We had a super fun night of on trivia here. We were starving, it was late, and we just wanted some quick food but ended up staying almost two hours playing trivia and eating pizza. Pizza was great! I really enjoyed it. The pace of the trivia was brutal. I understand they want people to hang around and drink and spend more money, but we don't drink so the extra hour spent waiting only to *almost win* was so sad lol. I would definitely get this pizza again if we are in the area, but would probably do takeout. read more

Came here for a Husker game and it was so much fun! The staff is lovely, the drinks were good, and the vibe was amazing for watching Husker football/volleyball. Late post from visit in March. We wanted to watch some sports and grab some Apps and remembered going to Clancy's on a previous visit in town. The bar was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon but we didn't have to wait for a table. Our server was nice and she knew what she was doing. As busy as it was she was taking orders left and right; taking care of a bunch of tables and was attentive to everything. It's a sports bar vibe and a good number of TV's. You can tell it has a lot of regulars. We loved that they have pitchers of beer. For appetizers we had the Valley Nachos with beef, it's good but not piled as high as other places. We also had the Reuben Egg Rolls which were delicious . It comes with 1000 Island Dressing for dipping which makes it even better. Great place to eat and hang out. read more

My experience here was very good. I went on a scavenger hunt bar crawl and this was one of the bars. It was around 5pm when me and my friends arrived. It was packed inside, but there were still tables available. The crowd was lively with conversation and reactions to the various games that were on. The waitress was really nice and though she was busy, she kept up with tending to us. Initially I wasn't going to order anything, but I saw Irish Nachos on the menu that helped me change my mind. These were made with tater tots and were so good. I split these with my friend and my other friend ordered the fish and chips. The drink I ordered was a skinny margarita which only cost $4.86 and was the business! The bartender was really cool. She let me know they make everything and have everything lol. read more

We stumbled upon Clancy's by chance yesterday when in the area at another local business and decided to stop in and check the place out. It was quite busy for earlier in the day. The vibe was great and we quickly found a high top near the window, but perfect view of the TVs above the bar. Our waitress came over quickly and took our drink orders while we looked over the menu. We quickly decided on pizza and wings when we saw one come out. Not what I was going to choose at an Irish pub, but it looked amazing. They had all you can eat fish dry going so that will be next on my list for sure. I will be coming again. Everything came out fairly quick. Wings were phenomenal. They were sauced well, and tasted great. Not super huge but also not those ridiculous baby wings you get at other sports bars the pizza had awesome flavor the crust was good but the center of the pizza was a bit soggy but we ordered the Heavyweight Pizza so lots of toppings. That typically happens with extra toppings. It's my fault for not asking them to cook a bit longer for crispier bottom. Still amazing and I'd order it again. They have great happy hour menu as well as late night food. Great spot to watch sports or hang out with friends. Service was friendly and efficient. We stumbled upon Clancy's Pub because we had a large party and weren't able to get into another sports bar up the road, so we were happy they were able to accommodate our larger party. They sat us out on the patio at a long table which was nice. They had a decent selection on the menu and the food was good, especially the cheese curds; however, the server we had wasn't the nicest. My aunt asked to not to have her fish placed on top of her fries, and our server said, "That's kind of a crazy request with how busy we are," which in my opinion wasn't an outrageous request. She just seemed to have a bit of an attitude with us. Overall, it was an okay experience, just a bit awkward after that comment was made. read more

First off, I rarely rate...that being said, we waited over 30 minutes for a Guinness (at an "Irish Pub"), they got 2/5 orders wrong, insects in another beer and when mentioned we got an "Oh, well, we didn't put the bug in your beer"...after all of that we left a 10% tip to be nice based on the whole experience. The kicker...when we went to leave, our server had the gall to call out the tip (or in her mind, lack thereof) first time ever any of us have experienced that...0/5 would never recommend. Second day in a row we have come here. Today is Saint Pattys Day! Jason was awesome with giving me some Green material to wear, and I was able to crown a couple of gentlemen who were yet to have been pinched aka not wearing any green as I walked my way back to the table with almost no green merch left. Clancy's is a Nebraska favorite so we had to show up for first game of the season watch party. This place is located near Old Town Scottsdale. It gets very packed very quickly. I was impressed to see that they actually have a overflow room next to the bar. Our friend arrived 2 hours before game time to secure a seats. For seating they do have indoor and outdoor seating. For the outdoor seating they do have misters and some shade covering the sun. On this occasion we went for the first game and so it was a very crowded period no room even just for standing so either had to have a table or be near the table because it was very packed inside. Clancy's offers game day specials and so we were happy to see they had a special menu for when the Huskers play period they did serve there him made Runza's and so that always makes you feel back to Nebraska. Our table we ordered items to share those included cheese curds, wings, chicken tenders, tater tots, queso dip, fries and tots. Everything was pretty good to order came out hot reasonably priced and plenty to share. Clancy's also boast game day drink specials so plenty of hard liquor, cold beers and shots to go around the place!!! All in all a very good time was had spending with my friends from Nebraska that live in The Valley. read more

You asked about my experience well let me tell you this I've been a patron of theirs and if someone close family member or close enough to one of the family members the owner so I really didn't expect what I received . Long story short I brought a guest in there with me she had a dog with her the restaurant policy is that all dogs are allowed that are Esa or emotional support dogs and when we arrived we were questioned beyond belief and told to leave . Although the manager all the bartenders the staff know us there they acted like it was the first time we were there and they treated us as such I'm not going to go into the service and the prices because that's not what my visit was about but I will tell you this don't go there they're losing it their manager named Brandon is a mess he's a Nazi Hitler type and makes it very uncomfortable for everybody there . Kind staff, filthy dirty though. The actual bar here is good. Great main bartender, Jolene, is attentive and keeps the bar surface wiped down and dishes clean. The servers are nice and friendly. The place is filthy though. I get that it's a 'dive bar' but that doesn't mean you can't clean the tables off once in a while. Even the shades are riddled with all kinds of food chunks and who knows what else, GROSS. I witnessed staff just scrapping food onto the floor with a menu in between groups rather than wiping off the table. The bathrooms are in disrepair and usually a mess. Place needs a deep clean and then a least regular daily upkeep. So, if you can get past the nasty conditions, it is a fun place. read more

I've been here twice now, and both times the staff shut off the local Arizona games we were watching to put on something else. Even though I've seen TVs set to different channels, they still claimed "all the TVs are connected" and refused to keep our game on. On my last visit, I overheard our server laughing about changing the channel on purpose to drive us out -- right after we left a 25% tip on a $900 tab. As we packed up, a security guard came over and barked at us to "hurry up" because others wanted our seats. For a supposed sports bar, the service and attitude here are flat-out disrespectful. Great local sports bar! Many available tables to view the multiple TVs showcasing live games. The food is really good. Perfect portions, tasty, and selection. We got the hot Ruban Sandwich, Slider Burgers, and Hot Pretzel. (It is NOT $3 extra for a side of spicy cheese b/c it comes with the pretzel's menu cost of $12 unlike the reviewer who stated otherwise) All were exceptional bar food. Pleasantly satisfied and all ppl were friendly, including staff. Side salad reminded me of the way Outback or Longhorn used to serve their delicious fresh mixed greens with shredded cheese, crunchy croutons, sliced tomatoes and onions, and a great semi-creamy balsamic dressing. I stopped in on a Saturday night with friends. Clancy's is only a block away from the heart of Scottsdale's bar district. However, the crowd is very different. While Old Town Scottsdale bar district is filled with 20 somethings and 30 somethings, Clancy's was mostly 40 somethings and up. It has that relaxed bar with it's regulars feel. This is in contrast to the tourist filled bars just a slight bit West On St Patrick's Day they go all out. They fence off a large section of the parking lot and charge $25 to enter and take cash only as payments. read more
