While celebrating Juneteenth, a lot of the lines for various vendors were so long that we decided to try our luck for a table of 4 here and got lucky, as we waited only 10mins before being seated. It was busy, so busy you could tell the staff was trying to do their best, but for us and quite a few tables, we were left feeling disappointed. As far as the food... unfortunately it was NOT as expected. It took longer than expected to hit our tables, and when it did, it was dry and not well seasoned. We had a variety of seafood bags with various spice levels and added items, but it was not good. Dry and bland were our claims & Dungeness crabs and the sausage were definitely overcooked. Getting refills was easy, as that's all that could be done, but getting all the condiments and other needed things was a challenge when our food came. HH portion were perfect because it came in half order and you really cant beat the price. I ordered a pound of crawfish and half a pound of shrimp with a corn, a potato, and a boiled egg in their house sauce with medium spice. I was pretty stuff for the amount I got, which was surprising. The sauce was great and the seafood were tasty. I could have gotten it a bit spicier but I'm glad I didnt because we ended up at a bar after eating. Service was great. And it took maybe 30 minutes for them to walk over to our table to see if we were ready to order, the girl claimed that she could not find her little tablet to take our order. Next drinks for the price that you're paying it should've had liquor in it . we all ordered something that was a little sweet cocktail that was completely watered down so we ended up with corona's, don't buy the drinks.. next. The way you order your bag is not something I'm accustomed to, but anyway they give you a lot of crawfish not that much shrimp and crabs are extra. Of course you have to pay extra to have the head taken off the shrimp and the sausages that they use. I'm not sure what that was. maybe a chicken beef pork blend but it definitely wasn't andouille and It wasn't all beef. It was definitely disgusting. Also, I ordered crab on the side since it doesn't come in their bag.. that was crazy. These people brought out everything and then 10 minutes later brought out our crap so we took what was laughing through our crap in the bag just unorganized.. we asked for the Cajun spice I believe and we want it on the spicy level so I can honestly say we had tomato paste with a bang to it because what you see in these two bags we took the majority of that home and it was just not what we're used to when you're getting seafood boil. Like I told my daughter there's the say hot and juicy crawfish. Food here was delicious!! We shared the Drool between two of us with another pound of clams. It was just enough, we ended up not eating the whole basket of calamari. We got the mild hot and juicy sauce, and we could definitely feel the heat by the end of the meal. My sinuses were cleaning up. Next time I'll get the baby spice. Those lemons came in handy to dilute the spice level. The only downside is the shrimp are pre-frozen so they were a little mushy but you're ordering seafood in the middle of the desert. The first time we came here was about 2 1/2 years ago and it was really good. We came here last year for my step daughter's birthday and the owners had completely checked out. Left the entire restraint with 3 employees and it not only took 1 1/2 hrs to get our food after we ordered it, but it was cold and some of the crab was still frozen. We didn't bother the poor kids who were clearly left to flounder by complaining or sending back our food at the time. We have not been back since, due to the poor management and lack of support for their employees we witnessed last year. It's a shame because the first experience was so good. So we stopped in Super Bowl weekend while walking around Mill avenue. Just by chance we say the sign and the word crawfish pulled me in.... Wasn't real busy on a Friday night at 9pm so it worked out pretty nicely. I ordered The Drool and the wife ordered a pound of clams. We both got the hot & juicy sauce, mild spice. The drool came with an order of Cajun calamari that were delicious. ( a little spicy) My boil came with a pound of crawfish ( previously frozen), pound of shrimp with heads on, half pound of crab legs, ton of sausage, 2 half ears of corn , and two small potatoes. The seasoning and taste were delicious. Lots of food in the bag. The heat on the mild was more like ordering hot seasoning somewhere else. But I was oaky with it. I would recommend going down a heat level or two to be on the safe side. Staff was very nice and food came out very quickly. I would recommend trying this place out. I came to hot n juicy because it was my grandson's girlfriend's birthday, I ordered a boil with shrimp -no heads the bad part about the shrimp is it is not deveined. One of my sides was steamed white rice but you don't get any kind of a sauce for the rice so it dry and tasteless. My corn on the cob was very good. read more

Seafood was not mushy like some other seafood boil places I've been to. It was a good amount between three people with small appetites. I'd recommend mild spice for people who can't handle spice. I like spice but the medium spice builds up. Price is not bad at all but I'd imagine it would add up if you got something more expensive like crab/lobster or if you have a bigger appetite. I love a seafood boil, and this place is the spot to go if you're in Tempe. The service is friendly and for seafood boil, the prices are amazing. The Drool is a must have. It comes with calamari, sausage, corn, potatoes, crab, crawfish, shrimp, all for around $70, and it's enough to send 3-4 people into a food coma. With it averaging about $20ish a person, it's a fantastic deal compared to other seafood boil spots. I've had friends get their po' boys and they are a big portion as well for $13. I have been coming to this location and order pretty much the same thing all the time. Today will be my last day eating at this location for the simple reason new management enforced policy that requires an id. This was not displayed or disclosed to patrons. It came as a shock because I did not carry my purse or wallet but just had my debit card to pay for my lunch meal. I am not sure when this changed and when asked did not get an answer but that we always ask for an ID. Is this for every patron? I wonder if all the tables that having lunch paid with a card and had to show ID. I don't appreciate her trying to appease the situation after I looked her in the eye and face and stated this is new, I've never been asked for an ID before. She proceeded to say We Always Ask For ID. This was a Blueface lie because I have NEVER been asked this in the many times I have an table for 1 to sit in and dine for over 3 years. What would happen if I did not have my work id that had my picture and complete name? She was hell in bent to get an ID when I told her I did not have my license. She then proceeded to hold my debit card as if she was trying to keep it. This was unacceptable behavior and I do not appreciate being held like I'm a thief. She in turn got loud where other patrons turned to look which seemed intentional. I am a professional so I was speaking in a low tone, it was if she suspected me to get ignorant with her. My bad for not carrying my ID, but this was unnecessary and clearly a power trip with whomever she was which was not my direct waitress. Who/what/why did she ask to take my payment after I asked for the receipt. For this, only paid the balance due, sorry to the waitress for not tipping. However, the lady actions, abruptness was unacceptable and irritated me. No regrets, I'm a huge crawfish fan and I've been to literally every local spot back home and none of them compare to here. Service was good, everyone here was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was spectacular, from the pricing to the sauce to the freshness of the meat... I'd prob skip the fresh oysters and the sausages tho. I was loyal customer and I ordered 3lbs of shrimp yesterday as carry out, I want show my friend who came out of the town to visiting me that this is my favorite food. I guess they finally found someone to get rid off their garbage shrimp. All the shrimps have black stain on it and it tasted totally mushy.I show up in the store next day with those pictures and ask for re-fund. I went here for my birthday last night. All things considered, it was a really bad day, but this place really turned things around! We got the drool- mild hot n juicy style- and it was great. The crab was outstanding. Our server, Justin, was beyond perfect. Very attentive, always there when we had questions or comments (not that we had many because he was so informative), and overall a delight to be in the presence of. Based on that experience alone, I'd say the customer service is great. If you go, I'd suggest asking for Justin!
