Service is as really nice! But the food was not, the fries tastes as if it was just a French fry shape of fried grease The lemonade &corn bread was good though, super packed in there

I love coming here during the week. They have a great special for 20$ and it comes with a fountain drink. I get the seafood boil it comes with shrimp, crab and a corn, potato. As for the sauce I get the trifecta hot. I crave this meal once a week. So when my friends are free we will go! They have other great deals as well. The service is amazing. The ambiance is perfect.

Angry Crab Shack is bringing Bold Flavor Summer Deals won't last long.... I will definitely be back for this summer dish. Along with the Korean wings

My friend was feeling like a baller and craving a seafood boil, so off to Angry Crab Shack we went! Now, full transparency--I'm not a seafood girlie but I still tagged along to see what non-seafood options they had to offer and try it out. This location sits in a busy plaza, and while it wasn't fully packed, it was clearly the night to go--there were lots of birthdays being celebrated (including my friend's!). The staff was super friendly and asked if we were celebrating anything right when we sat down. We were seated toward the back, and later on a manager even came by to check in on us, which was really nice. For my drink, I kept it cute and simple with a blackberry lemonade--so refreshing, especially in this Arizona heat (even in the evening, it's no joke). I ordered the Catfish Basket: southern-style, lightly breaded catfish with Cajun fries and grits on the side. Everything looked appetizing and definitely photo-worthy when it came out. The remoulade was nice, but I'm a hot sauce girl at heart, so I made the switch midway. The Cajun fries were seasoned well and super tasty. As for the grits... they missed the mark for me. The texture reminded me more of mashed potatoes, and I'm a bit picky when it comes to my grits, so that might just be personal taste. Now for the fun part, birthday dessert! The server hyped up my friend's celebration with a loud announcement and even a horn (lol), then handed her a menu to pick out a treat. She chose the brownie: warm, fudgy, topped with ice cream and chocolate syrup. We thought we were full... but one bite in and we were done for. Moist, rich, and we absolutely devoured (I hope no one was watching us inhale it). Overall, solid experience. The staff was great, the food was satisfying, and I wouldn't mind coming back to try more menu items--especially those cocktails that caught my eye. Seafood girlie or not, there's something here for everyone!

Have not been to the Angry Crab location before, but we really enjoyed it. Got seated right away on a Thursday dinner and our server quickly reviewed the menu and got our drink orders plus she recommended the shrimp cocktail appitizer for Happy Hour, so we got one - and drinks and thevapp came out right away. Once grandson had the kids popcorn shrimp and he ate it all. My older grandson had the adults fried shrimp platter, and also loved it. My wife had the grilled shrimp bowl with noodles and it was flavorful and plenty to eat. I love shrimp and grits so I had to try theirs. The grits were cheesy and creamy (which is good) and the shrimp and sauce was delicious, I just wish there were a few more shrimp. Great meal in a great atmosphere with excellent service. Definitely would go back.

20th Anniversary Lunch... Gotta get it in where we can fit it in... Busy Life!!! We were in the mood for what has been 10+ years of coming here (based on our kids age) New items of choice were the Lobster Crostini & charbroiled oysters... an excellent choice to start along with a few cocktails. Went the usual route with Dungeness crab clusters...Trifecta/Mild & medium, claims & 2 Lbs of Blue mussels! Giving 4 starts as the Trifecta sauce wasn't consistent for us... it was missing something.. Still good, but inconsistent. Still coming back as it was NOT a deal breaker and the customer service is always great!!

First of all..... amazing staff..... great personality.... fun..... attentive.....5 stars right there! The food was delicious we enjoyed everything from the burgers to the seafood . The Margaritas were great too. We ate glad you have a lunch menu. We ate off on Wednesdays and this is our new family lunch spot. We can miss the weekend rush. Keep up the great work.

One of my favorite places in the area. Their trifecta sauce is out of this world!- It is spicy, tangy, rich but not overwhelming the flavors of the seafood. Gumbo fries are delicious or you can get them tossed in the trifecta sauce. Good selection for drinks as well. The staff is friendly and attentive despite always being so busy. Definitely a must try!

Head Off Shrimp with added mussels and three potatoes. Trifecta sauce medium
    Eddie B.

I went with the fried shrimp basket with Cajun fries and beans and rice. My girl went with the 1 pound head off shrimp boil with some added mussels and trifecta sauce in medium. The shrimp boil was very good with just enough kick, and it made her nose a little runny. The fried shrimp was nice big sized but the Cajun fries seemed to be a little NOT Cajun but they were still good. Beans and rice were as expected. The one thing I would say and why I left this at a four star is because the amount of cocktail sauce that was given for the 6 large pieces of shrimp was lacking with only one small cup of 3/4 to 1 once of the sauce. I should mention we ordered our food to go but while I was there picking up, I could tell it was a cool vibe both inside the dinning area, as well as outside on the patio. Overall a really good experience and every team member was nice and all offered help. Of o could have scored a half star, this would have been a 4 and a 1/2 star had I been able to do so.

Angry crab has an awesome lunch special 10 bucks for half pound shrimp boil with corn and potato I added in sausage with a side of sauce

Spice level was medium and went with the 88 Special seasoning (a combination of cajun, garlic butter, and lemon pepper) - AMAZING flavor!! This place looked like it did a good seafood boil and was located near where our hotel was. Upon entering we were greeted and sat right away. He ordered a shrimp basket while I ordered my usual snow crab. Heads up, all the supplies will be brought in the bottom of the discard bucket like gloves, lemons, and crab crackers. I wasn't aware of this, and placed all the discarded items on top of it while eating bareheaded as I didn't see supplies, and no one was around to ask. Usually places will bring on the side, and I wish I was told that in advance when it was brought to the table. It made for quite the mess, but if we return I'll know for next time. Once our server returned to check in after 10+ minutes that's when we were advised, and I adjusted though I had put my boil bag in there so most had been soiled. As for the food, he liked his shrimp while I thought the crab was okay in flavor/spice. It didn't really standout out like other places I've been to recently, but overall I would return if I was in the area.

Companion and I arrived at 5:45 and were seated promptly. Our server Nikki brought menus and took our drink orders. We started off with Calamari. It was perfectly cooked and came with 2 sauces that I have never had served with it before. One was MaPloi, and the other was an aioli that was nicely spicey. The portion was large and unfortunately, we couldn't finish it. Companion ordered Fish & Chips. A nice sized portion of cod, perfectly fried. Unfortunately, the chips were not fried the way companion asked for them and most of them were left on the plate. For myself, I ordered the Scallop & Shrimp Combo which came with nicely prepared brussel sprouts which were grilled and then had balsamic vinegar over them. I also ordered the char broiled zucchini, which I did not care for and left most of it on my plate. On to desserts! Desserts are prepared in house and not from the outside. Companion ordered Bread Pudding. Sliced from a loaf and served with a Jack Daniels Whiskey sauce and a ball of vanilla ice cream. Companion was so full that it was not finished but not before declaring it to be delicious. I ordered the Butter Cake. A delicious cupcake sized portion tasting deeply of butter, served with whipped cream, berries, and topped with vanilla ice cream. Once again, the portion was so big that I could only eat half of it. As one might expect in a restaurant of this caliber, it was squeaky clean. Service was efficient and almost all of the food was prepared as ordered. 5 stars
