Another great experience at Le Ame! This round we tried a couple of new things. Everything was delicious! I had the skirt steak. Cooked, medium- rare to perfection. The char and spices on the steak make it one of my favorites. My friend had the filet mignon. Also cooked to perfection. You can tell they really choose the best cuts of meat. I had the Caesar salad. Which I just loved. And my friend had the French onion soup, which he is now claims is his favorite. And of course, we ordered the onion dip and caviar with chips. I could literally eat this appetizer for my dinner. It is so good! What I love about Le Ame and the global ambassador in general, is the attention to detail and the professional staff. Definitely deserves a 5/5! My wife and I came in for brunch and tried the Reuben sandwich and the Oscar Benedict. Delicious food across the board and the cocktails paired well. We tasted the French 75, Champagne for Breakfast, skinny margarita, and Parisian Spritz. Was a nice classy restaurant over all with nice decor. I've always been skeptical of restaurants in hotels/resorts, but Le Ame and Thea can easily stand alone. The BEST part of our experience was our server Jacob. Once we sat down he always addressed us by our party's name. He easily queued up drinks and anticipated our needs during our visit. He brought out a drink menu for our second round of drinks, he had garlic aioli and truffle aioli sauce as our mains were delivered, and he was overall attentive and professional. Came back here to celebrate my parent's 32nd anniversary and we had a great time! Since the weather was nice they had the door/ windows open to the outdoor patio and it was a beautiful view at sunset. The food was delicious here, we started with the tuna crudo (my favorite), the truffle Brie baguette, and the pork belly potstickers. Everything was great but the truffle Brie baguette was a little too overpowering and sweet for our liking, and a little messy but it was definitely still unique. I got an espresso martini and requested it with baileys, and when they brought it out, they had forgotten the baileys but remade it easily. I had the salmon for dinner which was perfectly buttery, and melted in your mouth, it was crispy on the outside and delicious. The truffle chicken was also super unique and flavorful, it comes on the bone and was super good. We got the duck fat hashbrowns which were also delicious and unique. Then we ended the night with a surprise dessert for my parent's anniversary which was super sweet. I went there on Tuesday for their new Steak frites special. While the steak was great the service was slow and the food took awhile. We sat at 8p after watching the sunset upstairs at Thea. We brought our almost finished drinks down like they said we could but didn't get offered another drink for over an hour. We ordered oysters to start and then the salad finally came out. Then when asked why our foods taking so long they just said it's the first week but could have communicated this without asking. I was getting a bit hangry cus I had waited to eat and then what upset me the most is the two people that were sitting behind us received their steak n fries first! I tried to politely complain since I did work in the industry but to not have anything done to apologize for the two hours it took for this whole experience was just a bit disappointing that I wouldn't recommend going there right now. Went to Le Ame for the first time to celebrate my anniversary. The restaurant has both a romantic vibe with the dim lighting but also a trendy vibe with the open kitchen. From beginning to end every one in the restaurant made our anniversary extra special. The hostess greated us, immediately wished us a happy anniversary, and gave us a card. Our server Anna was amazing. She really went above and beyond and made our anniversary extra special. She gave us complimentary bubbly to start our celebration. I ordered a casear salad and my boyfriend ordered the lobster bisque. Both were really good, but I was jealous I didn't go with the lobster bisque. You just have to walk in further and check in at the hostess desk that is wearing a red dress. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and pleasant but he did not check up on us at all. After ordering drinks which was a good 15 minutes, I had to ask if we can order our food. He kinda put me in a bad mood with his poor service. Food was absolutely divine! Must must try the appetizer truffled brie baguette! It was warm, gooey, savory, and the perfect amount of sweetness. Still dreaming about it! We ordered our mains from the grill menu. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare which was perfectly cooked and tender that it melted in my mouth. The truffle butter was the icing on the steak. My BF ordered the 20 oz bone in ribeye, not sure if it was worth $89. We also shared the grilled asparagus, it was okay for $16, but the truffle twice baked potato was drool worthy. At this price point I expected better food. It was still decent. My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner and the staff were so attentive, the food was absolutely amazing and the ambience was like no other. In fact, we were trying to think of a nicer atmosphere restaurant we have been to and couldn't think of any. Parking was a bit difficult, but there was valet so we just ended up doing that. I think it was $10. We made a reservation so we were able to get in pretty quickly. It was nice because everyone was dressed up nicely (there was a dress code); Which I very much appreciate. We went on a Saturday night and there was a live band playing in the bar just adjacent to the restaurant. Also, because it was our anniversary, they gave us a small card that said happy anniversary to us from the restaurant, an amuse-bouche which had several different flavors in it, including prosciutto, dates, honey, and a balsamic glaze, but it really worked together, and a gelato for dessert that was so creamy and delicious. I thought the bill was going to be pretty high but it was really on par with an upscale restaurant. We secured our reservation for a busy Saturday evening, a month beforehand and were able to enjoy a perfect double date night here. What a fabulous meal! We started off our lovely meal with the raw oysters as an appetizer, which came with all the delicious fixings. I'm not a huge oyster fan, but I always want to give dishes a try and they did not disappoint. My husband and I opted for the king crab bucatini and Dover sole with a side of the truffle baked potato and grilled asparagus. Honestly everything was so delicious and our service was fantastic. We didn't feel rushed and really got to sit and enjoy each other's company. One of the other awesome parts about eating here was that afterwards we were able to walk upstairs and check out the Ambassador's rooftop bar, which is a total vibe. Went to le Ame to celebrate my birthday with brunch. Really impressed with the food here. I took a picture of my prime rib dip but oddly it disappeared. Great service, everything was good but specifically these pancrepes are texturally and taste wise some of the best pancake category things I've had. The crème brule was the size of a football very good, but what I found most interesting was the French onion soup. It is not thyme heavy and I could not figure out what they use in it but it was very different. They use the same blend in the au jus for the dip which is spread with a horseradish blend and a butter bun. Second only to blue hound that I've had but CHEAPER. Really expensive for dinner by the way so I suggest brunch to try this place. Oh the valet is free if under 2 hours I think. read more

My husband had a milestone birthday over the weekend, so we decided to celebrate at Le Âme located inside The Global Ambassador Hotel. I made a reservation for Friday night at 7:30 pm a few weeks prior. I contacted the hotel number listed on Google on our way to the restaurant and spoke with an ambassador at The Global Ambassador Hotel to let them know we were running 15 minutes late. They kindly accommodated our delay, moving our reservation to 8:00 pm, which worked perfectly. We took an Uber that dropped us off at the entrance. There's valet and garage parking available, though. The hotel was bustling. We walked straight up to the the restaurant hostess stand and let them know we had a reservation. They informed us that they were running 10-15 minutes behind schedule and suggested enjoying a drink at either the restaurant's bar or the Lobby Bar while waiting. Unfortunately, both bars were crowded, and we couldn't place an order. Thankfully, we received a text shortly after notifying us that our table was ready. We were seated by the front windows, tucked in a corner, which I was thankful for since the lobby was loud. I made a note in the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and the first thing our wonderful server, Sabrea (if I remember correctly) did was wish my husband a happy birthday. We ordered the following: Espresso Martini $19 Au Poivre Martini $21 Half Dozen Oysters $24 Truffle Frites $16 Cacio E Pepe Caesar $17 New York Strip (12 oz) $69 Loup De Mer $44 Grilled Asparagus $16 Butter Whipped Potato $16 La Grande Creme Brulee $20 Oh my goodness. The experience exceeded our expectations. Every item was exceptional, from the cocktails to the oysters, truffle fries, salad, entrees, and sides. The NY Strip was cooked to perfection, and even as a non-meat eater, I couldn't resist stealing a few bites. The sides were equally delicious, and we ended with a decadent creme brulee and complimentary birthday profiteroles. The portions were generous, especially the creme brulee. We had leftovers of the steak, whipped potato, and fries to enjoy later. Service was on point. Several staff members checked on us numerous times. Their attention to detail was impressive. I opted for the Prime Rib French Dip and my cousin had the Roasted Chicken Dip. I also had the espresso martini to pair with my lunch. Prime Rib French Dip: I've had many French dips in my life, and certainly without a doubt was the best I've EVER had. The meat was incredibly juicy & tender, the bread was baked golden to perfection & the au jus was great. The fries were also hot & crispy. I asked for ranch to dip my fries and OH.MY.GOSH. This ranch was incredibly delicious, definitely another best. Espresso Martini: This was STRONG. My father had been telling my wife and I how wonderful the Le Ame Parisian Steakhouse was on a recent visit there, so my wife and I decided to splurge and give it a try. From the moment we decided to make a reservation online (which I highly recommend well in advance), we were excited for the experience. The service, the food, and the overall ambiance were absolutely incredible, and we enjoyed certain dishes that made us feel that we were actually visiting France. While we went for dinner and dessert, you can find separate lunch and brunch menus on the website. Even with a reservation, there was a short wait to be seated though it was certainly worth it once we were, and everyone was so respectful. While we waited, we could glance around the the beautiful interior and design to make us feel like we were actually in Paris (to complement the food). Our server was absolutely delightful (Patricia) and made us feel right at home. We ordered glasses of wine and a truffled brie baguette to start (though we also received a complimentary taste of their pecorino soup with chives). While the soup sample was good, the truffled brie baguette was incredible, with warm brie, roasted garlic, and truffle honey! Patricia provided advice and suggestions that included me adding Café de Paris Butter to my New York strip while my wife ordered the Ora king salmon. We split an order of asparagus. Patricia later suggested that we order profiteroles (with French vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate ganache). While we instead settled for the chocolate tart with chocolate caramel ganache and vanilla Chantilly, Patricia brought out a some profiteroles for us to try, too. Every dish we tried was delicious and just added to the experience, as did Patricia. They have complimentary self-parking nearby, which involves getting a parking ticket validated. They also have valet parking at the cost of $10 but you can send a text when you are wrapping up your meal for your car to be ready for you when you come outside. Also, as I mentioned before, you want to make a reservation in advance unless you plan to eat at the bar, which people do. Le Âme absolutely exceeded our expectations. The food was spectacular from start to finish. We ordered the Truffle Brie Baguette, Steak Frites, and the Ravioli, and every dish was outstanding. The brie was perfectly warm and melty, paired beautifully with a drizzle of honey. The steak was cooked exactly right and seasoned to perfection, and the ravioli was filled with a rich, creamy ricotta while the bright pomodoro sauce tied everything together flawlessly. The cocktails were just as impressive. We had the Elevator Affair and a French 75, and both were delicious and well-balanced. The service truly stood out. Our server, Paul, took incredible care of us. He was attentive, kind, and even offered me a purse hook for the table which was such a thoughtful touch! Everything came out at the perfect pace, making the entire experience feel seamless. The ambiance is beautiful as well. The lighting set the mood perfectly, the outdoor dining area was kept at a very comfortable temperature, and I loved being able to see into the kitchen and watch the chefs at work. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, pushing back our 8:15 reservation by another 20 minutes. Seemed fine at the time. Once seated, it took forever for our server to come over, then literally 30 minutes just to get our bottle of wine. The server was kind of cold and off putting, and our entrees didn't come out until well after 10pm. Almost two hours of sitting there starving. We were about ready to walk out. Honestly, I could've forgiven the wait if the food had been incredible, but after that longgg buildup everything was just bland. Really bland. I love French food and was so excited, but nothing had any flavor. The filet was fine but it's a filet, you know? Everything else was forgettable. They comped our entrees because of the wait, which was commendable, but we're used to great service at these prices. It was still super pricey and my birthday dinner became a disappointment. At no point did they offer us anything from the kitchen to hold us over, another glass of wine, or even an explanation of what was taking so long. Super surprised as Ive heard nothing but good things about this place. The only positive is the ambiance, it really did feel like we were in France. Beautiful space. I don't know where to begin. This dinner got off to an inauspicious start, as it seemed like the hosts didn't know where to put us and we were forgotten about for the first 10 minutes, we were there. However... this was quickly remedied by staff from GM, Floor manager and our server. They were incredible and made many touches to the table to make up for the early wait and also comped not only a couple of hors d'oeuvres, but dessert as well. That aside, the food, beverage, service and ambiance were exceptional. The Manhattan was perfection. Dinner was paired with a beautiful Bordeaux. The Steak au Poivre was special; so delicious and clean. We enjoyed an order of the King Crab Bucatini as well, which again delivered perfection on a plate. We had no room for dessert, but ordered a toffee and pecan gateau anyway and it was very solid. I would run back to Le Âme. It hits all the right notes. We went for my boyfriend's birthday and they wrote him a card wishing him a happy birthday. The baguette with brie and truffle honey was one of the best appetizers I have ever had. Located in the lobby of the global ambassador it is trendy yet quiet high-end yet approachable and just a really fun time for a really cute date night. My first visit to The Global Ambassador and definitely not my last... I attended a lovely birthday dinner for a friend's 50th birthday at Le Âme Parisian Steakhouse last Thursday. There were nine of us in the party and the hostesses reserved a private room for our group. The private room was key, as we could actually hear each other amongst the bustling crowd in the main seating area. Clyde was our server and took good care of us along with many other staff members who made sure we had beverages at all times. We started with a plethora of drinks including a bottle of Sancerre, a favorite of both mine and the birthday girl... we also ordered the truffle fries and truffled brie baguette appetizers for the table and were not disappointed with either. For entrees, our group enjoyed the hamburger, the short rib, a few salads, and the birthday girl and I split the King Crab Bucatini and an order of Brussels Sprouts. Both were delicious! My sister and I really enjoyed our evening here! We got the French onion soup, layonnaise salad, ravioli and bolognese. The ravioli salad and soup were amazing!! I've never had such incredible ravioli in my life. I'll definitely be ordering it again. I didn't enjoy the bolognese as much as I wish I did- it was too al dente and very mushy but the flavor was decent. But regardless the service and ambiance were lovely and that ravioli and salad got the 5 stars for me! I'd come back for sure :) I wish I remembered our waitress name- I believe she was French. Le Âme Parisian Steakhouse was an absolute surprise. Not knowing what to expect, I was delighted to find that this place serves authentic French fare and takes it seriously. The food was excellent, extremely fresh, and cooked with a lot of attention to detail, arriving exactly as I ordered it. While they don't indulge in wild, crazy culinary experiments, what they do, they do exceptionally well. The ambiance was another pleasant surprise. The setting is very romantic, dark, and dreamy, creating a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. It's perfect for a special night out. From the wait staff to management, the service was top-notch, especially compared to other dining options in the Phoenix area. There are not many places in PHX that have an ambiance like Le Ame and the Global Ambassador. Phoenicians are known for always looking for the new hot spot in town, flocking from one trendy restaurant to the next, but I'd argue Le Ame is timeless and will unequivocally be a staple in the valley for years to come. Our evening started with a home run. The tuna carpaccio, in my opinion, is the best thing I've had at Le Ame (two meals). Light, delicate, fresh, this dish had it all. We also tried the French onion soup. I found it to be a little on the salty side, but my lady disagreed and loved it, so clearly subjective. For my main course I ordered a filet, it was perfectly cooked, medium rare, and had a 5 star flavour. The truffle butter was a nice addition as well. For our sides, we shared the sweet potato and Brussel sprouts (which was technically an app). The sweet potato was another highlight of the night. The hot honey and pomegranates in the sweet potato dish enhanced its natural sweetness x 10. An amazing side that I'd order again. I found the brussel sprouts to be decent, but it definitely got overshadowed by the sweet potato's. Profiteroles for dessert. The perfect amount for 2. My review would be incomplete without giving a shoutout to the entire team at Le Ame. They truly went above and beyond and created a memorable night. We had lunch here recently and the food was good. So was the service and the ambiance. It's busy and bustling at lunch. I have two suggestions: 1. Use a steak knife that doesn't slide off the plate when it balances it on the edge of the plate. This kept happening and it was very frustrating and messy. 2. Check the glassware. One guest at our table was served water in a glass with a chip on the rim where one would place one's lips. read more
