Little Woody's has a great social atmosphere and can be a fun place to grab drinks with friends, but the cleanliness took away from the experience for me. The bar area and seating felt worn down, and there was a strong smell inside that made the space feel a bit unkept. It still has potential as a lively neighborhood spot, but a good cleaning and refresh would make a huge difference. We just drank and I'm not sure they have food. It is located in the cutest area and conveniently near other bars, so it makes for the perfect place to start your night for a little. Service was great and the music was good, as well.

This bar is hidden. I have driven past here so many times with no clue it even existed. I found out about it from a friend who suggested meeting here after work. We made it for happy hour right when the doors first open at 4pm. I didn't know what to expect but upon entering the inside was dark with the red lights lit. The bar area was the brightest and there were seats available. As I wondered around before hitting the bar, I peeked in the connecting room where there are a few pool tables to shoot pool. Then when I made it to the bar, bartender Kristie mentioned they have a separate room for arcade and other games. She was super nice and was ready for me and my friends drink orders. I asked if she could make The Night Owl margarita without the jalapeno since I wasn't in the mood for spicy. This drink was amazingly good. I sipped on this slow to enjoy the flavors. Around 5pm the crowd started to come in. Then the noise level picked up. I'm so happy this is close to home and work so I can go hangout and not have to go far.

Great spot! Even though they call themselves a dive bar, they surpass dive bar standards. Earlier in the evening, they have their craft kitchen open. Nachos are great and the Mac and cheese is nearly to die for. Their classic cocktails are 7 dollars on happy hour In terms of activities, they have pool (free on mondays), skee ball, darts, and more! There's three separate seating areas so plenty of space to go around. I think the same bartender has been there both times I've been (Monday from 5ish to 7) and she's always super friendly with speedy service, and her french 75 can't be beat

Cute little dive bar in Arcadia! Make sure to follow your map--you might miss the turn otherwise (I have before ). It's a bit hidden, but definitely a great find. Drinks are a bit pricey, but the inside is surprisingly spacious, with multiple areas for general seating, games, and more. Can't speak to the food, but drinks have always been good. Nothing fancy or overly amazing. The owl theme is fun, and the place is decently clean. Security is always friendly, and I appreciate that they have a view of the parking lot, makes me feel safe walking to my car as a female guest.

First time at this bar and loved it. When we walked in we didn't realize how big the bar actually is. There are 3 sections. One has arcade games, darts, and other games. Another section has pool tables. The main section has different seating options. The entire bar has an owl decor/theme. There are many different drink options. They also have a food menu. The service was amazing. The bartenders were great. I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back.

As dive bars go...one of the best I've been in. As Phoenix's second olds bar (just behind the Bikini Lounge), they have maintained a really great legacy. I didn't try any food but just stopped in for a night cap which was made perfectly by a great bartender. I didn't catch his name but he made me feel welcome on my first visit. If you want to avoid crowds, pop in here on a Monday night and play some free skee ball! Just some good fun!

Great Phx bar. My friends and I came here to celebrate. They have 3 different rooms with different vibes - one bar and sitting, one dancing, and one pool tables - so definitely great for everyone. Also the drinks were amazing!!! My friend said her mule was fantastic. I got a specialty drink called the poise with gin. Would come again!

Wow. All I can is what a restaurant! Came here on a Wednesday night 3 weeks before Christmas and…read moreit was a vibe. Secluded upstairs dining area with heaters available. Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!

I love the giant disco balls and the aesthetic of this place. We started with the appletini and lemongrass highball (non-alcoholic). My friend and I ended up switching drinks because we liked each other's more than our own. For the second round, we ordered the brandy spritz and primrose martini. We weren't fans of the brandy spritz, although my friend grew into it. The primrose martini was quite good, I liked it better than the appletini. For snackies, we ordered the glizzy gaunlet, which was basically a tower of carbs. It came with 5 mini dogs with milk bread, and potato wedges. There were 3 sauces, my favorite in order were the: truffle dijonnaise, kosho aioli, and korean ketchup. We enjoyed this more than the food at Filthy Animal. Although it was pricey ($22) for just carbs and hardly any protein. The milk bread was delicious and the mini dogs were pretty good too. The potato wedges were cooked perfectly, slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would I return? Probably not. The food was better than the drinks but it wasn't outstanding.

Honestly, I have no idea how it got those reviews. Maybe they're paid, I'm not sure, but based on my experience I would not go back. The biggest issue was the service. We arrived and were told to sit anywhere we wanted. After sitting down, we waited about 20 minutes and no one ever came to our table. No greeting, no water, nothing. Eventually I had to walk up to the bar and ask what the procedure was. Do we order at the bar? Do you have table service? No one could give a clear answer. They just kept saying, "If you want, you can order here." That's not the point. If I sit down at a restaurant, I expect someone to come to the table and explain how things work or take our order. If the system is that you order at the bar, just say that clearly so people know what to do. The drinks were also very mediocre. Nothing special at all. Honestly, they tasted like something you could throw together at home with soda, alcohol, and ice. The surprising part is that the food was actually phenomenal. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing. The dishes were delicious and probably the best part of the entire experience. But great food alone isn't enough to make me return somewhere with poor service and forgettable drinks. My recommendation is don't waste your time on a Sunday brunch. There are plenty of other brunch spots with good food and good service.
