martini. For food items we split between 3 ppl- oysters, dynamite shrimp, shrimp ceviche, and garlic fries. Best thing was the dynamite shrimp! I would get that again. And they have a burger I would try on HH menu. All in all, this place wants so badly to be a "Scottsdale type" restaurant, with that type of clientele and money-- but I'm sorry the builders picked a location that won't match that. It's literally across Tempe Town Lake from ASU. This is prime college area and this restaurant doesn't really fit here. But offering a happy hour menu is a good start, a needed offering, because we noticed on our additional visits we came in it was generally a slow/ not busy restaurant. I'll definitely come back during happy hour and try the burger and enjoy some cocktails. And if when I return I get consistent, excellent service then I can give back that 5th star. I went to Three Thirty Three for the first time last month. I am already planning my next visit there. The ambiance is everything at this place! The only thing I didn't like is how dimly lit it was. I enjoyed the black tiger shrimp tempura. I had never eaten shrimp this big. The wagyu fried rice was so delicious. I wish the portion size was a little bigger. I will definitely order it again. The pink dragon drink was fancy and sweet. The big screen was an attention grabber and I like how they change it to show different things. Highly recommend for a girls night out, date night or celebration dinner. It's the perfect place to get dressed up and enjoy a delicious dinner. read more
