Service is as really nice! But the food was not, the fries tastes as if it was just a French fry shape of fried grease The lemonade &corn bread was good though, super packed in there

This location gets very busy. Large parties and they were short staffed when we went. Our order took about 45 mins.

I love coming here during the week. They have a great special for 20$ and it comes with a fountain drink. I get the seafood boil it comes with shrimp, crab and a corn, potato. As for the sauce I get the trifecta hot. I crave this meal once a week. So when my friends are free we will go! They have other great deals as well. The service is amazing. The ambiance is perfect.

My friend was feeling like a baller and craving a seafood boil, so off to Angry Crab Shack we went! Now, full transparency--I'm not a seafood girlie but I still tagged along to see what non-seafood options they had to offer and try it out. This location sits in a busy plaza, and while it wasn't fully packed, it was clearly the night to go--there were lots of birthdays being celebrated (including my friend's!). The staff was super friendly and asked if we were celebrating anything right when we sat down. We were seated toward the back, and later on a manager even came by to check in on us, which was really nice. For my drink, I kept it cute and simple with a blackberry lemonade--so refreshing, especially in this Arizona heat (even in the evening, it's no joke). I ordered the Catfish Basket: southern-style, lightly breaded catfish with Cajun fries and grits on the side. Everything looked appetizing and definitely photo-worthy when it came out. The remoulade was nice, but I'm a hot sauce girl at heart, so I made the switch midway. The Cajun fries were seasoned well and super tasty. As for the grits... they missed the mark for me. The texture reminded me more of mashed potatoes, and I'm a bit picky when it comes to my grits, so that might just be personal taste. Now for the fun part, birthday dessert! The server hyped up my friend's celebration with a loud announcement and even a horn (lol), then handed her a menu to pick out a treat. She chose the brownie: warm, fudgy, topped with ice cream and chocolate syrup. We thought we were full... but one bite in and we were done for. Moist, rich, and we absolutely devoured (I hope no one was watching us inhale it). Overall, solid experience. The staff was great, the food was satisfying, and I wouldn't mind coming back to try more menu items--especially those cocktails that caught my eye. Seafood girlie or not, there's something here for everyone!

This is the best place to get some great seafood and bring your family along. It definitely has that coastal vibe inside makes you feel like you're about to enjoy some delicious seafood on the shore. The servers are extremely welcoming and are very eager to make some great recommendations. I definitely recommend this for the whole family because it's a place where you know that the eating is gonna get messy and they're prepared for that but I also love that the prices aren't that steep and everyone has a good time plus, it's also a great place to spend your birthday

BONNIE, we will be back for YOU and the food 10 out of 10, the food was so amazing! We ended up coming during the lunchtime which made the food half the price! We got a crab and shrimp bundle. That's normally $35 for 20! We were able to easily add on sausages, extra corn, potatoes, different sauces, hard-boiled eggs, and more! They even had a side of lo mein noodles. We tried on the side. Definitely recommend this location, especially because they actually debate their shrimp. I am not trying to eat any poo Shout out to the chefs to the creators of this place seasoning is on point! My boyfriend did say number three isn't as spicy. There is tons of seating in here, indoor and outdoor and they celebrate birthdays!

Have not been to the Angry Crab location before, but we really enjoyed it. Got seated right away on a Thursday dinner and our server quickly reviewed the menu and got our drink orders plus she recommended the shrimp cocktail appitizer for Happy Hour, so we got one - and drinks and thevapp came out right away. Once grandson had the kids popcorn shrimp and he ate it all. My older grandson had the adults fried shrimp platter, and also loved it. My wife had the grilled shrimp bowl with noodles and it was flavorful and plenty to eat. I love shrimp and grits so I had to try theirs. The grits were cheesy and creamy (which is good) and the shrimp and sauce was delicious, I just wish there were a few more shrimp. Great meal in a great atmosphere with excellent service. Definitely would go back.

20th Anniversary Lunch... Gotta get it in where we can fit it in... Busy Life!!! We were in the mood for what has been 10+ years of coming here (based on our kids age) New items of choice were the Lobster Crostini & charbroiled oysters... an excellent choice to start along with a few cocktails. Went the usual route with Dungeness crab clusters...Trifecta/Mild & medium, claims & 2 Lbs of Blue mussels! Giving 4 starts as the Trifecta sauce wasn't consistent for us... it was missing something.. Still good, but inconsistent. Still coming back as it was NOT a deal breaker and the customer service is always great!!

He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Great service always makes a good dining experience even better. The manager also stopped by our table which always is always nice One of my favorite things about Cheddar's is that every meal starts with their complimentary Honey Butter Croissants. They are warm, flaky, buttery, and topped with a sweet honey glaze. They are absolutely delicious and such a nice touch. My husband ordered the Pain Killer (Pusser's Rum, cream of coconut, pineapple juice, orange juice, toasted coconut rim, and topped with nutmeg). It was refreshing, well-balanced, and one of the best tropical cocktails he's had in quite a while. For his entrée, he chose the Spasagna--a creative twist on lasagna with spaghetti layered with four cheeses, then baked and topped with homemade Alfredo and marinara sauces, served with garlic bread. He's Italian and can be pretty particular about Italian food, so the fact that he thoroughly enjoyed it says a lot. It was rich, cheesy, comforting, and full of flavor. My daughter and I both ordered the Monte Cristo, and it definitely did not disappoint. The sandwich was perfectly crispy on the outside with a delicious combination of ham, turkey, and cheese inside. Paired with the raspberry preserves, it hit that perfect balance of sweet and savory. By the end of the meal, we were completely full and had no room left for dessert--which just gives us another reason to come back. Cheddar's continues to offer generous portions, delicious food, and excellent service at a very reasonable price. We'll definitely be back.

The Chicken Sheng Jian Bao was good, but the breading a little thicker than I personally like. This felt more like a dessert with the sesame bottom. Good taste, just heavy. The plate also came with a small cup of teriyaki sauce and pineapple bbq sauce. The teriyaki sauce didn't have much flavor and the bbq sauce wasn't to my liking but it wasn't bad. This dish was better than the sandwich. She enjoyed it. There was a line but service was good and they are efficient and friendly.

6/6/26: Holy mackerel, what a treat! We applaud the staff at The Gilbert House for giving us such a…read moregreat experience, and highly recommend it. Parking: it looks to be severely limited but there is so much more parking to the east we had no problem finding a spot. Cocktails: boozy. :-) We ordered the Wake Up Call sans espresso, plus the brunch punch. I had to ask for an extra shot of cream because drinking so much bourbon & rum on an empty stomach got me a little fuzzy in the head. LOL! Never fear, the wonderful food soaked up the booze, the amount of water I downed helped, AND we walked around the area, as well as visiting the book store next door. Food: caramel roll, caprese omelet, California benedict. 100% delectable. Nothing was left on our plates. We would have licked them off if so many people weren't surrounding us, enjoying their meals. Ha ha! Staff: the ebullient gentleman welcoming us "warned" us about their fresh cinnamon rolls, saying they're large as a head, and though you could eat one alone, you may want to share. He was NOT kidding & yeah, we shared. Our server, Olivia, was so happy and chatty, she was extremely pleasant & attentive. We never felt neglected or ignored. The only hiccup to the visit was seeing some young chickee at another table suck on a vape. Luckily, that was mere minutes before we left, otherwise, we would have snitched on her. ;-)

6/23/26 My Tuesday ladies lunch group of 5 chose this restaurant on Tues 6/16. When we chose it…read moretheir listed hours were 7am-2pm. Apparently they switched to summer hours recently & now it closes at 1pm. It's a Women owned restaurant inside an olde cute building with 4 small rooms inside for dining. The food was good & our waitress was sweet but they really should provide a carafe of water on the table &/or provide larger water glasses. One of us almost always had an empty glass. We only saw 2 young ladies working (1 server & 1 waitress). Think with small improvements this would be a solid 4 restaurant. I knocked off 1 start for accessibility issues. There was 1 lady in my party that has a walker but luckily she was able to navigate in & out of the building without any major issues. The Parking & bathrooms are a bit of a walk & may be difficult for someone with disabilities. I only saw 1 handicapped parking space. Plus all but the handicapped space in the parking lot is just sand/gravel. There's only 1 door for customers & it's located at the very front of the building (closest to Gilbert Rd). Know that the ramp to get into the building is quite short & steep. Also, the bathrooms are shared by the buildings in the complex & located in a separate building located behind the restaurant. *The ladies bathroom was clean, had a baby changer, & AC. It has a nice sized patio that runs along the front & side of the building with shade, fans, & misters. Too hot for my group on a 100+ degree day in AZ. Think I'd enjoy sitting in that outdoor space when it's cooler.
