I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this gem while in Phoenix for the weekend. Great beer, reasonable prices, and good service. No complaints here.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. They have Happy Hour everyday from open-7pm. I had a hard time deciding; beer or wine. They had a Tempranillo which I really enjoy. However, I chose beer during this visit. The bartender was sweet and we trusted her suggestions. She made each selection for us and we enjoyed each of our drinks. We spent a few hours. It's a pretty small space, a few couples filled it rather quickly. It never felt too crowded while we were there. They offer small snacks and you can order food and have it delivered if you wish.

Right off Bethany in a small shopping strip mall. Such an amazing selection of beer to choose from . Prices are pretty good, bottles only. If you can make it for Happy hour the prices are even better. If you get lucky enough to get the bearded bartender, he is very knowledgeable about all the beers and will get you exactly what you're looking for! Sorry about the blurry beer selection, guess I had a few to many.

Why do I like the whining pig? It is a very quaint and casual establishment. Walking in it feels like Cheers from television and also like your home. Everybody seems accepted right away and you build bonds. Both the wine and beer lists are well conceived with a wide array of offerings to please almost any palate. They have quite a selection of games that you can sit and play and challenge your mind, as you get intoxicated and think about calling your Uber. My wife and I just enjoy those neighborhood down home feeling establishments and this is definitely one of those. We really enjoyed our time here as it was our 1st visit and we will be back again. Thank you for the hospitality we really enjoyed it and meeting the proprietor as well as Gretchen. #irishcatv2

Good place for beers, but very tight and crowded. When you walk in, it's just a bar with seats around the bar. Lots of different beers to choose from, something for everyone. IPA, sours, hops, ales, porters...etc. Bartender was nice and friendly. I went with Orange Blossom, which is a locally brewed beer. It was fresh and crisp. There are games around the bar area to play while you drink, which is fun. Food selection is small, just a few different grilled cheeses to pick from,

Stopped in this past Thursday night. Was warming welcomed. Love the vibe here. I've only been once before. After looking over the menu my friend ordered the mystery wine and I ordered my choice. Mine tasted very off. For $12 I decided to say something. The bartender tried it and agreed.. it had turned. No problem. Here is another glass. She apologized and couldn't have been nicer. That is one of the many reasons I will return! Awesome place!!

Meat and Cheese Plate $14: I wasn't super hungry for dinner, so charcuterie and a glass of wine sounded like a good idea to me. I think even on a more empty stomach I would've found this filling. I definitely think it's good for 2 people to share! I was there around 8:30 PM on a Wednesday and the board said they were out of grilled cheeses. If you have your heart set on that plus a glass of wine, maybe call ahead to double check. As far as I know, everything is written on the huge chalkboard, rather than a printed menu. This suggests their selection changes often. It was hard for me to see everything, but I was in the mood for a moscato and they only had one choice for that anyways. The bartender, Andrew, did seem knowledgeable if you needed recommendations. The place is relatively small. I didn't notice any tables, just the kind of U-shaped bar, and I think there was a counter with seating along one wall. Still, it's a chill spot to stop by for a glass or 5 of wine and catch up with friends or a date! ***** My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. Just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars - Meh. Unlikely for me to return. 3 Stars - OK. Open to coming back, but wouldn't go out of my way to. 4 Stars - Yummy! Will definitely return if I haven't already. 5 Stars - AMAZING!!! Would plan my day or even a trip around eating here.

Came in tonight and saw our favorite bartender Bruno. He is always super chill and very welcoming. He makes everyone feel like a regular. He's a good vibes bartender and always so polite.

Does anyone know if they have live music and if so when? Thank good

Yes, not live music since the place is too small. Personally, I love the music and it makes me want to be there for hours.

Whining Pig came up on my Yelp search for a Chicago Bears bar. Anybody know if that is accurate? Want a place to watch Bears Packers tomorrow.

Sorry hope you got your answer Iam late to this but I do know theres a bears bar in Chandler

We came in on a Saturday afternoon and shared a couple of dishes including the delicious meatloaf with poached eggs, home fries and beans. It absolutely lived up to its reputation: hearty, flavorful and seriously satisfying. We also shared the tenderloin toast with tender pieces of steak served on baguette slices and topped with melted Brie. Rich, delicious and perfect for sharing. The drinks are stiff, the staff is genuinely friendly and the Bloody Mary definitely did not disappoint. The whole place has a cozy, tucked-away atmosphere that makes the "Hideaway" name especially fitting. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's a minor inconvenience for a place this good. Dick's is part of the Richardson's family of restaurants, with a couple of sister spots nearby, and it's easy to see why they've built such a loyal following. A hidden gem worth seeking out.

The bone marrow was interesting and flavorful, but I'm not sure it was worth $25. The oysters were good, although I wish there had been a few different sauce options beyond the basic preparation. The steak was probably a 3.2/5 for me--it was good, but at $62, I expected more, especially considering it was served with fries. Service was good overall, although the experience started off a little strangely. We had made a reservation and mentioned that it was our anniversary, that we were trying a new restaurant, and that we were hoping to make the evening special. Unfortunately, none of that was acknowledged. When we arrived, we were directed to the front, where the hostess seemed confused about our reservation before eventually taking us to our table. I wasn't expecting anything extravagant, but even a simple "Happy Anniversary" would have made a difference. The ambience was definitely one of the highlights--moody, intimate, and a nice setting for a date night. I was actually happy that we were seated along the back wall rather than in the main dining area. Overall, I'd give the experience about a 2.7/5. The food was decent and the atmosphere was nice, but for the price ($85 per person), I expected a little more from both the food and the overall experience. Especially for an anniversary dinner, it was disappointing to make a point of mentioning the occasion and have it go completely unacknowledged.

UPDATE 2026…read more Bluewater is our new favorite seafood restaurant. We went last Wednesday for HH and the bartenders are a fantastic team. They run a very professional bar. The service we received from them was next level. The kitchen did a great job too. I got the fish and chips with walleye. It was flaky goodness paired with crisp and salty fries. The Spanish octopus was alright. The clam chowder was flavorful and not too salty; definitely made it into the top three clam chowders I've had in the state so far. For our main entrees we ordered the New England lobster roll and the gemelli pasta with shrimp and scallops. The lobster roll was flavorful but felt like it was missing something. The gemelli pasta tasted a bit bland for my taste buds, but the family member I went with really enjoyed it. Since we always have room for dessert, we ordered a crème brulee to share. The crème brulee was nice and not overly sweet. Overall, service was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and the food arrived in a timely manner. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with nautical décor throughout which gives off a comfortable and relaxing vibe.

I arrived a bit before 6 to find it closed, no sign on the door and nothing online stating it had closed. So we headed downtown to the second location. I arrived about 6:10 pm and was asked if I had a reservation. I explained that we went to the other location only to find it closed and when we called the only number on the website to make a reservation (earlier in the day), no one answered the phone. We called multiple times. The guy at the door informed us the other location had closed and he couldn't seat us until 8 pm unless we wanted to sit at the bar. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager there. A restaurant should always have a manager or someone on site empowered to address customer concerns. We agreed to sit at the bar. First we ordered cocktails for $17 each. While they were tasty and refreshing, they had virtually no alcohol. I ordered the Kra Pow and, on the server's recommendation, chose the pork belly. My friend ordered the Pad Ki-Mao with pork belly. After waiting 30-45 minutes for the food, it finally arrived. Mine was dry pieces of pork belly, dry rice, an egg and three cucumber slices, no sauce whatsoever. When I asked for sauce, I was offered soy sauce and hot chili. My friend's noodles were tasty, but she also thought her pork belly was dry. The server, who was also the host and bartender didn't check in on us a single time during our meal. Between the outdated website, unanswered phone, lack of management and service, long wait and underwhelming food and drinks, the entire experience was extremely disappointing. I expected much more from this place.
